Gem in aventura. This is an Argentinian steakhouse with Italian fusion. It's a beautiful restaurant and nice ambience. The waiters were very attentive and the food was great! We were already discussing what we would be ordering on our next visit lol. Needless to say we'll be back for more!

Had a skirt steak medium rare, was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Visiting Aventura area for work and will be around semi frequently going forward. This will be a regular option for us going forward.

If you like steaks you should definitely visit this place, the meat dishes here are just great! So tender and so juicy. Love this place and btw you can order one steak to share if you come with your girlfriend or wife cause the portions are huge. Smashed potatoes and sautéed spinach is a great accomplishment to your meaty order. The restaurant has plenty variety of vines.

The restaurant has a great selection and specialties of Argentina food with a modern mix feel , the server Daniel made great recommendations on drinks, appetizer, entrées, even dessert, which I don’t usually eat . Got the Parrillada Novecento. The New York strip and the skirt steak were super flavourful and juicy. Sausages were great too. Their steak empanada is the best I've had to date. Definitely recommend.

Out of town, here for business. I came here two nights in a row, once for happy hour and once for dinner (my birthday!). Daniella greeted on my first visit, and remembered me when I returned. That’s always nice, and it made me feel welcome.

This restaurant is phenomenal! I celebrated my daughter's christening brunch there this past weekend and I must say, that was one of the best experiences I've ever had at a restaurant. Prior to the event, I was in communication with their event coordinator, Micaela Cavalieri. Micaela ensured all my needs were met. Micaela was very professional and answered any questions or concerns I had in a timely manner. Not to mention, my daughter's customized menu was beautifully done. Fast forward to the day of the event. As soon as we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by our waiters: Carlos and Lissette. Hands down, the BEST customer service I've ever received at a restaurant. They were friendly, attentive, kind, patient, and caring. Carlos always had a smile on his face and was so pleasant. Lissette was so sweet. My grandmother had her purse on the ground, Lissette immediately brought my grandmother a purse rack to store her bag so it would not be on the floor for the duration of the brunch. At one point, the manager came out to check on each table. He was so sweet and friendly. Now to the food, TOP TIER! Being that we had a large party, the menu had to be pre-set. The two appetizers were: French Toast Argentino and the Ensalada Gorgonzola Y Peras. It was served family size. They both were equally delicious. For the main course, I had the Salmon & Shrimp, chefs kiss and the portion size was adequate. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. Amazing staff, great food, and nice atmosphere. Not all restaurant makes you feel welcomed, but this one does. I can't wait to return and try different options on the menu.

I have patronized this restaurant since they opened! “Lis” was my server she was super attentive happy to be working at this establishment. I ordered a salmon burger with french fries and a strawberry salad with goat cheese and a cappuccino in their lunch pre-fix menu. I recommend coming by checking them out for lunch. Cute little spot woth outdoor seating. Aileen was attentive and filled up water regularly as well, which is always a hit and miss at restaurants. She made good recommendations and was very friendly. Advised tip was included at the end of the bill already. Food was good. Had the skirt steal with spinach. Others had salmon, picanha and eggs benedict with smoked salmon. We didn't feel rushed. Parking out in front for free. Prices are reasonable for Miami, but a tad on the high side on some of the items, for what you get.

The service was excellent! There is a great variety of dishes to choose from, and the price-to-quality ratio is very good. They also offer a kids’ menu, which is perfect for families, and have many promotions throughout the week.

Every visit to Novecento at Aventura feels like a homecoming, and this time was no exception; I savored the soup of the day, followed by a delectable Pomodoro Novecento that was perfectly al dente, just the way I like it. Paired with a refreshing Mimosa, it made for a truly uplifting experience. The exceptional service from our waitress, Carlos P, and the entire staff truly made our visit special.

Nice atmosphere and friendly waiters. 4stars due to the sautéed veggies being too salty and the flan with dulce de leche didn’t taste that great. Other than that the steaks and salmons were quite nice. I am not from Miami, so I can’t compare with other restaurants here, but from what I hear this is one of the best places to go for steaks.

We had such a great time at Novecento!!! The food was great, we started with the most delicious mussels I’ve ever tasted. Our main dish was milanesa a caballo and pear & blue cheese salad w/ shrimps. Our wine was so yummy, El Enemigo, a really good Argentinian Malbec. Then, we had two delicious desserts (panqueques and flan, both w/ dulce de leche) they were delicious (my favorite was the flan). Best of all was the extraordinary service, kudos to Lissette Ortiz (sweetest server in Miami) and Chef Jose, we received just an outstanding service from them, thank you, hasta pronto.

First time customers who wanted to experience their happy hour before returning to order off their regular dinner menu. We were a little underwhelmed with the textures and overall lack of flavor on the dishes we tried. The best thing we had was the warm lava cake and chocolate ice cream. Service was a little slow at first but when Melissa took over as our waitress she did an excellent job!

Novecento: A Chain That Forgot Its Accent Novecento in Aventura, part of a once-beloved South Florida group inspired by Argentine cooking, now feels like a restaurant trading on distant memories. I hadn’t been back in more than five years; time has not been kind. The evening began poorly. The hostess shuffled us between small, unready tables with irritation, and when the manager stepped in mid-shuffle, he was equally short about helping us settle. We were eventually seated, and our server was genuinely kind—a small but notable contrast. The warm bread arrived only after our starter, nullifying its role as a welcome. It came with an eggplant-based spread of egg, oil, garlic, and onion—not Argentine, but genuinely good. We opened with grilled provoleta, an Argentine classic meant to seduce. Instead, it arrived undersized and excessively oily, missing the promised oregano and topped with a single cold, stubborn slice of tomato. Oily, it turned out, was a recurring theme throughout the meal. The Novecento parrillada included chicken, sausages, sweetbreads, entraña, and bife de chorizo. None stood out. The meats were chewy and subpar, especially when measured against other strong Argentine restaurants in South Florida. Having just returned from Argentina, the gap felt especially pronounced. Sides were forgettable, and the use of small ceramic plates subtly underscored the restaurant’s reduced caliber. Once distinctive, Novecento now feels overly commercial and disconnected from its roots. I wouldn’t return to this location.

We had too high hopes for this place. Its mediocre at best. The milanesa was quite small and it tasted very oily, and was not lean meat. Provoleta was okay. Flan clearly was made some kind of condensed milk or heavy cream which is not traditional in argentinean flan, so it was disappointing. Will not come back sadly.

The food was extremely delicious truly. That’s actually what makes this experience more disappointing. We made a reservation well in advance for the Valentine’s Day menu, specifically because we liked what was being offered and wanted to avoid long wait times and crowds. Our reservation was at 9:30 PM, yet we still waited about 30 minutes to be seated. After that, it took another 30 minutes to receive our first drinks, and nearly an hour after the appetizer. We ordered everything at once when the server first came to our table. An hour later, we were informed that one of the main dishes we ordered was no longer available. There was no proper substitute offered for the lomo saltado my husband ended up ordering pasta instead, even though he had been looking forward to the lomito all evening. The food quality itself was excellent, but on busy holidays like Valentine’s Day, better organization and planning are essential. I definitely won’t come back during big days like yesterday!

Disappointing experience. I visited last Friday and the restaurant was empty, yet the service was terrible. Our waitress was chatting with another employee instead of attending customers. The bathroom was dirty and had no toilet paper in two stalls. The food quality was also poor, the meat was very fatty and the spinach overly salty. I hope this feedback helps them improve, especially with so much competition in the area.

The knives were not properly sharpened, and everyone at our table struggled to cut their steaks. Each person ordered a different cut, with varying levels of tenderness, yet the issue was consistent across the table. We had to apply so much force that the table was shaking while trying to cut the meat. Additionally, some of the servers did not speak English very well, which made communication more difficult. Overall, the experience seemed more accommodating for Spanish-speaking guests.

We walked in behind a couple that was lost and didn't know where they were. The host was INCREDIBLY patient with her. She asked 1 million questions knowing there were people waited to be seated behind her and the host kept his cool the entire time. Unfortunately, it went downhill from here. The server Jorge was kind and courteous at first, he offered recommendations and let us know what was most popular. He asked if we wanted water, we said yes and he served water for my husband and myself but didn't offer plastic cups for our young daughters. It took forever to get my daughter's lemonade, we had to remind the server twice. We ordered. Our food took a while. Our older daughter had already finished her meal because it didn't come with the rest of the food (fine), but our younger daughter was just going to eat off our plates and was so frustrated that our older daughter already got her food. My husband ordered a coke and never got it. Our server walked past us several times and we were so frustrated. Finally I went to the bar and asked for plastic water cups for our kids. She was so kind and asked us if we wanted crayons and coloring pages, why wouldn't the server have offered that in the beginning?! We finally get our food and I ask the server for my husband's coke and he brings it right away, doesn't pour it in the glass and still had the audacity to charge us for two (which he corrected). Super frustrating. 1. Offer kids drinks in plastic cups 2. Offer paper and crayons when you sit down 3. Bring a drink relatively shortly after it's ordered

Went for dinner on Sunday around 6pm and left very disappointed. Went for Steak Rissotto but they didn’t have the rice available. Settled for steak, asked for medium steak with roasted potatoes , but got a medium-well stake with vegetables. Made them aware and they brought potatoes out but by then half of the stake was cold and the other half was gone. For dessert I ordered crème brule - not available. Then ordered for lemon sorbet - not available. Place was empty very few guest, for a reason… server never offered or served water. I won’t return ever.

La comida es bastante mala. Los camarones al ajillo insípidos, el filete Mignon quemado por fuera al igual que los 2 espárragos, lo mismo para el Ribeye. El puré llegó tarde y el de caja sabe mejor que el que me sirvieron. El postre, un flan, de bastante mal sabor y con la única fresa en mal estado. Our experience was very disappointing from the moment we arrived. Our reservation was delayed by about 20 minutes, and when they finally seated us, it wasn’t the outdoor table we had specifically requested. The hostess told us she would check on an outside table for us, but instead she gave it to another party and never came back to update us. Overall, very poor organization and communication.

My friends and I went there for mimosas and to our surprise they served us sparkling wine instead of champagne!! Then they charge I think it was $20 bottomless, that was a joke!! The food was good tho. We couldn't leave because we had ordered food so we ended up having beers.. Then they didn't even have Heineken beer so we were STUCK drinking sum other cheap draft beer Lol we went from mimosas too beers Lmfao!! 1st photo was like this is how they served their mimosas here? This was the 1st time EVER that we were served mimosas in these types of glasses.... PLEASE SERVE SOME REAL CHAMPAGNE INSTEAD OF SPARKLING WINE

Been going to Novecento since they open in Nueva Cordoba, Argentina in the 90's, been in practically every single one of them around the world, I have a place in Aventura, FL and been coming to this restaurant for years. it has changed for the total worse in the last few months, food is terrible, is more American junk than the Argentinean great food we used to enjoy. The atmosphere has also changed for the worse, no more that beautiful Argentinean Identity that made so special and the service is terrible. Gave it a last chance last night and it's over. Never coming back, very sad.

We visited this restaurant for the second time, and unfortunately this experience was completely disappointing. We ordered a steak that arrived with a very strong, unpleasant odor. It was immediately obvious something was wrong. After bringing it to the waitress’s attention, she agreed that the meat was bad. What’s concerning is that both the kitchen and the staff somehow missed something that was so clearly noticeable from the moment the plate arrived. While they did apologize, the situation was handled poorly. The waitress repeatedly mentioned a “discount” as compensation — which ended up being only $4. That felt dismissive considering we were served spoiled meat. In the end, I chose not to eat anything at all because I no longer felt confident in the quality and safety of the food. Very disappointing experience, especially after having had a decent first visit. Unfortunately, we won’t be returning.
