Great spot for brunch/lunch. I had the beef tacos and they were better than any other Mexican place I tried. 4.5/5 The steak and eggs were delcious 4/5 The egg and gas was ok. 3/5. Service was exceptional, would highly recommend this place.
Our Christmas dinner was excellent. We each had a salad, I loved mine (with fried goat cheese, apple, beets, walnuts, arugula, and craisins). His was a Caesar salad and he enjoyed it. We shared the Pesto Pasta and cleaned the plate. The bread was SO good. Two thumbs up from us!
Consistently exceeding expectations. Always a highlight of our Miami visits. Wonderful atmosphere, amazing staff (shoutout to Masiel), exceptional food. The Country Chicken and the Branzino are our latest favorites but it’s hard to pick.
So much to love about this place! From the delightful warm goat cheese salad to the artfully crafted pastas, each moment is a symphony of delight for all of the senses. The staff are very friendly and accommodating for modifications. My only complaint would be that the prices here are slightly high, but this restaurant is in south beach and is head and shoulders above some of the places on Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. Would highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Absolutely delicious! Here for work and was given this recommendation. Great place to dine and the service and atmosphere are stellar!
We had very delightful and relaxing brunch here, me and my girlfriend, we wanted to try this spot so many times, but we didn’t have opportunities!!! The spot is giving a highly good vibes, and is very chill! As food wise, we had the best recommendation from our server and we weren’t disappointed!!! 🤤🤤🤤 Service was amazing!!! 👍👍👍
First and absolutely not our last. Wonderful dining experience, excellent service and atmosphere. Started with salmon carpaccio, escargot, caribbean seafood soup. Next, sautéed, crisped branzino, shrimp risotto. Ended with a refreshing sorbet. A must try, neighborhood restaurant.
Outstanding food and cocktails. We had a churrasco steak, a ny strip steak au poive, and seafood paella with lobster. All three were excellent at a reasonable price. Very rare for a restaurant to get 3 different meals right for we 3, who eat out often, and usually find the experience just ok and mostly overpriced. Not Olivers Bistro! It was really good with a lovely atmosphere and very good service, just right amount of attention. We will go back soon. Just right in every way. 💕
The ambience was such a vibe, the food was immaculate and the service was great. This is gem in south beach!
Reasonable price, good service, fresh quality of food. I ordered fresh Oj and Garlic flatbread.. the juice was really good. The flatbread was good, the garlic is really strong so if you’re on a date or worried about your breath- it’s really pungent. Definitely will try other things next time.
I wish I lived in Miami, I would come here every week. It was so a beautiful vibe and the food was amazing!
It was a lovely diner ! Bosses are super friendly and don't hesitate to share a few words with their customers. The decor is ultra refined. The dishes are generous and delicious. A great place not to be missed in Miami Beach!
I had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant and I can only highly recommend it. The team is simply adorable, always smiling and attentive. The general manager is very caring, ensuring that every detail is perfect and that every customer feels special. The quality of the dishes matches the service, with delicious flavors and careful presentation. I often go there with my children, and they absolutely love it. An unforgettable dining experience that I recommend without hesitation
Greetings. We all had a wonderful time at Oliver's. Our serve, Rocco, was a delight and very professional. I have to be gluten free and he made sure that the kitchen was well aware. There are many gluten free offerings and the food is very good.
We were a group of 8 for Thanksgiving. We sat outside. The food was amazing! They offered a traditional Thanksgiving meal or you could offer off the menu. Great service and atmosphere with night lights. I highly recommend Oliver's Bistro! Also note that all food establishments automatically charge a 20% gratuity to your bill in the Miami area. You can always give more if the service was more than amazing 😊
Was visiting from New York and a local told me about this place, and it was truly amazing! The food was so fresh and the drinks were amazing. Everything was priced very well. The ambiance was gorgeous, really enjoyed my dinner on the patio. Will be coming back next time I come to sobe.
One of the "go-to" places that I always go to when visiting Miami. The service is always excellent and the menu has a variety of options for even the picky eaters.
Such a beautiful environment. Very hospitable service and the food was amazing.
A better spot you will not find Jean Paul and his team have a fantastic menu, great prices and a carbonate that is on point do yourself a favor and stop in
Neighborhood gem. Consistently good food, a great happy hour, excellent location, and friendly service. The patio is a perfect touch—especially on an early spring evening in Miami. Would absolutely recommend.
My favorite restaurant in Miami Beach. I eat here every time coming to Miami. Not many tourists, reasonable price, tasty dishes, french classic and variety meals and pleasant service always. This time the waitress recommended very good wine for good price which was not on the menu. Even accompanied breads were good. Very recommended when you are tired from expensive but not excellent foods.
The food here is interesting. The fruit plate was awesome. I ate each blueberry , blackberry and raspberry piece by piece. I wish the grapes were black , but they were red which is good. Also it had apples , honeydew melon, watermelon, kiwi, pineapple and cantaloupe. The popover was a scrambled egg with cheddar cheese and sausage inside some type of wheat bun. I ate the scrambled eggs. Also I had a green tea and a coffee. This was an interesting low calorie meal
This is a must-try place if youre visiting south beach. This local favorite really puts alot of love into the food, and the service is always wonderful. Had the whole branzino-which came de-boned with a wonderful cilantro/lime sauce and some killer potatoes, as well as some roasted vegetables and a steak and wild mushroom flatbread. Limoncello (my favorite) for an after dinner digestive, babe got his espresso. A wonderful spot to bring the office, or to have a casual dinner with a friend after work. Love the location and the area. Always sit outside if the weathers nice. Cannot recommend enough.
It is probably the best local restaurant around Miami Beach, especially for brunch and dinner. They have an amazing atmosphere, and as it’s located on West Ave, where mostly only locals, it makes it more joyful to visit this place and sit outdoors. The food is very delicious, the staff are very friendly, and honestly, none of my friends or family I took there ever complained.
We had a 12 hour layover in Miami on our trip abroad. We had a lovely brunch on Xmas eve, we were grateful they were open (unlike the last 2 places we tried beforehand). I tried the sayulita cocktail (which was like a mezcal old fashioned) a white sangria, and the California eggs Benedict. The seating outside was great, covered (saved us from a rain shower) but beautiful breeze. My boyfriend had the Dutch apple pancake and the south point punch cocktail and a mimosa. The food was excellent! Fresh, flavors well balanced and good portions! Will come again when we are back in town!
Do not sleep on this place if you are in Miami. The most wonderful hidden gem in south beach! This apple strudel was phenomenal, our waiter recommended it as it is made in house. Our dinner was amazing we had the grilled calamari for starters which I told my husband I wanted to lick the plate. He had pasta for dinner & I had spicy sausage with mussels. It was a great place to have a quiet, cozy & romantic fourth. This place is very dog friendly. Our waiter was so sweet and knowledgable she was a petite brunette and had glasses. She took such good care of us. Last but not least their wine menu is great too :p Cant wait to come back for breakfast!!!
I don’t normally leave reviews but we had a great experience here! The manager Phil was so kind and attentive from the moment we walked in. Our server Beatrice was just as sweet. The atmosphere was very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Food was great & service was timely. It’s obvious the staff cares genuinely about the environment & customer experience! Definitely would recommend:)
Love the food loved the service no complaints. Every plate was served really well. Pasta was amazing. The staff was always on point with any drink, refills or plates to be taken off the table.
This is by far my favorite restaurant in South Beach. I could just eat here everyday. The menu is so incredible with healthy delicious flavorful variety of surf, turf and more. A great vibe and indoor/outdoor atmosphere with lovely staff and great service. Discovered the blackened shrimp tacos, seen in photo. Highly recommend the burger or blackened Mahi. Yum 😋
If you are in Miami Beach this is a must try place for breakfast/brunch. My husband and I ate here the the first morning of our trip and on the last morning as well because The food was so good. Between my husband and I we had their salmon eggs benedict, omelet, smoked salmon toast, pancakes and French toast. Everything was delicious and my husband thought their pancakes were the best he has ever had. Will definitely visit again if we are ever back in this area.
Some of the best food I've ever had. Everything was cooked to perfection, drinks were excellent and the service was great.
we have salad, oysters, mussels and today’s special seabass. all of them are very fresh and delicious. we highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.
This place has awesome food and the customer service is even better! I actually dropped my bank card on the way out and a customer brought it to the gentleman behind the bar. He called me immediately and met me outside with my card. I really appreciate the excellent service and the steak sandwich I got was damn good. Will be back!
This was our second visit to Oliver's and it was excellent. The welcome was friendly, the seating and atmosphere were lovely. The food choices were varied. The ceviche was fresh and tasty as was the wonderful Caribbean fish soup (recommended). The fried chicken was crispy and moist and the mash and asparagus were excellent (big portions). The veg burger was also good. We didn't have room for dessert but hope to next time we visit.
Vanessa and the servers were all friendly and helpful. The food was EvErYtHiNg! We ordered Shishito Peppers, Steak & Eggs, and made own Omelette. The Shishito Peppers were very succulent! The steak was fantasic and the omelette was thick. Much Love to the Chef. Oliver's Bistro has Delicious Food, Perfect Portions & Great Customer Service.
Long-time favorite local spot. Shockingly reliable, delicious eats. You can't go wrong here. If they have it on the menu, it's guaranteed to be some kind of delicious. They offer a corned beef hash and eggs dish for breakfast/brunch that'll put your grandma's cooking to shame. Quite literally, the best I've ever had. Give it a try, thank me later.
Decent place to eat. Nice outdoor seating. Menu has various options.
Love this restaurant! Everything on the menu is delicious and you can't go wrong! Cocktails are all amazing! My favorite is the Gin cocktail with lavender (Can't remember the name). Highly recommended!
We've become regulars at Oliver's over the last six months since we moved to the neighbourhood. We love the food, service and atmosphere. Phillip, Bridget and Walter are our faves (although everyone is awesome). We haven't had anything on the menu we don't like although we're sad they recently removed the gnocchi from the menu!
Oliver’s Bistro is a hidden gem that brings a touch of culinary elegance to the neighborhood. The French onion soup is a heartwarming classic, rich with caramelized onions and a perfect crust of Gruyère. The escargot, bathed in garlic and parsley butter, offers a delicate balance of earthy and indulgent flavors. Lobster ravioli arrives as a revelation, each bite bursting with the sweet, tender essence of fresh lobster, enveloped in a silky cream sauce. The shrimp curry is an unexpected delight, with a vibrant, aromatic blend of spices accompanied with mango and plátano maduro. Don't skip dessert. The German Streusel is the original owners recipe and has never left the restaurant - it provides a sweet, satisfying end to the meal. But what truly sets Oliver’s apart is Phil, the general manager. His warmth and engaging conversation make you feel not just like a guest, but a welcomed friend. In a city brimming with dining options, Oliver’s Bistro stands out as a beacon of hospitality and culinary excellence.
This is the best restaurant ever if you want to eat eggs Benedicts. We ate it all over the world including Amsterdam where we ate it on Christmas, and no comparison. This place is highly recommended. Servers are amazing!
An excellent place. I loved. Delicious breakfast options, quite cheap compared to other places in the area, and very well attended. I chose the American breakfast and a coffee with milk. Includes toast, jam, and butter. You must choose if you want bacon or ham. If you are going to have breakfast, be careful not to have lunch.
Oliver's is my go to local restaurant. Cozy atmosphere, perfect outdoor seating, good service, reasonable prices (especially given today's prices) and consistent and excellent quality. Definitely merits a higher rating. A solid 4.8 in my book.
Wow wine Wednesdays are the best at Oliver’s…. Had no idea they have 1/2 off bottles of wines every Wednesday! My local go to any day. 5/5
Honestly this place is fantastic. We came when France was playing the world game so they gave out one free glass of mimosas. Now The service the food the vibe it’s a complete 5* place we even got there earlier than 11 am which is when lunch starts and they were ok with letting us get stuff from the menu. The owners were also great and friendly
Wonderful, amazing place. Anything on the menu, you cannot go wrong. Delicious, 100%. Local, residents and have been enjoying Oliver's on a regular basis for years...and the Dogs love it too (patio of course). Try the Aztec Old Fashioned, L'original ;) LIVE UPDATE: Happy Hour 4-7pm, M-F. Menu attached!
Wonderful, inviting atmosphere and staff. The food was excellent. The BEEF BOURGUIGNON was the best I have ever eaten! The meals were reasonably priced and the portions were spot-on. The Oliver's House salad was huge; could be split between 2-4 people; very fresh and healthy. Also, great overall vibe and outside seating!
From the moment we walked into Oliver's Bistro, we found the service to be outstanding. The casual atmosphere made us feel welcomed, inviting, and comfortable. Loved the ambiance with the beautiful cozy indoor restaurant and outdoor patio. Staff went above and beyond to ensure that all my dietary restrictions were fully achieved. They were all very accommodating, attentive, helpful and knowledgeable. My dietary needs were handled extremely well with attention to detail. A large variety menu to choose from and delicious high quality food. An overall exceptional dining experience, and would highly recommend Oliver's Bistro to anyone with or without dietary issues.
Absolutely love this place. The service is always warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food is consistently amazing. It’s one of those places that makes you feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Truly one of my favorite local spots.
As a 24 year resident of the area, Oliver's Bistro is one of my neighborhood standbys. Management and staff are super friendly. If you haven't had a conversation with Phil, you should. One of the most entertaining and amusing guys in the restaurant biz! Food is solid. I love the Beef Bourguignon and Chicken Marsala among many other dishes. Chicken Marsala comes with a a huge heap of awesome mashed potatoes. Very reasonable prices for the quality. Such a comfortable place and away from the hustle and bustle of the east side of the beach. Highly recommend!
We popped in for lunch recently, and it was a pleasant experience—decent food in a relaxed setting, nothing spectacular but perfectly fine for a midday meal. The place has that chill, neighborhood vibe with outdoor seating under the signature orange umbrellas, which is nice for people-watching without the South Beach chaos. We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze. I ordered the grilled salmon—it was cooked nicely, flaky and fresh, with good seasoning and a side that complemented it well. My wife went for the mushroom truffle flatbread, and it was tasty too—the mushrooms were earthy, the truffle flavor came through without overpowering, and the crust was crisp enough. Portions were solid for lunch. I paired mine with a White Negroni, which was refreshing and hit the spot on a sunny day (their cocktail list has some nice options). Service was friendly and quick enough, though the place was moderately busy. Overall, it's a reliable spot for casual lunch—good quality. I'd return if we're in the area. Solid 4/5.
I ordered the Papardelle Bolognese and my fiancé had one of the Mussels entrees. He enjoyed his dinner and rated it 5 stars. My Bolognese was a bit bland but tasty overall. The service was good. The only thing I didn't enjoy was being seated at the entrance to the kitchen. The staff steps off the floor and relaxes in front of the window into the kitchen, but it takes away from the dining experience, it certainly doesn't elevate the experience. Dessert was the chocolate fondant and it was delicious. The prices were very reasonable for Miami Beach and we will definitely be returning. I look forward to trying the chicken Cordon Bleu and the rack of lamb. We were there on the earlier side on a Friday night in mid September and the dining room was only about 25% full.
Great food! Enjoyed the tuna, chicken cordon bleu was yummy, tiny cozy restaurant
The house have a lot of Italian food, but seems the owner is French. Honestly I don’t like restaurants that have a list of grocers sites as menu ( too many options available) but I asked what is the strongest side of the chef. They told me to try the French dishes, so that’s what I did, I ordered the beef bourguignon and it was good. My only complain was the meshed potato’s, which were pretty bland . Wine and service were excellent
I used to come here more often when I lived on the bay side of the island. Now, I come for a solid quality breakfast in an atmosphere that is pleasant and clean away from the tourist's traps. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food. Two breakfasts: bagel and lox and all American. the other person had a burger and as a connoisseur was pleased. Service was fine with no hiccups. Cesar was pleasant and attentive. I noted that the onions in the onions rings are cut extra thick and too thick for a general likeness and they were the only part of the entire table order that went uneaten. Do go, skip the rings. A Plus Recommends.
A delightful spot on a side street with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. A giant menu offering everything from breakfast to salads, sandwiches and more. While everything was good, nothing was amazing.
Thursday, March 16th @ 10:30am Parking- street parking (I walked) Service was solid. The ambiance is amazing and inviting! I enjoyed my French toast. It was filling, savory, and a great portion size. (Did not photograph) My girlfriend loved her omelette. Be warned, they do not provide A la carte. She wanted a side of a single pancake but was told that she would have to buy the two pancakes and that they don't offer singles. I took away a star because of gnats. I understand live plants are great for the air we breathe but the fact that it attracts gnats is problematic while eating food. There prices on Yelp are not accurate to the menu prices at the restaurant so have that in mind while ordering. Great place to eat while in Miami.
🥂 South Beach classic with chill vibes! Outdoor patio under bright umbrellas makes brunch feel like a mini vacation ☀️🍳 Menu hits from branzino to lobster ravioli, and there’s brunch all day on weekends 🍤🥂 Staff are friendly, outdoor seating is dog‑friendly, and wine deals 🍷 can be legit 💸 Great stop for casual eats near the beach with zero pretension 😎🌴
A short walk from our hotel, we visited for a local weeknight dinner and it did not disappoint. With a long, diverse menu there’s something for everyone. The service was great.
Lugar muy agradable, tiene opción para comer adentro o terraza, buen servicio
El café muy ligero, el desayuno abundante. Precio razonable en Miami
Had lunch there today. I had the Cherasco and french fries, the Cherasco came cooked properly. The meat was soft and the Tresco was extremely small for $37. We got the calamari as an appetizer, very tasteless. My fiancé had the fried chicken sandwich, it was very mediocre. The Diet Coke was six dollars, and they automatically added a 20% gratuity to the check, even though we were only two people. Lunch for two people there was $110 definitely not worth it.
Went for dinner with 2 friends. Food ( chicken milanese ) and service average. Most annoying automatic surcharge are 20% service charge and a 3% credit card surcharge, first I have come across on Miami Beach and we are local. Find this a complete RIPOFF. Won’t be back
I got the experience to come for lunch and the experience was good , but this time I don’t understand why is so hard to put a little more effort in make a good experience , super disappointed , and the one who make this was our server , he never introduce him self ,or explain a little bit about the restaurante or even the menu , there was not SPRITE IN THE HOUSE , Friday is SOBE , festival ? Well that is already a bad sign that the experience is going to super complicated , the food was good , big portions , but the service was terrible , he never come to check on us , juts once to tell if “all good? “Not even offering more drinks, and I never saw the dessert menu , the restaurant by time that we arrive was empty , juts 4 tables , not busy at all , obviously by the time that we finish dinner we want to leave and we ask at list2 of the employees for the check and we have to wait to get it , I don’t think I can see My self back into the restaurant, specially when most of my friend are living in the South Gate , and this is like the only restaurant in front , and be treated like this is super disappointed I hope u can improve this problems , and make a better experience for someone else , and btw I was charge for the service , I couldn’t even denied this option , that was super unfair too
Great location in a quieter South Beach area. Dining experience was mediocre. The food was better. The ambiance was disturbed by a manager (Phil) who started to scream on the top of his lungs, seemingly trying to discipline one of the staff members behind the bar. Not professional at all based on his tone, volume of speech and profanities coming out of his mouth. Definitely not a team leader, zero people skills or emotional intelligence. We were observing him from our table with the rest of customers. He had zero clue and appeared enraged. This incident definitely impacted our willingness to come back. It was embarrassing to watch his coworkers (wait staff) to go around the dining room and apologize to every table for their “manager’s” inappropriate behavior.
Utterly AWFUL for Christmas Eve dinner! The tiny escargots were swimming in grease. You got only 4 scallops for over $40 as one of the holiday specials. The Chicken Marsala was too salty with little indication that Marsala wine was in it. The vegetables were not even cooked. And we rarely saw the waitress the entire time. These are basic restaurant requirements where Oliver’s has clearly declined. We have been going to Oliver’s for over 15 years. WE WILL NOT GO BACK! Sad.
The food was good I ordered waffles, and they were enjoyable. However, the orange juice was disappointing. Given that Miami is known for its fresh and high-quality orange juice, I expected better. Unfortunately, the orange juice here tasted watered down, which took away from the experience. While the service was great, and the atmosphere was pleasant, the overall experience didn’t meet our expectations. It was worth trying once, but my husband and I won’t be returning. ——————— Just got back again after 10 months… give it a try again…This restaurant sucks. Won’t be back permanently. I gave it 3 stars before… coming back again this time with 20% tip already including is RIP OFF!!!!!! Been to lots of restaurants… never I ever have to ask for things twice.. they were not even busy!! This restaurant has the worst service!
20% service charge, 3% credit card charge on top of that, the food was subpar quality and also expensive. 1 pasta, 1 burger-63$
If you come here do not come and sit on the side of the building you will literally get no service. I sat out here because I was working on my laptop and they had a charger. I was seated at 5:57 pm but happy hour was not honored because the server took his precious time coming out, and after I ordered a coffee, I asked about happy hour and he said no he could no do it. He never returned to take my order, so after 30 min I had to go inside and place a food order with manager inside. I came back up outside and waited at the table, for another 30 min server never came by. I finally went in to check on the food, and he got defensive and said “it’s a busy kitchen”. I have worked in food service and this is not the way to treat a paying customer. He then said because I was on my computer and had headphones in is why he didn’t come by, but that was just an excuse. These servers get 20% tip regardless, so sometimes they give very little effort. The food is good here and Phil the manager is nice and professional. Just make sure you a good server as it could ruin your dining experience or in my case, leave hungry.
We went to this neighborhood restaurant for the first time last night. I had pretty normal expectations, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The food lacked flavor, my pasta tasted like it had been microwaved, it was extremely hot but not fresh, and the chicken wasn’t even warm. The burger was dry, and the chicken paillard had no seasoning at all. On top of that, the service charge was already included in the bill, which felt odd considering the overall experience. I usually try to be fair when dining out, but this visit was really underwhelming.
We looked on their reviews so we decided to try because they have amazing reviews. We walked in and told the waiter that we have 2 people in our party. He said sit anywhere we want. We found our table, sat for over 5 minutes and no one acknowledged us when several of them walked by. I sent my husband to go get the menus for us and sat there for few more minutes and still no one come by so we decided to get up and walk away. It makes me wonder how they get such a good reviews when their service is terrible. BTW, they are not at all busy or steady for them not acknowledging us
disgustingly expensive. $12 for four slices of zucchini al dente of course, $10 for a side of white rice. I’ve been a resident of Miami Beach for over 20 years and this pricing is absolutely insane. Don’t forget to add 20% to both of those for service fee
First time here and not impressed. Asked the server for brown sugar and had to ask again when coffee was cold because he forgot. Then everyone gets their order and I got waffles by itself (I ordered chicken and waffles) by the time I got my food right everyone was done eating. And tip included in the bill for mediocre service is very messed up. Food was not that great either. Chicken on the chicken and waffles didn’t have seasoning or salt, very tasteless. I didn’t even ask my party how their food was, after seating there watching everyone eat and your food comes last, last thing you want to do is ask how their food is. Not coming back again.
Pedimos spaguetti y pollo grillado.
