Really good pho!!! I ordered the p.6 small size to go , but I ended up dinning here it was nice and quiet. I asked if I could just dine in the waitress allowed me. The service was nice enough to bring me a bowl very sweet and some water. They also reheated my broth, they didn’t have too but did anyway that’s what really stood out. That’s hospitality. It was delicious! Great portion too, it was just what I needed on a hot summer Miami night 🤭🤭
we sat down, everything just felt right — cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and food that smelled incredible even before it hit the table. We started with the gỏi cuốn (fresh spring rolls), and honestly, they were some of the best I’ve ever had. So fresh, packed with shrimp, lettuce, and herbs, and that peanut sauce? Unreal. I could’ve eaten it by the spoonful. Then came the phở, and it was pure comfort in a bowl. The broth was rich and flavorful — you can tell it’s been simmered for hours. The noodles were soft and the beef was perfectly tender. Every bite just hit the spot. You can really taste the love and effort they put into their food. If you’re looking for a place that serves real, soulful Vietnamese cooking, this is it. I can’t wait to come back!
I have tried pho before and I’ve never liked it, but this place is truly something else. It was very good, fast and nice service. Don’t listen to the other reviews because this place is definitely worth checking out.
Didn’t have much expectations for this place since it didn’t have the typical Asian feel to it. It was more of a sports bar-resto vibe. I ordered the vermicelli rice bowl but asked that the meat be replaced with chicken. The presentation could have been better because the veggies were placed underneath but when I mixd everything together, it was a happy dance in my mouth!!!!!!! It was so good. This is my fave Vietnamese dish so I am very picky but this was impressive.
Finally a great place to enjoy Pho in Miami. Living in California sets a different standard for Pho because of the dense Asian culture. Let me tell you this place is as good as it gets. Great options and several portion sizes to suit everyone’s needs. The broth was tasty the ingredients are fresh , tasty and delicious. 🤤 I recommend this place above other locations in Miami that I won’t name. Very good food very reasonable prices. I will be back.
Actually good pho! love a good comfort soup. They didn’t skimp on the noodles, broth or meatballs which is always so appreciated in this inflation era- the bowl was full and balanced, I finished the large!. We got the pho with brisket, rare beef and meatballs, and the spicy hue soup.
The pho was excellent and super flavorful. The spring rolls were also delicious. Will definitely be coming back for more pho!
Phokaholic - Fresh as Pho! Neighborhood diner (Walters Coffee Shop) now also serving amazing Vietnamese staples for lunch and dinner. We ordered takeout and started with the spicy beef jerky papaya salad (A.7) - super fresh, thinly julienned green papaya, with mint and basil and finished with a sweet and sticky kind of fish sauce, garnished with thin strips of spicy jerky. We also had the grilled pork rolls (A.3) - light and fresh. Then, we had bun - a mound of vermicelli noodles topped with wonderfully tender bbq pork and shrimp on one (S.6), and thin and ultra crispy pork and veggie egg rolls (S.1) on the other. And, beneath the noodles were tons of fresh basil, mint and veggies; served with their house made noc cham and hot sauce, it was perfection. Phokaholic is a gem hidden in plain sight. Plus, the staff couldn't have been any friendlier and more detail oriented, paying extra care and attention to our request for no peanuts. Can't wait to go back!
Loved it here, been here at least 5 times and the service is always exceptional. Love seeing Mercy, Jasmin, & Rem, they always make it a fun experience.
I love pho so much and have been eating it for decades. I have tried many different Vietnamese restaurants. However, the pho here is fantastic! It’s delicious, great portion size, great prices, and the customer service is wonderful. They also sell boba tea! So happy that they opened a spot closer to my area. I’m a regular customer now 👌🏽
Super yummy pho and spring rolls! Broth was so tasty. I ordered a boba milk tea and it was a little bit too milky for my liking but good nevertheless. I’m definitely coming back here :)
The food was absolutely incredible, I highly recommend the oxtail on the side as well as the pho With steak and meatballs. Super flavorful five star ingredients. Make sure to ask for Amy when you come, she makes you feel absolutely at home.
First time having PHO at a restaurant and this place is amazing! The PHO was so delicious and also had the grilled pork rolls . Very fresh, tasty and delicious. Tai was so nice and very helpful ! Would definitely come by again and recommend this place 100% .
The pho special is delicious. The soup taste authentic and warms up my heart especially on an empty stomach. . The place has two menus, Vietnamese cuisine and American dining.
The food and service was amazing! The food was really good, we are definitely coming back. Thank you Mercy for the wonderful service, you are the best!!
Mercy, Mercy, Mercy what a gem. She was so helpful and sweet. Truly wonderful service. Also big shoutout to the cook, REM THE PHO is great.
I've been to 5 different Pho joints in a relative proximity to this one. PhoKoholic is my favorite so far. That being said, all the others were also amazing. So if you like Pho, come here. If you don't, you're a heathen.
Guys! This is a hidden gem in the area! This is a must try pho soup place. Everything is amazing, the place, the quality, the food, the ambiance, but the best of all is the people that work here. Definitely, my husband and I have found the best pho soup place in town!!
New place, same restaurant as Walter's. Soup base is delicious. They definitely serve more protein than other places in the phô. Will definitely come back!
Absolutely delicious. It's a quirky place - diner in the morning and delicious pho in the evening. Staff is super nice and answered all my questions. We will definitely be back.
My friend and I have tried every pho restaurant in Miami and this is by far #1 on our list. Its inside Walters diner but have met the owner of phokaholic and he’s a very nice man. Best pho and excellent service, so happy they opened up.
Food is great and nice chill enviroment!
Pho was actually delicious, found a spot close to home. Mercy and Rem were lovely as well.
The workers are very kind and they gave us extra noodles on the house. Everyone should go and support. Jasmine was very sweet and gave us free eggrolls.
I ordered the large chicken pho! It was incredible 😋😋😋 Our hostess Amy was absolutely amazing and even serenaded us with her beautiful voice!
The phỏ was hot and ready to eat! It was so good and I enjoyed the ambiance that the restaurant gave at night. 10/10!!
Great food and great service! Mercy was lovely and makes you feel like you’re dining at home - in the best way possible.
Jasmine, Mercy, and Rem were so friendly and caring! I love the service here and the food is great.
Mercy and Rem made our experience just as great as the food was! The pho was some of the best my girlfriend and I have ever had. 10/10 recommend !
Reviews are on point. This place has pho-licious food. I ordered the P.18 House special oxtail noodle soup and it was so good. As described in other comments the portions are fair and plentiful, and the flavor is savory. My fiancée ordered P.17 House special beef short rib noodle soup and it was phenomenal. Additionally, the owner kindly surprised each of us with a complimentary Vietnamese coffee. We will definitely be coming back.
Yay for a new Pho place! My daughter tried Pho for the first time and liked it. She said the meat (clean brisket) was amazing. The vietnamese crepe was delicious, though a bit expensive. Service was a little slower than expected, but the waitstaff was very nice and helpful. Would recommend it.
best of the best in miami. would recommend brisket in pho. So good.
Update: I've been coming here frequently for months for both takeout and dine-in and the pho is always amazinng. Easily best pho in Miami! Definitely better than Pho 79 (sorry, Pho 79)! Their Thai milk tea is also great! Very creamy. I also love their rice noodle vermicelli bowls! Yum yum yum yum. The atmosphere is always really quiet and pleasant when I come in. I love that there is no loud music. I can just sit and enjoy my meal in peace! ❤️🤗 ~~~~~~~~ old review: I've picked up here a few times and their staff is friendly and the food is very good! I like the pho, Thai thea, and vermicelli rice bowls. They also offer American food options and boba milk drinks. If you order takeout, when you pick up your order, double check that everything is included. Last time, they forgot our drinks and we had to drive back. They were very friendly and apologetic about it. Will be back for sure. At least currently, you can only order takeout through their website, not delivery, which works for us. Their website is easy to use to create and pay for an online order and the order is done pretty fast. The menu items on their online ordering platform sometimes lack a description. I would like to request/suggest 2 things: (1) add a Vietnamese barbecue beef vermicelli bowl to the menu (just like the pork bowls, but beef). (2) On the website, upload a PDF of the full menu for guests who want to just look at the menu but who do not want to use the online ordering interface. That way they can see the restaurant menu formatted as it appears in-person. Prices are a little high, but I assume they are only as high as required to stay in business. Currently, the prices seem comparable to *Pho 79 Pinecrest, or slightly higher. *Another local Vietnamese restaurant.
Best Pho in South Dade.Delicious and the appetizers are a meal all by themselves. We ordered small Phos and they were quite enough to fill us up but so full of flavor. I can't imagine how big the larges are. This is a must try and the food is not.oily at all, very clean.
Wonderful. we had a great surprise when we went here not knowing that Walters Restaurant had paired up with PhoKaholic. Such a smart concept, if you ask me - traditional American eats in the morning and yummy Vietnamese thereafter. The food was so delicious and the service on point. We ordered the pho soup with vegetables, a separate plate of the grilled pork chop that comes with rice and a fried egg, and a bowl of noodles with grilled shrimp and grilled pork that also came with various vegetables and an egg roll chopped up. The picture are attached. It’s a family operated business so you know care gets put into the dishes. Can’t wait to go back!
Jasmine was amazing and on point with her service. Food was exceptional for my first time visit out of town. Definitely will be back again!
Lovely new restaurant. The owner is Tai very nice (nice big smile) and a very hard worker, never stop moving and takes pride in his business. A lot of menu items. I had the spring rolls and fish sauce chicken wings big portions and all the soups smelt amazing.
Rem & Mercy we’re great and attentive! They always have great food and service here! My go to spot when I’m craving a good bowl of Pho!
Finally a good place to get some Pho in Cutler Bay. Ordered on their website but when my husband arrived, they mention our order never went through, even though the payment did. Manager apologized profusely and told him they’d make his order asap, which they did. They did not disappoint! My husband had the P.1 and I had the P.2 and man it was sooo good. It was so flavorful and they did not skimp on the meat. We also ordered the egg rolls which were more like spring rolls with meat, but still delicious. Oh and I also ordered a taro milk tea for dessert and again, absolutely amazing and fillllllled with tapioca balls! Can’t wait to be in the mood for Pho again!
The Pho was absolutely amazing! Tai & Suly were so incredibly sweet and both share amazing customer service skills! Thank you so much for our amazing meal last night, we will definitely be returning ! <3
This was my first time having Pho and I really enjoyed it. I was unaware that the raw beef pho truly arrives raw-and then you cook it in the steaming delicious broth. It was awesome and I will be back. Thank you
Alicia was a fantastic helper, brought me the menu and water immediately. I ordered the P1 Pho and the Short Rib and it was all delicious! Excellent service
For 4 years we've been looking for good Pho restaurant in South Florida near Miami. We found it! Favulous, rich, delicious broth! Generous portions and great vermacelli summer rolls. It's worth the drive from the Lower Keys! YUM!!!
I love this place! The food is really good and fresh. The service is great. Mercy and rem were very nice and accommodating. Highly recommend!
Mercy and Rem gave excellent service and were so kind! The food was delicious and we even had enough food for leftovers. Would recommend!
One of the best pho broths I ever had, aromatic and the beef was super tender. Boba was very yummy. Good selections and options. Highly recommend and I will be making this a frequent stop on my visits
I’m really excited to have a new pho place near my house! Went here for dinner and had rare beef pho and Vietnamese crepe that were both really good, I especially appreciated how nice the broth was! Will definitely be coming back.
I was so excited to see a pho restaurant in Palmetto Bay! I came today to try it out and let me tell you they did not disappoint. Great service and delicious pho! Can't wait to come back.
Delicious. I absolutely want to come back and try more of the menu. PhoKaholic is easy to get to off of US1, with plenty of parking. Very clean, quality service.
So glad to have a great Pho restaurant in the area. The service was great by Mercy and Rem did an amazing job cooking the Pho and pork spring rolls.
Omg let me tell you. This restaurant is amazing. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a smile and a very welcoming tone of voice. We were immediately sat and promptly given drinks. Our server mercy was amazing. So kind and knowledgeable about the menu. The entire experience was great and will definitely be coming back. Thank you mercy for an amazing dining experience! Make sure to ask for her.
We stopped here for a late lunch, and on the way, our baby got carsick. When we arrived, we needed some water to clean her up in the parking lot, and the staff—especially our waiter—were incredibly kind and helpful. They brought us warm water without hesitation and even checked to see if we needed more. That thoughtfulness really stood out. On top of the great service, the food was delicious! The Bun Bo Hue was especially flavorful and satisfying. Highly recommend this spot—not just for the food, but for the caring people too!
BEST pho I've had in Florida! Delicious beef bone broth packed with traditional Vietnamese flavors. Loved that they had all the sauces like chili oil, and fish sauce. What tops it all off is the amazing customer service. Will be back again soon. HIGHLY recommend!
Very satisfied with the service. Rem was our waitress for the night. She was very attentive. Also, Mercy is a very welcoming hostess, super easy going! Definitely recommend the egg rolls as well!
Amazing food, 3rd pho place I’ve had in Miami and I think it might be my favorite so far! Definitely recommend, amazing service from Mercy our host and Rem our server! Will be coming back sooner than later!
Food was delicious! My family family and I got the pho ga and the spring rolls. Jasmine and Mercy were super attentive and provided great service. We will definitely be coming back for more.
Everyone who served us from the our waitress Christine, our hostess Mercy and Amy were all very pleasant and helpful. The Pho was very tasty. The broth flavorful. Will definitely recommend and come back. A true gem!
I was advised to visit this place, and it exceeded all my expectations! Jasmine assisted me during my first pho experience, expertly guiding me through the menu. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient with my lack of pho experience. A big thank you to Jasmine and the rest of the wonderful team for making my first visit so memorable! This will be my official pho spot! I wholeheartedly recommend this spot to everyone. You won't be disappointed!
The food is great, the service is hit and miss. The first time I went there it was fast and friendly. The last time the waiter tried to tell me how the dish I get every time I got here is supposed to be served( wrong of course) and had to get it back. The pho is great for a cold or soul food time
This place is inside the Walter’s Diner, it’s the merge of both restaurants. My family and I go here often to have the P1 and S7 meals, amongst other options. We’ve been to Vietnam and it’s honestly this place is as authentic and fresh as it comes. The owner is super nice and greets us every time making recommendations and going out of his way to talk to us and ask us about our experience. If your looking for authentic Vietnamese food, look no further! By the way ask for the fried dried onions for the soup, AMAZING! For dessert have an iced Vietnamese coffee! You won’t regret it!
Mercy, Jasmine & Ren were working tonight. We had the Pho. Chicken wings and fries. All the food was delicious and the fries were nice and crispy. Our server Mercy was great. Will be back!
Great food, great staff. I highly recommend.
Mercy and Jazmin were very nice and attentive. The food came out fast and it was delicious. We ordered a large bowl of Pho, vermicelli bowl and spring rolls. Everything was great
Across many visits, the Pho is great every time, we love getting the rare steak Pho and adding crispy fat, you won’t be sorry. Shea was our server and she was very attentive and friendly.
Absolutely fantastic experience at PhoKaholic! The Pho is delicious and authentic, truly reminiscent of what you'd find in Vietnam. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, making it a perfect spot Pho a cozy meal. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Highly recommend Pho anyone craving a genuine Pho experience in Florida! P/s: even their pandan leaf waffles with shredded coconut is genuinely flavorful.
We knew coming here there were two restaurants in one: Walter’s and Phokaholic. Originally was here for breakfast though and Walter’s was closed by 3pm, but we settled for Vietnamese food. Amazingly, the pho broth was tasteful and they did not skimp with the vermicelli bowls. Oh! Cafe Sửa Da was so good! We’d come back for sure.
Service was friendly, food was delicious, atmosphere was nice. This spot feels hidden gem due to it's location but definitely worth a try. The banh mi is also better than I've had at other places.
One of the best Pho dishes I've ever had. I brought my mom, who is a very picky older Cuban woman who rarely explores beyond her own cuisine, and she was floored. The flavors were out of this world. We also had the egg rolls. They're made fresh to order, are super crispy, and not greasy. I can't say enough about this place. I'll be back for sure. 💗🍜
Started with some great appetizers Beef Roll and Calamari . The Pho was delicious that broth was on point ! the portions where big and the service was Great ! Definitely going back
Podría comérmelo a cucharadas.
This is very unusual restaurant where 2 different amd different name restaurant and different kinds of foods are under one . In the early morning hours around 7am - 2 pm the serve american diner style breakfast and lunch but from 11am around 930pm. They are operating and servicing authentic Vietnamese food. They claimed it was cooked by a Vietnamese person but never seen any Vietnamese people because the front of the house staff are mostly Chinese or etc. Who does not speak Vietnamese. Might be a turn off or will scare some old school Vietnamese people to think it is americanized Vietnamese food. The pho here is good . Especially the pho big ribs or pho oxtail. The portions are huge because it comes with most of the combinations pho meats also. Unless you have not eaten all day or have e big appetite. You should share it or else you will not be able to finish it. Trust me. I have eaten pho big ribs or pho oxtail in many locations. Usually only comes with big beef ribs or oxtail only without any other meats in it. This place gives you alot of meats and the broth is good also. Only small things here is the style of cophstick they give you here. It is not cheap but for the price you get alot of meats
Food was pretty good had beef pho and shrimp. My waitress for Walter's help me and she was very nice. The only improvement needed is service of the Phokaholic Staff. Their service needs to be better when welcoming guests and attend them when seated.
There's nobody that greets customers. Our server have is the menu, started preparing some spicy oil on the tables, gave us water after 10 minutes, food was eventually served. I ordered #3, it had steak, brisket, meatball, tripe. The steak was overcooked, pale, dry, leather texture but very delicious
The service was pretty bad we got there and we’re just waiting a a while then finally one of the servers came, that took another while as well. The pho was small and overpriced and the chicken wings were as well. I was so excited to try that place and was so disappointed .
Breakfast spot for locals/Pho restaurant by night? I guess rent is getting too expensive for restaurants in Miami. We went shortly after they opened, hope the kitchen has worked out some of the kinks.
I was very disappointed with the bun bo hue. It was basically flavorless except for the congealed pigs blood (yeah they don’t put that part on the menu), which I promptly removed. Without the pigs blood, which has a very poopy smell, the broth tasted like a weak tea with a little bit of spiciness. I threw in all the extras, some hoisin sauce and even soy sauce and I could not get it to taste like anything except those exact things I threw in. Would not order again. The spring rolls were good and a generous portion for the money. The service was great and I was a bit surprised to see that this place is basically inside Walter’s Coffee Shop.
The restaurant atmosphere was pretty alright! Looks like the previous establishment was a bar so plenty of TVs and dining area. The service was a bit lackluster as the staff were sitting around in booths much farther from where everyone else was dining and on their phones so it was difficult to get their attention a second time for checks. Lastly, the food was alright. I’m not too sure why the rating at this place is as high as it is, but perhaps the quality of the food changes depending on the time. I came in later at night two hours before closing and ordered the beef pho and Thai milk tea with boba, neither of which was stellar. The pho broth lacked the depth of flavor that it should have; the beef was discolored which means it was cooked long ago, oxidized and was reheated in the broth many hours after it was cooked; the beef is usually served rare in hot broth, which slowly cooks it, but this beef was way overcooked and not tender anymore; and the Thai milk tea tasted like water with artificial sweetener. These are all familiar food items I’ve had in other cities and restaurants, and this restaurant has potential if they put more care to the quality of the ingredients. I wouldn’t mind paying more for better food, but at this price point, I would have expected something better.
the food was great. Got a Taro boba but I don’t think it was mixed/shaken all the way. I could taste a slight powder in it. Either way it was still delicious! However, the service was not great. Took a while to get our order taken, and then she never came back. Had to get up and ask her for our check almost 30 minutes after we finished. On top of that, there was an issue with another guest they had and they were arguing and yelling the staff and at each other across the restaurant. Very uncomfortable while we waited for our check. You never know what people are capable of so it was a very uneasy feeling. I read the reviews before we came and was super excited to dine in but was highly disappointed at this experience. I’m guessing our server was not jasmine that everyone else is praising lol
Staff has zero personality, cafe sua da is not true, its fake and artificial flavor, vegetable plate for pho is tiny, not enough. Crispy egg rolls have no flavor. Gratuity is 20% added in automatically, service was NOT great. Pho was good. Cold egg rolls good
The ratings are inflated. The pho bo is terrible. The waiter stuck his fingers in the soup when he served it. The drinks smell like powder. reply to your reply. what a lie. you spilled one soup and didn't offer a replacement, no need to lie. and when you served the other soup to the child you stuck your fingers in it. lie after lie
Horrible service. Horrible portions. Horrible attitude. Horrible mandatory 20 percent tip. DO NOT COME EVER!!!
I recently dined and was extremely disappointed. I truly believe the reviews are inflated. I dined in Monday May 26 at 7pm with my family. The service was unprofessional, the food was not good, and to make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to the bill despite the horrible experience. The waitress was inattentive, alway on her phone. We had to keep getting up to ask for help, seemed uninterested in providing even basic customer service. My daughters food was cold, the pho was not hot and watered down. This was a great place when it opened the owner was made sure everything was on point, sucks it made a turn for the worst. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. Definitely not spending my money there again! Review your tips with the Pho staff they will add on! Thank you to Sergio's staff for looking into this!
We call to place a simple order. They put us on hold for over an half hour. We hang up decided to go inside to place an order. There were only a few tables. A woman greeted me after another 20 minutes to take my order and I told her I wanted to place an order for pho and some egg rolls. It took almost another half hour. When I got my pho the broth was bland the beef was sliced super thin probably to save cost and tasted like dish soap! Nasty! I have had thousands of pho since I was a kid. The egg rolls were a joke. You get three skimpy little ones that barely had any filling and had a funky and not fresh taste to them. I threw away more than half my food and ordered somewhere else. My Dog smelled the food and he walked away! Terrible I would not recommend to a friend even if It was my worst enemy. From service to food top to bottom a joke.
I don't recommend this Vietnamese restaurant; the service was terrible. The waitress's attitude made me wonder if I owed her money. One thing's for sure, I won't be wasting my money there again.
Waited in there like an hour to get and all we got was drinks service us terrible hardly no staff working ,the one waitress is dressed like she is hanging out at home and not at work. Absolutely terrible service never even got to try the food to say weather is good or bad. Never coming back again
We went here because the review score was 4.8. It was a huge disappointment. Don't get the XL size — they give you a L but just in a bigger bowl. Service is awful. The server does not care about the customers at all. When I walked up to her to get her attention because we had been waiting for a while to get our check, she started pointing her finger at me and told me to sit down. After she gave me the check she went away again and I had to get up again to get her attention. She then pointed her finger at me again and told me to sit down. This place is in business apparently only because it is the only pho place around. Otherwise it would not survive because it's just an awful mess all around. Especially for people from out of town I would not recommend coming here at all because you will for sure be disappointed and you'll be wasting your money here. Also the food is just meh. The meat has a weird smell. And they give you the tiniest portion of the bean sprouts. No thank you. We will not be coming here ever again.
Place wasnt bad. Food was ok, they gave a lot of noodles which I like but they double charged me. I don't know if it was a accident or intentional but because of being charged twice I will give 1*.
The food is good but the service is terrible. I waited an hour for the food , I had to end up leaving because I couldn’t wait any longer. They literally don’t give a damn. The waitress never even checked the table. Never going there again.
La comida pudo estar mejor si tuviera la temperatura adecuada, pero como estaban tan entretenidos viendo el deporte en el teléfono fue un desastre...
