I grew up in Midland 45 years ago when there was only one Texas Burger location. They have grown and succeeded by continuing to provide quality food and a great dining experience. I visit every time I am back in Midland and love the experience

Great old fashion style burgers. Great staff. Usually very clean. Store seems to be setup well for the traffic there. Cookies, ice cream, and other meals are also pretty good. Pretty good eating and service for a fast food restaurant. Thanks Texas Burger.

There's a lot if places that make good burgers, only a couple that make great burgers. But only 1 can be THE BEST......THIS IS THE BEST BURGER HANDS DOWN . A little bit slow in the back, but it was super busy. You forget about all that when you take a bite. Do yourself a favor if you've never had one.

Texas Burger is a favorite spot since childhood. The food is always good and you can't beat the ice cream. It's made in-house and the verity of flavors is over the top. The cookies (also made in-house) are so delicious. My go-to mene item is the double double jalapeno burger. It is the absolute bomb. Best of any place I've ever eaten. And it's so big I cut it in 1/2 so I get 2 meals from it. Yum yum! The Hwy. 191 location is large and clean. The staff is friendly and responsive. As always Texas Burger is worth the price!

We had an issue with our order and Damaris Made it right. Mistake are going to happen, it's how they manage it after they do that counts. I really appreciated her profesionalism and will continue to get texas burger about once a week. If your Interested in trying something different, I really like the double meat, double cheese, plain and dry with grilled onions and grilled jalapeños. Oh and try the strawberry cheesecake icecream.

First time to Texas Burger and it didn't disappoint. The double with cheese was phenomenal, really hit the spot. It was so fresh and well made. Really worth the money spent. The service here is very impressive too, they have several employees cleaning and all registers open with employees available to take your order. Great service and great food, that's a winning combination. I will be back often.

Best burgers in Midland, hands down. Not too thin, not too thick, just right. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, all the way, and was blown away. Cooked perfectly, and the buns were toasted just right. The bacon cheese fries are a solid option as well. As you can see in the pictures below, the large is enough for 4-5 people easy. Onion rings were coated perfectly as well. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch!

It was wonderful! Haven't had it in awhile. Was not disappointed! I was greeted by the sweet cashier! My food was served quickly to me! There were much larger orders in front of me so I was surprised with how fast I got mine! One worker was cleaning the windows and soda station love that! And my chili cheese dog was made correctly! Yum! I want another one now. Burger was large, hot and fresh. The bun was toasted and was accompanied by a pepper. Milkshake was ultra good and chocolate chip cookie was soft and moist. Only downside is that everything is a la carte and no combos outside of putting one together which saves 40 cents. I wanted to try the strawberry cheesecake ice cream which everyone says is great but it contains red dye #40 so I had to pass. Fortunately, the banana nut was there to please my taste buds.

Eh, It was good. Wanted something quick while avoiding the chain fast food places and sure the drive through was quick. I got a double cheeseburger with spicy fries and a chilli cheese dog. Chilli cheese dog was okay. Felt like there could have been more flavor from the Chilli. Same thought with the burger. It was good, just needed more seasoning. The spicy fries of course weren't spicy but looked like they would have been. Again, decent. Nothing spectacular though. May give it another try next time I'm in town wanting something quick.

The food is great but if you are a young girl don’t go in there alone. One of the cashiers (frank) will ask if your single even if you say you are married he consistently ask if you want to go to the movies with him. Then he insist that you take his number. Then every time since then he stares at me. I love there food but he just makes me uncomfortable every time and I loose my appetite and I have to go through the drive thru just to be able to get food and actually eat it. Every girl over here at mighty wash has had the same problem with him and we have to grab one of the guys to go with us just to get him not to bother us. First of all I grew up in west Texas area until I was a teen and the occasional visited west Texas so how did I not eat at a Texas Burger or even know it existed until 2019?!?!? It’s definitely got a DQ vibe but on a larger scale with a slightly less fast food vibe to it even though it’s definitely fast food. (Menu has a wider selection in my opinion) The food was delicious however it was super busy and came with a fairly decent wait for food. After our meal I took my kids to the ice cream counter to order and was a little annoyed at the time it took someone to take our order as it seemed like they didn’t have staff dedicated to drive thru only and dining room only. He seemed rushed or irritated when I asked questions but it was our first time. Sorry kid🤷🏻‍♀️ After placing our order we stood there waiting for quite a while and watched several drive thru orders go out as well as a couple of dining room orders. After about 10-15 minutes I approached the counter and asked how much longer it would take to get three single scoop ice creams. He asked for our number and then pulled them out of the edge of the freezer. 😑 It would have been nice if they would have stated something like please come back with your number when you’re ready for them OR would you like these now? Or maybe just notice the fact that we had been standing there waiting all that time. Oh well... Overall good food, good ice cream. I cant fairly judge the cleanliness of the restaurant as it was super busy and hard to find an empty and the few that were probably being cleaned quickly as possible. I did see employees wearing gloves when handling food and changing them after handling money. Worst thing I saw was scoop of ice cream hit the countertop where ice cream prep was being done and it was scooped up and put into the dish. 🧐 Overall decent and would recommend. I would probably eat at a Texas Burger again.

The food has gotten a bit of a hit or miss lately. Even when I choose to dine in I have to double check my order because they have left something out the last time I have eaten there. Once when I order steak fingers they only put one strip in the order. 🤷 The tenured employees are fantastic and take care of things but the newer hires seem to be in their own little world sometimes, and I not speaking of ones in training. The store is always clean and kept up and the speed of service is always quick. I have seriously contemplated going to the Wadley even though it is quite a bit out of my way since the food and staff has always been outstanding.

Little chaotic in there however not there fault for being busy but the people they have working there need to be trained better to know what they are selling so when a customer asks they can explain being that it's a oilfield town alot of us never seen a Texas burger so we. Would not understand what something are or what they offer thanks 7/10 recommend

First time trying Texas Burger and I have to admit I'm really unimpressed. Looked great, and the place was clean and had nice atmosphere but the burger was definitely lacking. The burger patties were dry and underseasoned. I'm going to give the onion rings the full 5 stars nonetheless. Crisp, perfectly battered, and tasted like the mother of all onion rings👍

I went a couple of weeks ago and got the Double Texas Cheeseburger with Jalapeños. When I got home and opened my burger, I noticed they forgot to put Jalapeños in my burger. I called the restaurant and let them know my order was incomplete. I spoke to Kevin, who was nice, and offered me to remake my order without any hesitation. He informed me that I could go in anytime I wanted to pick up my remake order. We'll I went back and they were quick to get that remake done for me. The only downfall was they only gave me a single patty when I originally had a double burger. I didn't want to go back and complain again, but for future reference, please check your orders before leaving because it might not be what you ordered.

Stopped by to get a couple of banana splits, our number came up on the TV screen but our banana splits were ready. When we got our banana splits the ice cream was melted and they forgot the peanuts, which they quickly fixed. The only thing I didn't like was while I was waiting for my banana splits, I saw some burgers sitting on the cold counter, then saw a worker put on some gloves, put some burger patties on the grill and then with the same gloves pick up the burgers on the counter a bagged them. I wonder how many times they've done that with my burgers?

I came on a Saturday evening through the drive thru with my best friend. We only ordered 2 medium shakes, a banana nut and a butter pecan, both with bananas added. -1 star for the ridiculous wait time. I understand it is a driver thru and it takes time to make the food for the people in front of us. That was not the issue. It was the fact I was already at the window, paid, had received a spoon(yes just 1), 2 shake straws, and no napkins. We were than told it would be a little longer until our shakes were ready. Well it was about 4 minutes later (we were watching YouTube videos while waiting in line, hence we know the time we were waiting). So all that time for 2 medium shakes. If a long wait was the worst part of this experience, I would have rated 4/5 stars and moved on with my life without writing this novel. But, unfortunately there is more. -1 When we received our shakes, the employee who brought/made them asked her co-worker at the window if they were all that went out, and if it went out to my car. After she was prompted it was, she opened the window and handed them both to me. I asked which is banana nut, and which is butter pecan. She said she didn't know. Not did she attempt to find out. Her initial reaction was shocked/surprised when I asked her. This leads me up to my next point. -1 Not what we ordered. I think the employee looked shocked because she made 2 of the same and realized they were supposed to be different only when I asked. As we drove away into the road, my friend opened the lids to see which was which. He then tasted both because both smelled the same. The tasted the same. Then I tasted both. They tasted the same. They both tasted like the banana nut, and may or may not have had the additional banana to them. To be honest I doubt it. Portion wise, I understand that this type of drink cannot be filled to the brim. But I expected at most a half inch to an inch below the brim. One of ours was in that range, the other was short by about 2-2.5". +2 Flavor was really great. The texture was also very nice. Overall the drive thru/window time was too long. The employee could not give us our older with certainty or accuracy, and we didn't even get our order correct. The one good thing is that the shakes were good. So no problems with food quality. *Also* our receipt shows our order correctly, so I know it wasn't an ordering issue.

The little girls need to learn how to make a strawberry sundae you just don't put the toppings on top and that's it you got to put the strawberries syrup on the bottom as well instead of just plain vanilla but the other service was fine can't mess up a hamburger it's always good

Service was quick, place was fairly clean, however the burger was DRY almost no veggies, no condiments while the fries were tasteless. Too many other places to eat to waste my money on cardboard food. This will be second and last time here.

I ordered the shrimp dinner, first they forgot the texas toast and I had to go up and request it, then wait while they made it.... okay at least it was fresh. I sit and eat the salad and my toast. The first piece of shrimp I pick up felt raw, the breading was gooey and the shrimp was grey in color. I took the entire plate back up and showed the girl it was raw. She took the plate back to the young man who cooked it and he removed the shrimp from the plate. Girl comes back and says they will remake the order. I said no need, just the shrimp. I had eaten parts of the other stuff. She said she would bring it out to me. A short time later here she arrived with 5 pieces of well done over cooked shrimp. My guess is they took what I had taken up there and put it back in the fryer. I took the burnt shrimp back up to the manager and told her what had gone on and to just keep it, not remake anything. I was going to finish my fried and just leave. A few moments later here comes the manager with money and a receipt.... I told her to keep the money, I didn't complain just to be a jerk. They deliberately burnt my stuff because I brought it back. Customer service training should be at the top of the list. I am not the kind to eat half my meal and then complain to get my money back. You keep the money, I won't come here again.

The quality just keeps going down here. Don't ask for anything special, especially in ice cream. They will be passive aggressive and not put any toppings on your ice cream and not blend your milkshake.

This was my first time ever eating here. I am from Arkansas also obviously they do not have Texas burger there. Was not very impressed with it the burgers on the menu say Angus beef it tastes very much like Sonic burger patties.. I ordered spicy fries with mine They taste just like regular fries so I don't think they got that right. We also ordered a chili cheese dog and they forgot the chili.... So at least to say very not impressed for my first time at this place probably will not be going again.

I had high hopes but the steak fingers was almost embarrassing that they served them this way. About as big around as my index finger and just a bit longer....and you get 4 of them. I paid $11 for that and a regular drink.

I went through drive-thru a girl named kalaigh? Idk if that's right, was at window, she hands me my drinks and I give her my card, the only thing she says to me is "can you pull up next to that white truck", she was so rude! Then another girl brings me my food, I roll down my window and she doesn't say a word to me either! I was like " thank you!" I've never experienced such bad customer experience before! I then call the store and the manager tells me that the girl at the window is training, and that she would talk to them, honestly it didn't feel like she took it seriously. Will not be returning back to this location. Which is sad, because most Bobby Cox business's usually succeed my expectations!

Friendly staff. Burgers were not as good as the last time my husband and I were in there about 6 months ago. Swiss cheese was hard. Very few fries in a regular order. Burger was kinda pink. Vanilla Ice cream was good. I wanted a toasted bun that didn't happen. Disappointed in paying 20 bucks for two subpar meals and an ice cream cone. Napkins were stuffed so full in the dispenser they just kept ripping to shreds, finally tipped over the dispenser try to get a single napkin.

Service was great, but the food is absolute trash. Steak fingers look like deep fried hamburger meat, the Texas toast had no type of flavor, the fries had no salt and were soggy and the “salad” was 4 pieces of lettuce with a sliced tomato. 1/10. Won’t be back unfortunately.

The last 4-5 burgers I've gotten here had stale bottom buns. Today I went back for the first time and asked for a remake. The burger they returned to me looked like it was purposefully dragged through every black greasy spot on the flat top on purpose. It was disgusting, 2 inedible burgers in <20 minutes. Last time i eat here.

Please advise employees to not scream when people are trying to order. Gentlemen in the back was straight screaming to the point where I couldn't hear the cashier.

Way over priced and the meat patty was so thin it’s hard to see it in between the trimmings. I won’t be going here again, you get a better burger for cheaper at Braums and that’s not saying much. The fries are typical frozen garbage.

First time to eat here. I ordered a hamburger with mayo, lettuce and onion only and wanted to dine in. When they called my number I went to pick up my order and it was in a to-go bag. I took my food and left. When I got to my hotel and opened up my burger it was nothing like I ordered. It had mustard with pickles and cheese. First to visit this restaurant and it will be the last.

I came here for dinner and ordered a sundae with no nuts and when I got it it had nuts. I went to the counter and told them and I overheard the worker say just scrap it off the top and put whipped cream….so now I have half a sundae and a bunch of whipped cream!

Worst burgers I've had in a very long time. Overcooked thin single patty on a flavorless bun. Fries too thick and not cooked. Onion rings not crispy. Apparently the gravy was decent. There's just no excuse for bad burgers like this. If you can't beat McDonald's then you should close.

We came through the drive through around 10:15 to order food after driving all day. When we got home, we were in the middle of eating and pulled a long gray hair out of the middle of a chicken strip. Nobody in our home has gray hair, much less hair that is as long as what we pulled out. I usually don’t have issues with this location but that is absolutely not okay.

Super disappointed in Midland. Cashier was aggravated when we walked in at 830pm after Black Friday shopping and he got my order completely wrong. I ordered a steak finger basket and he gave me chicken. Crazy …because the Texas Burger in College Station is our favorite first pick. Definitely won’t be back to Midland restaurant.

TL;DR: Food sat on the counter while everyone else had orders brought to them. Fries and burgers were cold, but we stayed polite. The cashier apologized and tried to fix it — the manager, Damaris Vega, showed zero professionalism, blamed us, and caused a scene instead of helping. Staff was great. Manager was the real issue. Needs upper management attention. ——— We’re very understanding customers — we know mistakes happen. Our issue wasn’t with the mix-up, it was entirely with how the manager handled it. We ordered 3 burgers and fries in a not-at-all busy restaurant. While other tables were getting their food delivered — even single orders like fries — we sat waiting. After 20 minutes, we checked and found our food sitting at the counter the whole time. It was cold, missing a side, and not what you expect when others are getting full service. Still, we stayed polite. We calmly let the cashier know, and he apologized, admitted the order should’ve been brought out, and kindly remade the food. Great response. Then the manager, Damaris Vega, came over — not to help, but to argue. She was defensive from the start, telling us burgers “are always hot” since they’re made to order and blaming us for not picking up the order sooner — even though that wasn’t the system for anyone else. She questioned if the food was really cold, asked why we ate it if it was, and kept interrupting. For context: our young son was starving and started eating his immediately, and we took a few bites before realizing how cold it was — then stopped and asked for help.
