Friends recommended this place to us, and we were very pleased! I came here with my family and we mainly tried the risotto with ossobuco, which everyone loved! Perfectly cooked and very tender meat! The other dishes were also very good! We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

We arrived expecting a nice Florentine steak, but once we were seated, they told us they were out of stock. To make up for it, they very kindly offered us a tomahawk rib eye, with fillet on the side, at the same price. The cuisine was refined, with exceptional sides and wine.

It was my first time there, absolutely positive and highly recommended for a business lunch. The freshly made desserts were excellent. The staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was inviting and warm. I'll be back for dinner.

My boyfriend and I moseyed our way up the street for our anniversary dinner. Melara is an authentic Italian (specifically Malanese) restaurant on one of the main streets outside of the city. The Waitress that helped us was very kind and attentive and I must note that her English was very fluent! Upon arrival, we were seated promptly! We made a same-day reservation! It was just wonderful, a very romantic little spot, "hidden gem" we stayed for. I have to say around 2 hours right up until they closed. There was another young couple that came in near the end of our meal and they sat and had dessert. I could tell that they were local. The atmosphere was wonderful. Soft music and lighting made for a romantic evening. Oh and the food it was really great. We started off with bread and homemade butter, there were three flavors. One was strawberry. The other was saffron and the other was something else and all three were just delicious and creamy and dreamy. We had a cheese platter. Kind of thing. Almost like a charcuterie board but elevated. Jam figs and fried gnocchi!? Yum! Anyway, I don't want to bore you with too much information, so please see the photos for more details on the food. We left happy and full 🥰

Every time I go to Melara, I feel right at home: pampered, cared for, and I eat as well as I do at home! The place is very warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly, kind, attentive, and capable. The dishes are all delicious: beautifully presented and made only with excellent raw materials that are treated admirably! Their platter is AMAZING, carefully presented, with excellent products and perfectly thought-out pairings! Another note of praise goes to the parmesan cream, which is simply amazing! Extensive wine list and a great selection of risottos, but not only that! Everything is truly excellent, reminding you of home-made flavors, but with a twist! The desserts are SUPERB and all homemade! DELICIOUS! Super satisfied as always! I usually go to Melara for dinner during the week or on the weekend, but this time we decided to have a lovely Sunday lunch! And it was a truly excellent idea! The location is warm, welcoming, and familiar, and the service is impeccable; everyone is super-trained, professional, helpful, and incredibly kind! The staff is TOP! This restaurant has now become a regular stop for when I want to eat well and be pampered! Eating at Melara has become a true treat for me!!! But what makes me come back EVERY TIME is definitely the food: everything is excellent, from the charcuterie and cheese platter with that swoon-worthy parmesan cream, to the delicious first courses, the second courses, and finally the desserts!! Truly a pleasure! Excellent ingredients, expertly used and presented even better! High-quality, seasonal ingredients, cooked and presented with great skill!!!! The menu also changes constantly: discover new flavors and new combinations! I also had the pleasure and honor of meeting the owner and chef, and the fact that he puts himself to the test personally only adds to this place's appeal! Needless to say, I will obviously be returning again and again and again!!!
