The food is excellent and the service is great. They have a set menu and à la carte options, and you can make reservations.
Since the new management took over a few months ago, things have improved considerably. The pintxos are delicious and there's a great variety, the service is excellent, and all of this helps create a diverse atmosphere: morning, afternoon, and evening (each with its own distinct character). Since the Bar Albert team moved down to the kitchen, things have only gotten better.
A pleasant and friendly place, both for drinks and dinner. My girlfriend and I had dinner on a Friday night, and the food was exquisite. We chose the lobster rice and the octopus platter, and we left the restaurant very happy. We'd also like to highlight Maycon, who assisted us throughout the meal. We found him very pleasant and friendly. We'll definitely return.
Everything was great, central location, where the last republic began
Good atmosphere, both at midday and in the evening, for tapas and drinks.
A cozy place with a dining room upstairs where you can enjoy a good lunch or dinner. A pleasant place to enjoy a trade or a cocktail bar with a very pleasant atmosphere.
Great set menu for €12. The beans were fantastic, flavorful, and perfectly prepared, along with the delicious chorizo and tasty chili peppers. The second course, "stuffed peppers with crab," in my opinion, lacked a touch more seafood flavor. It was funny that when I asked for bread a second time, they served me a five-grain loaf that went perfectly with the peppers! Delicious! I'd serve that bread with peppers all the time! Haha. The waiter's recommendation to order a glass of higher-quality wine instead of the bottle they offer was spot on, and the Arkupe water also deserved my praise! See you soon!
Good place for a drink. It took them three-quarters of an hour to take our order. The food wasn't too bad, the peppers were a bit hard, but otherwise fine. The only problem was that there was only one waiter and they were packed; it wasn't their fault, but they made us wait too long.
Bar-restaurant located in the nerve center of Eibar, it has a covered outdoor terrace and a large indoor bar with tables and a generous bar on the ground floor. On the upper floor it has a restaurant with two rooms, the tables are large enough for a comfortable meal. The service is very attentive and they serve quite quickly. That's all I said in my first review. The thing is that they closed the restaurant months ago and only the bar continued, the people who run it have changed and the truth is that it has gotten worse. The restaurant opens at 1:00 pm and since we were there early, we sat on the bar terrace and ordered some drinks and some tapas, mine was omelette, I tried it and left it, probably the worst I've ever tasted in my life, dry and with a flavor that made me think, I can't say for sure, that it wasn't made with egg, but with "huevina". At 1:00 PM we went up to lunch, the first dish they offered us was chickpeas and salad, when I asked for salad, they told me it was both, not one or the other. Feeling very sorry for them, I told them I didn't want chickpeas and in the end they only brought me salads, which were not bad, my wife asked for cod and she told me it was okay, I asked for pork chops and it had more fat than meat. The best thing on the menu was the vanilla ice cream, which was very good, creamy and with a lot of vanilla flavor. We paid €41.00, which is not bad for two menus, but it's not worth launching rockets either. I'm sorry to say that the food has dropped a lot of points compared to before closing, I hope they improve, because the place is worth it.
Honestly, the only positive thing I got out of this place during our company lunch was that it was spacious. The service was slow, very slow. Poor value for money. My favorite dish was the cod in pil-pil sauce.
The dining room was very small with a low ceiling. The waiter had to bend down all the time. Going to the bathroom was terrible, as it was on the ground floor and there was no elevator for the elderly, which was a real obstacle. I didn't expect the seafood rice to be spicy. No one mentioned it to us, and it seemed like a small gesture not to let us know.
We had lunch there one day and I don't think I'll be back. We arrived with a reservation made three days in advance. The food was slow and there weren't many menu items to choose from. There was only one dessert (apple pie for everyone). The air conditioning came on while we waited for dessert and the lights went out twice, which we interpreted as them telling us we had to leave, but of course, the "super dessert" was missing.
Pathetic service. Unpleasant and arrogant. If you're going to come to this town to try and make a living with that attitude, it's better not to come at all.
Horrible experience. Dining room with few tables and still poor service. The waitresses disappear. There's no sound or ambient TV, so you spend the entire meal listening to waitresses' conversations playing games with newspapers. €26 menu, poor quality. Food passable but presentation terrible. Dry pork knuckle and frozen potatoes... Knives don't even cut the meat. Dessert: overcooked cones with wafer-thin wafers like chiqle. Won't return. There are better options for less.
An exorbitant price, terrible customer service, and the food was just so-so... You pay way too much for what you get, it's highway robbery. I don't recommend it; you're better off eating some sunflower seeds from a Chinese place.
The weekend menu doesn't match the one published on the website; it's infinitely inferior. I ordered asparagus as a starter, and they gave me three, and they weren't even a centimeter thick. I had a reservation a month in advance, and they hadn't taken it into account. We were able to eat because a table became available—all in all, a disaster.
Small portions and expensive. The waitress upstairs, a very young girl, manages the entire dining room by herself with no help. She can't do any more than she should. She asked two managers for help and still had to do everything herself. Of course, the others were apparently eating with family or VIP clients. It's a shame because the place itself is very nice.
