Awesome service, great tasting hot food. I ordered the habanero crunchy chicken taco; flour tortilla, crispy chicken, shredded lettuce, and habanero sauce with the right amount of kick. I also tried their new Crunchtada; a crisp tortilla with beans, finely shredded cheese, lettuce, and diced tomatoes. I'm thinking you can stack two of these bad boys and add salsa of choice for a pizza of the "Mexican" variety, you won't miss the other one. I'll definitely be going back.

I love Del Taco, always fresh! Will forever choose them over Taco Bell.

This is the best del Taco in town. Every time I come here the people at the window are super nice and always timely. My orders here are always accurate and my food is always fresh. There's never a line more than one or two cars at this particular location almost like a hidden gem.

They were very patient with me since I wasn't sure what I wanted ( I had coupons) very nice new girl at the window i asked what sauce was popular on 1 of my items I've never tried.. she admitted she was new an wasn't sure, than suggested she give me a few of each sauce so I could try which 1 was better for me ( I really liked that) I've never had an issue with this location... very friendly, correct order, in a timely manner... !!!

Without exaggeration, the best fast food experience I've ever had. The food is excellent for it's price. Armando at the drive thru is like the peak example of customer service. Super friendly and helpful. He upsold us an ice coffee for $1, telling us "you will enjoy it," and true to his word, it was a damn good ice coffee. Also love how he says "see you tomorrow" after handing us our food. Now I have to show up again tomorrow or Armando will be sad.

It may be the drinks from the bar, but this was some of the best late night food I've had in a while. Definitely coming back!

Del Taco is my new Taco Bell. You can get something for anyone in the family here. Fresh food. Not the fastest but that's okay when the food is good. Been going to Taco Bell 40 years and they have nothing anymore and here's del Taco. Come check it out experience

Well, I rarely eat here but when I do, service is excellent, food is great and now that I used the restroom, its getting better cleaning habits. Inside play yard is nice if you want to let the kids run wild and sit for a quick minute to take a breath from life and its dramas

Ordered one of the jumbo shrimp tacos just to try it and they had this promotion of buy 2 get it for 5 because each one is $3 and some change and it was very very good so I just regret not buying the two. Great customer service they're very nice and patient.I always take a good 2 minuets looking at the menu , of course that is if no one is behind me.

Went 30mins before closing and the male worker with curly hair who helped us was so so unbelievably nice it really made my night! He even gave us a little bit of extra fries which really really was amazing💖💖💖💖 GOD BLESS THIS DEL TACO!!!!

Their tacos are much better than Taco Bell , and their French fries are probably the best that I've tasted for a fast food shop. Don't ask me why but I love them. Also the people are friendly and the service is good.

It was a chilly January evening, and the everlasting call of cheap fast mexican food was screaming my and my fiance's name. We cruised the streets of Modesto, looking for a quick but satisfying bite to fill our tummies after a particularly trying evening. We found a lone Del Taco, which admittedly I haven't had the pleasure of dining on for approximately 13 years. The drive through was empty. We approached the order screen, overwhelmed with what appeared to be too many tasty options to choose from. A particular craving of fish tacos consumed me. The warning in my head to not indulge in fast food fish conceded to the rumbling of my heart (or maybe that was my tummy?) And I proceeded to order two of them, along with a cheesy, meat filled burrito. My better half, acquiesceing to the flavorful chicken tacos tastefully advertised on the screen. The employee behind the microphone was patient, understanding even, as we took our time to order. In the dark-but-not-too-distant alley behind us, we could hear the thumping of mexican musicá as we ordered our food. It was delivered promptly, and we pulled to the side of the parking lot to dine on our reward, mariachi in the background. It was a night I will never forget.

We stop by here each time we visit Modesto and have for years. The food and service is always good. They served a huge amount of shredded cheese on the tacos and it was so good. The rest is a bit older/worn in spots, but still clean.

I went inside to order because my vehicle was too large to fit through the drive through. The staff was respectful and efficient and very patient with me even though I had plenty of questions and my order was complicated. My food was made quickly, perfectly prepared, and was fresh and delicious. My only minor complaint is that they did not wrap the paper around my burritos perfectly.

Man, I haven't eaten from here in what felt like forever, but when I did, I got crinkle fries and grilled chicken soft tacos. When I say it was delicious, it was actually delicious. The tortillas are so soft, they feel nice to eat, the chicken was nice and soft and has really nice flavor, the fries were hot, perfectly cooked and salted.

Theses beyond plant -base tacos are amazing so happy they finally have plant-based options for people who don't eat meat. I would high recommend getting theses beyond tacos and there other beyond meat products so good and fresh. Thank you for creating theses awesome plant-based products.

Can't hate. Only ever ordered via drive-thru but it is always what you would expect. Staff is friendly and food usually well prepared for a fast food place. Good flavors in most items. Churros! Eat them first because they're good..but also because nobody wants a cold churro.

When I first entered the place I find that it wasn't really that busy in the evening of july 11. I order their 4 dollar box which consisted 2 value tacos crunchy/soft, a bean and cheese burrito, a side of fries, and a small drink. I got the order quickly and the workers there were nice and friendly. There batrooms are located inside on the right side of the building, but you have to ask them to unlock it for you.

Nice and clean place to eat and relax with the kids. It has a play yard but it does need an update on that. The food was yummy in my tummy. We enjoyed it. The worker's were very nice

Del Taco has the best value menu around. Of course you came here for a chicken soft taco but did you know that they have some bomb nachos for about a dollar? They also have really good fries and that's about all I have to say. The BRC is pretty good too. RIP BRC

They can be pricey but they're value menu stuff is unbeatable, much better than taco Bell in my opinion. The 1/2 lb bean and cheese burrito is a lot of food for $1.29 and feels closer to real Mexican food than taco Bell. The $1 chicken rollers are good too. Then if you want to splurge, the strawberry shakes here are great! Made with real ice cream and strawberries! There was one time that I think they put too much mix and it was disgusting... But that was a fluke. Other than that I've had those milkshakes since childhood and between the Oreo shake at Jack's and the strawberry shake here, it's a tough choice for best fast food milkshake.

I luv Del Taco! The food is good...the prices are very reasonable...and I usually go during the evening, so there's no long lines. Take advantage of their specials and save a buck two

We have only gone to Turlock location for drive-thru, so we can't fairly rate a few categories. Food is way better than Taco Bell. The last 2 times I went to the Patterson location, it made me Sick. We did dine in @ Modesto location & food was really good for fast food. It was very clean & we got good service.

Always have had good luck here. Food has always been hot and fresh. Would've given them a 5 star review but they gave me mild sauce and forgot my napkins lol.

The Beer Batter Fish Tacos are smaller, but always fresh. Fries were hot and ready. I've never really had a bad experience here.

Visiting late night is hit and miss on getting your order correct went twice last week got everything in order correct first time second time got half order wrong and was missing part of order but called when we got home and they were willing to credit back to card used and did so within two days besides foods great

My food order is always correct when I go in person. If you do doordash your delivery person may forget to ask for sauce/napkins. The times I have been there I only see 2 workers there. 1 is usually prepping food and the other 1 is managing the drive through and taking the orders at the counter. Dinning area is clean the times I have been there. They have a play structure but always seems hot so dont think they turn AC on in that section. They do have a bathroom but I have not seen how clean it is. Plenty of parking since most people go through the drive thru. Sometimes the soda machine is not working for some of the flavors. They also run out of the strawberry lemonade on some days. Staff is friendly at least the ones I have interacted with.

I am not sure about the atmosphere as I did the drive-through on my way home from work...but...omg, if you haven't tried the Ranch Roll ups...you REALLLLLLY NEED TO! OMG, super delicious. 2 kills the hungar!! Omg. :). Yummy.

Food is really good. Never had a problem with an order and the crinkle french fries are my fave at this place place. The customer Service I will rate at 4 stars because its "Not" a high end fast food place. The people are helpful and kind and will actually help you with the menu when you have questions and your not sure what is good to order. Taco Tuesday is one of the favorites for our family. They have chicken or ground beef,...and you can get them in either a crunchy or soft Taco in a 3 snack pak.

I didn't used to like Del Taco's food but I feel like they've really up their game as a company. As far as this Del taco location, I feel like it's hit and miss with the customer service. I don't think they've ever messed up our order and they always take our coupons. So those are major bonuses. My husband misses Juan. Didn't know him personally but he used to hook you up with the sauces. Lol

For a Mexican food joint, they serve the best burger. The double Del cheeseburger is truly the best and add the fries to make for a great 50's diner experience!

I come for the playground. Like all fast food don't expect much on way of geniune flavor. There are several items on the menu that are better than what another fast food place would sell. The strawberry lemonade and shake both use real fruit. This is the selling point for choosing Del Taco playground to other places. However, they don't always have the play area air conditioned.

We come to Del taco once every 2 month's just for the indoor playground. I buy kids meal for my children, they eat half of the hamburger & all there fries. Hamburgers are not very good, they are super thin & dry. I dont expect to get a great burger at a taco joint. But kids dont know any better. The fries are really good though. I buy burritos for myself they are pretty good for a hungry dad.

They were very nice and helpful. My friend is alergic to alot of products, so we didnt eat here. The drive through were great. Menu looked really delicious.

It's not the best it's not the worst the only reason the place still exists is because as a play place for the kids. The food is mediocre overpriced with a selection of burgers and burritos just like anywhere else except for the quality is not that good and they're smack together. I can pay the same price for taco truck and have three times the amount and better flavor. I would not recommend this place

Really great staff, friendly, helpful, fast and rarely they make mistakes, actually almost never. I wish the chain would go back to white meat chicken though, they used to have the best chicken tacos and burritos in the fast food industry.

As fast food it is ok to eat while traveling. Part time service personnel have a good attitude.

Bought an older homeless man dinner from Del Taco, and it wasn't bad. I got to talk to him about his life and situation and was able to encourage him to get back on track. Witnessed to him about Jesus Christ as well. He was very appreciative and humble but wasn't sure he was ready to change quite yet. Hopefully, he went back to his family.

Nice location but a long wait in the drive thru for the order. Food was good and fresh with nice portions for everyone. Enjoyed the visit, except the cashier who took the order was a little rude and really took away from the experience. Customer Service is a key to get people to return and definitely received negative vibes on this visit. Will probably choose a different establishment to visit on our next trip to Modesto.

Food was great. Reason for low stars was the inside and play place was dirty with crumbs everywhere. All the play area tables were dirty and my kids didn’t even want to play on the structure cuz it had crumbs and was nasty.I hope they change this cuz it use to be fun for my kids to play.

This Del Taco has a very big play area for children with a couple small tables for parents to sit and eat while the kids play. Some of the play equipment allows children to climb on the outside of it. Parents please be careful; this in not safe! The food here is okay but I still like Taco Bell better. I guess that tells you how often I plan to eat here.

The play structure was broken but still open. Major safety hazard for children to fall about 6 ft down and behind the structure, also there apeared to be feces in the play structure but was unconfirmed. Food was wonderful as always, but they need to fix some things up to make it safe for the children to play on the structure.

Wasn't that great I think. A little bit of a mess from the rain outside. The food was as you would expect from Del Taco 🌮. Fine. The 🚗 drive thru experience was decent. This is just another one of those I can't quite put my finger on just yet. But I'm sure I'll get the hang of it. 😐😑

I normally like this restaurant and the food and usually get good service but the other night I went through the drive thru and thought I was being overpriced....so had "Amanda" remove an item to which she gave me sass over then when I politely asked for my receipt, to make sure I wasn't being overcharged, she refused to give me it! I asked her to get the manager to help her and with an attitude she said he wasn't there but that she could write down what I ordered.......which does me no good since I don't know what I was charged on my card. I asked her name and said I'd be contacting her manager and she goes "OK OK I'll get your receipt...." and grumbled and gave an insincere apology or two.....The food wasn't that great either, I think the macho nacho had been sitting around awhile...the chips were mushy and the toppings were dried out. Very disappointing! They need to hire some young people with manners.....

I always ask for guacamole with extra cheese on my tostadas. I haven't been getting my extra cheese that i pay for. I live on the opposite side of town so when i get home i never have the opportunity to just get back up and go back to the restaurant. Food is good but this is the fourth time they have messed up my order.

This place is interesting.. a bunch of young women working here too worried about talking about their dates then actually recognizing they have customers.. I love del Taco.. but it'd be nice if they actually would pay attention and realize they have a customer

For a fast food restaurant the food is pretty good. The employees are friendly and professional. The dining area was clean but the restroom needed cleaning and they have a key to the restroom attached to a large plastic soda cup. Very unsanitary and disgusting. If the employees are using the same key, they need to change that.

The food was all stale with the exception of the chicken soft tacos. The beans were hard, tortilla was hard, the nachos barely had chicken but had the nasty hard beans on them. I mean it's Del Taco so it's expected. Lesson learned.

I used to be a big fan of del Taco. You can fill up pretty good for not of ton of money. Now the burritos just aren't as good and they're very small. The French fries are usually still pretty good so they get an extra star for that. They got rid of Mr pibb which I really liked. A burrito combo is $16 and just not worth it. I miss the old del Taco the way it used to be. It used to be so much better

I ordered 2 beef and bean burritos. The employee taking my order asked me multiple times if I said beef and bean, to which I said yes. Well I get home and realize he gave me 2 bean and cheese burritos. The beef and bean cost more so my money was wasted! Very disappointing especially since I’ve never had Del Taco before.

This del taco is ALWAYS closed before 10:00pm. They have been closing two hours earlier than it says they are supposed to. It’s pretty annoying when you have to drive all the way across town just to see they decided to close super early. Change your hours Del Taco! Get it together.

went after 7:00am for breakfast and there was nobody in the drive thru to take order. There was an employee walking in, but guess breakfast should be changed to 7:30am not 7:00am.

This place is terrible I’ve been coming to this del taco for a long time and it still hasn’t changed. The manager is always playing Mexican music and talking in Spanish. And it’s been two times already that when I’m in line she starts to yell at the customers because they take to long to order. And one of the workers has been smoking weed in the bathrooms my kids are always complaining about that guy smoking his dope in there and the manager doesn’t do anything to him... Verry disappointed about this place!!

Del taco is great but this place is a hit and miss one time the food came out great and the other times they do not take your order right completely get it wrong food is not even good so I don't go here anymore. Also staff is not good with customer service at all.

Very disappointed went for taco tuesday usually the tacos are well worth the drive ( carver and standiford ) beings I live closer to the del taco on Sylvan and Oakdale. To my dismay when I got home the tacos had only a third of the filling so , I had to drive back to the del taco on carver and standiford which they did exchange the tacos for the tacos I usually get... think I'll chance the one closer so at least I won't be driving back if they make only a third of the taco.

The website, Google, and all the food delivery apps show this place open. It even says on the Google page that it was recently updated by the business. Yet no phone calls are answered and no orders for delivery get confirmed or completed.

Cold fries and our meal was wrong. Also the staff at the counter needs to communicate more. They seem like it was a chore to take our order lol.

this is not an easy place to work because of the menu..many many moons ago i worked here.i think they jyst stopped gradually putting me on schedule is why i stopped working.so the other day i order 2 for 4 fish and two for 4 chicken.the tortillas were absolutely raw.i was hungry i jyst are them. i do believe they are supposed to be cooked.they were so rubbery.actually i just ate one of each then tossed them.. drive through was good.my sissy was in frontof me..she's paid for my order.so i went and paid for the people behind.me..hopefully they enjoyenjoyed their meal!!!it was only 5 bucks and shone change

I am never going to del taco again. First of all they messed my $50.00 plus order. No one wanted items with beans, yet the manager at del taco replaced two chicken burritos with two bean burritos. I waited forever for the order which was understandable because i did order a lot for a few people but they could've at least made the food right. The fish tacos were cold, they reminded me of the cheap fish sticks with stale tortillas. The nachos were stale, no crunch at all.....Waste of money and time.

Ordered thru postmates and my order was confirmed and paid for and they said it "never came thru" and refused to make it. We have this at our work and all I know is we try to fix the problem, not turn a customer away. Get you're stuff together people

Whenever I go to this del taco they always mess up on my order. I had a simple order, 2 quesadillas, one spicy jack CHICKEN quesadilla and a regular one!! My regular quesadilla was sloppy cheese every where hella greasy and the other one did NOT have chicken in it!!! I hate this place! They will never get my service again!!!

I had a chicken salad and I couldn't find any chicken all. It is the worst taco salad ever had. I will never go to this one ( carver with Stanford) also they are very slow it took me an hour in drive thru. So upset.

Worst food ever, service tech attitude sucked. We got drive through and when we got home. My caassadia was waded up in the bag, didn't have any hot sause in bag & didn't ask at window. I won't go back here!!

On Feb 17th I was in the drive thru at 11:45 and was told by Lisa that they are closed and always close 10 minutes early. I told her I drove there and gas is expensive and I am there BEFORE the posted close time. If you close before 12:00, then you need to post the correct closing time. I'm hoping to be compensated somehow for wasting my time and gas. Looking forward to talking with the owner and by the way, there was a car behind me as well. If you check the camera, I'll be the black SUV in the driveway thru. I even stopped at the window to be treated horribly. People need to understand, without a customer, you don't get a paycheck and the business doesn't make money. I think a meeting with employees would help, setting straight what time you close and how to treat customers, especially a regular like me

Every single night they lock the doors 2 hour's before the actual closing time and It's pretty sad because I love Del Taco. kinda suck because can see the people in the back and sometimes they don't even respond in the drive thru. If I could talk to corporate and get this fixed I would appreciate it greatly I miss the food and would love to spend my money there if giving the chance. Please help us get our del taco back!!!

Went to this specific location to take my kids to the play area.. which was closed.. there was no sign the front door and didn't realize the play area was closed till after I ordered. After talking with the cashier, I was told it had been closed for over a year and they no plans to fix it.. please add a sign to the front! Front entrance door.. not just on the door to the playarea!! False advertising!!

Absolute worst meal ever ordered on Door Dash. I will never patronize any Del Taco again. A total waste of money and a complete disappointment!

I've been going there for a couple years now, but after seeing what I saw a couple months ago I haven't gone as often. I saw one of the employees or manger that is bald with a moustache ,whoever he was laying down on one of the booths with his shoes off while on the phone. I get that employees have to take their breaks but I would expect someone to at least keep their shoes on. I've seen him on the talking over the phone while on the kitchen with no gloves on as well. Please do better.
