The food was absolutely delicious, one of the best steaks I've had in a long time! Great selection of tequilas and outstanding service. I'll definitely be back!
This one amazing place. The food, the atmosphere and the service was amazing. I ordered the 4 tacos. 2 carne and 2 shrimp and couldn’t eat them all how full they were with the servings. Will come back to this place for sure.
This is one of our two favorite Mexican (Latin)restaurants in turlock Service is always fast, menu has a lot of choices,. There is a bar area with happy hour every day, 3 TVs with sports showing without being disruptive, decor is nice with a Latin motif. The plates are plentiful and tasty. We are never dissatisfied with our selection. I love the presentation of each meal on the plate.
We ordered the 4 taco platter , two shrimp enchiladas, and sopitos! The food was delicious! I wish the enchiladas had more shrimp but there was good flavor! My husband had corona and modelo on tap, and I had the Mango margarita and the guava Rita. Excellent night out celebrating our anniversary.
The restaurant was pretty busy on Sunday night. We had a party of 7, but only had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Quite a large menu of appetizers and food/meals and a really good sized drink menu. If you like tequila, they have quite an array. I had three different tacos and they were all excellent. Washed them down with a Mexican Mule. The food and drink prices were very reasonable.
The best experience, food and atmosphere! My husband had steak with garlic mushrooms and he loved it. I had a Molcajete with nopales and Asada..OMG!! Also had Platano Macho was delicious! Will definitely come back and try eating outside for a different feel. Real pretty outside area.
This place is pretty good. There chicken nachos are the best I've had. I also ordered there taco truck tacos. They were a little dry on the tortillas. The waitress was friendly and helpful...
Our first time at Memos and Nick made it such a great experience! He gave us awesome recommendations—the Tacos Pacifico, guacamole, and flight were all delicious. He was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of. We’ll definitely be back! The only thing we noticed was the restroom could use soap and paper towels. Beautiful restaurant, and a lot of variety on the menu. This is a more upscale Mexican restaurant in the heart of downtown, so parking can be rather difficult. There is a free public lot to the east, on Broadway. The food was made hot and was tasty. Though my taco was subpar. The tortilla literally fell apart in my hand as I was eating it. They do have a beautiful bar with a lot of drink options. Overall, a great place for a meal with friends if you’re looking for something just a little more classy.
I tried this restaurant for the first time with my girls for a girls day lunch. The atmosphere is beautiful! It's very clean and you can tell the staff take pride in where they work! Our Waiter was Isaias and he was AMAZING!!! He was on point with drink recommendations! Wr played a card game at the table and he even played along with using! He was such a trooper! I ordered the watermelon Agua Fresca and a guava a-rita. But we're delicious! I preferred the Agua Fresca. I ordered the El Chimi with Carne asada for lunch. The food was just ok for me. It looked beautiful, but it wasn't very warm and tasted a little bland to me. But I still give this experience 4 stars because the atmosphere and the experience was top notch! I'll definitely go back and try something else to eat next time
Ample menu with interesting selections. Food was tasty; portions were a bit above average. My mother very much enjoyed her salad. Drink menu had good variety. Drinks were made well. Comfortable and pleasant outdoor seating. Sadly, our server was not very attentive. The establishment was not busy. We did not arrive late, but it seems as though they were more interested in finalizing their night to get out the door. Was unfortunate, because everything else seemed quite nice. We would still recommend, but with caveats.
been here before where service was excellent, food was delicious and drinks were amazing. this visit was a big let down.
This place used to be great... Looks like they got new staff from tbe last time I visited. I usually come here once every three months and this is the first disappointment I've had. They changed the dressing of the salad, basicslly just a cup of oil now. (Used to be so good) They charge now for the beans that ised to come with the chips. When I let it be known I was willing to lay the $2.00 for it anyway, they didn't bring it out until I already got my order about 20 minutes later when I no longer needed the appetizer. Staff was super friendly though, that I cannot express enough. Just seems the place has had to make comprimises to save a buck. I probably won't come back.
Good friendly service mediocre food. No Bottle Cokes Tacos are $5 each which would be ok if they were flavorful. The 3 Sauces help a little but the overall flavor is sub par My Al Pastor was way Overcooked almost deep fried. My wife had Chorizo with Potato Taco and it was Warm/ Cold when it arrived...
I planned a family dinner at Memo’s to celebrate my daughter’s engagement. Our party consisted of eight people, including two children. I called on Friday to make a reservation for the following evening and was told that reservations are only accepted for parties of ten or more. Although I would have made other arrangements at that point, I was then told that if I called about 30 minutes before arriving, they could put us on a waitlist and have a table ready. I was grateful for that option and followed those instructions. However, when I called 30 minutes before our arrival, the person who answered said they did not offer that option and implied that I had been misinformed. We were told they were fully booked and could not accommodate us. At that point, it was too late to find availability at other restaurants. This was meant to be a special dinner to celebrate my daughter’s engagement, and unfortunately, it was disrupted due to conflicting information and lack of accommodation. I was very disappointed with the experience.
This place has gone downhill since the last time I was here. The service is great and our waiter was so nice and generous but the owner seems to be cutting back on the things we enjoyed about the place. No more cabbage and beans and the burrito supreme no longer comes with veggies, salsa, or white rice. It's literally a plain burrito so why keep it on the menu as a supreme? It's sad to hear that the workers or looking for new jobs because the owner has cut down their hours. Overall the food is good but the amount of stuff they have cut back has made me rethink coming back again. There's a reason the one in Modesto closed I guess
This place has gone down hill in the last year. They used to give you caddage black bean dip and salsa when they sat you. Now if you want the cabbage or black bean dip you have to pay for it. We ask for more birrira sauce and they said two dollars for more sauce. I dont know if this place has new owners but it definitely isnt what it used to be. The place has been dead the last 3 times I have been there. It used to be packed all the time. Something has definitely changed. Definitely won't be a go to place anymore.
This is their so called breaded pudding. So as a normal person I thought this was the usual bread pudding that most of us enjoy. What the heck is this? Hard mini french toast sticks with three scoops of vanilla ice cream. If anyone from this restaurant is reading this, please talk to the owners and have this horrible dessert renamed. This is no where near anything that resembles a bread pudding.
I was not impressed with the food and it seemed to me that they are really trying way too hard to be fancy but it's very see through and faux fancy. The vertical chip holder with some super greasy chips was laughable as was the three way dip plate. The salsa tasted very much like tomato paste and had no soul whatsoever. I could seriously do without the black bean dip and the flavor less coleslaw. Nice light chips that aren't greasy and a thinner and very flavorful salsa are such an important part of a good Mexican food experience and I really cannot believe that they completely missed the mark on this. The shrimp dish was pretty tasty but it was seriously lacking in quantity of shrimp. There was something odd about the shrimp besides their small size and lack of them that I couldn't quite pick out. Regardless, for a shrimp dish, it was extremely lacking on the supposed main ingredient. Arranging the rice in the shape of a pyramid does not make it taste better and the black beans only option is ridiculous. Neither the rice or the beans or tortillas seemed fresh at all. It feels like everything was previously frozen or the food was purchased wholesale and just heated and served. The 'breaded pudding'...I thought it was a typo or possibly that they were once again trying to be 'fancy' with their take on bread pudding which just happens to be one of my most favorite deserts in the entire world. The 'bread' cubes seemed like they were something that you would buy at Walmart in the frozen food section....like french toast bites or something and the ice cream was not particularly high quality. Anyway it seemed like the 'bread' cubes were microwaved and haphazardly thrown in a bowl with some discount ice cream and served. I have never felt so insulted in my life when I saw what was supposed to be their take on my most favorite desert ever. It's an absolute disgrace. I won't even comment on the billion kinds of tequila and other various alcohols they are serving for ridiculous sums of money. I will say that my long islands were tasty and potent. I absolutely do not believe that real Mexican people have created the food here because if they did then it's a disgrace to their country and it's inhabitants. Oh the shame.
