I came here on January 2nd 2022 for a simple meal of beef pho broth, Jasmine tea, and the bun1 plate with pork, shrimp and mixed vegetables. The broth was very hot and fresh tasting full of flavor and the tea was smooth and floral. The bun 1 combo had fresh cold veggies and a good amount of fish sauce to season the bowl. I left very happy you can tell the employees here are happy and care about the business 5 stars from me. Thanks guys my new favorite.

Delicious food. I usually come here to get the pho, large number 1 with beef meatballs, shrimps and extra tendons added. I've had the roasted duck and roasted crispy pork belly. Their roasted duck and pork is made fresh on Wednesdays. They're delicious and so is their fried rice. Occasionally I'll get the number 1 sandwich with headcheese, ham, liver pate. Best Vietnamese restaurant in Modesto.

Staff is always super friendly and it's always clean in here. Every time I've eaten here I've been very happy.

This place is incredible, been here 5 times this month and haven’t been let down once. Bahn Mi’s have great bread and ton of filling for only $7. Pho Broth is solid but the rice plates are even better, roast duck is out of this world.

If you love Mom and pops cooking of Southeast Asian food then try this place. It might be "ghetto" to some but that "ghetto" has flavor. Their Phō is amazing and cures whatever hangover or headaches you have. I take my girl here every once in awhile when we're in the mood for some Phō and a homely feel. They're not stingy with their plating either so if you're on a budget for some amazing food hit this place up.

Omg best pho I've had I usually drown my pho in houesing sauce it was so Rich in flavor didn't need it good quality meet. Waitress was very nice, clean restrooms and nice decor. Can't wait to try other items on menu.

I was craving these soo bad & found this spot on google & let me tell you - I’m so glad I came. They were both absolutely amazing & very fairly priced! Plus they are literally HUGE! Bigger than I’ve had at other places. Personally, I do like them just a bit crispy.. so I popped our sandwiches in the bottom oven rack on low heat when I got home and took some fat bong rips before my bf and I devoured our sandwiches. We got the BBQ Pork, Grilled Pork & Roasted Pork. Every ingredient was perfectly proportioned. I will probably ask for extra cilantro when I go back because I am a cilantro LOVER! I will totally return to try the other yummy dishes like roast duck and chicken feet in black bean sauce !!!! Thanks for having great food!!!

We have found our favorite pho/food spot. (the plaza got a paint job so the outside looks way better now too). there was basically one waitress and she was nice and doing her best so definitely recommend this place.

I ordered the VNX Special Banh Mi and the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. Total was $21.72, the portions were pretty big, easily two meals. The Banh Mi was very good but the Spicy Beef noodle soup was excellent. Definitely lives up to the spicy name but not too much and it had really good flavor. I’d recommend this place for sure, I’ll be back! 9.3/10

Located nearby the Waffle House, this new business is surely a place you need to experience. I like a good well seasoned Juicy "Duck" rice plate. It was delicious, veggies on the side to cleanse your palate, with quantity and quality to match. Also ordered was their pork egg rolls, it was crispy with just the right amount of filling to satisfy your appetite. As usual this review is just my opinion, give them a try, you might love what they have to offer. They do have specials and a steam table for combination plates.

The food was very good and such a great price and the drinks were very good especially the mango smoothie and Thai tea and would go again and the service was amazing!!!

The dining area is spacious, and I felt comfortable with my papa there. There wasn't much of a crowd there when I went there, but I think that's mostly because it's new and not in the most popular part of town. That being said, the food was good, if a little bland. I think that can be fixed easily enough. I really liked it though.

Yesterday 12-06-2021 experience was not so good. They were a little bit busier then usual but the waitress/host customer service wasn’t to warming. My wife and I go there once a week and yesterday we waited to be seen and seated for a good almost 10 mins. Once seated it took another 10 mins for our order to be taken and when our food came out to us we had no condiments on the table to use for our soup. When trying to ask and get their attention they would just walk away. We had to get up and grab from a different table as those guest were leaving. Our normal waitress/host wasn’t there. Our noodles were over cooked but the food is usually amazing. Hopefully the next time is better. Hard to find a good pho place with great broth.

The person on the phone is always so cheery when taking orders. I always order the chicken sandwiches and a honeydew drink. The price is fairly cheap compared to other places I been in town. The chicken sandwich is always good and my kids and I love their honeydew smoothie.

Good bang for your buck, the portions here are fairly big, and have authentic flavor. I ordered the fried rice, which was pretty satisfying, except I felt like the shrimp could have been cooked through a bit more. Also had the Bahn mi, overall decent and could have used a bit more sauce.

But, when we walked in you can tell it was lightly touched with Viet Art, and a numerous amount of tvs focused on The NCAA march madness, with a laid back atmosphere, as you would see from the staff's attire. The decor is outdated, although you really dont come to a pho place for the decor anyways. We sat at a booth where the seats looked a bit worn out and torn, and the tables either just wiped down or still wet. The glass behind the seating was greasy dirty with kids hands placed everywhere. We ordered 3 sprites just to be safe and a coconut smoothie. We ordered the usual type of pho bowl and having eating Pho all my life thus far, the pho wasn't bad, but wasn't great. It was ok, which relates to the star given. Although wifey ordered a small bowl and stated they provided more meat for her bowl, as my large bowl seemed to have more noodles than meat. Now, Im a particular person when it comes to Pho, and it has to have the right balance according to the bowl size, along with having the right type of bold flavor that makes you thirst for more. especially when you walk away from the cafe. I didn't feel it here. The price was exceptional for the size of the bowls. But given that we came and not starving, the pho again was ok. Would I eat here again, I couldn't say, I'd have to check other locations and their taste so as to compare. Is it worth going to try, ummm yes. Was not satisfied with my order. My expectations was not met (shame on me) for thinking all Asian food has the same flavor and taste.

Nice people, easy ordering process. The food and preparation was way less than I expected based on the high reviews. My food was cold. It was not suppose to be cold. Cold pork belly is not very appetizing. My wife's pho broth was spilled, in the bag. The container was punctured on the lid somehow. It made a mess everywhere and was just an unexpected inconvenience. It looked on purpose which makes no sense. The hot food like beef and broccoli was fatty and chewy. Didn't even get finished. The rice was clearly not fresh. Hard, and cold. You could tell it had been sitting around which is pretty unacceptable. I've worked as a chef in a kitchen that served Asian cuisine and that rice we were served today should've been tossed. Not served for the hell of it. Low score for the experience and expectation not being met. May try them again at some point. Happy New Year!

So my review will be based on my items I ordered. I regret not taking pictures for this review but my family was hungry. So I ordered 3 Large combo Pho, a half duck plate, fried calamari, 2 banh mi's and a Thai iced tea and coconut shake. So to begin with the good. The banh mi is decent, not a lot of meat but decent from my previous experiences. Good flavor and the veggies were fresh. The pho had good flavor. But that's about it. The basil was old and had brown spots that came with the pho but the bean sprouts were solid. Now to my biggest irks about this place. I ordered a half duck that was 16 dollars, it was cold. I did get the food for takeout but I live on coffee and brigsmore. Literally a 4-5 minute drive. There is no way it should have been that cold. Literally had to pop it in the air fryer. The flavor was very off like if it was older cheaper quality duck and the portion was not a half duck. It was very skimpy. The fried calamari was another huge irk. It was all dough and no calamari. I was very disappointed since vietnamese fried calamari is usually my favorite. No flavor for the dough and some pieces were literally all dough. The drinks were very artificial and not worth the money at all. I was expecting more from a 4.5 Google rated restaurant but this was sad. The service was sub par. I went in shorts a black shirt and crocs and got treated like it was my honor for them to serve me and host me in their establishment. The young lady then told me that I would have to pay for chili sauce that is free on the tables when dining in. So I payed her for the sauce. I'm not a professional food critic but me and my family do own restaurants in Benecia and Napa. So I kind of know my flavors, this place is not a come back restaurant. If you don't know a thing about vietnamese food. This will be a decent introduction. But there is was better out here in modesto. I'm giving 2 stars for the pho and the banh mi

Okay let me start off by saying I am a buisness owner in the same plaza and I came here atheist once a week. Every time I come here the waitress acts as is she doesn't want to serve me. Pretty much throws my food down and has her back turned before the plate touches the table. I also ordered a water today at my visit with my meal she never brought it to me and I watched her prepare 4 waters and other drinks. For people and passed them all around me. No hello so where would you like to sit very awkward and disrespectful. These establishments need to remember the customers help them to pay there bills. So I'll never come here again
