Very nice rooms, such good food, great breakfast, very friendly service!
A very nice, recently renovated hotel. Margherita, the woman who runs it, is very kind, charming, and helpful. We had dinner inside the hotel, and the food and service were excellent. Congratulations!! 💯
It's a high-mountain refuge as comfortable as a hotel! Breathtaking views and excellent cuisine in a refined mountain setting.
Very clean hotel, welcoming room, Miss Margherita super kind and professional, excellent croissants.
The warm welcome immediately connects with the guests. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. Convenient parking, a terrace offering views of the surrounding mountains, and amenities for sports enthusiasts and lazy people who simply want to enjoy a beautiful day in the mountains with their furry friends and children, who are welcome here, as evidenced by the many games available, perhaps while enjoying a delicious meal.
A hotel nestled in the mountains on the divide between Liguria and Piedmont, on the maritime and Po Valley sides. The hotel is in excellent condition, with impeccable service and a restaurant that blends perfectly with the natural surroundings and traditional local produce. Highly recommended! See you next time ;)
We had a wonderful time at Vecchia Partenza, a restaurant with rooms strategically located for exploring the Monesi di Triora area and climbing Monte Saccarello. Our room was very romantic and beautifully decorated, with many charming details and a beautiful view of the mountain. Lying on the bed, we enjoyed a breathtaking view, a cascade of green fir and larch trees. The exterior is also surrounded by a small hill with blooming mountain meadows and many wild roses. The restaurant offers delicious dishes, including wonderful tagliolini with mint leaves and lavender flowers, all grown by the owners. The pork shank is also excellent, and the sausage is remarkable. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful, with homemade tarts and cakes, plus a focaccia so good it reminds me of my childhood. The atmosphere is relaxed and very convivial, and the owners are very kind and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Beautiful place completely immersed in nature. Nice to visit both in summer and winter with the possibility of using free sun loungers to sunbathe on their fantastic lawn. The perfect place to carve out a little space for yourself in complete relaxation. The quality-price ratio of the bar and restaurant is excellent, indeed excellent. Possibility of staying and spending the night in the fantastic rooms of the hotel, all cared for in the smallest detail and each room with a different theme. Very friendly staff, always smiling and good company. Restaurant with typical cuisine, all rigorously handmade, with the possibility of also eating pizza made exclusively by hand by the owner of the structure. Possibility also for sportsmen to go on excursions on foot or by bike along all the dedicated routes. Possibility also to rent for the day e-bikes in the summer season and snowshoes in the winter season. I really recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days in complete relaxation.
Very friendly staff. I was here for a quick aperitif but I will try to return for dinner because the platter they served me intrigued me! In winter the bar is close to the slopes and ski lifts, while in summer it offers a mountain bike rental service with which you can venture along the beautiful Via del Sale
Great MTB destination with friendly supprort - including charging E-MTB and overnight security parking
The food is good and the sleep is quite good. And the girl in particular is 10/10 for friendliness and kindness. Recommended for motorcycle, bike, and hiking excursions.
We spent a few hours on a Sunday in late September. The service was excellent, but the place was very simple. Mostly tourists were Genoese, Piedmontese, and foreigners. However, going to almost 2,000 meters and not finding even the slightest bit of snow was a bit sad. However, we saw the Transhumance procession pass by, which was very moving; it was the first time I'd seen anything like it. Typical local cuisine, and not everyone's taste is the same, because good things go quickly.
Cooling Sunday summer trip. Courteous, very kind and fast service staff. Essential menu with a choice of three first courses, three second courses and various desserts. Moderate price, abundant dishes, typical refuge home service. Large indoor venue with equipped outdoor veranda. Possibility to rent e-bikes or go on organized excursions. First course + second course + dessert + coffee (including wine, water and cover charge) approximately €27.00 per person. Must try mint and lavender ravioli....😋😋😋
We stayed here for one night as a bike group. I (we) cannot recommend it. The rooms are small and outdated. The cleanliness, especially in the bathroom (shower), was poor. We felt sorry for the friendly man who has to manage everything here on his own (bar, cook, waitress, cleaner, etc.). He really tries his best but is overwhelmed by the situation. I'm sure I would feel the same way. But this cannot be the standard for accommodation and a restaurant. The whole place feels like an abandoned place. It's okay for a quick drink, but nothing more.
It is one of the GTA stops, but it doesn't share the same spirit and mindset. Apart from the excellent beer, everything else seems to be managed with the chaotic and improvisational nature of someone who has embarked on an undertaking bigger than himself, and I remember the bad feeling of days and days of trekking ending up in a place where it is difficult not to notice that fundamentally tacky side that you would like to forget in the mountains. The waiting times are inhuman, despite the commitment of the employees. Despite a notice on the door that says "pagobancomat" at the end they tell you that it doesn't work "because we are in the mountains here", when I used it in (real) refuges at three times the altitude and without a paved road that reached the front. Mysteriously, not even the machine to print the receipts worked. I advise trekkers to go a few more meters at the end of the stage, and they will find real refuges (check if they are actually open in summer) even if they are not mentioned in the guide.
The people there were pretty lazy, one guy brought us empty plates for the entrées and started to give them to us. Since we were about to switch tables to get to a less hot one, he decided to leave a pile of plates on the other table and just leave. Other than that the middle age guy who worked there (I think his name was Mauri) always asked things aggressively to us, the only nice people were the oldest man there and a young girl who was actually pretty polite with us. The entrées consisted in a plate of 4 small portions of tartare, raw meet and cheese (12 euros each plate). The impolite guy told us that the polenta with roe (polenta con capriolo) was the best thing there, he was right, and it was just a little bit below mediocre, the guys at the bar were better people, that's the reason of the second star
I went with my family on August 15th for lunch, having reserved a table. It was a terrible experience. Poor hygiene, dirty buffet tray, small and poor-quality dishes, cold, and table service upon request (placemats and napkins not provided). An experience to forget!!!
Terrible disorganization, uncertain service, and rude staff: we booked a table this morning via WhatsApp for 1:30 PM. We showed up at 1:35 PM and were told there was no reservation. Despite showing us the written confirmation, they told us there was a wait. The place was full—unexpected, it can happen... but a few minutes later, they let in a group of six friends with dogs, who mocked us, even saying they had accommodated them, right in front of another couple who was waiting. Others left the place and said, "Run away, guys." Still, we had faith. After 30 minutes of waiting, we asked, and were told we couldn't eat there. The food there was probably good, but it just didn't make us want to come back.
