I had driven past the billboard on central, just south of foothill, possibly a dozen times. Each time I said "that looks really good and we need to try it" Well I finally did and I can safely say "that was really good and YOU need to try it" The first thing that caught my eye was the reclaimed wood tables. Not many places invest in nice tables let alone reclaimed wood. The entire restaurant had a very well put together aesthetic. As we approached the counter to order I noticed that next to the person taking the orders was a lady fresh pressing and cooking the tortillas for EVERY taco ordered. Let me tell you that THAT is something you will miss at most every other taqueria. The meats were amazing, tender and juicy. My father tried a sampling of Al Pastor, Shrimp, Chorizo, and Carnitas. I had the 3 taco combo with Asada. The rice and beans were excellent and the salsas were terrific. The red has a full and smokey flavor with a decent spice. The Verde has a sweet initial taste from the fresh peppers that went into it, and a strong after burn. They also have a small display housing fried Chiles, radishes, and other sides. Next to this is a cooler with fresh guacamole (they were making them while we ate and restocking), and deserts. Plus the widest selection of Agua Frescas I've ever seen. I tried the watermelon and my dad tried the Jamaica. The watermelon was very good but not for me personally. It was just too sweet for my taste so we traded and the Hibiscus was terrific. All in all this was well worth all the times I said it looked good driving by. I hope you give them a try too because you won't be sorry. BONUS: They have a drive through, so if you are in a hurry you can do that! Or the opposite they have a small patio area outside for nice sunny days.

I visited this restaurant on a Wednesday at 2:21pm it was quiet and not busy at all. Ordered a large pineapple guava Agua Fresca, menudo and an Al pastor taco. The drink was delicious and refreshing, Now let me tell y’all about this melt in your mouth so flavorful menudo. It was so tender and delicious omg the best I’ve ever had ngl. And the Al pastor was tender and juicy and so flavorful I enjoyed everything very much and highly recommend if you’ve never tried them.

Went in drive thru. Woman at the window was nice, chicken quesadilla (there is was slice missing because I ate it before photo was taken) was tasty, more chicken than cheese vs other places but still cheesy. Lots of sauces and sides, a bit overkill for my quesadilla order but will be appreciated by those big taco orders.

I enjoy coming here and love their drinks and food! I love the XL quesadilla as that fills me up and I love to eat! The drinks are very refreshing and I love the watermelon and their horchata is good!

I must say, this is by far the best experience I've had in a very long time!! I was super happy with their food, exceptionally clean and friendly service, I encourage everyone to try it out if you love authentic Mexican food as much as I do!!

Everything is good here. From the tacos to the taquitos, the potato tacos. The banana/strawberry Aguas frescas is amazing!!.

Delicious food no matter what you order. Many varieties of meat for your tacos, burritos, Tortas, quesadillas. Refreshing aqua frescas. I love this place

The food here is very good. I ordered a combination of three tacos and as I ate I realized the order was wrong. The food was so good I didn’t bother to tell them the order was wrong. Halfway through our meal the young lady from the front counter gave me the correct order to go and apologized for the mix up!! I was surprised, and thankful they noticed with me saying anything. We have been back many times.

Fire! Came down here to handle some business and stopped by this fine establishment. It’s was indeed slapping! And a great price!! Aquas are good too!!!

I really like the food. I’d give the place 5 stars, and I’ll upgrade if the place makes proper adjustments to their drive through lane. It’s way too tight and it’s obvious that many vehicles have been damaged trying to get through the turn. Please fix the issue. People - save your car from getting damaged and walk in instead of doing the drive-through.

We ordered the family meal (tacos:2 Baja fish, carne asada and El pastor) it came with a small rice and beans, chips, cilantro and onion and lemons. My husband also tried the birria de chivo. He did really enjoy the birria de chivo, he said it had really good flavor. The taco's for me were ok. They were cold. I really didn't like the quality of the meat in the carne asada and the Baja fish taco was not that great. I'm not sure if I like the tortilla chips or not. They are thick with a while grain texture. I understand it is a fast food type of Mexican restaurant so that's what I'm chalking it up as. We will try them out again and new menu items in a couple of months.

This is the worst Dos Potrillos I have ordered food from. The portions were so small. The tacos were definitely NOT worth $4 per taco. Especially the fish tacos, which were the saddest looking fish tacos I have ever seen. The lengua burrito we ordered too was all rice and a tiny amount of lengua. Again, for $15-20/burrito, nowhere near worth it. I would recommend to stay away from this location. Such a big let down after trying the Dos Potrillos in Moreno Valley, which IS worth the food in terms of quality and amount of food. The empanada de Al Pastor was good, but again, compared to the previous times I have ordered from a Dos Potrillos, it was abiut 1/3 to 1/2 amount. So disappointing. Same story with the tiny asada tacos they gave us. I will attach photos so you can judge for yourself whether you think the food is worth the price they are charging for the food.

And so you know meat is breaded"" on this torta.... i got some tacos too. And not to mention the high prices I hope the employees are making at least $20 an hour. The women at the cashier is very rude cuts you off. Oh and I forgot they put Chipotle mayo on my torta... really 🤢

7/25/24 SOME OF THE WORKERS APPEAR TO NOT LIKE BLACKS!!! approx 6pm Food was good as usual however one of the cooks (younger/taller cooks) seemed NOT to be African American friendly. I ordered a side of beans, there was absolutely no one in line other than me. Instead of taking my order and making the beans right away. He asked me to go pay first....? So I did and waited over 5 to 6 minutes for a side of beans. Another cashier came to ask if I needed help because she seen me waiting at the register for a while. Crazy part is the male cashier that took my order went to him (the cook) seemingly to ask him to make my order, in which he did seemingly laughing while making it. Now who knows how long I would've waited if he wouldn't have said anything.... Point is I could've made a scene.. But a side of beans isn't worth the ABSOLUTE escalation. However, this review ABSOLUTELY WAS... DO BETTER!!!! Oh and in case he claims not to remember me I was the tall Lady with the head wrap.... Side note: the shorter older kinda heavier cook with the lined beard that took my first order was GREAT. Customer service from him was on point, also taking note he greeted me a smile. 🙂
