It doesn't disappoint. I really love the carne asada sopes. The sope is not thick like other places. It's just right. The tacos and burritos are really good as well. The only thing is the lines are so long when placing your orders. The last time we went it took 15 minutes for them to take our orders. I hope that they have more cashiers especially when it's lunch hour. The place is clean but just basic and simple. But we're there for the food not the ambiance. Lol

I have been eating king taco since I was 12, it still rocks my world. Specially those hopes, the fried dough with the beans and then the cabbage its just amazing. Yeah due to economics the sizes have gotten smaller but they are still tasty. I have been to many locations and I can tell you that sadly the farther they are from LA the more the quality lacks. But they're still worth the drive. If you want good tacos and sopes you'll find them here.

Just like old times! Excellent overall experience. I'm well versed in all things King Taco since I've been eating here since the late 1980's. Good wholesome and tasty Mexican food at a fair price. Employees were nice, food was tasty and an overall pleasant experience. I had been meaning to visit this location to get my carne asada burrito fix :). It was delicious, filling and hearty. I got that and a couple of carne asada dopes (I was stuffed afterwards). Delicious filling food and a peaceful environment. We will be back with more photos. A highly recommended 5-star restaurant.

I love the food. I always come early but today I came like around 11 at night and let me tell you the long lines and people were just cutting in line because they placed their orders through Phone. They should have a separate line for them not just cutting in front of us that we’ve been waiting for 40 minutes. But I love the food love the atmosphere. Customer service was OK.

I've been to this King Taco location several times and its always a good food experience. Afternoons and late night, their service is fast even when the line is long. Tables and floors are clean and they have a jukebox for entertainment. I've had the chicken, carne asada, al pastor, suadero, and carnitas. The meat isn't overly seasoned so it allows the natural flavors of the different meats to come through. The carnitas can sometimes be a little dry and the suadero doesnt always have those crispy edges, but they are still yummy. With a variety of menu options (tacos, quesadillas, burritos, sopes, nachos, tamales, rotisserie chicken, rice and beans) you'll definitely find something to satisfy a party of 1 or 100. I prefer this location over some of the others because the food preparation and flavor is consistent. Definitely worth a try!

The food is good. I like all the different meats that are available. I had a lengua burrito and two dulce tamales. Their tamales are the best. My favorites are the pork and the dulce. It takes a while to get your food due to how popular and busy it is.

I got an Al Pastor Burrito and two Tacos Al Pastor. The food quality is good but I always compare it to how much better It used to be back in the day. 😅 Overall pretty decent quality I especially like the red salsa, It's been my favorite since I was a kid.

The tacos were very tasty, I like the alpastor tacos, carne asada was also good, but what I liked the most was there chicken tamales they were amazing, everything is put away so if you don't ask for anything like napkins they don't give it to you and you have to get back in line to ask for the napkins, they all don't speak English so if you have questions sorry your asked out. The food isn’t good definitely not what it use to be. The sope was so small they changed it the actual sopeo was so hard to even bite. The meat taste different not as good as it once was. I had the worst experience last night with a certain worker. I did not catch her name but she was short, darker skin tone, glasses, and wears a bun. It is not my first time though with her !! 2-3 weeks ago I came and had an order. I was waiting in the seats the whole time. Keep in mind it was only carne asada nachos so it’s something simple. I wait for more than 30 minutes and realized other numbers after me kept getting called. I went to go tell her and she claims I did not hear and put my order aside when she never even called it! She was telling her coworker about me claiming how I apparently left and was how I was barely getting my order with the nastiest attitude. She just tried to keep fighting it with me. She was trying to make me look stupid when I was sitting down the whole time and never called out my number.I did not appreciate that. Now I come in last night, once again ordered carne asada nachos and encountered that same worker. I left the building confidently and when I got home I opened my box and it was just pure cheese when I had ordered CARNE ASADA nachos, I wish I snapped a picture of that. I go back to her since she messed up my order and told her about it. She then wants to use the same box when it was already a good 30 minutes that passed. Why would you use the same box if the cheese is already cold? Makes no sense. I asked her can you redo them again and once again she tried fighting it with me. I opened the box back home it was barely packed with cheese and really little meat just in the center of the box. Once again I should’ve snapped a picture but I did snap a picture of how it looked like after a few bites. No meat and no cheese!! She barely put anything after I asked her to remake it as the other nachos were cold. I wanted to so bad go back again but it was just too much already. I would’ve asked for a refund and spoke to her manager because this customer service is honestly the worst I have ever experienced. She has not done me bad just once but twice. I will never be going back to this location again. The most rude worker I have encountered.

Bad customer service and productivity. An order of 6 tacos (sencillos) took 30-40 minutes. Plus, up to arrival to pick up tacos, they didn't have enough meat. They make you wait some more. Assembling tacos isn't rocket science. Everything is pre-cooked and made. This place needs different staff all together.

I had the worst experience at this location. The wait time was extremely long — after placing my order, it took over 40 minutes to receive my food. That alone was frustrating, but it got worse. When I finally got home and tried to eat it, the food tasted really bad. The flavor was off, and it did not taste fresh at all. I ended up throwing the entire meal away because it was not enjoyable. I usually go to the Baldwin Park location and rarely have issues there, so this experience was very disappointing. I definitely will not be returning to this location anytime soon.

I had a horrible experience with King Taco through Uber Eats. I ordered two sopes with NO CHEESE, and the receipt clearly states NO CHEESE in all caps, yet they still added cheese anyway. When I called to address the issue, the manager Christina answered and immediately seemed irritated. Instead of taking responsibility, she kept hinting that it was Uber’s fault—even though, again, the receipt from their kitchen clearly said no cheese. When I asked what could be done, she said they could remake the order only if I picked it up myself, and offered to throw in nachos for the inconvenience. Literally two seconds later, she took that back, abruptly said “bye,” and hung up on me. Mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability, poor attitude, and hanging up on a customer is completely unacceptable. This experience was frustrating and disappointing, and I won’t be ordering from this location again.

I don’t know what happened to this chain. It used to be the place to get the best tacos and the one to get me into tacos al pastor. But over the last 5 years or so the quality of the food continues to drop. I went to eat tacos on Sunday with my family and we were disappointed with the service. Only one person at the register making the lines grow out the door, and the quality of the food is just disgusting. I don’t know what I ate on Sunday but that was not al pastor. And my mom has been feeling ill since we ate there. Get your quality back up and use real ingredients or close down because this is a joke. And it’s the same for all chains not just this one. And it’s sad, I no longer recommend king taco to people and I used to be an advocate of this place.
