So I was driving and was looking for a place to eat healthy. I always eat burgers on the run. Today was a little different want to stop someone since I was on the road all day. Omg I love there food , it was just what I was looking for. The food was vibrant , flavor, yummy. It just hit the spot. When I'm in the area will stop by again. Love that they have veggies . Garlic pita was to die for. Steak is bomb

Discovered this place next to work. So good, flavorful and good portions! Now in my rotation of go to lunch spots!

It's a simple, clean place. Not loud & comfortable to talk. The food us delicious, savory & plentiful portions. The cashier/waitress is kind. She does it all by herself though and I only see one cook & possibly a helper so it's not quickly served since its made on the spot.

Love this place... I'm slowly eating every item in this menu. So far there is nothing I dislike...

Found this place near a fish store we go to. First time here, I got the Chicken Souvlaki plate. Chose Greek salad and humus for my sides. Husband got the Lamb Gyro. Small little gem in shopping center. Was delicious! Nice and refreshing, I'm sure will be coming back! Thank you!

The food was good, there's vegan and vegetarian options. The customer service was nothing memorable i just bring that up because it was something I had to rate, but she wasn't friendly or helpful just a young girl who took the order

I have been here now a few times. Their food is excellent. The service is awesome, kind and very, very helpful, especially Rhiannon. I have my go to Mefiteranean place.

First time I came here I fell in love with the food.I enjoy trying different Mediterranean restaurants and this place is yummy! Very Delicious food, clean, and great service. I dont live out here but my family moved out here so whenever I come I make sure to stop and get food. Met the owner and he was so kind. Thank you for great service. Many blessings. I definitely recommend this restaurant it became a favorite of mines. ❤️

They got my order wrong, napkins were only available at some of the tables, and each had ketchup and pepper but no salt. The food is amazing, though, and they were kind enough to correct my order for no extra charge. Good place, nice people, experience was more funny than inconvenient. Will be coming back if I'm ever in Montclair again.

Im glad I found this spot in Montclair! I've passed by often and finally gave it a try. Great food but expect a wait as its freshly made.

I got the Chicken Souvlaki plate with Greek salad and Baba ganoush and hummus, little sude of tzatziki. This was such an excellent meal. Deliciously seasoned and everything was so fresh. The pita is slightly toasted and that made me eat more of it than I meant to. I will definitely be back even though it's not that close to me!

First experience coming here. Daughter ordered the gyro wrap. Wife ordered chicken and Greek salad. I ordered the gyro plate with potatoes and grilled vegetables. Everything was tasty. The chicken and gyro were cooked just right. Not dry at all. The vegetables were fresh. I asked my family if they would want to come back and they both agreed they would like to come back. Staff was friendly. The place is bigger on the inside than it looks. Give a try if you are interested in trying something different.

My husband had the Cobb salad with grill chicken kabob. The salad was fresh and delicious with a perfect amount of vinegrette. I had the grilled chicken pita minus the red onions and a bowl of lentil soup. Seriously the best pita with quality chicken I've ever had. The lentil soup was so good. Lentil soup is my favorite and usually I only eat my mom's but I'm so glad I tried it here. Perfect portions of food and this place definitely beats the surrounding fast food places. The inside is super clean and so are the restrooms. We opted to eat outside in the little patio area, again very clean outside too. Also, the tea tastes great and they have crushed ice! This is my new spot for lunch. I highly recommend you give this place a try, you won't be disappointed. Update: Wrote this review 3 months ago and as of today we're still frequenting Cafe Moderno. Still the best spot for a fantastic lunch!

Gyro Plate was delicious. I just wish you had a spicy sauce option. Thanks for the awesome service. UPDATE: love the spicy chili sauce. RE UPDATE: MANAGEMENT: PLEASE MAKE THE SPICY RED SAUCE AVAILABLE ON THE MENU AGAIN! You seriously ruined the gyro plate by taking that option away. 🫤

This is a solid Mediterranean restaurant, one of several in Rancho. What’s unique about this place is the salad bar which has some of the most flavorful and even a spicy salad. The grilled items I had were a bit over cooked but had good flavor. Overall I would definitely return to try their other grilled items and the yummy salad bar.

Hidden gem for sure! The do take Like 20min for 1 plate but that's how you know it's fresh because I was the only one here . The Greek salad was DELICIOUS! Very flavorful. PITA BREAD ,RICE ,SHRIMP & CHICKEN CABOB was soooo good. Will definitely be back

A little gem in Montclair. Wish we had more authentic places like this in Montclair city. Ordered the zucchini chips & baba ganoush appetizers....delish (no picture). Ordered the chicken kabob plate with a Cesar salad and basmati rice (nice size serving) and my husband ordered the steak wrap. So good!!!! *And fries super tasty!

This is the best Mediterranean around. Falafels and lentil soup are delicious. Everything made from scratch and on point. Try it once and you will be hooked . Good service nice people.

First visit. Just a random google search for Medit food close by. It might be me buuuut, we were after some kafta & maybe steak kabobs and some garlic fries, pita and hummus. Usual Mediterranean fare I think, they didn’t have the kafta. Or, the minced garlic and oil fries. We ordered steak kabob medium rare, pita & hummus, and regular fries settling for aioli dip. The steak was flavorful buuuut overcooked 😔 no pink at all! A lil chewy cuz of that. Those factors are the reason for 4 stars. The pita and hummus were excellent!! The bread didn’t harden while sitting and eating either! Fries were cooked fine & the aioli dip was very good as well. The service was very good. They acknowledged us when we came in and gave us time to peruse the menu. Didn’t feel hurried as if we were supposed to know it already. She brought the food out as it was ready and checked back. We didn’t have time to wait on another steak kabob and it was edible so we just ate it. Bright environment, not some dank cave. Booth seat was good & we didn’t fall into some hole! Overall good menu options for sure! Nice place. We just had some other regular Mediterranean fare that wasn’t available. 4 stars

I always enjoy the food here so much. I have tried various other Mediterranean restaurants and have found places that I like some of their dishes but my overall favorite is all Cafe Moderno. My family always knows I want to go here when they ask me to pick a place to eat

I've eaten here at least 10+ plus times. Food is consistently delicious and owner is very nice. Food is slightly more expensive but you can definitely taste the quality in the food. Also order ahead because it takes about 15 to 20 mins to have your order out. Definitely not a negative because your food is made to order. Thanks guys.

I’ve come here at least 100 times because it’s so close to home and they’ve never disappointed me. My order is ALWAYS accurate which is crazy cause you’d think 1/100 times they’d mess up but nope. Perfect. The kabobs are great and wraps too. Spaghetti as well. Garlic pita my fav. Oh yeah and it’s always ready on time which is crazy lol

Was recommended to visit this location and quite frankly do not think I will return. I ordered the gyro plate and everything came in about 3 seperate containers. The wait was about 30 minutes to take the food to go. The meat did not taste like lamb or beef and tasted like it was frozen and warmed up in a microwave, not fresh at all. I barely got around 3 uneven little slices of pita and a tiny 1 oz cup of Tzatziki, that didn't taste fresh either. I also ordered a tiramisu that had no pick me up and no coffee flavor at all, and I also purchased a baklava, my baklava was dry with no syrup to cut the nuts. Overall the experience and food weren't pleasant.

As for the food, it was decent and the falafels were interestingly tasty though slightly burnt. They only give you a tiny cup of dressing which is not enough. I would not go back here.

I ordered 2 kabob meals and 1 appetizer online, received confirmation of order and was informed it would be ready in 20 minutes - PERFECT! I arrive at the restaurant at 12:05, the time my order was estimated to be ready by, just to be told I needed to wait another 20 minutes??? Okay, fine I can wait 20 minutes, then 30 minutes goes by, and I’m being told 10 MORE minutes!!!! I’m on a break from work and do not have this kind of time to waste!!! I’m waiting OVER an hour and it’s still not ready and now I don’t even have a break to EAT my food. All management and workers have to say is that they started late and were flooded with orders, no offer to make this right, no sense of urgency, absolutely frustrating!! 1 hour and 10 minutes later I’m informed they have no garlic sauce and MY ORDER IS NOT COMPLETE!!!!
