Pier 88 is an excellent restaurant. The food is fresh, clean, and the staff are very professional and friendly. I had the fried catfish with french fries and a sweet tea and the value for the portion size were really good I highly recommend that you check this place out.

Nice place with helpful staff who tried their best to seat us in a suitable table as we had a new born baby. The food was tasty. We ordered for two people 1 pound shrimp no head, fried Calamari and one steamd rice and it was more than enough.

We come here all the time for lunch and the service is usually mediocre at best but today our server, BRIAN, exceeded our expectations. He greeted us promptly and checked on us multiple times. We didn't have to wait for anything. The food is always consistently delicious which is why we keep coming back but today was even better with the exceptional service. Thanks Brian, keep up the good work! Cheers! For reference, we ordered the half pound shrimp with no head, black mussels and 3 hard boiled eggs. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We always come here. We have gone to many others and still choose pier 88. Flavor is on point, portions are plenty. From the boil to the baskets can't go wrong. Service is always good as well.

Not bad. I've spent a lot of time in South Carolina Low Country. Had many boils. This wasn't that but we're 2400 miles away and planets away culturally. I'm impressed. I would recommend one spice higher than you think and they could spice more regardless but it's a good, messy night out with crab, corn, sausage and potatoes. Well done Pier 88.

For the price, this is a great seafood boil however, our server was a little inattentive. He forgot to bring us the bibs gloves and napkins and what not but we got somebody else’s attention and they were happy to bring it to us. We ordered the country boil the catfish basket and some fried shrimp Appetizer. Everything was so good. The boil was juicy delicious seasoning dipping the crab meat in it made it perfect. The headless shrimps were so good and less hassle. We were so full and really enjoyed our meal.

I think the food was really good. I ordered the lb. of Green Mussels, and for the table the popcorn shrimp and fried calamari. One of my brothers got the fried oysters and fries, he was disappointed. my other brother got the wings, he was satisfied. I thought they were generous with the mussels. my bag had only one cob of corn and one potato. the house sauce was very good and my brothers agreed. However, our service wasn't good. Our Server was Valeria, it seemed like she was avoiding our table. I saw her peek at us from the kitchen but not come to help us. Her customer service needs a lot of help. At the end of our dining experience, my brother noticed and pointed out to me that she was preoccupied with her male-coworker. I was pretty disappointed also in the fact that my brother didn't enjoy his food.

With a small shellfish allergy, I thought it would be nice to order some mussels, oysters and fried fish. Unfortunately, I was told that they use the same boiling water with the shellfish so I opted for the fried oysters and fried catfish with fries. I can’t believe they thought it was ok to serve uncooked fries. Look at the pics and although they did give us fresh, extra fries, I had eaten half of my meal. The customer service was great. I would love to come back and give them a try.

I use to love this place… came here Thursday 2/12/26 as a valentines dinner with my man since we had our kids on the 14th. Thought it was going to be perfect! Eh Wrong!!! Woke up Friday throwing up shrimp shrimp and more shrimp! They ruined my love for shrimp! Plus I was bed ridden all valentines weekend! Wasn’t able to eat anything decent until Monday for dinner! I’m so disgusted by this. Food poisoning is the worst! I knew something tasted off about my shrimp but I thought it was just the seasonings. It wasn’t a big difference in taste and the lemon helped. So i ate it thinking “never had an issue here before” . Never again.

This establishment should change its name to FROZEN pier 88 since everything on their menu is frozen…charging $80+ for king crab and it ends up being frozen/thawed out is diabolical…at least disclose the information so we are aware before ordering it. Food quality is below 1 star. Very disappointing dinner.

I tried calling multiple times and no one answers the phone. So I was charged for a sausage add on to be included in two of my boil bags and neither came with it. Their phone service is horrible since no one bothers to answer. The receipt is half English half another language, so I can’t even distinguish what’s on my receipt.

So literally just left. We received 0 service, was sat alone on the side no one was. In walks two guys and magically a bartender they knew arrives and takes their orders as if we haven't been sitting there. Would have liked to try their food, but I guess in another lifetime.
