We had a short stay and it was excellent. The staff was amazing, they were very kind and attentive making sure we were comfortable. The breakfast and dinner we had at their restaurant was delicious and affordable. Overall it was great defenatly staying here again
Exceeded all expectations. The staff is exceptional! English speaking and do everything they can to accommodate. - Granted upgrade request for gold membership - Credited back days after last minute early checkout - free chicken tenders and beer one evening - Better than expected restaurant onsite - great restaurants nearby - great pricing through points Stayed for a week, would stay again anytime.
This is a fantastic hotel with big, comfortable rooms and fantastic beds. It's very fairly priced, staff is always very kind and it has a small pool area that is great for BBQs and hanging out. Parking is complimentary and lots of good restaurants nearby. Overall a great hotel.
Very good service. The hotel has a restaurant that does room service too. Good food. Good ambience. There is a small gym with a couple of treadmills, an exercise cycle and an elliptical and some free weights with a bench. The swimming pool is small and may be good enough only for the kids. The staff is nice and attentive. Rooms are clean and very well maintained. Housekeeping every day.
Excellent stay at a very new hotel. Rates were very good for the quality of accommodations,. The restaurant was also far better than any similar hotel in the US, room service was available as late as 11 PM, I believe. Reasonable price for a full breakfast buffet. I will definitely come back to this hotel next time I'm in Monterrey!
My wife and I stayed at this hotel for nine days in room 209.The hotel is located on a busy street with some nice restaurants within walking distance but the restaurant at the hotel is actually really good. They have a breakfast and lunch buffet and it's actually quite good. They have a cook upfront that will prepare your eggs in any style you want. What I really love about Mexico, and in particular the Marriott hotels, is the attention to detail and the excellent service that they provide. They are two employees at this hotel restaurant that I would like to personally thank. One of them is the waiter Raul, and I'm not sure what his title is, but he may be the restaurant manager and his name is Adrian. Both of them have excellent customer service skills. I was also very impressed with the front desk staff that attended us throughout the nine days we were there. I would like to personally also thank Keren, Arturo, and Melanne ( I believe this is how you spell her name). What a great team! The hotel is always clean and the rooms were quite nice. I would like to also thank Guadalupe, one of the maids. We had our room cleaned every three days in order to conserve the use of water. The room was spotless every time she cleaned it. My only disappointment was the size of the swimming pool. It was too small to do any lap swimming, but I still managed to get in a couple of times. I wouldn't hesitate to book any future visits to this wonderful city, at this Marriott hotel.
Stayed here for a week for work and I'm glad I chose this place! Incredibly clean, good room service, and surprisingly comfortable beds despite other reviews. I would absolutely stay here again. Most staff speaks English (if they don't they'll find someone for you) and they're so friendly! There's a security guard that patrols around at all hours which is really great. The pool is super clean, too!
A little dated but very clean rooms.
Courtyard by Marriott Monterrey San Jeronimo/Valle was a very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the essentials you’d expect from a good hotel. Check-in was smooth and the staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had what I needed. The location is convenient, close to shops and restaurants, which made exploring the area easy. Breakfast had a nice variety and was satisfying. I’m giving it 4 stars because while the overall experience was strong, a couple small details like room service timing and elevator wait times could be better. Still a solid choice if you want a reliable, comfortable stay in Monterrey.
Very good location, super friendly staff, fare pricing, good breakfast available from 7am, the building has a basement parking lot, which is very convenient.Very good option when in Monterrey, there are plenty of options for dinning around the building, some good ones within walking distance, this hotel is located in a safe street... Good room views from the 8th floor and up.
The location of this hotel is excellent, close to the center. About 35 minutes to the airport. The staff is very nice at the reception they are experienced and willing to help. Food is sparkling. In the room is a bit noisy aircondition. Parking you can choose, outside and inside.
As the event I attended was held inside the hotel, there was no problem regarding location. However, it is far from most landmarks in the city and a nearby cargo train makes the stay a little noisy. The rooms are fine, electricity or elevators do not require the room key to operate what I think is great. There's one issue that makes the whole experience to be not as good as expected: the food is mostly tasteless and repetitive.
Beds are super comfortable. Staff was nice. Gym is small. Good parking. Rooms don't block noise very well, expect to hear some traffic during the night. Wifi works!
I spent two weeks here. Service is great, location is in a safe place, the bar has a decent variety of drinks, wines and cocktail options, the restaurant's food is decent, the rooms are clean, facilities are clean, water pressure is great the only thing I did not like was the bed they are a bit outdated but not to the extent that will make me not stay here again and recommend this place. I was able to get my dollars exchanged and the majority of their personal is bilingual (English/Spanish).
I stayed at this hotel March 17-19 for business. I found air conditioning in room 612 unable to remove humidity from room.Very damp all night. The value vs price of breakfast is poor, I book my room with breakfast (paying extra) under the impression it will be included, only included "american breakfast" and have to pay extra to have fruits with yogourt. $390 pesos for the mediocre buffet feels like a total ripoff. Besides the whole hotel is quite old without any renovations/refreshment in what seems many years. No impressed a all by this Courtyard hotel.
It is impossible to get in touch with this hotel. Hotel and amenities are okay. I forgot my kindle book reader here last weekend 16.02.2020 and it has been impossible to talk to anyone inside the hotel till today, numbers don’t go through and Marriott apparently doesn’t have an email id! Very disappointed. Otherwise the property is good.
Do not stay here in the summer! The room temperature won’t go any lower than 76F or 24C I reported this and they sent a maintenance employee and they said that’s just the way it is, and they didn’t let me try a different room. Never coming back! The room does not have a fridge, horrible experience. The next day I went to work and when I came back found that they decided to go in my room and turn the AC completely off so the room was over 80F.
The staff is unprofessional and aggressive. I am a long time fan of Marriott and will not change my preference for their hotels, yet I will be boycotting this particular location for life. I arrived at 2:20 pm, before the 3:00 pm check-in time, and was kindly told a room was not available. I told the front desk agent that I was hungry anyway and asked if the restaurant was open. I’d eat while I wait. The restaurant was directly in front of the front desk and I was seated by the staff. I was told the menu was digital and told the staff I knew what I wanted already and that I was in a hurry for a 3:00 pm meeting. “Not a problem,” I was told. I sat in the restaurant until 2:50 pm watching 7 staff members at the front desk chatting away. No one offered to take my order, even though the staff knew I was waiting, saw me sitting there, and offered no support. I walked to the front desk, “Is my room ready, no one has attended to me in the restaurant, I lost my window to eat, and I need to take a meeting. 7 staff members chatting away and no one interested in attending to customers for 30 minutes.” Yes, I was upset, yet calm and firm. Nothing more. Ms. Peña, who I had not previously addressed, decided she would add to the conversation. Mind you, it was about 2:55 pm at this time. “It’s not 3:00 pm yet, we have no obligation to attend to you until that time.” I then got very upset, and yes, raised my voice. I told Ms. Peña that I was a customer from the minute I walked in and that I had every right to be upset. I told her that her response was unacceptable and that her lack of professionalism was incredible. Mr. Garza, whom I had not addressed either, decided he too would join the conversation. He told me to, “lower my voice”, that I was disrespectful, and that my lack of respect would not be tolerated.” My response was that while I was angry, I used no profanity, did not attack or speak to anything personal or outside of my anger at their lack of interest, and that I did nothing physical or verbal to intimidate. Quite the contrary to how Mr. Garza acted. Mr. Garza told me to remove myself from the premises immediately. I told him that I would only if they refunded my reservation or called the police. The manager, who was there this entire time and said nothing, had Mr. Garza leave. Having 7 staff members treat me in this way and intimidate me for having addressed them regarding my disagreement with their lack of service is very upsetting and I continue to be rattled days later. Marriott corporate responded very well as I expected, yet I am concerned that this staff will continue with no change. It is evidently something even the manager sees as normal. Terrible experience, undeserving staff.
Servíce very good, front desk very nice, the only bad which erases all the good about this hotel is that the air condition on the hallway is off, but the really bad is that outside the temperature is 40 centigrade and your room is the same temperature because management decide to keep the air condition off inside the room. It took more that one hour to cool it and for me this is really bad costumer service, we checked in around 11 pm we were tired and ready to cool down and relax and no it’s not happening because you are sweating for another 1.5 hrs. The TV have only 3 channels you can see!👎🏻
