Feels just like the staff canteen for nearby companies. The food is hearty and satisfying, with the tom yum soup and Thai curry both tasting excellent. I’ll definitely be back.

Love the traditional flavors of Thai food here. Tried their vegetarian pineapple curry - which was delicious. The curry was full of flavor 5/5 The yellow curry 4/5 - not a big fan of potatoes but love the consistency and creaminess of the curry. Tom Kha soup - 5/5 - my favorite ❤️ perfect level of sourness and coconut flavor. I wish the soup had more variety of mushrooms - we mainly had baby Bella in ours but nonetheless it was delicious 😋 Pad kee mow- 3.5/5 they were short on the flat big noodles so we had to substitute them for a thinner noodle type. The noodles were December but were missing the drunken noodle texture and flavor

This a hidden gem, it’s not a fancy restaurant but the food is a bomb. It’s a true authentic Thai with correct spice level. Medium heat level is adequate for soup. We tried Tomyum it was awesome and papaya salad was so fresh. Garlic sauté was very tasty. Food is not so pricy and portions are adequate.

Every dish we ordered was soooo great! The papaya salad, butterfly shrimp, fish curry, green chicken curry, mango sticky rice, Thai pork rice, and the seafood soup! But its not spicy at all, prefer Thai food to have some spicy flavor.. next time will probably ask for hot spicy!

Great food, reasonable prices, and good service. Pad see ew is my go to, but the spicy pork w/ basil is my partner's favorite. Yum!!

Fantastic Thai spot with outdoor seating. They have both authentic Thai street food and dishes you would expect like Pad Thai and Pad See Ew. I highly recommend the crispy pork. When they say crispy, they mean CRISPY!

Amazing Thai restaurant located in a small strip mall in Mountain View. Delicious food and great service. If you enjoy authentic Thai street food, Khao Kang is a must try. The food can be ordered with various levels of heat to cater to your personal taste. My girlfriend usually orders medium. I enjoy very spicy food so I order Thai hot and it never disappoints. The ambiance of the restaurant is quiet and cozy with a few tables for outdoor dining. Plenty of parking. It can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights.

The restaurant does have unique Thai street food options. I did not try them due to dietary restrictions. One of their signature dishes I did try is the fish curry cooked in wrapped banana leaf. It was good but not excellent. I have tried this dish in Thailand. My comparison maybe a bit unfair. It is a much milder version of what I have eaten. I feel they could have added more curry paste and spiced it up a bit more. The restaurant staff are very kind. It is a good place to bring family and friends. There is parking around. I had the Thai papaya salad. It was standard papaya salad. I have had much better in other restaurants in bay areas. They use French beans I would recommend them to use Chinese long beans. They use large tomatoes I would recommend using small cut cherry tomatoes that will look nicer and easier to eat. Also have options to put dried shrimp. Also out a tiny bit of tamarind water. Papaya salad has to be sour spicy salty and sweet at the same time. The Thai fish cakes was also good but not great. Again more on the bland side. Kafir lime leaf and red curry paste flavor should stand out. It was very mild. The quality of ingredients is very good. The execution of dishes can be more authentic. I would rate this place more like 3.75 for the food but due to it's staff and good ambience for family get together will round it up to 4. I will come back to try the chef's seafood specials in a few weeks.

The restaurant offers an exciting selection of Thai street food, which we found to be enjoyable in terms of ingredients, flavors, and service. I couldn't confirm the authenticity of all the dishes, because I felt there were too many options compared with other Thai restaurants I had been. Also note that the prices were on the higher side, which may be a drawback for some.

I came here on a Friday night with no reservation and got seated quickly with a party of two! Good: I liked my dish which was a fish curry since it was unique and the fish balls had a lot of flavor. I liked the noodles that came with it as well. Portion sizes are good too and the menu feels unique! Bad: The place is quite casual, service is a bit slower. Overall solid menu and might try some other things next time!

Overall just an ok spot for Thai food. Not bad but not great - somewhere in between. They had good portion sizes for the price. The fried spring rolls were solid, but the Pad Thai and Green Curry lacked flavor.

Went there twice. Both the thai fry rice and pineapple fry rice taste good. For all the dishes, their flavor are really good. But the problem is the meat is not that good. Chicken breast meat is really dry. Crispy pork skin is really hard to chew like belt. Maybe go with vegetables can solve the problem. It is a okay choice but I won’t crave it.

Lots of options to choose from and they have Thai street food menu as well. If you are a vegetarian, they have good options for you too! We ordered a Thai Basil chicken fried rice and a veggie pad kee mow with a spring rolls. Everything tasted good. The service could definitely see some improvement.

I ordered the Kow Prick Kang over rice, with the Prawn option. The prawns were nice and large. I requested the dish to be very spicy, and it was actually very spicy. It cost $20 which seemed a bit too expensive for a strip mall/plaza restaurant. The service was not that great. They only came once to collect our order. They did not come around again until it was time to pay the bill. I only had 1 tissue, which was not enough for spicy food. They should pay more attention to this and improve their service.

I like this restaurant. Food is great. Price is not expensive compared to other restaurants in Bay Area. The only thing I do not like is their tip is calculated based on after-tax amount. I will still come in the future though. I also ordered Tom yum, great portion and taste! Three dishes for two is slightly too much but I was hoping to try different food.

My family went here for dinner on a weekday night. No wait at 6:30pm. Attentive wait staff and service was reasonably fast. Food was tasty and presentation was simple but not significantly better than other Thai restaurants in the valley. Yet it costs $22 for an entree. Those are Michelin Gourmand Bin level prices for food that is neither unique or spectacular in taste or presentation. Thanks but no thanks. Food in the valley is not for mere mortals anymore.

Decent food. The Taro Samosa was interesting and tasted good. We ordered Khao Soi, Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao - All tasted great! The Thai iced tea wasn't the best but helped with the spice from noodles. Service was good and the food arrived pretty fast.

Eh, it's okay but I was expecting authentic Thai taste. Minced pork was bulked w/ lots of chopped veg, and while I appreciate the veg was fresh, it just tasted wrong. The egg was sad - fully cooked hard fried egg, almost like it was prepped ahead of time. Pad kra pao without a runny egg?! 😭 Delivery promptly and hot.

Takeout orders take wayyyy too long. Placed an order online (and ahead of time) for 6pm. Waited for 40 minutes inside the store until I finally got my food. They seem to prioritize in store sit down orders, so just be aware. What’s the point of having online order scheduling if they don’t even manage this properly?

I think the food is not fresh, the pad Thai and papaya salad are the worst. The rice likes leftover! The food is very dry, carrots are like they have been dried for several days. There is a white hair in the curry. I didn't tell the them. I am not a person who likes to give bad reviews. This restaurant cannot be compared with Must be Thai. It’s not worth to spent $80 for two people.

Service and food were acceptable, but the tipping/payment process was frustrating. I was prompted to leave a tip for a minimum of 18% even after an original 18% tips were already included, and it wasn’t clearly communicated.

The front desk staff had a terrible attitude. I really don’t understand why they would put a table right in the middle facing the door. Cold air kept blowing in all night. We had only been seated for a short while when we asked if we could switch tables, and they told us we would have to go back on the waiting list. But when we arrived earlier, we literally saw two other tables being moved. Are they just picking on customers? I will absolutely never come back to this place. The food is not cheap, the taste is average, and the service attitude is awful.
