Phenomenal oysters and sourdough bread. Simple, effective, flavorful, fast, and perfectly prepared. I got the wood grilled ones, and they were perfectly done, not overcooked like many do, just a nice smokeiness yet still creamy and a nice touch of garlic. Trest yourself and enjoy!

Don’t know why there aren’t more reviews for this place. A friend and I stayed in town over night. Went to eat at a highly rated restaurant but we’re unfulfilled with our meals. So we stopped in to Murphys grade for some oysters and man were they the best oysters I’ve ever had!!! I wish we had gone there from the start.

Great food and amazing customer service! We tried the lobster bisque and the clam chowder; both were incredible and served piping hot. We also ordered the mulled wine and the spiked apple cider, and they both had such great flavor. The staff was super friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. Definitely worth a visit!

The best lobster roll I’ve ever had! The oysters were phenomenal, especially when paired with all of the homemade hot sauces. The CBD one was my favorite. The proprietors are lovely, the best dining experience in Murphys!

What a wonderful establishment. Delicious food and incredible staff. They didn't know it was my birthday weekend and they still made me feel special! This was my 3rd experience with oysters and definitely the best! 100% will visit again. Smaller menu, but when you're doing it this great, there is no reason for anything more ❤️

Murphys Grade CBD & Oyster Joint is an absolute must when in Murphys, CA! The food is incredible. The menu is a triumph!! I recommend coming in when you have time to enjoy leisurely courses. Raw or BBQ oysters, the most amazing charcuterie, house smoked halibut, and don’t get me started on all the house made sauces and toppings!

Great selection of oysters! We really enjoyed the homemade bread and the homemade oyster sauce. The staff was friendly, and the sake was good. I suggest trying the grilled oysters.

This is the reason I will come back to the end of highway 4. The chowder was so delicious and their home made sauce was to die for I bought a bottle. We spoke with a few staff members who really took the time to chat with us and learn about each other and how we all ended up at Murphy's. It was the type of moment that really nourishes the dream of travel. They had a flurry of oysters and food and even the beer tapping system. It's hard to describe but it's everything i want in a restaurant. Just add nachos. 🤣 Thank you all for the great experience. I will be back !

I dream of this place...its our absolute favorite place to eat when we come to Murphys. I can't even describe how good the oysters are we always get 2 orders of the bbq spicy and as I write this my mouth is watering. The lobster roll is to die for its the perfect balance of buttery perfection to lobster they do not disappoint EVER! The owners are such wonderful people and the staff is warm friendly funny and treat you like family. If you aren't coming to eat here then you are sleeping on the best resturant in town!! You will not be disappointed!!!!

I come to town every 3 or 4 months. Love the changes over the last 10 years, but this has become my lunch spot. Several varieties of oysters, best clam chowder ever, fresh bread with softened butter. They also have açai bowls. It's never overly crowded. Large selection of local and worlwide wines.

So many wonderful things to say about Murphys Grade. For me it’s the Oyster. For my older son it’s the experience he loves walking around the shop and asking a million questions. For my youngest it’s the Açai bowls. There is truly something for everyone. Don’t like Oysters? Don’t worry they will have something for you to love.

I did not expect to be in Murphys CA and find one of the best seafood centric restaurants I have had the pleasure to experience. Started with the smoked halibut. It was high end quality, generous portion, the jalapeños were a great accompaniment and pickled to tame the spice. Then we split grilled oysters 50/50 with the Habanero butter. PERFECT cook, not over. The spice does not over power, subtle and well balanced but good spice. The garlic butter is fantastic if you don't handle spice well. Finally we tried the hot lobster roll with garlic butter. This restaurant will rival any seafood restaurant in North America. The food is fresh and made with care and skill you cannot find in many major cities. This is that good. If they relocated to New Orleans they would rival anyone, and I love NOLA as a food destination. Please visit, it's an absolute treasure. Oh, great wine list with very reasonable mark up too. Enjoy.

Hands down the best clam chowder I've ever had! The lobster was plump and sweet- outstanding! Great atmosphere inside. Everything was high quality, and staff was friendly. We ended up at this restaurant because a local said we HAD to go, that we wouldn't be disappointed and we were not!

Enjoyed it, lobster roll, ahi tuna, 12g caviar plate, clam chowder and fresh oysters and some wine and cold brew for 200 bucks very nice surroundings.
