Last night was my second experience at this venue. The Tavern was cozy and the food delicious. Our server was a delight! We had a 6:30 dinner reservation and attended the event for 8pm. Plenty of time to eat and chill before the music. The music event, both visits, was EagleMania! They really are the BEST Eagles cover band - EVER! Highly reccomend checking out both the venue and EagleMania.
What a gem! My family had an after holiday get together lunch here... the food was delicious, our server Philip was fantastic, and the atmosphere truly eclectic! So glad I found The Tavern, just north of the hustle & bustle of the village. Check it out the next time you're in town 🤗
The food is farm to table and you can tell. Everything we had was DELICIOUS. The caesar salad was amazing and the Irish dip was one of the best I've ever had. The wine was also so good, definitely on the sweet side but very nice. They also have lovely live music. Highly highly recommend!!
We had a delicious Mother's Day dinner at The Tavern!! The dinner was farm to table fresh and so mouthwatering delicious! I enjoyed a glass of their wine so much I bought a bottle to take home. Our host Rocco couldn't have been more accommodating and we enjoyed talking with him as he told us they have music events as well in an adjoining building. Got to check it out! A definite return visit!
This was a great place to grab a drink and lunch before walking around Peddlers village. The staff was very friendly and the live music was relaxing and entertaining. We started with a few flights of wine. My wife loved the warm mulled wine. All of my wines were delicious. The food was also delicious. My meatloaf sandwich was sooo good! My wife got the bangers and mash. Our experience was great we will definitely stop here again for the wine music and food.
Firstly, I want to share how amazing the service was. Typically, wine flights are only served until 3pm. We were there at around 4:30pm. Our waiter, Rocco, said that because it wasn't too busy, he could accommodate us to serve a flight. Additionally, when we wanted to know what cheeses were included, the (owner/Becca/Rebecca?? Sorry, we forget!!!) Came over to us personally to tell us the same of each cheese and flavors. Then, when we were interested in taking home more of the jelly included with the Artisan cheese board, they happily accommodated us and packed us jelly and added it to the check. It just felt like they really cared and were willing to make modifications on the spot, which was amazing. Also, last but not least, the food was absolutely delicious. My boyfriend got the roasted chicken and he was nearly gnawing at the bone. I got the reuben sandwich, which was a speciality, and the meat was incredibly tender and the sauekraut was delicious and sweet. We had a really great time here and we are definitely going to come back. As much as we wanted some of the homemade ice cream, it will have to wait until next time!!
What fun we had on a Saturday night listening to live music, the British Invasion. My hub reserved a high top for two and we sat comfortably with a side view which was fine. Lots of parking, clean and comfortable restrooms and plenty of wine if you wanted some. We had just come from dinner so didn’t want anything more. Will be checking out future line ups. That is not to happen. This was Nancy (my wife) last review. About a month latter she had surgery and they found cancer. The doctor told me to send her home to say goodbye. Five months later she past away. Where she went I don't know. But I'm sure if she could she would write a review about it. I miss you and still love you Nancy
The food was delicious and the venue to see a show was wonderful!!!
Great food. I had the chicken salad sandwich and my wife had crab cake. Awesome atmosphere. They had live music while we were there. We were there for the Leah Marlene concert which was great!
Chef crafted and very good food, great service allowed me to sub lemon for lime in iron maid drink. Live Guitar music, interesting atmosphere. We had Stacey mom beer, iron maid drink. We had vegetable empanadas and potato leek soup for appetizers and we had seafood pasta with salmon and shrimp. Freshly made key lime pie.
What do you do in a rainy Sunday? Go to the Tavern at New Hope Winery. Great live music, delicious wines and the food is incredible. Big shout out to our server, Dee, for making it so lively.
Friendly staff, good food and enjoyed live music on Saturday evening. The Tavern at New Hope Winery closes at 8pm and they were happy to put in an order of Crab Cakes from the kitchen 15 minutes before closing. We will be back next time we’re passing through.
New hope winery was AMAZING and delicious. I took my mom here for Mother’s Day, she has a gluten allergy. We wanted the cheese board but she couldn’t eat the crackers, so the chef personally made her gluten free toasts. Their crab cakes were also gluten free and my mom never gets to eat that so she was in heaven! She said quote, the crab cakes were “heaven” all the food was amazing and fresh, and Rocco’s customer service and attentiveness was 100/10. He was so kind and friendly and made us feel special on this day! Check this place out, I guarantee you will be blown away!
Had a great lunch here coming out of New Hope. Ordered a Weyerbacher local beer and soup to start. The short rib sandwich was amazing! Someone was playing guitar when I came in, setting the mood nicely. The bartender was friendly and social. Great bar!
I love the intimate venue for seeing live shows.
Love this place😍!!! When we are in Pennsylvania we always make it a point to stop in to see Sandra & Chef Larry. Food is always delicious and the homemade desserts are a perfect ending to a great meal!! You will not be disappointed!!
Great place to spend an evening with friends or adults family. Great service and food
Stopped here on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. Good draft beers and the food was awesome! Nice atmosphere for an outdoor lunch. Wound definitely come back.
1st visit, we both really enjoyed the Salmon dinner/yum!
We had dinner here before going to New Hope for a walk around the stores and to see an event, this place was very good. The place was good for food, but it is nothing next to the concert hall, that place is soooooooo nice. You have the best seats it's like going to the movies and no matter what seat you have here you'll have a perfect seat. Coming and going from here is so easy, too, with free parking.
Drinks were amazing, services is kind and friendly. Just a very limited food menu
Rocco was our server and he was amazing!! Our first time there and he was so friendly and helpful!! We will definitely be back again!!!
Loved this place. Great waiter, live music and the best prime rib sandwich ever. You must get the Irish Dip. Also, a nice beer selection which I liked.
Such a great little venue to see a band, have a drink and enjoy a night out!
Love this place! Love the atmosphere. Love the Service. Dee is the sweetest!! Always greeted with a smile and she just makes it such a pleasant experience. She and the incredible wine , cocktails and food, keep us coming back!!
The food was amazing. I mean amazing. The atmosphere was totally chill and super relaxing. Dee the bartender was really awesome and she also personally makes the pumpkin bisque
I always have a wonderful experience here! Great food, and gluten free crab cakes!! I have to eat gluten free for medical reasons, so it means the world to me to have a delicious option like that. There's also really lovely GF cider there. The service is friendly and caring, there's frequently live music, and just a really good vibe in general.
This place was historical! We stopped in for an appetizer and drinks and Dee was so welcoming!! She had wine suggestions and was so very personable. Best homemade flatbread ever!! We are definitely coming back on our next visit to beautiful New Hope, PA! 🥰
What a gem! We had tickets to see Eaglemania at the venue. Made sense to have dinner there at the Tavern. Farm to table, salmon and chicken dishes were outstanding! Friendly service, great venue! Will be back for sure.
Absolutely fabulous Our server Dee made us feel right at home We started off with seasonal cocktails and a charcuterie board of cheese and meat We then had a delicious white, crab cakes, shrimp and Irish dip We’ll definitely be back next year! We came for the Holly Jolly
We had an awesome dinner last night while listening to great music! We would highly recommend the Hawaiian Pork Belly on cornbread. Caesar salad and shrimp were also exceptional! So delicious and great service!
We stopped by for an afternoon lunch during a fun happy hour! First time visiting. We each had a nice glass of wine and really good food. I had their delicious chicken salad and my friend had the Winery Flatbread. Seasoning for both were spot on!!! We will definitely return. Would be a great dining experience before a concert in the attached music venue.
One of best place in New Hope. Every dish was delicious. Hioiday spice was tasted like a chilled version of Vin Chaud. Niagara wine was sweet with full flavor but not too sweet like a dessert wine. Solebury white wine is crispy , sweet and little dry white wine with good flavor. We ended uo buying few bottles. Most importantly very friendly service
Amazing restaurant and winery! We came here with 12 girls for my sister’s bachelorette trip while staying in New Hope. The team here was great and set us up with a big table and great service. Our waitress Kimberly was the best and took care of us. Highly recommend!
My day started with sadness saying goodbye to a great man gone to soon. But I decided to have a toast and a meal in his honor. Andy Rios. And I am so glad I did. My honest opinion is that if I could be here daily, I would. Food and Staff are the best with every visit is just outstanding. Once again portion the food is enough for another meal. The Blackberry Wine is the Best I have ever had. This is not just a Winery but also a tavern with food and music and a place everyone should frequent. Yes they have music venues out back but it is the amazing restaurant that you need to come to! Once they know your name and face you are home with friends! A local Cheers Bar and eatery. Simply the Best!
Short review- Fantastic fresh- farm to table food, great cocktails and beer - all very reasonably priced and extremely friendly and responsive staff made our first visit to the New Hope Winery a great experience. Highly rated. Long Review: We have driven by this place many times and always thought it looked interesting. We finally stopped in on a sunny Friday early evening. The place is an absolute gem. I strolled in and was immediately taken by the cool local vibe. There was a man plying electric piano and a woman singing great classic rock songs and we immediately knew it was a cool place. My wife and I sat at a live edge table and ordered original recipe, delicious and very well priced cocktails and then dinner. My Back n Black shrimp with horseradish slaw and mashed potatoes was fantastic, my wife had a winery salad with grilled shrimp. Both were fresh, perfectly prepared and delicious. Highly recommended.
Great atmosphere, excellent service, and awesome food! Had a very nice lunch there today.
Booked reservations thru Open Table. Charming repurposed barn …converted to create a dinning experience. Our waiter (Rocky ?) was somewhat familiar with building history. The Food is good. Come in hungry…go out ready for a nap. Second highest Price I’ve encountered for Pork Chops. $7 - $10 higher
The atmosphere and staff was awesome. Such a great place to get a group together. Flatbreads were pretty good, nothing special. Loved it.
The food was delicious. Drink prices were a little high! It was warm inside, but they said they were running on a generator because of a storm.
This was our first time here, eating before seeing a yacht rock review in the adjoining venue that is just behind the tavern. We sat at the bar, our favorite spot in any restaurant. The atmosphere isn't spectacular and there's a giant beverage fridge with bright lights staring you in the face at one and of the bar, so choose your seats carefully. I had the coldest glass of Stella ever, served in the appropriate glass, so that was wonderful. The bartender was extremely friendly and nicely attentive without being overly so. I had a prime rib sandwich that was delicious, but it was served with chips which I dont live at a restaurant unless they're house made which these were not. My husband had a jambalaya which he enjoyed but I did not try. It was a nice evening, dining in the tavern and then taking the very short walk to the back venue for a nice little concert.
Had a nice time. Service was fantastic. The food was ok. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.
We went for an event at the winery and then had dinner. Before that we're in the bar and the service was just horrible..... Took 10 minutes to get a drink and since we did not get there at the same time you waste a lot of time. Dinner was good though in the event was fun.
We were a party of 6 without a reservation. Waitress, Kimberly, says she will see if she can accommodate us upstairs. The place was nearly empty. We get a table downstairs. When she is taking our food order and two of us order soup she says, snarkily, I get a table for six and you only order soup? Mind you, we had already ordered alcohol drinks and everyone else ordered sandwiches and a meal. That comment was so unnecessary. Drinks were good, food was good. Entertainment was good and the female singer actually came up to our table to thank us for singing along. We could have stayed for more drinks but decided after that remark to finish and leave. We will NEVER return.
Nice atmosphere, we were there right at 12 on Friday and they were very accommodating. Our server Megan was super helpful and super sweet! Food was very good, I had the chicken salad, so tasty! However, they had no fries to accompany any of the sandwiches! We were told they have no fryer. Not sure what happened but a review from ten months ago showed steak fries for the fish and chips. How bout getting an air fryer? Any way, wine at the table is super expensive… warning…. 35$ a bottle at the table expensive! But… lesson learned as I was leaving I stopped at their wine counter to buy a bottle for home… only $20!
Small intimate feel to concert hall. You feel like the artist is part of the crowd all having a good time together. Friendly audience and polite. A nicer selection from the snack bar would have bumped them up one more star. A larger and better laid out bathroom would have improved the experience also. The artist gave it her all on stage and the crowd responded in kind in a show of mutual support. I would be willing to see another show there but I will be sure to eat before the concert. I brought my daughter and we both had a good time.
As a visibly gay couple upon arrival, the hostess informed us that open tables were reserved for the upcoming show tonight and that we could sit at the bar, but we might be slow to get service there. Shortly after we learned that the show was actually being held in their event space out back and the restaurant itself was being closed at 5. Some servers would not interact or even look at us while we sat at the bar. Food is wonderful and very fresh, the general aesthetic is cute and rustic, and the live music is a great addition. Direct server was great—he was attentive and friendly. Experience may depend on who serves you.
Let me start with the positive of the atmosphere. The building is very nice and the wait staff was also super friendly. The food was highly disappointing. I ordered the fish and chips. The breading was a disappointing and I didn't like the flavor of the fish. The potatos were soggy. The cabbage Cole slaw was also soggy and tasted like a week old salad. There are plenty of bars in Doylestown that sell great fish and chips for a reasonable cost but this was $24 for sub par food. Another issue we had was the fact that we were inside and the air-conditioning mind as well be turned off. It was cooler outside than it was inside and outside was about 85 degrees. I'm not exaggerating when I say it was over 85 degrees. I never leave bad reviews because I ran a small business and I know how that can affect business but my experience was not pleasant.
Nice place to visit. Food was very pretty, but not very good. Bill for two, including one glass of wine was about $100. Not cheap, not very good. Eat somewhere else before the concert. If you like my review, click like.
Server was so rude, chased after us after we left the dining room (we bought tickets for the music and went to the event venue) about her tip interrupting the live music and was so loud we were so embarrassed because everyone in that section heard and saw everything. Keep in mind this was about how we didn’t tip her enough when it was a simple misunderstanding over our bill for a large party (you can’t split the bill, and parties over 6 *stated on the menu*** have automatic gratuity, and paying with a cc there is a 4.99% charge so we all paid with cash, we made a mistake counting all of the bills in combination with our individual checks because some of us thought the gratuity was already included and apart of our total). We felt bad that we misunderstood this it’s absolutely our fault and realizing we made a mistake we felt awful, but why would it be on the menu if that’s not what we were charged? I wouldn’t have cared if she didn’t approach us the way she did, interrupting the entire show and yelling about our bill total and how much we left her as a tip…how unprofessional do you have to be to do something like that???? I’ve worked in the service industry for 7 years as a server and I would NEVER do that no matter how upset I was with the tip… we’re never going back I’ve never felt so mortified of an experience with a server in my life! One of the members of our table got a small charcuterie board, it’s literally just different meat with nothing else on the board. No cheese or crackers or anything, like you can buy that at the grocery store for cheaper than what my friend paid.
