An amazing experience thanks to Helli Helli advised us incredibly well. She took a lot of time to explain everything clearly and patiently, and even let us taste the products. She is extremely kind, caring, and attentive. I sincerely hope with all my heart that she succeeds in all her projects and has a beautiful life ahead of her. She truly deserves it. We need more people like her in this world.
it was literally insane how delicious these tacos were! they were so incredibly flavorful, the corn tortilla was homemade and fried to perfection while the spices and cheese just made it too good to be true. I am so glad I picked them for my fiancé‘s Mexican food craving during the football game as she was veryyyyy satisfied with the meal
We visited this restaurant twice for dinner with my friends, and I have to say we loved it both times. Despite being a small place, we were always able to find a table, and the staff was very friendly and patient with us. The food was absolutely amazing—so delicious that even months later, I still think about it almost every day. Everything was truly excellent. A great bonus was that it’s halal, which was a wonderful surprise. The location is also fantastic and very easy to reach from Times Square. I really recommend this place—everyone should try it at least once, whether you’re a tourist or a local!
This place sells a good alternative to Chipotle with bowls, burritos, and tacos, and even birria! They made the birria in particular to order, so it can take a bit longer than the assembly bowls, but it is worth it. The consomme is rich and plentiful, and the tacos have a good cheese pull with plenty of meat. The location itself is small on a side street, but not that easy to miss. Their options are all halal, so there is no pork, but you can get chicken and beef. Prices are also reasonable for the portions. Overall, a very good place to get some lunch.
I typically order online and pick up but today I went in to order in person and the service was phenomenal! All the workers were very receptive and at the central avenue location, Maaz specifically was kind and guided me through the entire experience! I really recommend Adobo not only bc their food is delicious but they are excellent in recruiting kind people!
This burrito bowl is absolute perfection — every bite is bursting with flavor. So fresh, colorful, and perfectly balanced — this bowl is a masterpiece. Fantastic service with a smile — you can tell the staff really love what they do. Super efficient and welcoming team — great job! You’ve built a wonderful team — their hospitality and energy truly stand out. Compliments to the manager for maintaining such high standards of service and quality. It’s clear your leadership inspires the staff everything ran so smoothly. Thank you for creating such a warm and well-managed environment. It really made the meal special
This place is like a chipotle but much better. The staff is very friendly, and they even let me taste the meat before ordering. This was a game changer, I went with the honey chicken instead of regular. The place is small, but has 2-3 tables. The food was very tasty and fresh. I recommend this place for lunch.
This was the best place where we’ve eaten while in New York. There were a girl and a boy and they’ve been super kind and patient because they let us try all the meet they had and been tough we were slow because of the language they kept being kind! Thanks a lot, i hope i can come back and i suggest this place to everyone!
I originally got turned on to Adobo during a late night jazz club crawl and wanted some Mexican at 3 AM. I’ve been a Adobo fan ever since. This time around I ordered some tacos for delivery. I got the 3 tocos set with a Mexican rice and black bean base, shredded chicken, and a couple toppings. All I can say is ‘wow’. As you can see in the pics, they were very generous with everything, and that made for a super delicious light meal. I can recommend Adobo without reservations. I’ve had a few things from there and they never disappoint. I ordered through Uber, which was easy. I live in Midtown East, and they’re on W 38, so delivery was very fast. Next time I get a Mexican urge in the middle of the night, I’m goin to my source; Adobo.
The food was amazing and super filling. Highly recommend.we were in a group of 15 but they have only 12 chairs to dine in . Its a small take not a restaurant but if you in a look of halal food to eat then this is your place. We spend $153 and share there portion between 2 people for 15 people so that's makes it 10 $ per person which is very economical.
This restaurant is amazing. The food is full of flavor and tastes fresh. I tried the tacos and enchiladas, and both were delicious. The guacamole was some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The place was clean and had a fun, welcoming atmosphere.
Absolutely amazing experience at Adobo Mexican Grill on 38th Street. The food is fresh, flavorful, and fully halal, which is a huge plus. I had the birria tacos and they were juicy, cheesy, and perfectly spiced. The place is super clean and modern inside, and the “Let’s Taco ‘Bout It” neon sign adds a fun vibe. The variety of toppings and sauces at the counter is impressive — they let you fully customize your meal. The staff was friendly and quick. Also, they’re open until 4:00 AM daily, which is perfect for late-night cravings. Highly recommend this spot to anyone in NYC looking for quality halal Mexican food.
If you're looking for a delicious, fresh, and halal take on Chipotle-style Mexican food, look no further than Adobe Mexican Grill! This place is an absolute gem. The service is outstanding—everyone is super friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Even during busy hours, the staff keeps things moving without compromising on quality. The food portions are amazing—definitely worth every penny. You get generous servings of flavorful, well-seasoned meats, fresh toppings, and perfectly cooked rice and beans. The burritos are massive, the tacos are packed, and the bowls are loaded with goodness. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell they use high-quality ingredients. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, making it a great spot for a quick meal. Despite the size, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. It’s the perfect place for a casual lunch or dinner, whether you're dining in or grabbing takeout. If you love Mexican food and want a halal-friendly option, this is the place to go. Highly recommend trying their steak or chicken—so flavorful! I’ll definitely be coming back.
The second Manhattan location of this Halal Mexican restaurant chain recently opened last month just blocks from Bryant Park. There are only 2-3 tables available for dining at this small location. Their menu features options such as tacos, burritos, quesadillas and the like. Their food is made to order in front of the customer, similar to that of Chipotle. Unlike Chipotle they have Birria tacos (Chicken and Steak) on their menu. I ordered a bowl with Cilantro Lime Rice, Honey Chipotle Chicken, spicy Queso Blanco, Pico Salsa, Guacamole, lettuce, corn salsa and topped with Sweet Mango Verde Sauce. All of the ingredients tasted fresh, and the staff was generous with the portions. I really enjoyed the chicken, it was tasty, soft and juicy. I also liked the mango verde sauce. I was worried it might be too sweet with the honey chipotle chicken but it all went well together. The service was quick, which I really appreciated. The total after tax (without tip) came to $15.87. This was a great meal for this price, especially for this neighborhood. So glad I gave this place a try. Tip: Sign up for their rewards program to earn points and get free items.
When you first walk in the atmosphere seems relaxed but the food has little to no flavor so I had to season to my liking a bone was in my boneless chicken I brought attention to It n they dismissed my warning telling me i didn’t find any bone but it stabbed me in my mouth so clearly there’s bone would not recommended might as well go chipotle .
