I came here for lunch and the Food is Delicious ! I ordered chicken pad Thai and it came with a salad and spring roll . I also ordered a Lychee lemonade and the presentation was so beautiful . I will definitely come back .
was a pleasure to dine here, service was very friendly and the food was scrumptious! new favorite Thai place:)
We ordered the curry puffs for an appetizer. They were soft and moist and tasty. The Kra Pow over rice was good but overshadowed by the two other dishes we ordered: Green Curry with tofu and Pad Prik Khing. The green curry was excellent and flavorful. But the biggest hit was the Pad Prik Khinh, which is a curry dish without coconut milk. It was a little spicy and excellent. (We ordered it with tofu, and I wish I hadn't because there weren't many string beans) For dessert we ordered the mango sticky rice which was also excellent and would have e paired nicely with a black tea or coffee.
I've eaten here a few times and I honestly love everything. My favorite goto meal is the basil fried rice. Its spicy but not overpowering. I usually get it with chicken or shrimp but the last time I tried it with the crispy duck and it was SPECTACULAR! It is on the pricier side of $28 but it was so worth it. The Thai iced tea and lychee iced tea are also really good drink options. There is an alcoholic beverage menu if you want. Only down side is the restaurant is pretty small but it gives a cozy feel.
I come here for lunch very often. The food is amazing and always comes out fresh. The staff is friendly and immediately available to serve you. I recommend all of my friends and coworkers here
I ordered the crab fried rice and mango sticky rice, and both were absolutely delicious! 🦀🍚 The crab fried rice was fragrant, perfectly seasoned, and came with generous chunks of crab. The mango sticky rice was fresh and sweet, with perfectly ripe mango and creamy coconut sauce—such a comforting dessert. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made. I’ll definitely be ordering from Bangkok 2 Thai again!
Absolutely incredible meal! The Pad Thai and Pad See Ew were bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced, and not overly greasy. The mixed veggies were fresh and crisp, while the calamari was lightly battered and super tender. And that Thai pancake? A crispy, chewy, sweet finish that sealed the deal. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine!
Bangkok 2 Thai is an excellent spot for both quick fix lunch and casual dinners. The restaurant’s decor is simple yet inviting with warm lighting and cozy ambiance. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. The portions of their dishes. are generous, and the flavors are authentic. Their Beef Krapow over Rice is outstanding, with tender beef, a perfect blend of spices, and just the right amount of heat. The Pla Rad Prik, a whole fish with a flavorful sweet and spicy sauce, is a must-try—crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside.
This is thai food restaurant that serves Bangkok street food in a cozy & artful ambiance. They opened their doors in 2010, more than a decades ago, so you know they have been around. They serve several thai dishes but some of our favorites are the Mocktails, Ground Beef Krapow & Crab Fried Rice.
The best thai food in the area!!! Huge portions, you can tell it’s made with love. I usually take out, but i decided to try dining in and the presentation is great. Staff are very sweet too. pictured is the Basil fried rice with fish, and pineapple fried rice with shrimp which are our go to orders and always flavorful. i tried the golden shumai with sweet chili and it was delicious. The duck rolls were fresh and filling! <3
So delicious, the only thing I wish i could've eaten was the plate, because I did not want the sauce to go back to the kitchen. The flavor was so good, im afraid to drink water to make, the flavor leave my taste buds. def will make a return the next time im in the area. Highly recommend, and a gem undiscovered.
This restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience! The crab fried rice was absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The rice was fluffy, with generous portions of fresh crab, making every bite a delight. The Tom Yum soup was also outstanding, bursting with tangy and spicy flavors. The basil chicken dish was savory and perfectly complemented by the crispy fried egg on top. The spring rolls were a crispy, tasty starter, and the Thai iced tea was the perfect drink to wash it all down. The ambiance was cozy, and the service was quick and friendly. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Thai cuisine!
This place is a hidden gem! It’s been around for 14 years, and their fried rice dishes are unforgettable: the KraPow over rice is super flavorful with sweet and spicy Thai basil chicken, and the Crab Fried Rice tastes just like authentic Thai street food. The Steak Basil Fried Rice is rich and delicious too! For appetizers, don’t miss the Crab Rangoon—so creamy! I love their coconut milk soup and Tom Yum soup too, you can taste a nice balance. For dessert, the Mango Sticky Rice is a must-try—sweet mango with warm sticky rice, coconut milk and flakes.. Highly recommend!
We were looking for Thai food near me and was pleasantly surprised to find this Thai Food next block! We ordered the curry puffs chicken wing as an appetizers which were delectably flaky and flavorful. For entrees we got crab fried rice and pad see wu which were both wonderful! Service was great as well, the lady is so warm and welcoming.
My sister and I stopped by here for dinner on a Sunday evening. They took our reservations online right away and seated us five minutes before the restaurant opened, which was super nice of them. We ordered the chicken Pad Thai, their famous Krapow over rice with crispy pork, a Thai iced tea, and a beer. The Pad Thai was well-cooked, but a bit too salty for our taste. The Krapow over rice had an authentic flavor. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, just the type I enjoy while dining in Manhattan. The service was excellent. Both servers were very polite and fast. All in all, even though this isn’t my favorite Thai place in New York, I give it an A+ in terms of service and casual/comfortable atmosphere.
Ordered here because the online menu says they have a $10.95 lunch special, only to show up in person and be charged $16. I told the woman who works there I’d pay the $16 but showed her where it says $10.95 online. They didn’t seem to care that their own website is showing “decade old” prices. They also got my order wrong. Would skip this place and go to Malii down the block for better food worth the price and nicer ambience.
Unfortunately I have to give this place 1 star. The chicken pad see ew lacked so much flavor. I’ve never had bad thai food until now. The green curry was okay wouldn’t recommend either. For $18 each I expect the dishes to taste at least decent. Im seeing a lot of good reviews so maybe today was an off day. Staff was friendly though!
SKIP THIS PLACE. Gross interior. Overpriced. Low Quality. Poor communication. Current rating way off, over-bloated. Disgusting: Dirty meat-packing-panels past entry door (why?) Grimy floors kitchen & seating area. Gritty lettuce, assuming unwashed, YUCK. Someone please call the inspectors! And what’s up with the wall art, who’s that kid? Took 3 times to understand server’s answer of “what vegetables are in the Garden Delight?”
