Avaliações de E.A.K. Ramen New York
This is the second time I’ve eaten here when visiting New York. This time we had a late lunch, the place was nice and quiet, perfect for a pre flight meal. My colleague had the Oh so hot with a seasoned egg. And I had the vegan ramen with a spice bomb. I love that this place does the toppers for free. So full of flavour, a rich broth with perfectly cooked noodles and veg. I also tried the agedashi tofu which was soo tasty, the tofu was soft with a light batter and the sauce kind of sweet and buttery. The lychee soda was also soft with a refreshing and delicious. The staff are so helpful with menu and it’s a speedy service.
Delicious ramen menu with very rich and flavourful broths. They have very distinct options for adventurous palates, like the Wasabi marinated raw octopus. I recommend all and any of their ramen with pork, chicken and vegan options. I used to attend 3-4 times per week during fall so I got to try all of them. They have seasonal ramen options as well. The service was always attentive and kind. They also have very tasty calpico.
I’ve tried multiple tonkotsu ramen all over United States and they never really tasted as rich as the authentic ones. This one is definitely the best one I’ve tried that has come close to it. The broth was so creamy and rich and the noodles also had bouncy texture. Just so good for cold days
I came here for their dinner service and thought that it was solid! Located in Hell’s Kitchen, this Japanese spot offers a variety of Japanese dishes from sashimi to rice bowls to ramen to other small bites. Service here was fairly quick. We ordered their takoyaki, spicy fried rice, mapo ramen, and their zebra ramen. Everything was pretty good! The takoyaki was crispy and had big pieces of octopus in it (I just wish they also added bonito flakes to the takoyaki), and the spicy fried rice was full of flavor. Both of our ramen choices were full of depth and great for a cold day. Not a bad spot for some casual Japanese food!
Very good ramen noodles (not overcooked and springy) with good chashu and broth. I had the butter version which is creamier. Good size chicken karaage appetizer with different sauces options. There's a line even on weekdays but the food hit the spot, especially on a cold day. The only issue is the tables are literally next to each other to maximise space so it is very crowded and noisy.
I absolutely loved my ramen amd appertizers here!! The Tokyo Chicken Ramen Chuka Soba was so flavorable and delicious. The chicken tasted perfectly cook. I even slurped some of the broth! The Karrage Chicken is a great pieces of fried chicken. It was served hot. It was crispy and delicious. I would 100% come back when I am in the city again. I hope to show others how wondergul food and service was.
On a chilly night, nothing hits the spot like a good bowl of ramen—and E.A.K. Ramen did not disappoint. I had the Oh-So-Hot Miso Ramen, and it was packed with flavor and just the right amount of heat. The portion was generous without being too much, and I left completely satisfied. The vibe was relaxed, and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommend!
Great izakaya spot in theatre district that's good for quick lunch or fun dinner. Remember an amazingl popup experience when they took over Ramen lab when it was still open. Large standard izakaya menu selection, good ramen with flavorful broths. Friendly attentive service throughout the meal.
We really love this restaurant. It’s on a really cute blog and the restaurant is beautifully decorated. We ordered a bunch of things, including the oh so spicy miso Ramen, the wasabi marinated raw octopus, chicken carriage, and the poke bowl. Everything was really really good and just hit the spot!
My favorite ramen spot in the city. Perfect for a late meal after a Broadway show. I’ve tried almost every ramen on the menu — including the vegan options — and they’re all packed with flavor. The broth is consistently rich and delicious. My top pick is the Zebra Shio. I usually get the gyoza too — super juicy and yummy. Highly recommended!
Solid ramen if a bit inconsistent, but their broth is amazing. Ordered the EAK and the Zebra. EAK broth was sublime, some of the best I’ve had in the city. Noodles were fine and chewy, but the pork was VERY dry and disappointing. Zebra broth was rich but not as buttery as I expected (in a good way) - the garlic flavor hits you over the head more than the butter. Noodles were too mushy, and the pork was a little more tender than in my bowl but still dry. If they could improve the chashu and maintain consistent quality across bowls, EAK would be a serious contender for best ramen in the city.
The ramen spot was a total vibe. Clean setup, chill lighting, and that cozy kind of place where you could hang with friends for hours. The broth was actually really good—rich, flavorful, and not crazy salty like some places. The noodles had that perfect bite, and everything looked fresh. The food itself? Solid. The service though… not it. I had to literally flag someone down just to order, then again to pay. It wasn’t even packed, so that part felt off. Maybe they were short-staffed or just not paying attention, but it kinda killed the flow. I’m from Houston, so maybe I’m biased, but the meat portions were weak. For what you’re paying, I expected more. The flavor carried, but it didn’t give that “wow, I need to come back tomorrow” feeling. More like, “yeah, that was decent.” Overall, it’s a chill spot if you’re craving ramen and want a cool atmosphere. The broth and noodles do their job, but nothing here screams life-changing. Worth trying once, but probably not a regular go-to
Found the flavours of the tonkotsu ramen with garlic oil very meh. No aroma at all and the noodles have no chew. Nice job on the egg though
This definitely taste homemade and fresh to order food. I got the Tokyo Chicken Shoyu Ramen. A lot of chicken and a lot of onions (diced onions & green onions). If you don't like onions don't get this dish. The broth was flavorful not intense though I wish I would've had the option to make it spicy. The chicken had little flavor. And although I did have to take some of the onions out because it was too much they actually compliment the broth really well. I also got the 5pc Chicken Karaage. Fried chicken thigh pieces served with 2 of your choice sauces. I went with the spicy garlic and curry. Spicy garlic, was oil with toasted garlic & chili flakes.. I believe. Not spicy at all nor does it have a garlic flavor, still good, but misleading. The Chicken Karaage was hot, fresh and juicy. Also got the Veggie Fried Rice, which is not the fried rice most of us are used to. This had bell peppers, mini tomatoes, celery and like 2 pieces of tiny cauliflower. Though I'm glad I tried it, it really lacked flavor. Overall, food was hot and fresh but left much to desire flavor wise. Service from my experience was great. We got to sit outside and even though we were the only ones out there, they were very attentive to our needs.
