Gardenia Terrace is one of my favourite hookah lounges in NYC. It’s the kind of place where you walk in and instantly feel good. The ambiance is beautiful, the service is genuinely welcoming and caring, and the live DJ always sets the perfect mood. On top of that, they have some of the best cocktails, food, and hookahs you’ll find in the city. Every visit feels like a guaranteed great time. Whether I’m there for a date night or just relaxing with friends, the vibe is always spot-on — fun, comfortable, and effortlessly enjoyable. It’s one of those rare spots that delivers every single time, no matter the occasion. And I have to say: their lychee martini is to die for! Highly recommended.

This hookah lounge has great music, a really good vibe, and a welcoming atmosphere. The food is actually excellent, better than expected, and the service is warm and attentive. The waitresses are very generous and friendly, and the DJ does a great job keeping the energy right throughout the night. Overall, it’s a great place to relax, enjoy good food, and have a good time.

Gardenia has been one of my favorite places to go consistently in the city for almost a decade. If you don’t like it, that’s actually a personal problem - I don’t make the rules! The DJs make you feel like you’ve been transported to Mykonos or Tulum. The food is fire, and the kitchen is open late - clutch. And the service staff is incredibly friendly and fun. There are certain nights that will give you certain vibes, but I want to gatekeep a bit, so I invite folks to try out different nights to see what your preferred vibe is. All in all incredible go-to spot.

The staff is incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always makes sure we’re comfortable and taken care of. Lilly, in particular, is amazing — she goes above and beyond every time. Along with the other staff, they are always accommodating, friendly, and genuinely care about their guests, which makes such a big difference. The atmosphere is great with great music, the service is consistent, and it’s just an overall great vibe. We always look forward to coming back and highly recommend Gardenia Terrace to anyone looking for a great hookah lounge with even better people.

One of the most amazing places I’ve been to in the city! Staff are some of the nicest people I’ve met at restaurants and lounges taking care of anything and everything I’ve needed let that be with food, drinks or hookah. The hookah guys that make and change coal come regularly and make sure the hookah is still enjoyable. Drinks are amazing and the DJ makes your time enjoyable in the spot. I will def make this a recommendation for anyone that wants a good night out for friends, date night or just a solo night out and to enjoy their time and money!

Went Friday after work with my coworker, we had a good time, but the experience was quite expensive. Drinks, food and hookah were good. As well as the service, I just wish they played more urban music. The atmosphere was pretty nice, in my opinion, it gives the vibe of a coffee shop and lounge. Between the two of us, we spent $276 on fried calamari, 2 lamb sliders, 2 lychee martinis, 2 gardenia passion, 2 vodka shots, and $40 hookah. Oh and they automatically add 20% gratuity to the bill!
