We were visiting NYC for my birthday and my husband and I had a beautiful and romantic dinner here. The at atmosphere was great and service even better, but nothing compared to the delicious food. My husband got a pasta in white wine and lemon sauce with shrimp and it was the best thing either of us had ever eaten. When we go back to New York we will make sure to stop at Nocello for dinner.
Great food, very good service and absolutely honest prices. After 3 years pause (due to pandemic restrictions) we had another visit today, Oct 16,2023 and the pleasure to enjoy excellent food - e. g. fantastic osso buco and very professional service. We‘ll be back whenever we come to NYC again.
The server Maitre D,bus service outstanding. We celebrated my brother inlaws73rd B day Beans and green's and Artichoke French Appetisers Superb Lasagna, Manicotti, Mushroom Pasta Perfect and the Linguini &Clam Sauce was the Best Kudos to All
The service was amazing. They couldn’t have been more friendly and the service…superb! My bffs had a great dinner and felt like we were at a good friends home in Italy!!
Amazing fresh beet salad and garlic bread started us off. The papparadelle with lamb sauce was perfectly al dente and delicious. A generous portion of Salmon was fresh and light, perfectly cooked over a bed of mixed vegetables.
I visited this restaurant years ago. Even though I am not from NYC and rarely visit, I will always remember the meal ( rack of lamb ). I loved the meal and the owner. It was such a special and welcoming experience and would recommend Nocello to anyone. ❤
Came into the city for an appointment. Met our nephew here, and the atmosphere and food were extremely good. For all you get, the prices are reasonable. Definitely be back.
The food and service was awesome but I have to start with the dessert! My waiter recommended the chocolate cake after my meal and I normally don't do dessert but I figured I'd splurge. Oh my dear lord this was the best dessert I've had in years! It was a sort of chocolate truffle cheesecake (I don't know what the actual name was) with a scoop of orange Gelato or orange-cream ice cream with it. The cake wasn't overwhelming rich, it was just right, and with the hint of citrus from the ice-cream it was absolutely divine! For my meal I had the Farfalle Alexander which I highly recommend as well. Everything about this restaurant was amazing, I will definitely be back!
Fantastic does not do the restaurant justice! The food was amazing. The service was great. You could not ask for a more exquisite dinning experience. One of the ways I judge a restaurant is the number of people laughing and having a good time. Everyone in the place was smiling or laughing. Beautiful.
Fantastic service, delicious food and great atmosphere. From the moment we walked in,to the end of the meal, the service didn't miss a beat. Their recommendations were wonderful. The highlight of our visit.
Excellent service and even better food. Certainly not the cheapest, but when the quality is this good it still constitutes good value. The restaurant is a charming intimate setting and the staff made us feel extremely welcome. Highly recommended.
Excellent food! I had a special that night which was a fish dish. I'm not a fan of fish because of the smell sometimes and this was great because it was fresh. Served with green beans, sliced potatoes and sliced carrots. Homemade pesto sauce surrounded vegetables.
Delicious food! Great service! We made an early reservation via open table and we’re seated immediately. The prices are reasonable to amount of food you get. The food was so delicious we forgot to take pictures!
First time visiting Nocellos on advise from a friend. Food, staff, service, atmosphere, price and everything's wonderful!!! Can't wait to come back next time in NYC. From TN.
Ate here with a party of 15 before a show at Carnegie Hall. Staff was very accommodating and patient with our group. Everyone was happy with their food. Oysters were a big hit!! Looking forward to going back next time we’re in town.
Elegant, simple atmosphere. Great wine list, by glass and bottle. Best crab cakes I've ever tasted. Perfectly cooked everything. Phenomenal tiramisu. Outstanding service. Love love love it.
We did a quick over night stay in the city and came by this cute Italian restaurant. Everything was beyond fantastic. The ambience, the food, the waitstaff were superb. We will definitely be returning to here our next trip in NY!
The food was delicious, a great menu to choose from and then their daily specials, fantastic. Servers were very attentive, almost too much. It was a great night visiting with old friends and one of their favorite restaurants.
My partner and I enjoyed this restaurant for Valentine’s Day when they opened up at 25% capacity in NYC and let me tell you it was a spectacular experience. First of all, in the COVID environment, safety is always an upmost concern. Nocello staff did a great job spacing out the tables and with the segmented structure of the dining area you really felt as if you were by yourself. All of the staff wore masks and they followed the temperature checking protocol etc. then the atmosphere for Valentine’s Day was incredible. I had read this was an extremely romantic restaurant to dine at and it did not disappoint. From the lights being a different color to the decorations and a special menu every detail was there to really make the experience special. Onto the food. They start you off with some bread, olives, and olive oil on the table. It was warm, tasty, and a great start to the meal. Then they had some great variety on appetizers we ended up going with the mussels in white wine, which was delicious. As you should we moped up the sauce with the leftover bread. The gnocchi appetizer was surprisingly light as well for restaurant made ones. I grew up making these and honestly would order them again from Nocello, which I don’t say often. I went with the parmesan crusted lamb chops for my entree, the flavor was savory yet light and had everything I could have wanted from the dish although a bit light portion wise. On the contrary my partner’s dish of the Pollo Romántico (Valentine’s special) was a larger portion so balanced out nicely. The chicken was juicy and flavorful well worth ordering even though I generally stay away from Chicken in restaurants due to its simplicity. The dessert was a homemade ganache heart that was adorable and a very nice touch for the holiday. Lastly, as any good Italian place should they had a great espresso and cappuccino to accompany the dessert too. Drinks wise they have an array of cocktails and an extensive wine list. We went with a Montepulciano Reserve that was delicious and didn’t break the bank. Lots of reasonably priced bottles so would recommend getting one here.
A friend and I went the other night and it was absolutely delicious!! We didn't expect much, it was seemingly a hole in the wall, but the food was astounding and the service was quite attentive, checking in us regularly. Would certainly return!
Amazing food and incredible service. We took our family there, 4 adults and a 3 year old. You guys were so hospitable and the food was out of this world. We really enjoyed our evening there. Thank you Nocello!!!!
The best Italian food I ever had. Crispy lamb chips are something out of this world. Also home made pastas and hot antipasto. Owners are very helpful. Highly recommend this place for pre-theater dinner!
Absolutely incredible Italian food! Small & quaint restaurant perfect for special occasions or business dinners. The staff and service is top notch as well! The best in house made cannoli I have ever had hands down! Highly recommend!
Was the best meal we had in New York so far. Would definitely come back. The pork chop special was very tasty and soft. The whole meal was a hit.
Excellent service. Best seafood pasta dish I've ever had. The manager even called me personally after I made a late reso to explain their kitchen closing time...just to be considerate in case we're running late! Will return again and again. Thanks!
Delicious appetizers, main and dessert. The atmosphere was terrific, with tables placed thoughtfully in the narrow space. The service was excellent, with the waiter keeping the wine glasses from running dry for our party of seven. The grilled calamari was a delicious change from the more frequently found fried version. The lamb chops were fantastic with the camper sauce. Finally, the Tiramisu was the perfect end to the meal.
Use to come to Nocello when in New York (generally November) many years ago. Came back in summer 2025. Still love the food. Try the ravioli, or whatever the waiter suggests
One of the nicest people I have ever encountered. And the food is very tasty 😋
Absolutely delicious. Disappointed we had to rush and didn’t have time for dessert.
The calamari and antipasto was the freshest I've ever had! I was really blown away as this dinner was superior to my visit to Italy last year! In addition, the homemade fettuccine, the pistachio cake and tirimisu were all extremely delicious and you could tell they were home made. Very light and creamy. The staff was very friendly and attentive!
Best of the best! The pasta is the best even very Italian style not like Cheesecake Factory style. We ordered seafood angel hairs with tomato sauce, they put so much seafood on it even more than the pasta. Very fresh tastes so good! Also clams linguini with white sauce, delicious!!!! Cheese cake is light my husband likes it. Great dinner! Highly recommend!!!
My family and I came here based on the starred reviews. This place did NOT disappoint. The food was amazing. Seasoned well, fresh pasta, and delicious sauces. We enjoyed the garlic bread and bruschetta bread, Vodka sauce with pasta and sausage was delicious, lamb osso bucco with spinach risotto was amazing, grilled chicken in Alfredo sauce was yummy, everything was good. The wait staff was very helpful and kind. Highly recommend!
Absolutely fantastic. We were exhausted and famished. Walked past this gorgeous, dimly-lit establishment with couples sitting outside and street level windows opened to let the evening breeze in. We, like the breeze, felt welcome. Their staff is phenomenal. Their specials all made me put the menu down as it was hard enough to choose between their tasty temptations. Please, treat yourself to exquisite service and delectable dishes aplenty. Thank you for everything.
Excellent experience at Nocello. I wanted to bring my partner here after I noticed the sign highlighting the level of comfort of the restaurant. I was impressed by the decor and ambiance. The service was respectful and timely. The prices were high, but we were happy to spend our money here. This establishment is impressive and respectable. It is on the more mature side, more sophisticated than your average restaurant. The service was very kind about explaining the menu and catering to our picky palettes. Overall, the restaurant was enjoyable and the food was delicious. I had a great time!
Great find in the city. It's elegant but cozy, with soft lighting. Great service and food and great wines! Take their recommendations when it comes to pairing wines. We ordered 7 courses for 3 people and they we all delicious. BUT MAKE SURE YOU DON'T LEAVE BEFORE YOU TRY THE POLENTA WITH MUSHROOMS. I had this same thing in Italy and the polenta at Nocello was better! Will definitely be back.
This was a great dining experience. I live here and before that I was a tourist for years, often finding myself in overpriced yet mediocre restaurants. My daughter was visiting and found this place by googling Italian nearby - what a delightful meal in a family owned restaurant where food and service were perfection. My daughter and husband stayed on and enjoyed after dinner drinks and food with the owners. This is now my favorite place near midtown/Uws.
My wife and I and another couple were in town for sightseeing and Nocello was recommended by a work colleague who works in Manhattan. We had a lovely evening. The staff was so very friendly and helpful and the food was excellent. We had great wine and even met and chatted with the owner who ended up treating us to some port to close our dinner. It's a cozy place right off the street. I definitely recommend it, particularly if you are looking for some good Italian bites.
The food & service here are absolutely phenomenal. My meal was so delicious that I think I shed a tear. The waitstaff is extremely attentive & prompt. Definitely one of my favorite Italian restaurants in NYC, which keeps me coming back! I’d highly recommend—try everything on the menu, including the specials!
Arrived ahead of our reservation time and were seated immediately anyway. Service was amazing never was a glass left empty or a need not met. The food was fantastic the grilled calamari was the best I have ever had. There wasn't a single negative aspect of our experience. Thank you!
These nice folks squeezed in our hungry party of five, and treated us like family. Delicious dishes, outstanding service, in a comfortable and friendly environment. Felt like I was visiting a cool friend who knows how to cook.
Delicious starters and entrees. The rustica bruschetta was the best I've ever had and I've been to Italy twice. Staff were attentive, friendly and really cared about good service. Highly recommend the mushroom ravioli and veal bolognese.
Cozy, charming, homey atmosphere. The food is delicious. Like eating in Italy. The owners are always there to make sure you are well satisfied.
A beautiful restaurant, with warm lighting and intimate dining. The ravioli di salute was life changing, I have feeling I will be chasing the quality of their red sauce until I can visit again. Truly felt like dining with family. The wine was delicious as well, the service was impeccable. Can’t wait to come back.
My wife and I have been to 1 Novello many times over the past several years and I didn't realize how much we missed this charming restaurant due to the pandemic. Last night we celebrated Valentine's dinner there with indoor dining...it almost felt normal. As usual the host is charming and inviting, the food was as great as always, my manhattan was perfect and my wife enjoyed a wonderful chardonnay. We shared a pasta course to start, penne with broccoli rabe, sausage and plenty of garlic...yum! For entrees I enjoyed the Chicken Romano and my with the parmesan crusted lamb chops. Too full for dessert. Don't wait any longer, run to 1Nocello tonight! Enjoy.
We get to NYC once a year (from Rochester) and we NEVER miss going to Nocello. We are greeted warmly, usually by the owner. The food is exquisite and the service--impeccable. Love this place!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city for a relaxing dinner. The halibut tonight was cooked perfectly, with a mix of vegetables and a light mustard sauce. The cozy environment and friendly hosts always make you feel at home.
Amazing food, interesting clientele. Recommend for date nights
The food was delicious. From the appetizers, to the main course, and the dessert. Had to be the best garlic bread I ever had. Yum all around
Legitimately one of the best Italian food I've had in my life. It felt like stepping into Italy for a bit. I'll be visiting with each subsequent New York Visit.
The best garlic bread in the world!! Seriously soft in the middle not soggy and crisp on the edge. Wouldn’t change a thing. Don’t go if your looking for bland chain Italian food thus place is for real cooking with the best fresh ingredients. Great service great wine even better food. Thanks for a lovely meal
We had an intimate 30th Anniversary dinner at Nocello during the NYC 2/23/26 blizzard. Isaak our waiter was wonderful as were the owners who welcomed us warmly. Food was delicious. The atmosphere is unpretentious, authentic European cafe.
All time favourite Italian restaurant in NYC. I have been going there for over 15 years once or twice a year when in NYC (I live abroad in France). I would not miss it for anything. Great service, great dishes, great service, great wine and great atmosphere...all these for resonnable pricing. What else...?
We had a delicious dinner that all 4 of us devoured. The warm, crispy bread was a great way to start the meal. The oysters were delicious, as was the carciofi. The lobster tail fettuccine was SO GOOD, the branzini was tasty, and the other two meals were reduced to empty plates with their owners loving what they ate. A good Chianti Reserva was sipped throughout. Dessert was a combination of a wonderful ricotta cheesecake, a scoop of salted caramel gelato, and a cannoli that everyone enjoyed. This meal was delivered by a warm and friendly staff. Thank you. We will definitely return.
We celebrated my husband Erick's birthday on January 19th (9 people) and had a very pleasant and delicious dinner. It's worth mentioning that we've been to this restaurant many times before and have always had a great experience. Food, drinks, service, and atmosphere: 100/100. We will definitely return and we recommend it 100%.
Small, charming, and impeccably clean. The mushroom soup was excellent, rich and flavorful without any cream. The pork chop was pounded thin, perfectly breaded, and topped with fresh salad and mozzarella. The angel hair pasta Elio with salmon and asparagus was outstanding. Dessert sealed the deal: a pistachio cake that was an unexpected and delightful surprise.
Lovely food. Great bread, pasta, and fish dishes. Pounded and crusted Baby lamb chops are consistently delicious. Excellent waiters. Solid and value based wine list. Comfortable and warm atmosphere. For over 20 years we have rarely if ever been disappointed. This is our go to restaurant where we are always welcomed back.
Never a bad meal. The owners take care that your mealtime is enjoyable and the staff don't constantly interrupt you. If you need something, all you need is eye contact.
We have been coming here for over 20 years when visiting the city. ALWAYS exceptional food and service. It has become a family tradition.
We are regulars taking our friends who are from out of town to Nocello. The special pork chops Milanese with a salad, and the lamb chops crusted in parmesan are absolutely delicious. They are well seasoned, has texture, and just on another level compared to the same dish at other restaurants. The wine is fantastic at a very reasonable price. My friend who is Italian says their cheesecake is homemade exactly how she expects a good Italian cheesecake to be: light crust with citrus scented filling, not sour or sweet. At this point we have encountered most of the staff and they are super friendly as always. This is a perfect restaurant for a regular night out or a special occasion due to it being affordable, atmospheric, and absolutely delicious food and drinks.
Hosted a dinner for 22 on April 16th. Walked into Nocello and a glass of champagne awaited each guest. Marinella & Constantino arranged a beautiful evening, pre printed menu, appetizers, pasta dish and an entree plus dessert, many of the guest had never been to Nocello before and loved the high class atmosphere and the food as always was delicious....
We were a party of 11 and the Nocello team made sure we got our own table which wasn't in the middle of others. The food was great and the portions generous. They catered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and the specials of the day were quite nice. Good attentive service too. One of our colleagues had his birthday for which we were carrying a cake - Nocello did not make a fuss about it and graciously served it to us when requested. Overall a great experience - I'd recommend the place.
This is a restaurant to which we've been coming for many years-- for dinners for two to special celebrations. These experiences have been wonderful -intimate, memorable, and delicious. The owners, Constantino and Marinella, use technology--lit menus, audio amplification, for example, to make this a terrific experience. The historic photos by Horst are worth a complete tour of the entire restaurant.
I'm going to be somewhat biased with this review since it's one of our favourite haunts on a Friday evening. My husband has been going here for 15 years. One of the good things about the restaurant is that it serves a large number of specials every night. Favourite starters are: Sardines milanese Eggplant capinata Clams Oregonata Escargot Mushroom soup Favorite mains are: Pork Osso Buco (great for the winter months or if you have a big appetite) Seafood Risotto Swordfish Favourite desserts: Zabaione Chocolate Mousse Chocolate cake Pistachio cake The restaurant is also conveniently located for a night at the theatre. So can be crowded, but not too noisy, during the height of the theatre season. And the staff are really nice too.
I wasn't impressed with Nocello in the past, but returned last year and have been coming back ever since. Their food is delicious, healthy and beautifully composed. Service is top notch. Their use of quality ingredients like wild fish, organic poultry, and great olive oil is truly appreciated. The wild salmon with mustard sauce is excellent as is their chocolate cake which is shipped from Italy and is not to be missed (when available).
Excellent cozy spot. There weren't many vegan options on the menu, but they had a vegetable soup appetizer that was delicious. I ordered a pasta with marinara and parmesean dish and asked for it with no cheese, but the dish I received had cheese in the sauce. They were very kind and responsive and fixed my dish immediately. Their wine menu is very expansive, so I hope to go back to try others and to get more of that incredible soup!
This restaurant is amazing! Food was very fresh and delicious! My husband has lobster fettuccine and I had the lamb chops. His lobster tasted like it was just retrieved from the ocean and I never had lamb chops like this before; the best I ever had. Definitely will be back when I visit New York again.
Somewhere between 3.5 and 4. The food was great, it was fresh and well cooked. The ambience was nice but dated and the manager/owner chilled at the bar. All in all very Italian. The food outweighs the ambience. The place is clean and all just not my taste of decor.
Great service. Romantic atmosphere. Excellent good with gluten free options. Moderately priced by Manhatten standards. Had the broiled Chilean sea bass. Tender and tasty. Prosciutto and melon starter was ok. Wife had minestrone soup which was ok and great shrimp scampi.
Lovely restaurant. Also, even though it was quite full, we could hear ourselves talk, always a plus. Attentive waitstaff. I would have given it 5 stars but I wasn’t thrilled with my main dish, the fish special. My dining companions, however, had other dishes and were very satisfied. We will go back and I will try a different entree.
Nocello is a true gem in Midtown! The atmosphere is warm and elegant—perfect for a pre-theater dinner or a romantic night out. The homemade pasta is incredible; I had the pappardelle with lamb ragu and it was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The service from Korra was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. Prices are reasonable for the quality ($40-50 per person for a full meal). Can't wait to come back!
This is a reasonably priced Italian place for midtown. Food is very good with real person portion sizes. It feels relaxed. The light up menus are a bit odd. The one knock is that they push the bread REALLY hard: at one point we were asked like 5 times within 10 minutes if we wanted it, and as others have noted it’s not free. We couldn’t help but laugh, but it definitely made the place seem cheap.
We had a nice meal. Food was delicious We were blindsided with a charge of $10.50 for bread. Waiter asked if we wanted bread but never mentioned an upcharge. Our bill was reasonable until we saw that and $18.00 each for drinks. No bread no drinks if we go back again
Celebrating 25 years in business, Northern Itallian. Stairs to enter. Cozy restaurant with several sections in which to sit. Food came out hot and well flavoured. The endive salad was missing the cheese, when it was called out a huge bowl of Gorgonzola arrived. Very clean restroom- always a plus.
Unfortunately this place was unmemorable. We started and ended on high notes with a really good oyster Rockefeller and ending with a pistachio cake. But in between was a lackluster beet salad for my wife and an apple Gorgonzola salad for me which showed a lack of seasoning and perhaps the blandest Gorgonzola I’ve ever had. The veal was chewy and not salted. Her pasta which touted as made in house was described as from a box. Service was disappointing and certainly not attentive. There are much better choices for Italian and I suggest you look elsewhere. . .
The food was good, no don't about it. But our party of 12 were there for nearly five hours, and not because we were talking for ages. Early on the waiter asked if we had to catch a show and we said no. I regret that. I'm pretty sure we were de-prioritized because it took hours for service, including a full half hour to cut the dessert pie. The food wasn't worth the wait, quite frankly.
While the service was fantastic, making the restaurant have a very homey feel, we found the food to be average. The food was a little bland, lacking the rich flavors I would expect based on the high rating.
While the place is lovely and the food good I unfortunately found a two inch hair in my veal dish. They replaced it and gave us free dessert but it was an appetite killer for me. They were so apologetic and all but hats or hairnets need to be worn.
The porcini risotto was mainly baby portobello mushrooms, what a scam! When I pointed out, the waiter denied and never came back. He actually is an Italian with strong accent so he should know better - shameful!
Went here with a large crowd on a week night. The service at first was delightful- we received delicious bread as well as olives & oil. We constantly had to ask for more water and refills while waiting almost 2 hours for our food to arrive. No apology was given and when the food arrived it was not as described in the menu. My veal was dry and vegetables less than appetizing. The only positive thing about the restaurant was the wine and cheese cake. Rude service and will not be returning anytime soon.
We came here as a birthday dinner. Unfortunately, it was not an enjoyable experience. We were welcomed poorly, and the servers paid very little attention to us. The portions were small. Price point is incorrect, it's actually $20-30 per plate. The establishment was very small and cramped.
The menus have incredibly bright lights that pain your eyes (and they won’t let you fold it back to keep the light off), and the food is incredibly mediocre. Would prefer Olive Garden.
We have frequented Nocello for quite some time. We had taken a break from this establishment for probably about seven months and recently returned to be sorely disappointed. The appetizers were good, however, the service which was once flawless, was quite subpar. The restaurant had many available tables where there once was a wait and the portions of food served for the main dishes were literally halved. We arrived early for this particular reservation and were sat immediately at a sectioned off area where there was a small birthday gathering. The party of 10 was not only loud but a bit profane and the owners could have done a better job seating us since there was a large selection of tables that were available in a lesser proximity of the gathering. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be returning to our once know place of choice and will be looking for another.
We had a celebration dinner planned here. I’d been planning for weeks my first evening out. I arrived on time and was given a table crammed next to a glass cabinet on one side and the maitre d’s standing spot on the other. It was the very uncomfortable. I asked for a different table and they refused. So sad. I had to leave. It was so uncomfortable like at an airport eatery.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never been treated so poorly and have never been so embarrassed when for a dinner party I planned in my life. Our industry trade show was this past weekend and my manager asked me to plan our team dinner for Thursday evening. There were 13 of us and it happened to be my manager's 50th birthday so we decided we would celebrate her that evening as well. I chose Nocello because it was a 2 minute walk from our hotel and had great reviews. I emailed the restaurant to make our reservation & inquired about a cake. Constantino emailed me back, suggested either a chocolate cake or pistachio cake. I chose the pistachio, requested a separate check so my coworkers and I could split the cost of the cake. Four of us, including my manager arrived 10 minutes early and were treated quite poorly by a woman (possibly owner?) She seemed very annoyed we were early and rudely asked us to come back @ 7:30. We returned at 7:28, she still had an attitude and asked us to sit at table in front window. The rest of our party arrived and they finally seated us. It didn't get any better from here; service was very slow getting drinks out, I was told by (possibly the owner, Constantino?) that they didn't have a pistachio cake for me - it comes from Italy???????? They only had 1 piece for my manager if I wanted. One of the servers spilt the white wine sauce from my plate while serving my dinner down my left side on a brand new outfit and barely apologized!!! They put the birthday candles in a beautiful fruit tart to sing happy birthday to my manager but did not serve the tart to us. They gave my manager a piece of pistachio cake and took dessert orders from everyone else. Absolutely horrible experience!!!!
Discrimination! I regret to say that my first visit to Nocello restaurant, my first day in New York, was marred by an incident that left me feeling unwelcome and disappointed in this city. From the moment my friend and I started speaking Ukrainian, we were met with blatant discrimination. The staff refused to serve us and even went as far as asking us to leave. This discriminatory behavior was not only disheartening but also completely unacceptable. The waiter assigned to our table displayed a shocking level of rudeness and impoliteness. It was perplexing to witness such behavior from someone in the service industry. Not only did he refuse to serve us, but he also had an impudent smirk when we simply asked about the soup of the day. This kind of disrespectful attitude only served to further exacerbate our negative experience. The overall atmosphere created by the staff made us feel unwelcome, not just in the restaurant but also in the city and country as a whole. It is disheartening to encounter such behavior, especially when we were looking forward to enjoying a pleasant meal. Needless to say, the management of this restaurant left much to be desired. Their failure to address and rectify the discriminatory actions of their staff is deeply concerning. It reflects poorly on their commitment to providing a welcoming and inclusive environment. I cannot recommend to others. It is my hope that the management takes immediate action to address these issues and ensures that such incidents do not occur in the future. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and it is crucial for businesses to foster an environment of respect and inclusivity.
Bad experience. We made clear we had a curtain to get to and allowed 1.5 hours for dinner. Appetizers came promptly, but after they were cleared mains did not arrive for 40 more minutes, leaving 5 minutes to eat. I asked manager to comp that, since I would only have time to eat a few bites, and he refused. He offered only to take the main back and not charge me for it, which is what I did.
