I recently stopped by this poke bowl spot, and I was blown away by how fresh and delicious everything was! The chicken and beef tasted incredibly clean and tender — you can tell they really prioritize quality ingredients. I loved how customizable the bowls were; from the rice base to the toppings and sauces, everything worked perfectly together. Perfect for people like Me being anxious about ordering food they have this customizable menu that you mark checked with whatever you want in your bowl and hand it to the order station The portions were generous, I had two proteins which I needed for my diet and seasonal greens and the presentation was beautiful — colorful, balanced, and Instagram-worthy! The staff were also super friendly and patient, helping me decide on the perfect combo for my first visit.

Healthy, customizable, and pretty tasty food! Good for takeout and there’s a few tables for indoor dining. Jap Chae with sauce was a bit watery.

Ongi Korean Grill serves flavorful and customizable Korean barbecue and rice bowls with generous portions of fresh ingredients, including marinated beef bulgogi, spicy pork. It was very clean and modern atmosphere, friendly staff, and welcoming vibe. Ongi had wide variety of house-made sauces,m, which allowed me to create a personalized and memorable meal.

Went here on a Sunday afternoon (non-peak hours) with low expectations and came away very impressed. The food was delicious, service friendly, and the portions fairly large. Plus free lemon water and they even have spoons available (looking at you chipotle/cava). Will come here again 😁

The food was really good and flavorful. The line got long but they were really fast. Everyone from work went there even though I was hesitant. It was affordable. There’s not enough seating area. There should be more seating area. I spent $15 for a bowl.

Ongi absolutely nailed it. The food is incredible—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully put together. Every bite of my bowl had that perfect mix of savory, spicy, and crunchy. But what really stood out was the ordering system with markers—such a fun and revolutionary concept! It made the whole experience feel unique and personal. Easily one of my new favorite spots.

The store was small but gorgeous. The staff was nice and the food was delicious and fresh. And the food is actually FILLING, the portions are amazing and I really feel like I got my money’s worth for the quality of the food and for how affordable it is in comparison to other food places giving similar quality. The Ssamjang Aioli is AMAZING.

Fast and delicious customable Korean bowls with normal / large sizes to choose from. (Personally, I think the normal size is large enough!) Love this place for its modern design, including its order system whereby you tick the boxes in a wipeable paper menu and simply hand it to the counter. The menu comes with colored photos, making it very easy to understand. Although my order came out a little bit wrong (I selected all vegetables except the purple cabbages, but received them anyway), the food was good and the meat portion is large. I also really appreciate the restaurant offering complimentary drinking water (with 2 types to choose from, as seen in my photo here. That's impressive!) Overall, this is a well-designed place I would love to come back.

Really solid lunch spot. The service is really fast and the ordering system is really easy to follow, haven’t seen a restaurant like that as of yet. Tried their spicy pork in a custom bowl and it was super tasty and tender. A very generous amount of food for the price. Will definitely be coming here again for lunch.

I got a bowl with chicken, cucumber, corn, rice,bbq sauce, and it kind of just tasted like everything was just in a bowl. It didn’t really have any notable flavor to me. The dumplings however, were fantastic and I would recommend getting those. There is a couple of spots to sit, but a large part of their business is definitely takeout.

Their customizable Korean bowls are easy to assemble, thanks to their nearly wordless ordering system using erasable laminated menu cards. The bowls are quite healthy, and I appreciate the complimentary infused water (one with citrus, another with cucumbers) on tap. I ordered a vegan bowl with all toppings and tofu. While it was tasty, I felt it needed a more generous portion of sauce to enhance the depth of flavor. The staff are warm and efficient, and the ambience is tranquil, neat, and clean.

January 2025 Follow Up: my medium bowl looks nothing like the picture. It’s mostly rice and a few kernels of corn and a small triangles of cucumber. The amount of protein you get has also decreased. The location is more popular so I guess giving less is how they are handling the increased volume. As much as I like the taste and concept, the chipotle effect is not good. December 2024 Follow Up: 4 stars to 2 stars. the food is decent and the prices aren’t bad. The customer service is bad. To be a business person who hardly go outs for lunch, I spend close to $50 on a meal for two and they are making me beg for a sauce????? I ordered two types of nuggets. I has sauce on it. The other doesn’t. I asked for one sauce. ONE SAUCE! You have to pay extra $1 blah blah blah. I just spent $50 and I am asking for a sauce for the nuggets and you act like you’re doing me a favor???? Most tables are not stable too. Food and prices maybe decent. Your poor attitude will have me forget all about you and never recommend you. ONGI has become a new lunch favorite. Very diverse menu. Plenty of protein, veggie and sauce options. Very nice flavors. My only qualms is the food is not hot. It’s warm so by the time you get toward the end of the bowl it’s cold. Next, their sauces are amazing but even when a sauce should be included they are very strict. It’s a small location; not many seats. They have complimentary infused water which is nice. Quick service and decent customer service.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful restaurant with such delicious food was overshadowed by an unpleasant experience today. While the food was excellent, the atmosphere was not very good. There was a girl wearing a brown cap at the coffee counter who was shouting at food delivery drivers, telling them to wait, and calling out order names in a very unkind and disrespectful manner. I believe there are much better ways to communicate with delivery drivers without yelling at them. As a human rights lawyer and advocate, I strongly believe that everyone deserves to be treated with respect and dignity, and I do not like seeing people being treated this way. Honestly, it’s really unfortunate that I have to give only one star, considering how delicious the food is and how nice the restaurant looks. However, the atmosphere today was not enjoyable at all. I hope that can change, because the food is truly delicious.
