Coffee shop and open late. Later than all of the other coffee shops in Astoria. It’s Christmas Day and they are open till 9. I found them for my latte of the day. Latte is alright. Pricey. Called a coffee shop although not really a coffee shops in my opinion, mostly a deli but they have a legit espresso machine set up. Sandwhiches looked good. $13.50 is a bit on the pricier side though.

It's a beautiful deli with a wide selection of products. These items have a high markup. It's 24/7, very convenient. I came here, ordered a custom sandwich, and paid $20. I was not informed that every add-on was a markup. The sandwich was ok. I did not feel like it was worth $20, but it was my mistake for not asking questions. It left me with a bitter finish, and I will not be coming back for food. I live in Astoria, and I can walk two blocks up and pay $12 for the same sandwich with the same ingredients at a deli that is also 24/7. The staff wasn't very friendly. The only good thing about this deli is its wide variety of products. If you shop here, know that they are very pricy and always ask about the price. If you add minor items to your order, you will end up paying a high premium.

Sadly, as of today I found out that they raised the price of a freddo cappuccino for first responders from $3 to $5. The drink was supposed to be half price for first responders, according to the female owner, and now it's just $0.99 off. It was my go to place for coffee and unfortunately can't afford to spend the extra $2 a day. I have been a customer for over 5 consecutive years and now I'm calling it quits. Thanks for the run.

The coffee is fine and the staff are nice, but the prices for everything are insane and 30-50% higher than other stores in the area. They also don’t display pricing for anything.

Stopped by to get a sandwich which i called in , when i got there service wasn’t so good maybe not morning people . Specially the glasses one (looked like the owner or manager /super rude ) But when i got to eatting one half of my sandwich was tasting alright and then the 2nd half it smelled roten by the time i got home i was already throwing up got extremely sick and well i have no insurance so can really go to the doctor but this was the worse place in Astoria STAY AWAY !!!!STAY AWARE !!!!

Will never come here again. They are super expensive, out of the norm even for Astoria. You would think you were at the airport with their prices. They charge me almost $13 for a basic turkey and cheese sandwich on a regular roll. It’s easily $6 everywhere else I go. They charged me literally more than double. Save your money and shop elsewhere. Disappointing to feel ripped off.

I wish I could give 0 stars but I can’t.. I’ve visited this place twice, and both experiences were disappointing. The first time, my sister and I waited 20 minutes for our coffee and bagel order, only to find out that it seemed like our order wasn’t even made. The staff member in front seemed distracted, laughing and taking other customer’s orders while ignoring us. We left upset and frustrated. My second visit with my mom was just as bad. I ordered a chai iced latte with no sugar, but the drink was extremely sweet. When I asked the staff to remake it, they laughed and seemed dismissive. I specifically asked for no sugar, and it’s their responsibility to inform customers about the ingredients. Considering some customers have health conditions like diabetes, this lack of attention to detail is concerning. When I requested a different drink, the staff member laughed again and implied that I wouldn’t like it since it’s “too strong” for me” The service was horrible, and I don’t recommend this place at all. The staff’s behavior was unprofessional, and I’m convinced they have issues with customer service. I’ll be reporting this to the city for discrimination and harassment. It’s better to have loyal customers and fix your mistakes rather than argue with them about the $5 drink you messed up.. do not recommend and will not be returning to this place. (They do not inform you or listen to your requests. Do not go if you’re diabetic or allergic to anything. They won’t exchange it for you. Or fix their mistakes:/ unless you ask 5 times)

Coffee,Fredo, cappuccino is very good.everything else has changed from years ago. Counter can't make a hero anymore. Staff makes it a surprise all the time. Today I ordered a hero toasted with extra chip mayo. Got it untoasted,no mayo,two slices of turkey and the price of everything is just a rip off. Place is only good for coffee.

I usually give places the benefit of the doubt, but my experiences here have been consistently disappointing. Over the course of four visits, my orders have been incorrect each time. Initially, I thought it might be a communication issue or just a busy day, but the pattern has continued. One time my order was completely forgotten until I reminded them, and even then, it was prepared incorrectly. Another time, I ordered a plain bagel with cream cheese and jelly, and it ended up tasting like onion—something my friend noticed as well. On top of that, the portions (especially the lox) have been noticeably small, and the prices quoted over the phone don’t always match the menu in person, which feels misleading. I’ve always been polite and patient, and I usually take my food to go since I work, but these repeated mistakes and inconsistencies are frustrating—especially given the higher prices. I wanted to share my honest experience in the hope that improvements can be made.
