The Dead Rabbit has a great name and an even more interesting setting.....once inside. The deco of the place speaks to the history of the area. The lobster devil eggs were unbelievable. I ordered the house drink "Doctors Orders" and it was amazing....I had 3. Melissa was our server and she was great. I highly recommend this place and its a must visit!!

Is it one of the best - yes. Big hype about the Guinness, and it really didn’t disappoint. Love the sawdust and the total vibe. Staff were great - and we have a brilliant time, make sure you take a dollar bill so you can write a little note and the team will staple it to the wall for you. They sad they never ever take these down, so it’s a nice thought to return some day and see the note you might have written years ago. ENJOY!

The Dead Rabbit is hands down my favorite bar in NYC. The bartenders are incredible—knowledgeable, friendly, and always professional, even when the place is buzzing. And trust me, it does get busy, so be prepared for a lively crowd. I usually hang out in the Tap Room, which has the perfect pub energy, but the Parlor upstairs is an absolute must-visit. Definitely make a reservation for the Parlor—it’s worth it. The Dead Rabbit is all about great Irish pub food, top-tier cocktails, and one of the best pints of Guinness you’ll find anywhere in NYC. A classic for a reason. 🍀🍺

We had a reservation for parlor for my 10k birthday. The Irish coffee was the best! They also so kindly gave us tiramisu for free and switched the drinks we found too strong with some gentler ones. Loved it!

The Dead Rabbit has become my favorite bar in NYC. The Parlor on the first floor is amazing. I went there for a few cocktails, and the bartenders’ knowledge, along with the vibe, is top-notch. Definitely my kind of experience. Really worth it.

Absolutely incredible food and unique cocktails. We reserved a table in the Parlor Room and while it seemed most customers were only getting drinks, we ordered the steak and the dry aged burger and both were sublime, and finished the meal with a sticky toffee pudding, which I never see at restaurants anymore. The servers were incredibly attentive and our glasses were never empty. This is a must for anyone who loves an elevated NYC pub experience.

We tried to reserve a table on the site and there was no availability. We were only a few blocks away so we stopped to see if we could squeeze in, and they made it happen. So, cocktails were outstanding! Tried the falling slowly(slowly falling?), not remembering what it is called is compliment enough. The other I couldn't pronounce if you gave me a week of practice, but it was as good as the name is hard. Food; lobster deviled eggs, we almost came to blows over the last one. We have been married 31 years, pretty sure I would've been throat punched if I had reached for it. Pumpkin soup was a real treat, and the fish was absolutely perfectly fried. The kinda crisp that lasts until the last bite. Stellar job friends.

Came here after an event in the area because I’m never this far down, and wow I’m glad I did! The Parlor upstairs is such a cool experience, and the drink menu is unreal. The bartender, Justin I think, was fabulous, and the miso pina colada…woah. The lobster and caviar eggs were also 10/10. Thanks Justin for the baby Irish coffee. Will be back!

This bar is one the most highly rated in the area. And it has an amazing selection of whiskeys. We were there on a Friday night and it was busy! Recommend reservations if you want a table. We walked in and found 2 seats at the bar. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks we had were strong and delicious. This would be a really fun bar for groups of friends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Dead Rabbit is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, lively, and full of character—perfectly blending classic charm with modern energy. The food is outstanding, crafted with incredible attention to detail and bold, memorable flavors. Every dish feels thoughtfully designed and beautifully presented. The drinks are truly world-class—expertly mixed, balanced, and creative, easily some of the best you’ll find anywhere. What really elevates the experience, though, is the service: friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed or pretentious. Whether you’re there for a special occasion or just a great night out, The Dead Rabbit delivers on every level. An absolute must-visit and well deserving of five stars. If you want it shorter, more casual, or more enthusiastic, I can tweak it in seconds. 🍸✨

This is the spot! The bartenders are fun and can make delicious craft cocktails! Oh, and pour a beautiful Guinness. Yes… I split the G. We popped in at 6:30 on a Monday and we were lucky to find an open spot standing at the upstairs bar. This place was buzzing with energy. It’s hard to not smile when you step foot inside. Here’s the deal folks, don’t let the name fool you, it’s very much lively!

Went there for a drink since I live in the neighborhood and had long noticed this NYC bar landmark. It was in December, which was perfect timing: the Christmas decorations were everywhere, from the ceiling to the drinks themselves, and really added to the experience. The cocktail selection was excellent: seasonal, creative, and high quality. Everything looked tempting. We did have to wait about 15 minutes outside because of the "after-work rush", but after around 7:30 pm there was no line anymore. We ended up in the main room, seated at the bar. The staff was friendly, the space was clean, and it wasn’t overly loud for an NYC bar. Overall, a very good experience. I’m not sure it’s THE place for a long night of drinking, but it’s definitely worth going for the atmosphere and the experience.

Had booked here two weeks in advance for a special occasion while visiting NYC, and we were glad we did. Has many different nods to Ireland, although the sawdust isn't something you'd normally see in Ireland but it's a fun touch. The hype around the Irish coffee was worth it! The old fashioned, however, considering we in the home of that cocktail, wasn't amazing and no orange peel or maybe a maraschino cherry? It's a simple drink so it needs each component. Plenty of Rye in it which I guess is the most important detail. On a side note, "Nollaig Shona Duit" is the spelling - you have it wrong on your menus (+h) and wrong on your staff t-shirts (dúit). Go raibh maith agaibh as ucht an t-am iontach a chaith muid ann! We'll be back, le cuidiú Dé :)

A Christmas cracker! Even without the decorations we would be giving a 5 star review. Irish coffee is out of this world, it was the biggest recommendation from friends before going and it surpassed expectations. The shepherds pie was delicious and the beef sandwich too. What really made it different though was the service - really felt like the went the extra mile for their customers. Prepare for it to be busy though - we turned up at midday and it was full already!

What a wonderful Saturday brunch treat in this classic yet modern Irish pub. The decor is really cool along with signed dollar bills and photos around the walls and ceiling, Irish frozen coffee machine, etc. Their cocktails are delicious and eye pleasing. Their authentic Irish fares and drinks were absolutely a delight. We had the Irish Breakfast, oysters, fried boneless chicken, ham and cheese toasties and chips, Irish frozen coffee and a perfectly pourer pint of Guinness. We also went to Dead Rabbit at night before and they had really great Irish music as well 🥰

Been coming here for years. Every single time, it’s a good time. Off night. Weekend. Holiday. Every. Single. Time. The staff is always sooooo nice. Several rooms and vibes to choose from. Every single entree I’ve had to eat here is amazing. Tonight I tried the ham and cheese and later the shepherd’s pie. Both.. amazing! All of the cocktail holiday drinks were on point. I rarely give 5 stars. This place truly deserves all of them. Every single time I visit. Keep it up. Thank you!!! This a must go to for locals and

This fantastic Irish pub deserves every bit of its stellar rating. We had the short rib sliders, the mouth watering lamb chop shorts and the house chips. Plus Guinness and frozen Irish coffee. Everything was perfectly done. Super friendly and attentive staff. The decor is one of a kind. We got there at 5:30pm on a Tuesday. The place was packed but they sat us right away.

Had an amazing experience at the tap room - drinks were very adventurous and the fried chicken hits right home. Midnight pearl and mango soba were definitely my favorites. Ambiance was great and staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a slight emergency situation but gladly the manager Vladi was able to come in and take care of it right on. Would definitely come back for more.

I went with a group of friends and we really enjoyed their cocktails. The place has a very unique and eye-catching décor, which adds to the whole experience. It was a great spot to hang out and spend some time together.

Great Irish vibe, definitely reminiscent of being in Ireland. The service was great, everyone was very friendly. The Irish coffee was sublime and the Guinness pour and temperature was spot on, honestly can’t think of a better Guinness I’ve had outside of Ireland. I grabbed the short rib sliders to snack on and they were very flavorful and fork tender. They also have a phenomenal Irish whisky selection.

The Irish coffee is a must-try, you won’t be disappointed. The Old Fashioned was good, though a bit on the sweeter side for my taste. The fried chicken was just okay, nothing particularly special. The tiramisu was one of the best I’ve had. We sat in the Parlour, which had great vibes and good service, making for a pleasant overall experience. We did not have a reservation for parlor, but still managed to get a table on a Sunday.

Drank at the tap room. I remember a time when the tap room only had beer. I am so pleased to know they have cocktails and food available now. This place has always been impeccable. I’ve been here a handful of times and never left disappointed. I can’t remember the names of the drinks but they had a cocktail that had Guinness and it really was a standout, as well as the Irish coffee Alexander, and I don’t even like coffee 🤣. Don’t sleep on the Scotch eggs either. Best ones I’ve had! This one really upsets me that we don’t have something similar in Vegas. I mean we have bars but this one just has something about it 😁

My husband and I had an incredible time at The Dead Rabbit! It was a highlight of our bar crawl, and we were completely blown away by the unique experience. The place has a fantastic energy, and we loved that each floor offered a different vibe. The cocktails were the star of the show. I had a special drink where the bartender spritzed a perfume on my hand to enhance the aroma as I sipped—a truly unforgettable sensory experience! The food was delicious, too; we especially enjoyed the deviled eggs. With amazing drinks, tasty bites, and a super cool atmosphere, The Dead Rabbit is a must-visit. We'll definitely be back!

The food was great! We shared a number of items on the menu. We had the Chicken Pot Pie, chicken tenders, and the fish and chips. The food was definitely made fresh. The crust on the pot 🥧 was delicious! Compliments to the chef. The atmosphere was insane. Wall to wall people yet everyone made it work. Everyone was enjoying themselves despite being over capacity. Don't come here if you want a quiet evening.

The food was great — flavorful, well-prepared, and definitely the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately, the service was mediocre and the atmosphere didn’t really stand out. While the food alone makes it worth trying, the overall experience could be much better with improved service and ambiance.

Definitely an iconic place and super busy no matter when you go. The food was good. Our party ordered multiple different drinks and all were good--Dr's Orders is the one to try. It was made clear we had 2 hours to sit, eat and drink because reservations are stacked, so not a place to lounge and take your time with friends. Was fun to try.

The Dead Rabbit is a New York staple. Its one of my favorites for its diverse drink menu and great food options but one thing always brings me back. This bar opens at 11am. For older folks like me this is holy grail stuff. Let me get my drinks in early and I'll be back home before the sun goes down. More spots need to adopt this time frame. Jingle All The Way - I took a sip and said "Wow". Two kinds of whiskey, pink grapefruit, allspice, Vanilla and lime. On that first sip the Nutmeg hits you and then the lime and vanilla work together to make this mouth filling candy feel. the good kind of candy not the over the top kind. I usually don't like red grapefruit but this drink and the Paloma make an excellent argument for it. This should definitely stay on the menu past the holiday season. If you come during a time thats not the holidays this is called the doctor's orders. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Berry Merry - If this doesn't get you feeling festive then you dont have a heart beat. tequila, Mezcal, cranberry, cinnamon and elderflower make for one incredible combination. Nice and tart. Im biased but this is a banger (I like cranberry).👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Cookie Jar - Of course my eyes would lead me to the milk punch on the menu. Spicy from the chai and Irish whiskey then tempered with lemon tartness and coconut roundness this is an incredible milk punch. Damn good. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Irish Coffee - I don't drink coffee. I'm one of those odd balls who just wakes up. This was my first Irish coffee ☕️. No better spot to have it honestly. The warm coffee sipped through the cool crema is a fantastic sip. I'll never understand why people drink espresso martinis and not this instead. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

What a way to ruin an experience. Doorman on Jan 18 making rude and asinine remarks to my Asian wife. Nothing to the white folks in front of me, nothing to me (white), nothing to the white people behind us. Thought it was a bit off going in but whatever until he did it again on the way out. When we called him out on it, the doorman just said he “was just making a joke”. Damn, ain’t need this stuff in 2026. Fire him, please? Thanks to the random lady joining in to call him out. Cocktails upstairs were excellent, bartender was fabulous, enjoyed the bar vibe and had every intention to return. Not anymore.

Yesterday, we visited The Dead Rabbit with all of our wedding guests. Instead of kindly asking us not to take photos inside the venue (as we had brought a professional photographer to capture memories of our wedding and the guests who traveled from different countries), the manager was extremely rude. When he heard us speaking Spanish, he began speaking to us in a very disrespectful way and even yelled at our photographer. We were a group of 10 people planning to stay for a long time, ordering cocktails and food. Instead, we had to ask for the check and leave because every time this manager approached us, he made it a point to make us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. In the end, we still paid a bill of more than $500, but we would never recommend visiting this place if that man is working there. On the other hand, all of the waiters and the bartender had an excellent attitude and did their best to make up for the problem caused by the manager. I ended up confronting him because I personally believe it was unfair that on such a special day like my wedding, we were treated so poorly and had our visit ruined at a bar we had been looking forward to for days. It is also important to add that our group included elderly people over 70 years old who do not speak English and who felt discriminated against and mistreated by this manager. I truly hope the company takes action and provides this individual with proper customer service training. We were behaving respectfully, and our intention was simply to enjoy the cocktails your bar is famous for, share that experience with our international guests, and have a good time. Unfortunately, this manager completely ruined what should have been a joyful experience. In the last photo, the manager was arguing with my brother-in-law, and that was the moment we decided to leave that place as soon as possible.
