I found everything satisfying! Team members demonstrate authentic care. The serving size is good, the preparation thoughtful, and flavor delightful. The pricing reflects the overall experience. Every date I've brought here has been impressed.
FOR DE NON-VEGAN BELIEVERS. .. I DARE YOU ! Wow wow wow... perhaps the best vegan Asian/ Korean fusion restaurant in NYC. This place will change your life & will make smile from within your soul. Absolutely delicious vegan dishes, rich in flavors & beautifully presented. This should be in every city of the world! And their vegan ice cream and desserts Absolutely to die for. Do not think about it twice. This is vegan heaven.
Love this place for the good selection of Korean Vegan choices. The Stone Bowl varieties are really good. Topped with Plum and Lychee wines both delicious. Also has a wide array of teas. Very friendly staff. Good service never disappoints. Have taken friends and family here and they all love the evening.
Love Franchia! Have been there multiple times over the last decade, and the food has actually gotten even better over the years. My latest favorites are the Penang curry and Katsu Udon! Also a lovely space for an upscale vibe but still affordable and delicious.
Definitely must-try for any vegan. We loved every single dish we have tried. Prefer a stone bowl when you have the option. Nice to see and smell the food while it is still boiling on your table. I have preserved Jackfruit & Eggplant Curry Stew and absolutely loved it. The spices tastes so good. The fusion of Korean and other Asian kitchens is amazingly well done.
I knew that I had to stop by at this place. Very authentic Vegan Asian Restaurant and the Server was very Friendly and Welcoming. For Dinner, I had Wonton Noodles with Bok Choy and barbecued pork in Vegetable Broth. I also had Iced Matcha Latte to Drink. For Dessert, I had Chocolate Fudge Cake with Chocolate Ice Cream on the side. Definitely a good spot to have Dinner.
We have been wanting to try this place. Neither one of us are vegan but we like to try other possibilities. This place is a gem. We came right at noon and had many seating options. I checked the menu prior and as a huge ramen fan I was set on the spicy miso ramen. My BF got the lunch box with chicken meatballs. His came with salad. Two potsticker looking things. As well as a sizzling hot bowl of rice. He ate all of it. My spicy miso ramen was delicious. The broth is def the star. The "beef" I wasn't a fan but I ate it. They did tell me I can substitute their "chicken" next time. It came with lots of boy choy and lots of noodles. I'm not a huge noodle fan so next time I'll ask for 1/2 order and more bok choy. It was spicy but I like mine super spicy and they gladly gave me chili oil. We got the hot sake and it came in a tea pot filled to the top. We barely finished it. I would definitely come again and highly recommend it to vegan lovers or not.
My absolute favorite vegan restaurant in the city. One of the best Asian cuisine you can get. There are so many items to rave about but one of my go to’s is the vegan crab cakes, the sauce paired with it is super good. Lynche wine is amazing. My first time having the binimbap bowl with vegetarian duck and I was pleased. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and family.
Went to Franchia for lunch in May 2024. Was delighted with the place! It is an all vegan sushi/Korean/Chinese/Thai place. Loves most of the dishes we ordered. In particular cloves the sushi platter that had a mix of sushis. Also loved some of the fake chicken dishes. Overall, happy to recommend this place whole heartedly for both vegans and non vegans!
Their kitchen creates dishes that satisfy completely. Franchia Vegan Café keeps delivering memorable experiences. Their genuine hospitality exceeds expectations. The dishes delivered perfect taste! Another experience here is in my future.
This is the BEST Oriental cuisine I have ever had! The food was well priced, proportions. The flavour was out of this world. The tea they had was divine and I can't wait to come back again. Service was amazing. Served by Annaly and was super helpful, friendly and great energy. Highly Recommend!
Wow my first time here and it's added to my list of favorite vegetarian restaurants. Incredible "beef" and broccoli...the sauce was amazing. The vegan carrot cake was outstanding. Loved the wine selection including plum wine. Despite coming at a busy time, excellent service and friendly workers. If you are just visiting NY for a few days like I am, definitely come here. Means a lot because I flew to NY from SFO which has a lot of excellent vegetarian options too.
Nice vegan offering close to the hotel we were staying at. Place was packed on a weekday for lunch. The menu is pretty extensive with 4 pages of food including lunch specials. Everything from noodle soup to fried rice to all other different types of Asian cuisine is available on the menu. They also have a variety of different teas.
We really enjoy the food and experience; both my non-vegetarian friends and myself were impressive with the flavor and texture. The food is very high quality. I’d recommend the Peking buns, stuffed mushroom and mushrooms bulgogi. My non-vegetarian friends loved the Korean Hot Pot with soy fish (they couldn’t believe it’s not real fish lol).
I took my bf here for a thank you gift ( he was treating me to a trip to Hawaii!!) so I told him to get anything he wanted. We had these interesting looking purple cocktails that tasted pretty good. For appetizers, we had their "chicken wings" and veggie rolls which were both ok. He got this really delicious noodle soup. It had coconut and curry and tasted divine. I got a sweet and sour dish, that wasn't plated very well and was only ok in the taste department. I should have gotten the soup. For dessert, we had the walnut cake which was my favorite part of the meal. Franchise is an excellent choice for tasty vegan food and I'm glad we went. You should go.
This is a nice place to try out if you are open to the idea of eating tofu-based substitutes in a lot of well-known Asian dishes (mostly Korean) for the meats. This is also a great place to go if you are taking anyone who has dietary restrictions for any reasons based on meat. I am not vegan/vegetarian myself, but I did not find myself missing any real meat trying any of the dishes. All of it was excellent and they did a convincing job of making it look like the real deal. The restaurant also has a nice aesthetic with Asian themes for interior decoration and a cute little 3-floor section with multiple small tables on each. Do note that the food is on the expensive side though.
Franchia Vegan Café gives more than standard service. Exceptional service quality with delicious meals at reasonable costs. Their kitchen gets quantity right every time. The workers show sincere interest in customers. Employees were accommodating and cuisine was excellent! I'll definitely come again.
Although I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan, this place really impressed. There's very limited outdoor seating (as a response to COVID) but it's done well and is spaced out. The service was prompt and friendly and the food options were strong. Some of the dishes had quite a spicy kick, but that was welcome. It positions itself as pan-Asian, but it's primarily Korean influenced.
Let's start with Crystal. My serve and waitress was amazing. She was perfect with all the recommendations and the food was extremely tasty! However there was one clear stand out and that's the bbq vegan chicken kabobs. Omg it was amazing and the rainbow roll was super clean with that vegan meat on it too. 11/10
Highly recommended!! We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and the service. There are different kitchen menus: gluten free sushi, Chinese dishes, Korean, and other yummy asian kitchen options. We had tiramisu for dessert and it was so light and flavorful that immediately we wanted to plan for our next visit.
We came for a work dinner with a few colleagues and were pleased to learn walk ins were welcomed. Usually I don't care for vegan food that is molded to shape like the food it is representing, but here it made the dishes beautiful and the taste of the protein was delicious. As you can see in the pictures, the sticky buns are made to look like they have Peking duck inside. It's actually a mushroom based product that looks delicious and tastes as good! They had an amazing assortment of hot tea to choose from, I had the persimmon and chamomile which were great. We had also a spicy hotpot, rice bowl, pancakes, fried dumplings, and three desserts! The only dish we were not all thrilled about was the vegan tiramisu, that was a little disappointing. But wow,the rest was awesome! Will definitely come again on a future trip to NYC.
This is such a great place for vegetarians and vegans but also for anyone who is interested in trying yummy food. The menu has so many options to pick from that we had a hard time picking what to order. Food: We ended up ordering the spicy kimchi dumplings. These were my favorite of all the things we ordered. They were perfectly crunchy and the filling was well seasoned. The spicy buffalo wings were okay, the sauce was too pungent and the "meat" felt a bit too thick. The peking duck baos were yummy and I liked that they were cut in half so it was easier to eat. We ended with the spicy kimchi pancakes. They were crispy and the perfect spice combination. Service: Service was a bit slow but the food came out fast and fresh so it was fine. Atmosphere: I love the three floor set up, it feels intimate and private. I also like the minimalist theme.
One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. They have an extensive menu (which can sometimes scare me away from a place) but of all the things me and my partner tried, NONE disappointed. We god the combo dumplings, the leek pancakes, the Indonesian goreng, braised tofu with eggplant and squash, seasame cake, and triple chocolate cake for dessert. Absolutely nothing was bad. The kimchi dumplings are incredible and I will have dreams about that braised tofu for years to come. The waiter we had was just attentive enough and very kind. I will be coming back as often as I can.
First time having vegan food and it is AMAZING! The vegan sushi tasted like actually sushi and it was making me want to eat more. My favorite was the spicy fired tofu because the tofu is very crispy and the sauce was very good. The pad Thai was ok but not very good as an actually pad Thai would taste like. The drunken noodle was flavorful with the soy sauce. However, this place you have to order $15pp, which seem a lot but all the dishes are more than $15.
My husband and I have come here a few times — the kimchi dumplings and bao are amazing! We love all the appetizers :) Shout out to one of our servers, Augustine, who consistently tended to our every need last visit. My water glass was never empty, our table was never dirty and cluttered because he was so great at his job! Thank you Augustine!
Small place that does not look from the outside, but inside is large and with many tables. We went without reservation in the early evening, we got a table. Ask for the crab cake, it is wonderful and bizarrely similar to the traditional version. Even the smell. The sushis were ok. We also ordered the "chicken thigh" which looked bizarre, but the taste was not so similar. Amazing food.
I’ve walked past this restaurant for years heading to Grand Central (it’s very close). I finally decided to check it out. The atmosphere is cozy zen and Manhattan chic. The food was absolutely delicious and we were treated very well. I’m trying to figure out when I can revisit…. May hop on MNR pick up food and come back home to enjoy it. What I enjoyed most was that although it’s vegan, everything was seasoned and the fresh ingredients stood out. Each dish was its own experience.
Top tier Asian cuisine this restaurant is beautiful. The decor is lovely, upstairs seating is great for more formal dining. There’s a cute front area for smaller quick bites. The take out was quick and fresh. Staff is very friendly and welcoming the place is very clean and well kept. Great lunch specials that have generous portions that is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this establishment.
This is a nice Korean restaurant with tasty plant-based food. We tried the combo dumplings and the dragon roll. Both were fresh and had great flavors. The service was fast and friendly, we placed an online order and picked it up, and it was ready quickly. The staff were kind and helpful. The place has a cozy feel, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. Franchia Vegan Cafe is a great spot for yummy and unique vegan food. Highly recommend this place and will go back to dine in and try many more dishes next time.
Really enjoyed Franchia. The menu is extensive and delicious and appreciated that everything was vegan. The tteokbokki was delicious as were the japchae dumplings. The ambiance was nice and I liked how the tea was served with extra hot water. Note that policy is to spend $25 a person which easily accommodates a main and one of their many drinks/teas.
The food was delicious. The place was packed on a Monday, midday at the same time as the eclipse!! I was impressed. They have business lunch packages (in the picture) that I find very convenient, 22 USD for a lot of food; I was so happy I could try several dishes simultaneously. The pancakes were delicious, The satay was to die for, The buffalo spiciness was perfect, and it was my first time trying Korean rice wine, which I really liked. I will be back with friends!
Had my birthday lunch planned with a few friends here and when we walked in at 3 pm, this place wasn't that busy! I was looking forward to eating some creative vegetarian/vegan food, and wasn't disappointed at all after ordering a bunch of things from their menu. We ordered Fried Calamari, Spicy Buffalo Wings, and the Dumplings Combo. The Spicy buffalo wings were unbelievably delicious and were a top pick for our table from their small plates menu. For mains, we got the Curry 'Chicken' (Stone Bowl Rice) and the Mushroom Sizzler - both were pretty good. This order was enough for four adults and it hit the spot. Food taste is just unbelievable. Whoever thinks vegetarian or vegan cannot be delicious needs to visit this place. Service, ambiance was perfect and food arrives within 20 minutes of ordering. Noise levels were on the lower end during our visit. Will definitely visit again!
Warm cozy place. I loved their ambiance. We had not made reservations but since we reached at 4 pm we got a table. Otherwise, it felt like it was busy even on the weekdays. We ordered sushi - a delicious volcano roll. The second was a rainbow roll which was ok. Another appetizer we ordered was fried calamari- that was good. For the main course, we order basil noodles - yum! Spicy franchia noodles - good. Soy chicken sizzler on a hot stone plate - too good. For drinks, we ordered a Ube latte - so good!! & Thai iced tea - it was ok. All in all great experience!!
Franchia’s is amazing! Wonderful service and very delicious flavours. The spicy noodle dish was absolutely awesome - just spicy enough and full of flavour and aroma. The beef clay pot rice was amazing and the rice was perfectly crispy. It came out sizzling which was so cool! Then the fish soup that my partner got was awesome too. He said it’s so cool how it tastes so much like fish. We are very grateful we found this wonderful restaurant! One of the best vegan restaurant in NYC.
This is an amazing Asian vegan restaurant. There is a great atmosphere like a Japanese tea house vibe. There are nice decor elements and the ceiling has this really cool design. The staff were very courteous and friendly. We ordered a Thai iced tea, mango tea, the fried cauliflower, volcano roll, tropical mango roll, and the Malaysian chicken curry. This is the best vegan food I've had, so much flavor!!
Had an amazing meal at Franchia while in New York on business. I had the mapo tofu and it was one of the best dishes I think I’ve ever eaten. Great atmosphere and attentive, friendly (but unobtrusive) service. This feels like a bit of a hidden gem and well worth seeking out. Highly, highly recommended.
The place vibes like a Retreat. A very serene and lovely food experience. The customer service is exceptional. The place is huge however the table are reserved mostly. I wish the tables weren’t that close. The food is outstanding and delicious. This was my 1st time trying vegan and I was amazed how beautiful they modified the recipes. The menu is so diverse.I love their drink menu, my favourite is Pink Moon. I tried vegetarian duck stone bowl, spicy franchia noodles and dragon roll. Everything is fantastic. I would highly recommend this place to enjoy the meal even if one is not vegan.
I'm no vegetarian but I had dinner here with friends and we ordered a dozen appetizers and entrès between us, each one SO GOOD!!!! I couldn't believe there was no meat or seafood involved - all dishes were scrumptious and beautifully plated. Will definitely be returning with friends, vegan or not!
I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have 5 stars. Food, service, & atmosphere have all been stellar. This instantly became my favorite place, & I’ve eaten at 90% of the vegan & vegetarian places in NYC (not including the brilliant places that left us too soon). If you like food, go! [Blurred my IG username so I don’t get dinged for self promotion.]
Very calming indoor seating with delicious food. We really enjoyed the drunken basil noodles that came with mock chicken. I also enjoyed their large selection of herbal teas with a description of the health benefits of all of them. I will definitely come back here next time I’m in the city!
Found this place when we were looking for vegan food near the Morgan Library! We wanted to order everything off the menu 😂 Drinks- we got the Soju Mojito, the Japanese Plum Wine and the Lychee Wine. Food- the Fried Manchurian Cauliflower and Crispy Tofu Skin rolls were amazing! For the entrees we got the Mushroom Sizzler, Sizzling Bulgogi Plate and the Spicy Franchia noodles. Loved everything!
Delicious food in a serene environment. Refreshing that the entire menu is vegan and there are so many authentic options. Anyone who enjoys Korean food (vegan or not) would love it here. I had ginger tea, vegetable buns, spicy kimchi bibimbap, and the ube coconut custard. Everything was flavorful and satisfying.
I've been to Franchia several times and the food keeps getting better and better. The Lion Mane mushroom bites were so tasty. I woke up this morning thinking about them. I tried the Dubai chocolate cheesecake and all I can say is wow! I woke up this morning thinking about the food. This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC.
My mom and I went here not too long ago and the food was AMAZING! The teas were also the best tea I've ever had in my life. Please if you go try the korean plum tea, my mom tried the omija tea and also loved it. Service was also so friendly and gave great recommendations. Can't wait to come back!
This review is a long time coming. I'm born and raised in NYC and have been vegan for 16 years. I've tried vegan restaurants all throughout the city, probably all the major ones. Franchia Vegan Café is definitely in my top 2 for my favorite vegan restaurant of all. The portions are fantastic—during a time where most high end restaurants are serving tiny dishes and charging an arm and a leg—but most importantly, the flavors are amazing every single time! I brought my mom here recently for her birthday, she's Hispanic and had never tried this kind of food before, and she was obsessed! I do need to try more of the menu, but my all time favorite entree is the Penang Noodles. It is literally the best vegan noodle soup bowl in this entire city! Love the creamy curry and spicy flavors as well as the toppings with tofu skin, tofu chunks, eggplant and vegan chicken. Also obsessed with the volcano roll, dragon roll, and tofu skin rolls. Their rolls in general are fantastic and in my opinion, better than a certain vegan sushi restaurant that will not be named. The baby dumplings are another great item, the scallion pancakes, the braised tofu with kabocha pumpkin, the hot stone chicken teriyaki plate, and more! They have an incredibly extensive menu so you're sure to find something you love! And lastly, the atmosphere is so calming with its low lighting and calm zen like music. They truly offer a nice respite from the chaos of the city.
First of all, this is a restaurant, not a cafe. I liked everything i had there and all staffs are very nice. I drank Saratoga still water, Chungha, and sparkling water with lemon slices for drinks and had Jeon combo, vegan gluten free chicken curry with rice in a stone bowl, fried cauliflower, fried string beans, fried carrots, fried mushrooms, penang noodles, and vegan dubai chocolate ice cream. It’s a good place for non vegan as well. I was impressed by their Korean authentic and nice tea menu, also. I strongly recommend you to visit Franchia.
Very relaxed atmosphere the full was fantastic we had a really good time my sister celebrated my birthday I had a very good time with the food I tried different things and it's a vegan restaurant and it's sometimes very hard to find good restaurants that serve vegan food high quality food and the service was wonderful
A fully vegan Korean restaurant situated right in the heart of Manhattan?! My west coast heart is pounding in jealousy and longing to return once again. It's often very hard to find restaurants that serve fully vegan Korean food so the fact that this exists is truly special. A lot of items will be vegetarian at best so to be able to have an extensive menu to order from is a treat. My friends and I came here for lunch and were seated fairly quickly in their hip restaurant. I ordered a couple of things: - Combination Pancakes consisting of sweet corn cilantro, scallion & spicy kimchi offerings. This was their take on traditional Korean jeon and I didn't realize they'd bring out so many small pieces for the table. My favorite was definitely the sweet corn cilantro. - Crispy Korean Chili Tofu Lunch Special, which included a soup and salad of the day as well as two additional banchan (including a pancake!) The tofu was fried to sweet perfection and the chili sauce was top notch. There ended up being more than enough food just from this alone. I hope this spot sticks around because I'll certainly be coming back to fill my Korean cravings without needing to play around with the menu at other restaurants.
Gorgeous restaurant in a really warm traditional setting! Their menu is very extensive and hard to believe it's vegan! I got their lunch special to try out as many things as possible and the portion sizes are perfectly balanced as well as the flavors being so rich and umami. Their teas are also served fresh and have complex flavors so you can really taste the quality, if you like any Asian food vegan or not I guarantee you will find this delicious
Absolutely incredible! This vegan restaurant has completely redefined plant-based dining for me. Every dish was bursting with flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff were warm, knowledgeable, and happy to make recommendations. I especially loved the "Penang Noodles"—seriously next-level. Whether you're vegan or just curious, this place is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!
Wow! What a pleasant surprise to stumble upon a fully vegan pan Asian restaurant in Manhattan . The Wide and eclectic menu includes sushi and many other items . Tye pickled cap page appetizer is awesome!!!! I settled for drunken noodles which were amazing, just the right size . The restaurant is very nice looking inside. Very clean restrooms as well. It’s a nice little oasis to escape to in this bustling area of Manhattan . Highly recommended and they will be seeing me again soon .
Went here for one if my best friends bday. I am not vegan but she and a few of our friends are - was blown away by the flavor and quality of the meal, especially at such a good price point. Will definitely bring my vegan friends back here - great place for an intimate dinner or for a bigger party for a birthday!
After considering where to dine, I gave this vegan spot a chance, and am I happy I did! The place was buzzing, and that’s to say it was a Monday night. Quick, efficient service with spot on recommendations. Would gladly visit again to try a number of other dishes I was considering.
The sushi roll is amazing. The Thai noodle was okay but a bit pricy. The Korean crispy tofu is also good but not perfect. Service is amazing. The hosts are super friendly and accommodating. Will definitely visit again on my next trip to NYC. Must try the vegan sushiii. You won't regret it.
Franchia Vegan Café is one of my go-to spots. The ambiance is beautiful—traditional, minimal, and elevated. It’s spread out over three stories with really comfortable seating, so it always feels spacious and calm. The menu is super extensive—there’s something for everyone, and the food is consistently delicious. Service is fast, portions are generous, and the prices are solid.
Probably my favorite restaurant in all of NYC. Awesome interior design, friendly staff, great tea offerings, and the food is delicious. I recommend the stone bowls or the "chicken" sizzler.

This place is insanely delicious. I went twice because of how good it is! And the staff are super kind as well. Definitely go! The sushi was delicious and very well priced

Food was delicious, service fantastic (maybe too good? Haha all our food came out close together and we ran out of room) Lion’s mane app was the only fish that was maybe 3/5* … fried noodles 4/5* …
The best and nicest vegan restaurant I have ever visited in the US! I had the best solo Dining experience ever. Great seating , lighting , music , atmosphere, and authenticity in presentation, i…
The food was great, we had a mix of different items from the menu. The only thing I didn’t care for was the simulated bone, a thick skewer, in the wings. I’m not vegan but wasn’t expecting it, be careful. I always enjoy a good vegan place and will return.
During my visits to this restaurant, I had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes from their menu, giving me a comprehensive taste of their offerings. Here's a breakdown of my experience: For starters, the combination pancakes were a delightful start to the meal. Among them, the scallion pancake stood out with its savory and perfectly cooked texture. However, the fried dumpling, while tasty, leaned towards being excessively oily, which slightly detracted from its overall appeal. The Peking Duck Baos, unfortunately, didn't quite meet my expectations in terms of flavor and presentation. Moving on to the main course, the Spicy Franchia Noodles left me with mixed feelings. While it was decent, I didn't encounter any standout elements that set it apart from similar dishes. The Rainbow Sushi, featuring a variety of flavors, showcased the restaurant's creativity. Among them, the spicy tuna stood out as the highlight, with its well-balanced spice and freshness. The BBQ meat sushi was also commendable, although the crispy shrimp fell short of delivering a satisfying experience. One dish that didn't quite hit the mark for me was the Avocado Bibimbap. Its lack of flavor left me underwhelmed, and I would instead recommend trying the Curry Chicken Bibimbap, which I'm eagerly looking forward to having on my next visit. The presentation of the Curry Chicken Bibimbap in a hot stone adds an extra layer of excitement to the dining experience. Overall, the food at this restaurant exceeded my expectations, showcasing a range of flavors and culinary techniques. I would highly recommend this establishment, especially if you find yourself in the area. The attentive staff and the serene ambiance further enhance the dining experience, making it a pleasant choice for a memorable meal out.
I really like this place. The food is fresh and made to order. There's clearly a lot of care put into preparation. Everything is vegan and very tasty. Some dishes are more tasty than others. The first time I came, I enjoyed the Drunken Noodles 😀 (delicious!) The hot and sour soup was also a winner. During my second visit, I ordered the basil chicken and kimchi pancakes. Both were good 🫤 but I would try something else next time. Nothing memorable. The staff are also warm and personable. I enjoy people watching from the outdoor patio.
Established 21 years ago, this all vegan sister restaurant to Hangawi is completely different and absolutely fantastic! While I would prefer the place was brighter and the wood supported seats, comfortable with leg room, they have a classy decor and music accompaniment. The $25 min per customer listed on the dining menu is a bit disconcerting but easily matched Service was efficient, professional, friendly and they did well with special orders. They have a rather large Korean and Asian inspired tea, drink, salad, appetizer, entree and dessert selection with average pricing. On our last visit the woman at the next table was raving about her Bim Bim Bap. We enjoyed the Rainbow Roll with avocado, barbecue pork, fried shrimp and tuna puree and the Crispy Korean Chili Tofu with an irresistable, sturdy battered tofu and unique garlic chili sauce. The Ube Coconut Creme Brulee's supposed caramelized sugar topping, is an unneccessary thin, hardened sugar sheet but otherwise the purple pudding was perfect, creamy, light, tasty and fresh
Very diverse menu with Thai, Japanese, Malaysian, Korean, etc cuisines. Nothing particularly stood out this time as most delicious, flavors were average but will be trying out some more dishes next time to add to this review. Service was good and atmosphere nice (little loud), quite busy on a Tuesday evening
Lovely if not drafty ambiance. Delicious food and pleasant service. A wonderful place to have large steaming mugs of tea if you don't want to have a full meal.

Yum!!!!! The vegan ramen was delicious and the sushi was outstanding. Prices are a little high, but at least the food quality was amazing. The takeout service was fast and the time they gave me for…
The food is all in all not bad. The place is ver dark (romantic?) and a lttle on the expensive side for what you get.
Really like the food and atmosphere but service is exceptionally, almost ridiculously lax and prices are wildly high for qhat you get. Ordered the chicken curry which was delicious but was pretty much indistinguishable from boxed S&B golden curry. charging $25 for that is insane. Would also prefer more vegetables instead of potatoes, especially when the dish already has rice. Also dishes need specifcs listed.
Found this place to be average overall - not disappointed but not impressed either. My friend and I ordered 1. Ramen lunch that comes with 2 dumplings - ramen was pretty decent, dumplings were average 2. Lunch tray - same two dumplings, “duck” salad which had three tiny miserly pieces of duck but otherwise tasted good, fried calamari which was good, and crispy chilly tofu which was not crispy in the slightest 3. Chai tea - it was so bland it was disappointing Service - underwhelming from the time you step in. You feel a little unwelcome as the staff don’t greet you, barely acknowledge you, and run around as if they’re busy though the place was less than half full. The only good aspects I can talk to were the variety and price point of the lunch tray, and the speed of service ensuring you leave within an hour.
Ok I love Hangawai, so I was really excited to try Franchia! I got the combination dumplings, and the combo pancakes. The dumplings were overall pretty tasty though a bit on the bland side. The pancakes unfortunately were disappointing - overly oily, thick, and lacking in flavor. They weren’t crispy and all 3 varieties tasted the same. I really wanted to love this place but based on what I got, I’d give it 3.5 stars.
The food was ok, but not as great as I had expected. I liked the baby dumplings, the rest of the family liked them less. The sushi had way too much sauce on it. The vegan salmon roll was ok, the ve…
Nice midtown Manhattan location. The staff was pleasant. The kitchen was fast. We made a reservation for an early dinner to play it safe. Large price tag for feeding 5 adults. $250 for the meal a…
This has been one of my favorites for years. I couldn’t wait to come back after the pandemic. I am still Squeamish about eating indoors, so I ordered takeout spring rolls and pad Thai. I am sorry t…
the administrator's attention is terrible, today I had a reservation at 8, I arrived earlier and as there were tables available, I only had to advance it, as I had a reservation they told me no. …
