I’ve only had my own interpretation of Avocado Toast, which is just toast, agucate, and Everything Bagel seasoning (amazing). But Fruces created a scrumptious bite. Toasted whole wheat with grains and seeds, with a slightly citrusy avocado spread. Its topped off with black pepper-dressed boiled eggs, and pink pickled onions sprinkled on top, which that balances out the bite. The presentation is so appetizing and its affordable.

Healthy options are a must for Harlem! This place fits the bill swimmingly. I work at City College and come here at least 2 or 3 times a week. Everything from coldbuster smoothies to daily greens you can get from here. They also sell whole fruit and just started making acai bowls. Worth the trip!

Fresh & healthy juices using noticeably high quality produce. Very clean little shop with helpful and friendly employees too. I’m only upset that I didn’t start coming here sooner!

You know that a juice spot is good when you can smell it from outside the door. The owner (and head juicer) prepares super smooth smoothies that cradle your taste buds. Highly recommended, way cheaper than your average midtown juicers, with great customer service. Get the Vitamin C! Ginger is great.

Mucho mango smoothie is very refreshing and tastes so fresh. Only feedback is I wish it were made a little more icy, but that's just my personal preference with smoothie drinks. Great customer service and they take card!

They happily customized my Purple Haze smoothie(sub vegan protein for almond butter and sub coconut water for almond milk) and it was great! Although I still prefer the taste of a Liquteria smoothie, this was less expensive and felt a bit healthier. $8 for a smoothie (thankful for the NY discount!). Although I usually opt to make smoothies at home, Fruces Juice Bar is a great place to grab a smoothie on the go.

But the last time I stopped by during a walk, I had a pretty unpleasant experience. I noticed the online price says $12, which I hadn’t really paid attention to before, so I asked Maddie about it. Her response was rude and unfriendly. However, I had my mouth set on a bowl so I still went ahead and ordered my usual, the Ultimate bowl. Every single time in the past, I’ve asked for a little granola on the side (because when it’s delivered, the heat turns it mushy), and it’s never been a problem. They’ve always given me a small amount in one of those little to-go sauce cups when I asked without an issue. But this time, Maddie tried to charge me $1 for it. I told her I just wanted a tiny bit on the side, and she replied, “Whoever gave that to you, it was out of courtesy,” basically saying she wasn’t going to do the same. Her attitude was off-putting. On top of that, the açaí bowl itself wasn’t up to the usual standard. The fruit was hard and not fresh or juicy like it normally is. It’s upsetting bc I love this spot but everyone VALUES customer service and they are slacking on it.

I waited for 20 min for an acai bowl. People who ordered after me got the same product sooner than me. The cashier lady just kept telling me that my order is not ready. This is the most ridiculous experience I’ve ever had.

Charged me an extra $2 to substitute almond butter with nutella on a bowl after many months of ordering. I hope it was worth losing a customer forever. Shameful.

Why say an Acai bowl costs $12 on your website if your rude staff will yell at people on the phone saying “all bowls are $15” instead of just acknowledging that the website is incorrect. 1/5 stars only go there if you want to be overcharged and gas lit about their posted prices
