We were looking for an Irish pub & this one was actually open on Sunday morning. The staff was great! I got a simple breakfast (pancakes & bacon) which was very good & my husband got a burger which was great! We would love to be back!

Bouncing for St Paddy's weekend and great atmosphere watching Cup Final between Liverpool and Newcastle, not cheap $11 for a Stella but going rate for N.Y. Food was excellent and staff were excellent considering the bar was absolutely mobbed. Seating was a problem but wouldn't expect it to be this busy on more normal weekends.

Was in town for the week at the Big East Tourney. Came with a mixed group of Marquette, St John's, and UConn alums. We knew legends was the UConn bar but last year they were welcoming, so we checked it out again. Glad we did, because we were back every night. Service was a 10/10, which is often difficult to find on game nights around MSG. Shane, behind the bar, was awesome and the whole crew barely let our drinks get empty. Loved the sports banter and overall good vibes of this bar. Will definitely be making it our homebase again next tourney.

I had the Tex Mex Burger (I'm from Texas) and it was delicious. Friend of mine had the salmon and had zero complaints. Other foods that were brought out to other tables looked just as good. I would go here every time. Non biased, had several NFL games on.

My family and I visited this place to watch an NFL game, but they only had soccer on. Despite this, the owner and host were incredibly kind and went out of their way to set up a whole section upstairs just for the football game. We were treated with the utmost respect, the food and drinks were excellent, and the experience was unforgettable. If you're looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and great service, this is the place to go!

I enjoyed my time at Legends. From the moment I entered I liked how welcoming most of the waiters and waitresses were. It was a pretty lit bar with many people getting amped up for the games going on which made it fun. Overall, I liked the Irish Mule and beers I ordered.

Downstairs is the football factory where the games and supporters clubs meet. A great place to come and a brilliant place to watch your team.

Love this place ! Just moved to NYC from the south and we went here to watch LSU football games a few times. Every time I’ve been here I’ve had a great experience. The staff is always so so nice! The bartenders , servers , and hosts always give good service. The host is the BEST and always find us somewhere to sit somehow, even when it’s really busy! He always makes sure we are satisfied and helps in any way possible. Definitely gonna keep going back to watch future games.

Host quickly found an area for our big party, truly made us feel welcomed. We were constantly being asked if we needed anything. Our waitress was amazing, very kind, she made sure we had water and even charged our phones! Waitress was very patient and gave us enough time for us to place our order. Thank you for being so nice! This is a fun atmosphere and fun bar. We’ve eaten here a few times and mean the food is good. It’s nothing super special super traditional pub food. I definitely recommend going for a soccer game. The environment is awesome fun and exciting the only downfall you might not be able to get a seat. Especially on those days of both football and soccer. It’s quite overwhelming in here. But I have noticed a change that they’ve been opening up more seats for soccer fans on the weekends.

I was on the main floor by the bar for most of the evening but they do have tables with high stools for groups and a separate dining room as well. There is a second level which is downstairs. From what I saw there were tables and chairs but it wasn't as made up as the main floor. There was a decent amount of staff for the amount of people that were there. I was at a PPV sporting event so I expected it to be packed. I didn't have any problems with the service. The restrooms were easily accessible and clean. The prices for food and drinks were about what you'd expect nowadays. The food was good. It won't blow your mind but it is satisfying. Overall I'd say it was a good experience. 👍

This LSU bar is cool. Lots of TV's and the decor make you feel like your in Louisiana. Couches upstairs and tables and a large bar on the main floor. The food was good too.

There was $10 cash cover to enter. The person at the door didn't even know whether our game was on. No service, only self-service at the bar. The basement is cavernous, and you couldn't watch more than one match. There are better alternatives (unless you're partisan and your NYC fan club is unfortunate enough to be based there). 3 stars because of the atmosphere.

I went to Legends for a group event. The entire place was pretty much shut down. They were requiring $20 drink or food minimum. It's a great venue for events. Large screens all over the place, chill atmosphere. I had the veggie burger and fries. That was under $20 and a mixed drink. Food wasn't bad despite a long wait. It could've been the event, but it took a little over 30 min. The bartender at least made a decent mixed drink. I like the venue. The bar area has plenty of seating and the upstairs has comfy seating. Great place to see the games. I would've given it a higher rating if there were more veggie options, but it's a pub so I suppose that's expected. I would still come back. It's one of the better sports bars in NYC.

When I attended early afternoon, the place was largely empty (maybe 6 patrons). I would have stayed and spent more here but the discrepancies in menu prices at the venue and online (e.g. onion soup online is $8, on the venue menu it’s $12, plus there are no displayed prices for beers) disconcerted me. Food was no more than ok, service was ok too.

Service was good and hence 3 stars. Drinks were $15 each and while the ingredients said Grey Goose, they tasted watered-down. It felt like we were paying $15 for lemonade. Gratuity is automatically added so add more tip on your own discretion. Location is pretty good since they are right by Empire State Building which may explain the likely touristy approach.

Nice location . Very busy 33rd street and this one was right opposite to Empire State Building . Was crowded and a good soccer / sports bar . Hardly any space in the bar. Service was toooooo slow . Had to sit on the far end and no one came servicing that side . They had good options for beer and IPAs. Beer was about 10-12$ . Was a bit pricey but ok for an office party or friend’s get-together. Soccer bar with good food but poor service. It took a long time standing in the front just to get someone to seat us. Place was fairly empty. 10-15 minutes after getting a table, I had to go back to the bar to get drink service and request a server for ordering lunch. The food was really good, french onion soup and turkey brie sandwich were really good once we finally got to order. I'd have rated higher but the service from start to finish was pretty bad.

Having visited on two separate occasions there is no reason to grab a drink here unless you want something nearby and fast. The fact I will note is the staff is friendly and attentive. However, all I can advise is to not order anything other than a beer. I ordered a Moscow mule and was delivered a strange variant which likely was just ginger ale and vodka. On another occasion I was seated outside near an individual who had passed out and likely urinated in the seat. Perhaps this is a good bar for viewing a game but aside from that I simply cannot recommend this location.

Scenery is great, drinks are good. But don't come here for the food. Terrible taste. We had the shepherds pie, and a burger. Burger had no flavor in spices but definitely tasted over crisped. You have to go downstairs into an overcrowded basement to watch the important football matches which doesn’t seem like very good value for money, you get a can of beer included with entry because you’re not going to be able to get another drink at the bar due to the capacity. They do make an effort to mimic that stadium atmosphere with drummers playing and chanting if that’s your thing but it’s honestly not worth it if that’s what you’re paying cover for. Service downstairs is pretty bad, got beers spilt on me by the waitress when watching the TV as they walked past because it’s just so busy down there, also the quality of some of these screens isn’t great on some of them, pictures kind of off but that’s a bit of a nitpick. Went upstairs to get food at the bar and escape the downstairs intensity, barman was friendly and polite and got a burger which wasn’t bad either. But honestly go to Smithfield Hall instead, much better venue and space and doesn’t charge you.

Disappointed. Came here for fun to visit where the NYC Crystal Palace fans watch their games which we did see briefly. However, our server was very rude, telling us off for ordering wrong before she then got our order wrong and slammed drinks down on the table. No need for such poor service.

I ordered beef sliders with french fries, and the best part about it was that the fries were freshly fried. No sauce. The sliders were way too greasy, seeping out fat. Terrible experience with a rude staff during UFC 299. First I asked for a Red Bull. They brought dirt Red Bull. I asked for a regular. They said there are no more. The picture below shows they had plenty. And for some odd reason refused to give it to me. Then I asked for a coke no ice instead. They brought it with ice. When I asked them for one without ice. They said ask the next server. The next server said the same. Then finally the last one took it with an attitude and finally brought me this flat soda. I don’t get what I did to be treated this way. Paid cover to get in too. Absolutely disappointed.

Be careful here. Decent bar food but we were taken advantage of with magically changing drink prices. We confirmed with our waitress that Jameson shots were $8.50 (per website updated price) and then we were charged $14 each (1oz shot). Bartenders and wait staff then added automatic gratuity and refused to acknowledge the discrepancy.

Don’t come here for the FIFA Club WC. Just tried to come watch the Bayern Boca game and was turned away for wearing a Bayern Jersey. Ordered chicken tenders for my son, both he and the wife tried them and recognised it as fish. The way it broke apart wasn’t chicken like at all. When we raised it with the staff they gaslighted us and told us it was chicken breast. Very disappointed with the food, the service and experience. We had a fun night. We're here to celebrate a bday and watch the game .Unfortunately one of our friends got sick due to consume cheese because a lactose intolerance. And they just kick us out. Just because my friend was not filling well. That was unacceptable. We all feel unwelcome and theater like a pieces of garbage.

This places is calling for 0 to -10 stars. I used to have such a good time here. But ever since it changed owners I have experienced REALLY bad services. I tried to give it another chance today and it ended up being even worse then the last few tries. Still bad service, but add to that none of the TV's had current football games on. They were showing Re-runs during a co ference championship. Music was aweful and too loud. Finally they got the game on but now near us. It felt like it took 10-mins to serve water. Then a grown man started scream in spanish at new customers, struck (assulted) one in the head FROM BEHIND while screaming and forching him out of the bar, right in front of us and children. Oh did I leave out there were several children there. Place had really negative vibe. So sad this owner turned a great neighborhood spot into a dangerous place.

Went to every single Euro match here. Not just this time but for the last 10 years for World Cup too. Sometimes we were the only ones propping the bar up with 4 other people. Bar staff all knew us by name and were super good to us. Came to the final and even though we got there an hour early line was round the corner. One of the guys there recognized us and told us we could come in. Boss screamed us to the back of the line even though he's seen us like 30+ times. You literally squeezed out your best customers. Easy to take our money when nobody is there. Don't bother to have our backs otherwise. This place is dead to me.

The doorman @ The Empire State bldg recommended this place. Should’ve know better but oh well…live and learn. I was there around 4pm on a Friday. The bartender was not friendly and took her own sweet time to even acknowledge me. On top of that the lights were so bright they must’ve been on retina kill mode. So I just tried to make the best of “not feeling this place” and drank my $8 Brooklyn Lager. I asked Miss cranky if she could play some music instead of the Soccer news channel (no game just news). She looked at me with a scowl and said NO people are watching this. Spent $20 to watch the Jake Paul fight only for them to use a bootleg stream that crashes every 2 minutes. Ended up watching it on our phones with Netflix. I want my money back.

Cocktails were expensive and not very nice. They used sugar syrup in cocktails which for 16 dollars a cocktail was disappointing. The bill came with lots of additional extra's on including wrong price for cocktails, credit card fee and 20 % tip for a few drinks.

Nice bar, but the operators are obviously not very customer-oriented. We were there as tourists. The bill was just under $50, and I wrote a total price including tip of $57 on the check. $107 was deducted from my account. So they counted the total amount as a tip. This is a deliberate action ; it must have been clear to everyone that the amount included the tip. If you want to enrich yourself, you deliberately act in such a malicious way. SO PEOPLE, DON'T GO THERE. THERE'S A HIGH CHANCE YOU‘LL BE TREATED LIKE THIS.

My friends and I had a truly disappointing experience at Legends Bar in NYC. We went there on Sunday to catch a soccer match and were initially greeted by a server who asked if we wanted to order drinks. We explained we’d just arrived and were waiting a few minutes for another friend before ordering. Barely ten minutes later, an older man—apparently the manager—approached us in a harsh and confrontational way, insisting that we had five minutes to order and that there was a $20 minimum per person if we wanted to stay. His attitude was completely unnecessary. We had every intention of ordering, but the way he spoke to us made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. A polite explanation would have been enough, but instead, he chose to be rude and intimidating for no reason. We decided to leave immediately. In all my time going to bars in New York, I’ve never been treated with such disrespect. Legends clearly prioritizes strict rules over basic hospitality. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else—there are plenty of great bars in the city that actually know how to treat their guests.

Extremely unsatisfied , we had to give a card to open a tab just to order food at the restaurant!!.. when we received our bill had all these charges added and server Suggested her own tip without consulting us. She also disappeared before we could dispute it and when we did she said the computer chose the amount of tip!!!!… which is not what it said on the bill. Fish batter was no good at all. Appetizer came after the main meal. In restaurant my cocktail was served in a plastic cup but table next to us got proper glass cups. Our waiter Ayesha never came to check on us ,other than the waiter at the next table who came twice to check on us.

I had one of the worst bar experiences I’ve ever had at Legends Bar in NYC. We walked in on Sunday to watch a soccer game and were greeted right away by a server asking if we wanted to drink. We politely said we would wait just a few minutes for our friend to arrive before ordering. Literally less than 10 minutes after we got there, an older man—who seemed to be the manager—came up to us in an aggressive and threatening tone, demanding that we order within 5 minutes and spend a $20 minimum per person if we wanted to stay. We were absolutely planning to order but his attitude was so rude and unnecessary that we felt completely unwelcome. He could’ve easily just said it kindly and we would’ve had no issue—but instead, he chose to speak to us like we were doing something wrong after barely walking in. We felt uncomfortable and decided to leave immediately. I’ve never been treated so disrespectfully at any bar especially after less than 10 minutes of just sitting and waiting for a friend. Legends clearly doesn’t value its customers, and I’d recommend avoiding this place entirely—there are plenty of other bars in NYC where you’ll actually be treated with basic respect.

Wow… I usually don’t like to be vocal about negative experiences and while the actual amount over-reported was in fairness not a lot of money (we’re talking under a dollar) I definitely feel like this needs to be addressed as it reflects principle and honesty of this establishment and its employees. I did not leave the highest tip for my drink as I did not like the service I received. Sure, ok, we can move on from that. And no I’m not someone who always leaves a “10% tip”and lowballs. I’m not sure if they tried to scribble my amount and then alter it or they got pissed at a lower than expected tip and thought they could get away with it, hoping I wouldn’t notice the charge posted to my credit card statement. I can 1000% guarantee you this isn’t something you can mis read or type wrong - I rounded to a whole number… While tips are highly encouraged and frankly should be given since this economy is tough, they are at the end of the day optional. Keep in mind I have a few friends who are bartenders so I understand tipping culture and etiquette. Good thing I took a picture of my customer copy. You can be sure that I submitted a claim to my credit card company so I hope they will help me resolve this.

This bar has the worst door person. Two of us walked in, and a man who had been sitting in a chair not actively working and suddenly ran up to us yelling for our IDs and aggressively telling us to hurry and close the door behind us. As two women, having a 6-foot man rush at us and yell was genuinely scary and made us feel extremely uncomfortable entering the space. This was especially disappointing because the bartender was very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, the experience with the door person overshadowed that. I would not recommend this bar for groups of women due to how unsafe and uncomfortable we felt.

This is supposed to be an espresso martini.. is not right the bartender charges us 35$ for 2 and we didn’t even drink it.. I was so excited to come to this place because we follow the chef in social media and is so sad that we have this bad experience.

I called the establishment before | arrived to see if they were showing the Eubank vs Benn fight. when I arrived they told me it is $20 to get in. I then called to speak to someone on the phone (the manager) and he also stated it was free. Then I walked back to the door and called the manager in front of the security guard and he stated it was free. The security guard heard the manager say it was free and walked into the establishment to tell the manager what he just heard. the manager came out and when he saw me all of a sudden it's no longer free. Mind you they are letting multiple white men walk in without paying. If this is lie tell them to play the camera back on Nov/15/25 at 5:41pm. Also below 1 put the screenshot in of the calls I made why would I call three minutes apart for no reason when I first got there he told me it was $20. I called management. They told me it was free. I turned back around called management in front of the security guard, the manager cone comes out and then all of a sudden I can't come in. PLEASE READ THEIR YELP REVIEWS CAUSE GOOGLE MAKES THEN SEEM LIKE THEY DO NO WRONG

As a Louisiana native and LSU alumni I don’t know how they can even call themselves the official LSU bar; as I have never been treated so poorly as a patron in my entire life; Than how I was treated when I went to watch the game at Legends. I made the mistake of having a drink in my purse from a prior party, and the waitress noticed as I was going through my purse that I had to drink on the table, and when she asked to confiscate it, I willingly gave it up and said that it was a mistake and then she came back and had Security kick me out 10 minutes later. The way that the bartender Jessica spoke to me and embarrassed me; It was like they were trying to shame and humiliate me as if I was deliberately breaking some law that I was unaware of. Given that Louisiana is an open carry state and that the my nature to have alcohol in and out of bars, it was a simple mistake not knowing the law in New York City. I will never return As a patron to support their bar, who treats their customers with such discrimination.
