The place is always jam packed. If you want to experience everything in the menu. Come no later than 9pm. Because after that.. The only choice You will have are the leftover chickens. I mean to say..they are still freshly cooked... But that's it. The other entrées are gone.
Took me back to middle school/high school times. I'm 55yo now and hadn't had Churches in years. The Bisquick with that caramelized toping even better than I remember. Thank you
Chicken freshly made! So much lighter than KFC. Really tasted good! Juicy bite! Skin incredibly crispy and well made. Worth the drive!
Bruhhhh. Churches hot and fresh every time... son says top 5
I love Church’s Chicken. It is definitely within my top 3 favorite fried chicken franchise. The price is good, the flavor is great, and the chicken is always crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.
Love their chicken! Better than KFC or Popeyes. They have spicy chicken if that's what you're craving. The service was excellent. The crew there are nice, courteous not pushy. Restaurants is clean. Worth the drive.
food quality consistently fresh out of the fryer, good temperature and seasoned. out of all the various church's around the 562 area, this is the top 1 or 2. mostly approachable service. can't let a "bad" day bring the 5 stars down.
Best service and delicious FRIED CHICKEN. KFC WHO????
Exceptional fried chicken, deliciously fresh biscuits, and some finger-licking fried okra... Better go get some! Although it can be very busy at times and customers are lined up 7-10 deep, the product and the customer service is top notch.
If you like your fried chicken crisp, hot, buttery, and juicy this is the place to go. I can't say for all other locations because I've never been, but Church's at this location never disappoints. This is my first review and I only put it cause they've been consistent for the last 20 years.
Love the daily deals and their chicken & biscuit meals. Glad they got on the chicken sandwich hype train. Popeyes wins with their spicy sandwich, but Church's,.takes the cake for the non-spicy category🏆 also, try their lemonade (perfect for a warm day) it's less than $3 for a half gallon. If they have the strawberry syrup available, ask if they could squeeze a couple pumps in a cup.for you to add to the juice jug. 🍓🍋🧊🥤☀️🍗
I have tried Popeye's, KFC ... even multiple other Church's fried chicken locations. The Church's Chicken at this location has gotten to be the best fried chicken in the area bar none. The staff was cordial and courteous. The chicken was crunchy outside and juicy inside. It was also perfectly seasoned with a spicy kick. I highly recomend this place.
The best customer service ever! I just left and had to give a review. I was helped out by an older gentlemen, wish i could have gotten his name but he looked like the manager. He was so nice, greeted me with a huge smile and even joked around with me. I was actually in a rush to catch the metro and he even had his crew speed it up just so he could make sure i caught it in time...for anyone who takes public transportation you know thats a blessing. On top of the amazing service the chicken sandwhich was the best!!! The chicken so delicious and crispy. It honestly was be the best sandwhich and experience for just a dollar.
They say to much beef is bad for you so I tried my favorite chicken from Church's Chicken..... And well so far so good. It's a great part of the food group. Cleaner than before and updated. Good job texas pete with your sauce from Texas for t makes this chicken bounce without flavor. Sincerely Jesus Banda's honest reviews.
There chicken is fantastic I rate the quality of chicken by how it tastes re heated there chicken taste the same fresh or re heated. They also have a great deal 3 pieces and a Biscuit for 5.:50 there Biscuits are awesome
Experience was great checking the mashed potatoes, gravy, mac & cheese, two piece, meal
(Pro) Chicken was really good, hot, and very fresh. (Con) Some of the Hispanic Lady workers at the pick up window are kind of rude. When you ask them for Napkins, Plates, condiments, they look at you as if the money is coming out of their pockets, and if you are getting the meal for free already. They give you like 5 or 6 napkins if you're lucky when you ask. How do they expect you and your family to clean greasy chicken from your hands when little napkins and ordering a family meal, especially with little kids!!!
I was really excited to find a Church's Chicken. We got the10 piece mix w/ coleslaw, mashed potatoes, fried okra, 4 biscuits and sweet tea. Everything was how I remember it growing up. Crispy, juicy fried chicken and the fried okra was awesome. I was so happy to get some good fried okra! The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. (You can see the kitchen from the counter.) The dining area is small with 4 or 5 tables. We were happy with our meal.
I have been going to this place for years. I would consider Church's to be my favorite one. They are just satisfying with the food and the price.
Best fried chicken. I recommend taking it to go. Very friendly staff
So far, out of all the Churches Chicken in LA County,my family and I will go and eat in Norwalk,Ca. The service and food taste great. Also it's clean inside as well. We live in Orange County and will drive far to have some good fast food😋🍻
This Church's is always serving good chicken hot and ready, and I never got a bad batch so far. There is a good amount of breading, but it's well fried and I like it. Chicken is always cooked thoroughly, even though they serve up large pieces. Mashed potatoes and gravy is good if you like the puree. It's not chunky here. Honey biscuits are amazing and are great every time. Must-have if you're ordering from here. Coleslaw is pretty good here. Not too mayonnaise-y, just enough of everything. Similar to KFC slaw. And they give you Texas Pete's hot sauce if you ask. I love vinegar hot sauces on my fried chicken. They have some deals on their window, but you can also look online for a coupon. You can comfortably feed 3 for $30, $10 / person. There's space to dine-in, which is nice to have. They serve customers quickly and efficiently. The area is a little janky, but I will be back again.
I love their spicy chicken and biscuits. Cheap fried KFC style chicken with a lot of options. 3 pieces and a biscuit for 5.99 is a steal.
This place is the bomb, the lady's in there hold it down. Apart from what I've seen them put up with to continue to be there and serve the quality that they serve up really does say something. My number one churches that I would go to. Young man at the register also very nice, kept his composure when an upset guy came back complaining his order was wrong. Oh and I always get spicy, regular is great to but the spicy is my ishhhhh!
Can’t believe I haven’t had Church’s is nearly 6 years! Still so good like I remember and the biscuits are the greatest I’ve eaten, and definitely miles better than the ‘other’ fried chicken restaurants!
I must honestly say that every chicken that died in this shop was worth it.!
Friendly service and fresh food - everything was hot and fresh, especially the fries. They always have outstanding service. Restaurant is clean.
The chicken, especially the spicy version is great tasting food. Tried the spicy version for the first time about a month ago and I enjoyed it so much that I've went back for '2nds and 3rds' within the past 2 weeks. The sides are really good as well. Gotta always get fries and the honey butter biscuits with my chicken. Double thumbs 👍🏽 up for the new, rebranded Church's Texas Chicken.
I’m giving this place a 5 star all to the gentlemen that took my order tonight. After an intense workout. Haha I was starving for church’s chicken haven’t had it in years and drove by. Was thinking about the honey biscuit the whole time working out. He greeted me, took my order, gave me my drink. And while I was waiting which wasn’t very long. I about finished my Arnold Palmer. ( half sweet tea and lemonade). My order was done and he made sure to ask me if I needed utensils ketchup and hot sauce. Then kindly ask if I needed some more drink. Which I appreciate soo very much! I was super thirsty. Great quick service I enjoyed!
Placed the order on their app. It was ready when I arrived. The team there were welcoming and friendly. They had control working their stations. Clean inside, the chicken looked perfectly cooked. Juicy tender and a crunch. They were busy. I can see why people go there for their chicken. Their honey biscuits are moist and delicious. I will return when I am craving fried chicken.
I love the staff here and they let me order exactly what I want...hassle free. Their chicken is always cooked perfectly and they are very fast. 👨 👩 🍗 😋 😋 😋 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️ Only downside is no drive thru. You know it's good if I'm willing to walk in for it 😆 Keep up the good work guys so the neighborhood can keep supporting you 😃
Everything - friendly staff, perfect foods ~ Great-Tasting!!! Better and lesser expensive than Popeyes.

The fried chicken is so tender and juicy. I specially like the spicy one. It's so tasty. Yum yum~~.

Clean environment, Service was great and timely manner. Food was perfect not over cooked at all. Will be back ! \n I came all the way from Orange County
It's at excellent location and usually busy. NOT a great place to eat in but not bad for take out. Normally there is a line but they move pretty quick. By the way I think this place is much better than KFC or Popeye s.
Consistent food quality, nothing really to write home about but a reliable choice for fried and grilled chicken
They had a long line. The food was good but the service was slow and the cashier lacked common sense. She wasn't rude she just gave out the wrong orders to the wrong people.
The interior and parking lot are small, but the chicken is good. Church's is better than KFC in that department. If you want a large order to take home then I'd say this is a good place
Food is great definitely a most go place for quick bites only issue with the location is that I ohave order the same several time a #5 spicy chicken I order it with out pickles and every single time it come with pickles but besides that everything was great
Good old fried chicken 🍗! Compared to KFC, I think it's better & for a cheaper price. Try their fried Okra...I just wish they would use actual honey for their biscuits instead of handing out the immatation high fructose corn syrup.
Fresh and good taste fried chicken. The bread that cover the chicken doesn't hold too much oil and the oil is fresh new which doesn't make my body makes phlegm or builds up more mucus in my throat. Very good fried chicken place!
Food is great service is above average and atmosphere is also above average only thing keeping it from being 5 stars is it's small and very popular and the occasional language hiccups that rarely happen love the food though favorite being the Texas style bourbon chicken to bad it's a seasonal item get it while you can you won't regret it.
Food is great. Customer service and time food is ready sucks balls! Employees make you feel unwelcomed and you have to almost beg for condiments(honey and hot sauce) ordered 10 pieces of chicken and 12 biscuits and got 3 hot sauce packets and 3 honey packets. When asked for more i was greeted with an attitude from employee as if i was stealing something. Food is delicious though.
The chicken here is always good for my taste buds! I only come here for the chicken especially bcuz it's juicy and tasty! The biscuits are a little bit too dry for my taste. The service is prompt, kind and courteous. I really don't think you can mess up fried chicken unless you over cook it too where it loses it's juicy taste. With that said, I don't really have anything else that I can add but to say if you haven't tried it you're missing out on something tasty. Lastly, I do come by here every month bcuz I enjoy the chicken flavor.
Very good fried chicken, judged by a southern boy. Nice and crispy, moist, good flavor. Mashed potatoes and gravy not good, odd medicinal flavors. French fries and Cole slaw decent Biscuit would be better without honey glaze Chicken is the strong point of menu
this place is great when it hits but bad when it’s bad. the sides are dookie except for a few. chicken is crispy and juicy and nice staff. some trash on the floors and bathroom but overall nice interior. 7/10 i would probably come again.
It just gets complicated ordering a Tuesday special. I ordered two regular, and one spicy Tuesday special. They bagged them separately, but I tasted just to be sure. I would ask them to mark the bag instead of playing chicken roulette. The sweet tea I got is amazing. I always ask for light ice too. The sweet tea was not too sweet, but the perfect amount. My spicy chicken was crispy and juicy too. The place is small with a small parking lot, but they’re making really good spicy chicken!
I love the food served here. “ELMOND” was working at the front register and he was an amazingly courteous and polite employee. Sadly, I’m unable to say that for the other staff. “ELMOND” had such positive characteristics and I noticed he shared that with other customers as well. Thank you “Elmond”!!
Fried chicken is always good and you don't come for the lack of service
While I feel like their regular fried chicken's taste is actually getting worse, their comeback smoked chicken was absolutely delicious. I do find the price a bit steep, though.
I really liked the fried chicken — it wasn’t too greasy and had great flavor. The service was okay, but could be better. I ordered some biscuits and asked for butter, but they said they didn’t have any. If I had known there was no butter, I wouldn’t have ordered the biscuits.
Fantastic staff and delicious hot food. The chicken tenders were fried to order along with my okra side dish. The atmosphere is no great shakes, but it's clean and the bathroom was well-maintained. I wish they had butter and a knife for the biscuits. That's disappointing and something other chicken fast food chains all carry.

They make good fried chicken. These are better then Popeyes but unfortunately they have closed a lot of stores so I mostly go to Popeyes. If they had more stores... They are crunchier and not as …
Their chicken is one of the best in town, the service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the ambiance reflects the area were it is located. It is nice but not really appealing.
February 16, 3023\n\nI was very disappointed. I've been coming to this Churches for35 years this year.... I got the * piece meal mixed... I told the lady I would wait for Hot freshly Fried chicken …
Order was wrong on two separate occasions. Second time I waited 30 minutes only to find out they forgot my order. I was in a hurry so my order was given and turned out it wasn't even what I ordered and stuff was missing. Staff is friendly and the food is decent but expect mistakes
Chicken is always good especially when it's fresh ... it depends what time of the day you go and you can catch it People: they rush you and seem bothered to work Cleanliness: it's clean to dine in and parking lot is accessible Handicapped friendly I have it a 3 because they don't know how to input coupons they offer and won't give you the coupon special
I didn't like this place. The owner was working the cash register and made it sound like he's doing me a favor by taking my order. Didn't smile, didn't say thank you. Did not feel welcomed here and I'm not going back. Also the place was too small and wasn't clean.
The chicken is great. I rated 3 stars because of the overall cleanliness of the restaurant. The restaurant is small and can only fit a few customers at a time. The tables are always dirty and the restrooms too.
I spent $50 here for them to give me only 3 packs of hot sauce and charge me $0.25 per sauce. I traveled all the way over here from Anaheim just to get this chicken. The employees here show no appreciation for their guests. They don't realize that their guests are the reason they are employed. The next time I feel like driving far for Church's, I am going to have to drive further than Norwalk because I will not be returning to this location again.
The spicy chicken sandwich here is mediocre. Burger King, KFC, and of course Popeye's is better. Given it may just be this location 🤷🏾♀️ You know Church's typically taste the best in the hood.😏 No disrespect but just stating facts 💯
The chicken sandwich was my favorite thing from here and now it is super basic and disappointing. The biscuits are top notch delectable and scrumptious, every time
Took 28min. To receive our order and we were the only ones in their!! (Family meal 12pcs.) On a Sunday. I've known the owner for years and I haven't been their in a couple of years since we moved and it's Never taken so long to get my order. A sorry or thanks for waiting would of been nice!! The food was good,But the service was Horrible.
Place is pretty good. The prices are nice. Right next to a bus stop so if you have time you can get a bit to eat before your bus gets there or go to the restroom. If it's hot out you can stop in for a drink to cool off from the hot sun.
First time trying this location, i will start with the good. The spicy chicken was amazing, fresh, crispy and delicious. The mashed potatoes i thought were really good as well, very hot and fresh. Now for the not so good, first the biscuit itself was ok, didn't taste old however it definitely needed more honey butter taste to it, and last but not least the mac and cheese was just awful, i will say it was nice and hot but the noodles were basically mush and not aldente, the cheese sauce was just ok but it didn't give off the baked fresh taste that you'd expect being advertised as such. The employees seemed fine nothing really to complain about in terms of service. Decent spot worth eating at, and hopefully they'll fix the mac and cheese lol
The food is good, however many of these location do not cater to families. I ordered the 10-piece family meal. However if you ask these folks for a few plates and forks so you can serve your family 'it's like pulling teeth they refuse to give you much! this is why I don't come back here so often. Expect to be given 1 plate 1fork and maybe 2 napkins to share with a family meal of 5 !
I didn't have too bad of an experience from this spot but the restaurant was a tad bit unclean and they didn't have a bathroom for customers. I Wall d in normally and the guy at the register was alert. He didn't greet me but he was alert. I asked to purchase one biscuit, he suggested the 3 promotion. So I got three. I then decided to get a drink A strawberry Blast, he didn't ask me what size I wanted but pulled out a large cup so I guess there was only one size. He gave me honey for my biscuits and a straw. I then proceeded to a table in the back of the extremely small restaurant and to my surprise the tables were dirty all of them. So I kindly reapproached the register and asked the employee to clean the table or if he could get someone else to. He proceeded without hesitation but with some hesitation and cleaned the table. Then there was a man I don't even know where he came from. He just started ordering the guy to clean more tables but he only did one of the 4 other tables outside of the one I was going to be having my Meal. The employee returned to his register and the man started asking the employee if he was ordering food and if he paid for the food he ordered. The employee made a mumbled response but I could not hear. They don't offer dine in WiFi or any customer service tools. But good biscuits and very good lemonade, bad to see this business handled like that
Took forever and everyone was on their phones but food was hot and delicious waited 23 minutes lol
Dear church's please train your employees better Your cashier today was very rude he needs some customer service skills training asap got to do better
Ordered 3 piece Got old dried out chicken that had been sitting for hours Watch which pieces they pick up Very disappointed in this service
Service was absolutely terrible, save for one guy that actually smiled and helped rather than glare. Asked for spicy chicken, lady verbally confirmed spicy, and I still didn't get spicy even though she was the one fulfilling the order. If you can go to a different location, I'd suggest you go there instead.
I catch the bus in the morning by the bus stop near this Church's chicken. On Alondra and pioneer and notice through the window that cooked chicken and biscuits has been sitting out from overnight. I also noticed it the day before. I hope you don't serve that to your customers. It makes a customer think that you don't clean your kitchen. I have a photo. This is around 7:15 am. Way before you open.
Usually the food is great here, especially for the price. However I recently got the big chicken bites box and every chicken bite I had was overly chewy and rather unpleasant. I've never had this problem before and it might just be the bites that are bad. I hope it won't happen again.
I have this nostalgia with their chicken and mashed potato. Their mashed potato and cheese poppers is what I remember. I love them. Their chicken dough was very salty and needed to eat when with bland carbs to balance out. I might have to expel kidney stones trying to eat their chicken.
Chicken was bland, no flavor. Wish I had been told that I could get spicy version. Small dining area
Went to the Churches Chicken location on the corner of Pioneer and Alondra and ordered 8 piece legs and thigh and a large order of Mashed potatoes with no gravy. Casher named Juana L gave me the chicken correct but a whole cup of gravy, no mashed potatoes. That just ruined my night paying $6 for just gravy and eating chicken with no side...
Customer service needs work. Waited for over 30 minutes before realizing multiple people had picked up their order and asked what happened to mine. They forgot somehow. All i ordered was a chicken sandwich and a 2 piece with biscuit. No apology and I ended up just asking for a refund rather than waiting anymore.
Always order a 2 pc meal and the lady has no problem in giving me up to 6 packets of hot sauce. And that today I ordered a 60 piece chicken she cannot give me more than 20 hot sauce packages, so ridiculous and doesn’t make sense at all.
As someone who loves churchs and has tried multiple locations. I will say out of all the churchs i've tried, this location has terrible sides. The spicy chicken was great, cooked like it should be. But the sides were awful. The mac n cheese noodles were mushy and disgusting. Tasted like unseasoned baby food. The biscuits tasted like they forgot to put butter in it. The mashed potatoes n gravy was just plain old gross. Gravy tasted like it had been sitting for a while. Service is way too quick for any of the sides to be fresh. We ordered our food and 2 minutes later it was ready. I don't think I'll ever eat at this location again.
I came in to buy chicken and was rushed to pick a combo while being spoken to with an attitude. Customer service felt unprofessional and unwelcoming. If staff are having a difficult day, it shouldn’t reflect in how customers are treated.
1/10/2026 = 6:05PM = 2 Star = additional star for the guy in the cashier , he allow me to buy all thigh, will try again soon if deserve another star . 7/7/2025 = 1 Star = i tried again to buy thigh part still refuse, they sell the chicken per pc , but they don't allow you to pick or choose what you like, ill try again maybe next year . because of that minus 1 star . 10/18/2022 = 2 Star = ask for mostly thigh part , looks like give ne more legs than thigh. Costumer service not good . Will try other branch next time
I order with frosting I payed a lot and still didn't get what iwanted they where busy arguing talking so much didn't even pay attention to customers or the food bad place I don't recommend you we'l…
Fraud in price. They put less pieces of legs and thighs on purpose after screening customers. It has happened three times for the past two months. I don't know how many pieces I have before opening…
All chicken raw not cooked completely color of meat is pink color and have a lots blood inside meat, I want full refund my money please
All chicken raw not cooked completely color of meat is pink color and have a lots blood inside meat, I want full refund my money please
This location is trash ! I waited over ten min just to receive stale day ole cold chicken on top on that the staff is not friendly or welcoming and I had to constantly ask for the things I paid for…
Good chicken but very very bad service the cashier very rude when I ordered something he's demanding me to buy something else and if you said no he gives a bad attitude to customers and if you don't ask for ketchup and honey they won't gave you any and when you ask they look at you with an attitude and hardly gave you some
Person serving was impatient but probably after a long day so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. But the food was gross the day I went here, it was more bread than chicken and all I could taste was salt, I ordered a pie but the paper sticked to the breading, so I had to cut a piece of it off.
Do not recommend. When you park and start walking on the side of the building the worker ladies just stare at you and also when you walk in. Once when I went there the lady didn't give me full change just because I was a teenager and probably thought I wouldn't notice. Also, the next time I went there I ordered 9 thighs, she repeated the order correctly but gave me legs and sometimes they are rude😔
The chicken is delicious, so I go there often, but I feel bad every time because of the woman who works there. It’s not just once or twice… I think I’ll start going to the Lakewood location. She doesn’t give me a fork or tissues, and when I talk to her, I feel like she’s rude and ignoring me, which makes me feel bad.
Even tho the area is small, the staff works extremely slow. I had an UberEats order with 2 deliveries & I felt bad for the 1st order I was picking up because their order was getting cold while the staff here at Church's chicken worked very slowly. Delivery orders should be prioritized or orders should be made & packaged accordingly as they come in. This would help the entire system of food, food delivery, & customer & employee satisfaction...
I can't understand why it takes do long to get an order ready!!! There was 1 couple already eating, and a man and his daughter waiting for their order and piles of chicken already made yet it still took 10 + minutes to get my order and the man was still waiting for his. The ladies preparing the chicken don't even ware hair nets. I don't think I'll be back.
It is so sad that though they are working through this epidemic many customer service employees have lost their communication skills, joy and just all around attitude and it shows not only in the easy they talk but in the way the food is prepared. Sloppy, cold and just out right nasty! Okra was soggy and old chicken was burnt in some areas biscuit was dry and I had more gravy than mash potatoes just horrible hasn't changed have it 2 tried they have lost a customer now 😭
Went a little bit before closing time and they wouldn't make me a chicken sandwich or even spicy tenders they made me choose from the dried out pieces they had sitting under the heat lamp. Not to mention the unsanitary conditions, the cashier went straight from touching money to handling my food and putting her dirty hand in to my fry bag without ever washing or sanitizing her hands, like she's trying to give covid a big come back🤢🤮
9/23/23 my husband and I went to this Church's. Food was Very Nasty & DRY & Bland. Everything the chicken, biscuits and corn. The corn did not taste like REAL CORN. It tasted funny. When you bite it was mushy on the inside. Nasty. VERY NASTY!!!!! THE CHICKEN WAS REQUESTED to be the FRESHEST THAT THEY HAD. NO SEASONING, NOTHING. JUST UUUUUGH UUUUUGH UUUUUGH!!!!!! NOT LIKE THEY USE TO TASTE. VERY DIFFERENT!!!! I WILL NOT RETURN. NO SIR... NO MA'AM!!!!!
The older 2 ladies that work here all the time are always gossiping instead of working, very rude and never acknowledge you.
Got fried chicken spicy version yesterday. They gave me refried old chicken. It was dry with a stale smell. It wasn't noticeable when it was warm, and it became more evident as it got cooler. I got sick in the middle of the night with a stomach ache with multiple bathroom visits. I ordered fried chicken multiple times here, but this time, I fell in the trap. Owners, if this happens again, I will have to forward your case to the Department of Public Health with a strong justification against your license, documenting all necessary evidence. I think you are aware of the further consequences from the department once the case is forwarded. Take immediate corrective action for the welfare of the consumers and the community.
Service is crap, cup lids are crap, order was missing items, handle money (change) on the counter then handle food. Not the first time.
Had a bad experience with the cashier tonight 2/3. The personnel did not accept the offer that was listed on the app. (Which I used many times before tonight - without any problems before). The worker seemed like he didn't even cared to explain why I couldn't when I tried asking why. But he given me a generic reaponse making me feel like I was forced to hurry up and pay. In this case,I did, but it left me leaving the store uneasy and unsure if I wanted to return to this location.
I just ordered an 8 piece mixed meal, 4 biscuits, 4 jalapeño poppers, mashed potatoes with gravy, large fry Fries were not fully cooked, taste stale /old &y 8 piece was incorrect, gave me no spicy! The gentleman tells me he gave me 1 jalapeño cream sauce, when I asked for 6 more (didnt mind the charge 25 cents) What am I going to do with 1?
On my way to Orange County I decided to stop here for dinner. This place is a joke. Fu ordered a chicken meal and paid . Upon receiving my dinner I asked for dipping sauce that is advertised in a picture in thier window she said we dont carry dipping sauce. I then asked for salt and pepper, butter, and honey. He opens the bag and it looked like he put everything g in there. I get to the car and as I'm eating I noticed there wasnt any butter so I go back and he said we dont carry butter . So thi call it bait and switch, False advertising. As I eat my dry mashed potatoes and dry biscuits both taste like they can out a cardboard box the disappointment that I wasted my hard earned money on food that was not edible but was incomplete. This place wouldnt last a week in Orange County.
The chicken did not have any flavor. I don’t know if the chicken was old, or not. The mac & cheese was nasty. I haven’t had church’s chicken in a long time and I don’t think I would ever go back, especially to this location or probably none of them.
It used to be the best church's. Lately they have been disregarding quality. I ordered a family 10 pc dinner with French fries and and zucchini. I get home and they gave me a side of smashed potatoes and the zucchini tasted bad, like they're going bad. The chicken was okay but next time I'll think of other options for chicken instead of them.
If I could give a - I would. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo. I asked the employee what was on it and she said pickle and mayo. I noticed the picture showed lettuce, I asked if it had lettuce and she replied we don't have lettuce anymore. I thought well I'll give it a try. My family got the family meal with 2 sides and biscuits. When I got home, I was tempted to throw it away. It looked gross, the mayo was layered and it smelt like miracle whip. I scraped it off, I added a bunch of stuff and it was still barely edible. The fried chicken was very greasy, mashed potatoes and gravy were bland. The only thing that was good was the biscuits. Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Side note, a solicitor walked in and was trying to sell fake ear buds and the employee was checking them out as the next customer waited to order.
