So I can needed the impossible a quick bite to eat before doing tourist stuff on 4th of July. Everything is closed in this town but bacon … we stroll in at 8:55 am. Some how some way with a full restaurant we were served and out in 35 minutes. Incredible!!! The speed of service the quality of food is next level. This place would rival some of the busiest best run restaurants in New York City or Los Angeles. Exceeded my expectations in every way. Also there’s parking in the back which is lovely.

I was looking for a place to sit down, have a bite to eat, & do some reading. I not only found a nice place to do that, but I was also delighted to see that they had some vegetarian options on the menu. The food was delicious & hit the spot after being gone from good ole fashioned American food for many years. The staff were attentive & kind. The atmosphere was pleasant. Not much to complain about at all. I’ll be back before I leave!

One of my Favorite spots in Novato!!! This small family owned restaurant is a go-to whenever I am in the mood for a great breakfast or lunch. Everything is made with care and I never get the feeling that things were slapped together in a rush. When I go for breakfast I love the hash brown selections and I often add a side of fried chicken. It is amazing, they add something special to the batter that makes it amazing! If you haven't ever tried it, take the Millionaire's bacon out for a spin. what a treat! If there for lunch their burgers don't disappoint (try the bacon burger). One of the other things that I love about this place is that the owner and family donates a lot to community efforts. As a resident that has children in the school system I appreciate and will support a local business that reinvests in the community. With that being said, what are you waiting for??? See you there! Actually, this makes me hungry, I'm gonna have lunch there now :-) Update 05/31/22: They added a fried chicken sando to the menu. YOU HAVE TO TRY IT!!! YUM!!! My wife had one of their benedict plates for a late breakfast and that was really good too! It tastes like they make their own benedict sauce there and not froma. packet which is a sign of a true breakfast spot.

One of the top places I've ever been to! Servers were extremely professional and attentive. Atmosphere was wonderfully clean and exquisite. Food was expensive but i would gladly pay for it again! The cook/chef who made it was the one who actually brought it out to me himself. The servers followed up with me to make sure everything was going well (rare these days). They were very timely in bringing me my meal and giving me my bill. They directed me to the restroom which was shared with the haircut place neighboring them which was spotlessly clean and well stocked. When i exited they made sure i didnt forget the item i had left on my table. Please visit this place if you are looking for breakfast/lunch!!

The name says it all... "Bacon"! Fantastic menu, perfectly poached eggs on the Benedicts which have a nice San Francisco twist - sourdough bread instead of the usual English muffin - kudos! Service was perfect and the location is on a very quiet street.

Located in the downtown area of Novato is this very popular breakfast restaurant. The service is excellent from the minute you walk in because you’re greeted by a very friendly staff. The food was delicious and they have plenty to choose from on their menu.

Clean, comfortable and solid food! Not a huge fan of deep fried French toast, prefer it griddled!

They generally have great food. Today the Eggs Benedict were overcooked and so they did not have runny centers. They remade them very quickly with no hassle. I appreciate that.

This simply named restaurant can be really busy on the weekends like it was for me on Sunday. I did have to wait almost 45 minutes from when I ordered until my food arrived, but I didn't mind. During that time, the friendly staff was attentive when I needed refills on my ice water, which is a plus. French toast was good, scrambled eggs were nicely cooked, and the bacon was crispy.

This has been a go to place for me for years, so was disappointed when in 2025 we had two consecutive visits with excessive wait times. Even with lots of empty tables in one case. Very strange - on our last visit we waited 40 mins and then left in frustration. They were quick to insist we paid for the black coffee we had while waiting… bizarre

I had corned beef hash and my husband had the standard breakfast with bacon. The corned beef was finely shredded, rather than chopped, then mixed with shredded potatoes which made the corned beef pretty dry. It was a pretty small serving and came with additional potatoes, toast and 2 eggs. The toast was cold. My husband's bacon was beyond crisp. He is not one to fuss, but I like my bacon chewy, so I would not have been happy. The dining room is large and very clean. There are a lot of paintings by the same artist of a particular style. I guess it's encouraging to see a budding artist getting hung! We have several great breakfast spots in town, so we probably won't go back unless the others are too crowded.

To be honest, I was expecting a little more. I know they were closed down for a while, but I’m not sure what four is. I’m not familiar with Novato that much. I went to a friend’s get together here for brunch and had the deep-fried French toast with eggs and bacon and a side of hashbrowns Considering the name of the place is bacon I honestly was not impressed with the bacon I received. It was chewy at best. The deep fried French toast and eggs were fine unfortunately I had finished my meal. I had been discussing things with my friends for a full 5 to 10 minutes before my hashbrowns finally showed up. It was a hot day in general and they had no air conditioning so they had the doors open and floor fans around the dining room . Most likely will not go back

Bacon's burgers are tasty and good. Even their fries are crisp and their salad sauce is spectacular. But after sitting we have to wait for another hour or so to get our food. The price is also kind of expensive for the size of the meal. The food and the kind staff are the redeemable qualities of Bacon.
