Rare Tea

Stopped here on a whim one day and have been craving it and coming back ever since! They put real blended fruit into many of their bubble teas and drinks which is refreshing and delicious and makes it stand out from the other cafes nearby.

I love this particular store. Let me expound. The ice: not too much. They don't skimp on the tea and give you a cup of ice. The cup: larger than most stores Milk: they make it taste like cream. It's the best. Tea: perfection Boba: perfectly cooked

Great staff they are extremely nice helpful very attentive to everything that’s going around them they say please thank you and I really feel they appreciate the business that I give them. The bobas are out of this world, and they have a wide variety of food that she is from. I definitely would recommend this place and I’ve taken mini friends here.

We order from here frequently on UberEats. One of our favorites to treat ourselves on a tough day or surprise for my wife. We have tried an assortment of drinks from here, but always add lychee jelly. The musubi are usually solid too

We got the peach fruit tea mango smoothie and popcorn chicken, all of which were fantastic. The workers are very nice and they gave us our food very quickly. The boba is chewy and sweet and the drink has just the right amount of tea. I would say it’s a pretty small shop but it has a good ambiance and has games that you can play too! Would definitely recommend!!

Checked out this little spot in Rockridge. Decent place for boba tea. Popcornb chicken wasn't my favorite, the batter was thicker than what I was used to. Friendly staff and quick service.

The Milk Black Tea they have doesn't taste that good (it tastes like walnut milk in my opinion). I recommend you to get the Lemon Black Tea, it's Goooood. Great food, I love popcorn chicken 🐔...

The price and size were very reasonable, and employee's were super nice (although they asked if we were related to our cousin for some reason, kinda strange but friendly). The boba and teas were delicious, and they had plenty of yummy options to choose from. They also had some food options, although we didn't try the meat thing our cousin got, cause we're vegetarian. Made my day better, so glad I went. This place is so much better than Boba Guys, which is just down the street. Do not try to go there, it won't be good. great place to get boba at RareTea!

The only complaint I have is that sometimes there is pulp from whatever fruit flavor you order (mango, passion fruit, peach, etc.) So keep that in mind when ordering. Overall 4.5/5

Okinawa tea: Got less sweet. Wish I didn’t. Not terrible though. Fried Oreos: not good. Save yourself $6. Lots of boba and food to choose from. May try again next time.

Been here few times but I found out there is a male cashier always going outside to smoke and play his own phone, the point is he didn’t WASH HANDS at all when he returning to the store and work. Man this is not good! You should care about customer’s health and safety! Also the milk tea tastes weird!

I occasionally order from this place for my lunch break. Yesterday I put in an order on doordash at around 2:10pm to be picked up at 3:15. At 2:25 I recieved a message that my food was already ready to pick up. At 2:42 I recieved another message that my food had already been picked up. When I arrived at 3:15 my food was thankfully still there but the food was cold, the lettuce in the salad was wilted, and the ice in the tea had melted and was warm. When I asked why my food had been sitting out for so long I discovered that the system this place uses doesn't show the employees scheduled pick up times despite it being an option in the door dash app. And because they marked it as already picked up before I arrived I was unable to get a full refund. Because I was on a limited lunch break I was forced to take said food and attempt to get some form of refund from doordash directly. Not only did the employees try to brush it off as not being their fault they also did not offer any form of compensation. This isn't the first time this blunder has happened either. While the food and tea are both normally decent, I wouldn't recommend this place if you plan on ordering ahead. Order when you arrive and wait the 20 minutes it usually takes when you do so. Very disappointed.
