Great tea taste. Jasmin oat milk latte was excellent. Barley macadamia latte was smooth and subtle. Interesting sweets and small bites go well with the drinks they offer. Love their many non-dairy options. Sitting area is spacious with tasteful interior decorations. Perfect place for a Sunday afternoon restful stop.

Love visiting Tea on Piedmont! Not only are their drinks delicious, they partner with other local small businesses for popups so that we can learn about them and can easily purchase them at the store! I’ve already gotten Formosa Chocolates, Bake Sum pastries, pineapple tarts and most recently the Anton crepe cakes from them 🙌🏼 The staff and owner are extremely kind and friendly — I’ve never been disappointed and neither will you. They are also pet friendly so you can bring your fur babies the next time you want to get boba with friends here :)

Great qualities of matcha and perfect delicate sweetness! Also grabbed some sushi across the street, good combo for lunch. The dessert also looks amazing I’ll have to try that next time!

Been here a few times now and I really enjoy their drinks! I like that they’re not overly sweet and the quality of the tea is good. Tends to be very busy and noisy, limited seating as there can be many customers. I like that you can bring your own cup for a small discount.

If you order tea (and you stay in the store), you can get one refill. Highly recommend their Jasmine! The staff are all so incredibly nice and helpful. They also have some merchandise/chocolate that make great gifts. Love the big windows and natural lighting in the front nook area. Perfect vibe all around for a zen afternoon. They allow you to bring in sushi from the store across the street!

Now I'm definitely no matcha connoisseur, but I do get the occasional matcha latte, and of all the matcha lattes I've had, this place had the best one! The quality of the matcha was so good, and the strawberry puree added just the right amount of sweetness to the drink. It was very refreshing!

I'm not normally a tea drinker but I had the Hojicha latte and I have become addicted. It's amazing! They also have nice pastries with a French influence as well as a number of fancy teas for sale. My daughter said the strawberry milk with boba is delicious. Central location on Piedmont avenue with Wi-Fi and power if you need to do a little work on your laptop. Highly recommend.

I have tried milk teas from many different places and I think they have the very best. My only suggestion for improvement is that they add an extra large size. Hojicha latte is my favorite.

If you want a relaxing environment for a hot cup of tea or latte!! Tea on Piedmont is your place!! Love it! This is such a cute and beautiful tea, House, Hojicha latte is always my go-to! It's just perfect the way they make it. I know I should try other tea or lattes, but I'm happy with this. I don't how much the crepes are, I don't dare to ask bc it has "Anton" on it, it's going to be expensive but delicious ... the chocolate looks way too pretty to consume. As much as I love this tea house, the parking can be hard to find at the times. So give yourself extra 10 mins to look for parking. I was lucky to find parking today at the end of the block. Yay!! I bet you won’t find any tea brand comparable to Tea On Piedmont on the West Coast! The Hojicha latte was a 1000 out of 10—absolutely amazing! And the iced matcha latte= A dream come true!! The atmosphere is really calm and has a nice ambient noise level. The service is phenomenal, and the staff are knowledgeable about the drinks and happy to recommend new ones to try. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Best quality tea I've had at a boba place and I've tried all the hypey places here in Oakland and Berkeley. Delicious. Recommend black tea boba here. Also love that they have non caffeine options. Prices are very fair for quality.

This place has some of the highest quality boba in the Bay! While their menu might not be as extensive as other places, they clearly focus on quality over quantity with a bigger emphasis on the art of tea rather than relying on artificially flavored powders like most places. The store also has a very nice atmosphere with plenty of seating which makes it a great hangout or work/study spot!

Nice airy tea cafe with handcrafted specialty tea drinks and light bites. Were in the neighborhood to pick up some tarts and decided to drop by for some boba tea. The menu is not as extensive as other chains but the quality is better. Liked the quaint merchandise on display. Seating is comfortable.

I went here to meet a friend who was visiting from NY. It was perfect for that purpose and I would go here again. It was informal and comfortable. I'd give it a fifth star if they expanded their offering of baked goods or other things to nibble on while drinking tea.

Not sure if I came at a bad time but their matcha was not the best. I have lots of matcha in my hometown and I worked at boba tea shops before so I had my fair share of matcha. We got three different matcha drinks and their texture and flavor profiles all were different. Either watery, grainy, or too milky. The boba was okay as well. It had that harder center texture. Be sure to ask about the size too because we didn't know they would come in a different size. The staff is really sweet and was helpful. I just wish the drinks were better, especially for the higher price point!
