A very cool family-run spot on a rooftop that had some of the best vegan food we tasted while visiting Oaxaca. Everything was pretty amazing, but I especially devoured a ridiculous amount of their tacos. Super friendly and very affordable. Repeated visits were essential. Highly recommend!

I was excited to find this all-vegan restaurant near where I was staying in the La Norida bario and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious and I loved the cozy tiki garden atmosphere of the roof-deck space. Finding it can be a bit tricky as there is no sign on the street, but rather inside the entryway that is just 20 feet from the corner store. The people were kind and friendly, and I appreciated the animal-rights, anti-cruelty literature available at the counter. I had the vegan Tlayuda which was simple but tasty, consisting of flavorful refried black beans and thin sliced cabbage on a toasted flour tortilla. The fruit smoothie I had was delicious and the cacao treat I had for desert was amazing, showing off the renowned fresh local Oaxacan chocolate. I highly recommend this as a must-visit local treasure on any visit to Oaxaca!

Amazing food, sometimes a bit of a wait for food and drinks to arrive but there was only one person cooking so that makes sense. Delicious, well priced, lovely atmosphere with lots of plants. I had the menu of the day (soup, mains and a drink) for 95 pesos. My friends had the aztec soup, green spaghetti, and the pastor tostada - all amazing.

When visiting Oaxaca, one of our objectives was to find the best vegan mole, and wow did Los Muchitos deliver!! The flavor of the black mole is something I’ll never forget. We tried several of their dishes, and everything was spectacular! My husband is constantly craving their batidos de frutas. The staff is so friendly, and we really enjoyed the ambiance. We absolutely recommend!

This was my favorite place to eat in Oaxaca. The 'tlayadus especiales' where amazing (glutenfree and vegan 😍). I came here every day to eat during my stay. Its a bit oit of the centre = less turismo 🥳. People where realy sweet! Highly recommend. Bendiciones !

Tried this place with my carnivore sister and she thought it was one of the best meals we had in Oaxaca. I got the chorizo tlyuda and it was amazing! I love that the salsa was spicy (which I haven’t had much luck finding the heat here). She got the mole which was very flavorful. I also got the Agua de fruta with mineral water and it was so refreshing! It’s hard to find fruit water that doesn’t have a pound of sugar in it! Highly suggest!

I cannot tell you how much I love this place! Everything I have tried from the menu has been extremely tasty and such good value for money. Good portion sizes too, but I normally get 2 mains as I like to try as much of their menu as possible. I have not had 1 bad meal here. Also, the Oreo Frappuccino is a must try, it’s delicious. Nice area to sit, with lots of plants. The staff are very attentive and serve you quickly, they are also very kind. I will be sad to leave Oaxaca because this place is so great. For 110-120 pesos you can eat 2 mains and a drink, what more do you want? :)

One of my favorite spots in the city! I always come here when I’m in Oaxaca to enjoy traditional food that otherwise I couldn’t because I’m vegan. I also love their alternative music playing. 100% recommend!

Easily my favorite restaurant in Oaxaca. I have been here many times and the food is incredible delicious and authentic. Everything homemade. I highly recommend the tortas and huevos. The people here are so friendly.

Super tasty innovative and healthy vegan food! Light on your body and the wallet. Suitable for vegans and non vegans alike. We came multiple times for breakfast and dinner: highly recommend the hot cakes, chickpea omelette and bbq cauliflower!
