Nuestro desayuno favorito en México, y uno de los mejores de nuestra vida!!!!!! 💘 La comida es absolutamente maravillosa y su café, de primer nivel. Comparte espacio con una concept store donde venden productos de artistas y diseñadores mexicanos, y el ambiente es súperagradable 🥰 Insuperable el Grill Cheese Sando (con queso manchego orgánico y queso menonita, que se come mojándolo en una sopa de tomate riñón exquisita: el conjunto es ESPECTACULAR) y también delicioso el Por Fin Muffin (english muffin con huevo, mayonesa y berenjena, acompañado de unas riquísimas chips de taro). Un consejo: siéntate en la barra y disfrutarás de las detalladas explicaciones de Fernando sobre los platos y su producto de máxima calidad y origen mexicano. También hablamos con uno de los propietarios, Raúl, atento y encantador. Si viviéramos en Oaxaca, iríamos cada día! ⚡️

Great courtyard ambience. Creative takes on breakfast dishes. As a coffee roaster I appreciated the examples of one bean with dry (natural) processed, and the same bean that has been wet or washed processed.

Kiyo café was amazing. I was looking for a local specialty coffee place and I already recognised them from their shop in cdmx. This store is beautiful, could have more seating but the indoor garden area was perfect. We went twice, once during closing (they still had some pastries left) and I liked the current beans a lot so went the next day to buy beans. The girl told me they don’t have them ready but could make a bag for me in 15 mins. Super friendly people! It can be busy sometimes, but highly recommend.

Honestly I went here the first day in Oaxaca and it ruined all other cafes because it was just the best: coffee = amazing, vibe = great, if you can be in the courtyard first thing in the morning on a sunny day the light is beautiful. The croissants were insanely good too.

The best coffee I’ve had in Mexico so far!! As an aussie ex-barista, I care a lot about good coffee, and this one was delicious. Coating on the palate, solid roundness a with chocolate-y tasting notes, I totally recommend. For my plant-based peeps they have oat milk! I also ordered their blueberry croissant and it was delightful. Really nice setup and atmosphere also. Thank you Kiyo for a great experience - from an aussie backpacker, desperate for a decent coffee🇦🇺

This place is awesome. Seriously. We went to many cafes in Oaxaca and this was a true standout. The staff were kind and passionate, and the food was unbelievable. Don't get me started about how good their coffee was. Step away from the main streets in Oaxaca and come here.

SO CUTE! This café is definitely on the trendy (and yes, slightly gentrified) side, but it’s such a lovely spot to relax. There’s a small boutique at the entrance with beautifully curated items — the prices are definitely high, but it’s still fun to browse while waiting for your coffee. I ordered a flat white and it was perfect! Smooth, strong, and beautifully balanced. I really appreciated that they offered soy milk, which can be hard to find in Oaxaca — more cafés need to take note! The backyard area is an absolute gem — peaceful, lush, and full of natural light. It feels like a little oasis tucked away from the busy streets. I also tried the cookie, which was the perfect texture: soft in the center with a slight crisp on the edges. If you’re looking for a calm, stylish café in Oaxaca with great coffee and good vibes, this place is a must-visit! Tip: grab a copy of the map they have in the store - it highlights some great local businesses.

Very much a vibe! Outstanding pastries, friendly service and awesome cold brew. The chilaquiles were 10/10. There is plenty of seating if you need to get some work done or just catch up with a friend. I picked up a bag of coffee beans to take home with me, which tasted great. The courtyard is really pretty, but the water fountain attracts a lot of mosquitoes.

My absolute favorite coffee shop in the city! Not only did it have the best latte imo in the town the staff is so friendly especially Tania, the food is delicious, the pastries are great, the vibes are superb, I worked for a few hours there some days, they are outlets. High recommend!!!

They have a really nice storefront with beautiful pieces for sale! The coffee was great here, we got a few espressos, cortados and tried their tiramisu which we recommend trying! The space itself is very aesthetically pleasing - storefront, cafe area, and outdoor patio!

Wow! This place is amazing! Honestly the best coffee in Mexico and the food is amazing! The price is well worth it, with their food offerings beautifully presented and with perfectly balanced complexity. I recommend the Green Green Croissant 🤤 The staff are super friendly and there is a funky vibe with nice tunes and cool decor. Definitely give this place a try if you're in Oaxaca!

Un espacio muy bonito y acogedor! Entiendo que el servicio queda en barra pero valdría la pena que un personal se dé una vuelta de vez en cuando para retirar el servicio o algo similar. Los desayunos son muy limitados por lo que solo lo recomiendo para tomar un buen café y pasar el rato.

Agradable espacio para ir a tomar un buen café. Tienen desayunos y algunas opciones veganas. El lugar cuenta con venta de ropa , cerámica , libretas y artículos de decoración además de café en grano. El espacio es pequeño pero con opciones para mesas o sentarse en la barra. El personal de la barra atento y con conocimiento sobre café. Únicos detalles : Estuvimos esperando que se acercara la mesera pero no nos comentaron que se pedía en barra, además tenían música muy alta. Fuera de eso lo recomiendo.

El lugar es muy bonito y tienen los detalle bien cuidados, el café es bueno. El precio de los postres es un poco alto para lo que es, pero en general un buen lugar para disfrutar un café, el servicio también es bueno. El espresso tonic excelente

Very cute, trendy café with a relaxing atmosphere — a great place to take a break while exploring the city. The coffee is decent, not exceptional, but the cozy interior and the convenience (including free restrooms) make it a solid stop during your walk around Oaxaca.

This place is very beautiful and a little off the beaten path. It’s great to take a break or study (which I saw some patrons doing). Great trinkets to take home or even clothing. I ordered a golden milk latte and didn’t love it. Turmeric is tough to break down so it doesn’t clump and stick to the throat but I wanted to try it because this was the drink that wasn’t offered in other cafes I had visited during my time there. Glad I visited and ordered something but I wouldn’t return if in the area.

We stopped by to try out this coffee place based on reviews from social media. Aesthetically, the place is pleasing, clean, cute, & offers plenty of seating. The pastry item we ordered was also very tasty & big. Our coffee was good. My husband ordered an espresso & I had a lavender latte. I’d say the espresso was better by far. My latte satisfied my crave for an iced coffee, as we were walking around the city & in need of an afternoon pick me up. I wish I would have tried something different. Maybe next time!

Disfruté mucho la experiencia de visitar este cafe, sin embargo el servicio me pareció terrible, tardaron mucho en traerme mis bebidas, y cuando llegaron estaban ya malas, el hielo se había desecho, pero mi pastel de zanahoria estaba espectacular. El lugar es precioso. Hay una diferencia de atención muy clara entre ser extranjero y turista nacional. Tache.

Hace unos días visitamos este café, no es una cafetería como cualquier otra en dónde llegas y te ofrecen el menú, y te preguntan que deseas consumir. En este caso tienes que pedirlo en la barra y de entrada te piden agregar el pago del servicio, lo cual considero que no es lo correcto. La chica que nos atendió parecía estar de malas y lo que pedimos tardó en llegar, mi matcha estaba frío, cuando yo lo había pedido caliente, nos dejaron en el olvido, nadie se acercaba. El pan que pedí y el matcha estaban ricos, pero el servicio fue nulo.

The place is cute, but the service was slow. My partner’s cheese sandwich and tomato soup arrived first—he finished eating, and they cleared his plate before my croissant even arrived. I had to ask twice about my order, and it still took extra time. The croissant was okay, and while the cheese sandwich was good, it was small. To top it off, my partner found hair and eggshells in his soup.

El lugar hermoso. Es una tristeza ver como hasta los ingredientes locales que uno busca en la zona han sido sustituidos. Mal servicio, horas esperando un café. Falta organización interna. El huevo que pedí me lo entregaron prácticamente quemado, es una pena estos lugares en el centro. El lugar sin duda hermoso. Lo rescatable de este lugar.

Very possibly the worst dining experience I’ve had in years. We ordered French toast and a grilled cheese with tomato soup. We waited over 30 mins before asking where our food was, they said it was coming. Bearing in mind, the restaurant was less than half full, and there were at least 5 cooks in the kitchen. A further 20 mins passed before they brought out only one of the dishes, the grilled cheese and the smallest half filled bowl of soup I’ve ever seen. The soup was stone cold so we sent the dish back, the waitress that took it immediately responded saying that she wasn’t the one who made it and didn’t apologise either. It came back out 10 mins later, the soup was piping hot but the same grilled cheese was then stone cold. My wife had torn it in half the first time so we knew it was the same sandwich. I immediately took the plate to the till to get my money refunded and leave. Zero apology again, but I got a full refund. Also, for the first 20-30 mins of sitting, a customer was waiting for a takeout with his dog. The dog was lovely but it was extremely distressed, yelping and crying so loudly it was so cruel and distracting. The staff said nothing. I couldn’t take it any longer so I had a word with the dog owner and told him to sort it out. So rude. The staff were stood close by and said nothing during the interaction, they just snuck away to avoid the situation. Terrible all round experience. What a waste of our time.
