The tlacoyos de chalitos are some of the best I've ever had. The rest of the food is prepared with dedication. The service is fast and very friendly. It's a quiet place to stop by before heading somewhere else, though afterward, you'll want to stop by for just one meal before heading back to the city.
I've been a customer there for 20 years. It's the best place to eat quesadillas, tlacoyos, and sopes in all of Tlayacapan. Señora Yola has been recognized in the state and participated in national competitions and exhibitions. The masa is excellent, some of the best in Mexico, without exaggeration, so anything with masa is guaranteed. Doña Elvirita is very cheerful, but sometimes she gets her calculations wrong. I suggest submitting the bill in writing.

We've been visiting this charming restaurant for many years, with its amazing cecina tacos, tastiest quesadillas, and extraordinary tlacoyos. A must-visit when traveling to Oaxtepec, Cocoyoc, Cuautla, etc. And also a great place to eat just a few minutes from Mexico City.
It's a good place to eat, from the traditional cecina (cured meat) to a mixote (mixed meat), either chicken or rabbit, but I loved the lamb, with those freshly made tortillas and traditionally prepared sauces that are a perfect complement. The prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. I definitely recommend it.

For tlacoyos, cecina, longaniza, and quesadillas, Tlayacapan is the choice if you live nearby. Here at the Yola restaurant, you'll always receive the best personalized service. A very good choice.
Here you can have a delicious breakfast. I recommend a longaniza taco or some quesadillas. The only problem is the number of flies in the place. It can be very annoying when eating, but the food tastes delicious.
Good service and attention. The downside of many places like this that sell sopes, tacos, quesadillas, etc. is that their hot sauces aren't spicy, as absurd as that may be. I had a $110 lamb mixiote with a generous portion, but the downside was that it lacked a lot of salt. They gave me freshly made tortillas and a complimentary sope. But the lack of seasoning was disappointing. I pass by this place at least once a week, but I doubt I'll eat there again.
