This place can't be beat! Many of the fish come directly from the owner’s own fishing trips, including flounder, clams, scallops, crab; you name it. Everything is always fresh and locally sourced, which is a huge plus. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. With a family rooted in the commercial fishing business for generations, you can tell they know their craft and truly care about their customers. They always go above and beyond, giving more than you pay for. 100% recommend!

Ordered from here, our favorite place, 2(2lb) lobsters, 2 doz little neck clams and 1lb of octopus. Came in to pick it up , all was ready, packed beautifully and was prepared so well! The Seafood was so fresh! Never disappointed!

Ordered from Capt. Mikes Seafood last week and was extremely happy with everything I ordered. My family loved the lobster salad and seafood salad. Our fish dinner was (Chilean Sea Bass) delicious. And don’t forgot to try the prepared shrimp, they were perfect.

All I can say is WOW went there today and the place looks awesome very clean owner who was very nice and helpful had just painted the whole place and changed around some of the really cool decoration and added some personal pictures of him and his family from many years of commercial fishing looking forward to some of the local fish they will start to sell straight from there own boats soon when the season starts back up in April captain mikes is a gem and a go to fish market !!!!!! Thank you guys keep up the good work!!!

Great local seafood spot, alot of local catch seafood super FRESH....prepared items are delicious. We loved the crab cakes, tartar sauce was the best I've had and the baked clams were delicious and full of Long Island Clams. The prices are great for the quality and quantity!!!! Nice family run place!

This seafood market is a Long Island Treasure. Here's why. First of all, every time i've visited the shop what's been offered is a sumptuous array of over a dozen varieties of fresh fish filets, 4 or 5 kinds of whole fish & fresh shell fish galore-- wild shrimp in different sizes, clams, mussels, oysters, squid, octopus , scallops & lobster. They've also got large freshly made salads & a large assortment of take-home seafood meals with & without pasta, all very reasonably priced. But the real crown jewel of this shop is their wild Salmon. It's wildly delicious--simply the best salmon i've tasted anywhere, anytime---just broiled on one side with a little butter.

Very rude and the fried calamairi was terrible. I ordered jumbo shrimp cocktail and not only was the platter ugly for Christmas Eve but the shrimp were tiny. I asked the woman to fix it ( i pre-paid) and she told me they were closing soon and it wouldn't be done. Nothing but rude from the first phone call. I sure miss Artie's in Island park. They knew how to treat a customer. Never again will i go here.

Great packages for pick up. I used them several times during the past summer. They also deliver to all the Atlantic Beach beach clubs. Nice value on their lobsters.

Sent my husband to pick up Chillean Seabass for 4 people. He asked for 4 filets. Came home with almost 3lbs of fish. The filets were cut very large and a small 5th piece was just thrown in that is not really usable, probably to just add weight. I feel like he got hustled. Won't be coming back.

On Thursday, November 9th, I went into Captain Mike's Seafood. A woman was behind the counter and I asked how much was the snapper she had, (the price was not marked on the fish) to which she quoted the price for more the $14 per pound. I should have left then because snapper sells for $7.99 per pound in my neighborhood. However, I told her I would take them, which weighed more than 5 pounds to the tune of approximately $84.00, I picked up I few other things and paid $115 plus in cash. To my surprise when I went to prepare the fish for a meal they were never scaled or cleaned properly. After paying twice as much for the fishes, I had to clean and scale them. In all my years of buying fish I have never been sold fish with scales fully on them. I would never go back to the place and I would most definitely not recommended them.

Do not support this business. Modern day slavery going on in there. I expieranced the lady who I assume is the owner talk to two Spanish workers there with such hatred and hostility that people started leaving. Including me. I drove all around town for crabs..they had them and I left without them. My heart is heavy for those two employees who endured that hatred. One was an older man who couldn't move fast enough I guess. "Told him don't f*ing breathe until you find the clams" and today is Father's day.

I went here today to grab some crab and was disgusted by the way the owner was talking to her workers...she called them idiots and stated “don’t even breathe without having that food ready” it appeared that she had Spanish speaking workers one was an older gentleman and a middle aged woman. Never in my life would I want a family member of mine be treated with such disrespect. Myself and 4 other people walked out and decided not to support this business. I’m sorry I couldn’t have given the workers there an opportunity. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!
