Zaidee's is located at the Soule Park golf course and having eaten at many golf course restaurants I wasn't expecting much. It turned out to be a great place to enjoy a casual lunch. The food was excellent and the view from the terrace was beautiful.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. The views are amazing. Wow. The sunset colors. The grounds. The drinks were great. The food was delicious. The ceviche was a huge hit with our group being ordered three times. The classic burger hit the spot! Great beautiful place to enjoy!

This is one of my favorite places to eat. The view from the outside patio is lovely. Or you can sit inside on a cool day next to the fireplace and have a glorious ambiance. My go to is the steak frites with a side salad and fries. Yes, both. Steak, medium rare. It comes with an aioli and fried onions. I usually don't eat the crispy fried onions but I do enjoy the aioli. I will say, the steak is good enough without the aioli though. I had their acai bowl a few weeks ago and it was very good! Delicious in fact. It comes with peanut butter on top. Lots of granola...in every bite. I'd suggest getting that on the side.

We stopped by after a long overnight backpacking trip and the food was exactly what we needed! The place was interesting because we had to drive up this private street into a plaza almost like an estate entrance. We got seated by the fireplace which was super cozy. The food was good but we had to send back the spicy margarita… it was pretty bad. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re in Ojai. It’s not in downtown which is a plus but not that far off either. We had the nachos with chicken and the CA burger.

Great hidden gem in Ojai, don't let the terrible parking lot fool you. The atmosphere is great. The service is also fantastic, but a little slow for my liking. It didn't help that it was a breakfast rush. But I don't believe this is their first breakfast rush. When my food finally arrived, I was astonished and happily surprised when the look of the food, which was amazing, was surpassed by the flavor. TLDR: The exterior hides a great restaurant where the food is worth the wait.

Delicious food! Our party ordered a Jalapeño Tuna Melt, Chicken Cesaer, Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup, Steak Frites, and Turkey Club and all were sizable and delightful. Staff was friendly and atmosphere was modern and cozy. We’ll come back every time we golf!

Located in a Beautiful setting! Lots of parking. Very nice atmosphere and ambiance. Enjoyed our food seated right next to the 4 sided fire place. Wonderful service!

Stopped by here after Ojai Holiday Home Tour & recommendation by sweet young women at Ojai Will Call office. They recommended the grilled cheese & tomato soup combo - we shared it - so yum! Space is lovely & fireplace so appreciated on this rainy day. Our bartender/server - lovely young woman so nice & professional - wish we got her name. & young tall man working with her equally kind. Such a non-pretentious gem in Ojai!

Dog friendly patio with unbeatable views at sunset. Affordable drinks. The staff was super accommodating and the food (largely pub grub) was excellent and well cooked. Note, it’s located on a golf course, but this did not affect the experience at all. Highly recommend.

Food is not the reason why you visit Zaidee's. You visit it because you get to sit on the patio of a beautiful golf course - Soule Park - under brilliant weather and sun, enjoying the crisp breeze. Just sitting at the patio, you feel relaxed and happy. Zaidee's is a much better-than-expected dining fare considering it is a public golf course. Yes, you can't expect luxury but everything else screams to be hundreds of dollars more around you. The Soule Park course is impeccable. The scenery is priceless. And yes, after a round of golf, nothing can beat a beer and some fries on the patio. Food is okay. Again, this is not a classical restaurant per se. It serves decent food and drinks. But you do not go here for the food. One exception can be breakfast. No where in downtown Ojai can you get a decent breakfast at 7am but Zaidee's seems to be serving up everything from pancakes to French toast. Overall experience was fabulous. Took down 1-star because the food can certainly use a bit more upgrade. But keeping the prices low and making the atmosphere accessible to many perhaps is a higher priority. Will absolutely return whenever in Ojai.

Very unusual unfriendly vibe coming more from patrons than staff. As visitors to the area we did not feel welcome. Beautiful view of golf course. Nice seating outside. Interior is large with little ambiance. We left before the waitress returned for our order. Prices were fair.
