Been there a couple of times and food is delicious. I can't remember the waiters name, it was like Esai... he was very nice and recommended some drinks. Paella was delicious, very big portion enough to feed 2 people.
It is so beautiful inside of this restaurant and it made for a really nice evening. We ordered the queso and guacamole. It was so good and had a unique Taste. We had the meat sampler for two… And it was so much food. Everything on that plate was delicious. It was practically a full size portion of each meat. The ribeye was perfection. The fried plantains were The best I’ve ever had.
Four of us for dinner. Our waiter Edmond stated that the family style offerings are very robust in size. We said we wanted to go for it and ordered the family style parilla a la Brasa. It comes with 3 side dishes and we chose the plantains, chimi Asparagus and jalapeño mac and cheese. They came first and the serving size is enormous, so we knew the maim platter was going to be something. When it came we were amazed at the amount of food, a whole chicken, tons of sausage, and steak on a generous bed of veggies cooked to perfection. Avocado also. The steak was very tender and delicious. We ended uo taking a good portion home. We also tried the Shishedo pepper appetizer and it is outstanding and again a very generous portion. The house treated us to dessert with stuffed churro that was very good. Our server was attentive and great. We sat on couches so we felt a little like royalty. Thumbs up
The atmosphere Is par none! Absolutely beautiful. Definitely not what you expect when you see the outside. Our waiter was beyond wonderful. Extremely attentive without being overbearing. He was phenomenal with explaining the menu and recommendations. The price point is great as well. Definitely somewhere you can go back and experience something different on the menu without feeling like you’ve been there!
We dined here for Valentine’s Day and it was absolutely incredible! Christy, the staff and the food was amazing!! There were beautiful Valentines decorations all over for the season and they added the perfect touch. The food was absolutely delicious, every flavor merging perfectly on the plate for an amazing experience not only with the food but with the atmosphere. 10000/10 we WILL be coming back!!! The staff was so warm, patient and kind. You won’t find anywhere else like this in the city!
If you haven't tried this place, I encourage you to give a try! Definitely a night time place....date night, girl's night time out kind of a vibe. The food and beverages were delicious, also. I ordered the Seafood Paella, plus a side of fried plantains. It was a generous serving and so flavorful. My Mango Margarita was also on point, and the service was great. I definitely want to return and try some more of their menu options.
Will gave us the best service we have ever had. The ambiance is second to none, and the food is flavorful and delicious. Cocktails were also on point. The entrees are huge.
Awesome place. The moment you walk in your transported out of Oklahoma and into a completely different vibe and atmosphere. One of the coolest places I have been to in OKC. The food was amazing and you can't go wrong. I did the chicken and steak, pollo y Carne, which was amazing. The filet was cooked perfectly and has a demi glaze that works perfect with it. The fried plantains are so good I order another large side of them for the table! Service was great and I will make this a regular stop when in town.
First time to try La Brasa, and it lived up to its reviews for us. Service was superb and the atmosphere was fun. We ordered the De La Rosa and we're well pleased. The dish came with a rib eye, sea bass, chicken and we added the shrimp extra. We also ordered two sides that came with the meal. Potatoes and asparagus, both of which were delicious and flavorful. The rib eye proved out favorite with the chicken and then sea bass next. The shrimp was ok, but the others were really good. It is to serve as a dish for two, but the portions were tremendous. Add a couple of cocktails and tip and everything came to about 140. For a fun night out or special occasion I highly recommend La Brasa. We were told of a wine Wednesday, which seemed to be an affordable night out. The menu was varied, with plenty of choices, I plan on coming back and tring some other items, you should try for yourself and see what you think.
Just had a four-person reservation for dinner. We do this once a month at a different restaurant. The food was amazing, drinks were great and well mixed, so many picture opportunities and places, and our waiter Isai was very nice and attentive to us.
If I could give 10 stars I would the atmosphere is on point! The service is superb, and the food, well i just don't have enough superlatives to describe it. Go here. It won't disappoint! (Unless your vegetarian or vegan, there aren't many options if you are. ) Sequoia was out server, and she was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Great overall experience! I loved the matcha martini and the candied Brussel sprouts!
Been here a handful of times and they have been consistently good, but the service, ambiance and overall atmosphere improves every time! I got the sea bass which was perfectly cooked with a shot, bong and glass of wine.
I took my wife for her birthday, and we loved the environment. The food was delicious, very unique food. The steak was one of the best ones I’ve had in my life! The drinks might need a bigger menu, but they are good!
This is my third time coming in and this was the best service I’ve had by far! We came in for a friends birthday and she waited on us attentively, and went out of her way to make my friends cake extra cute when it was served. I’ll definitely be requesting her in the future!
What a unique dining experience. The food was off the chart, amazing. The service was great and the server never missed a beat. She was on it all evening long. We were there to celebrate my birthday and my family wanted to share a unique dining experience. They did a fantastic job. I wish we could have taken more photos but everything was awash under black light. This was a very enjoyable birthday experience.
La Brasa – A Hidden Jewel with Big Energy & Bold Flavors 🔥🍸 Step inside La Brasa, and you’re instantly transported—moody lighting, lush hanging greenery, bold murals, and a vibe that’s straight-up electric. This place is a feast for the senses, whether you’re here for dinner, drinks, or just to soak in the aesthetic for some top-tier photo ops. Instagram-worthy? Absolutely. 🍽 Let’s talk food. The Fried Rice Bebop (or something like that 🤣) was next-level—loaded with steak, shrimp and a perfect balance of flavors. It came in a sizzling cast iron skillet, keeping everything hot and packed with texture. And the portions? Enough for leftovers, which is always a win. 🍹 Cocktail game = STRONG. The bar setup is sleek, and the menu has some creative twists on classics. If you’re into margaritas, don’t sleep on the Strawberry Jalapeño Margarita—a perfect mix of sweet, spicy, and refreshing. They’ve also got an Espresso Martini that’ll keep the night going, and plenty of premium wine and spirits to match the vibe. ✨ Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a spot that blends ambiance, flavor, and nightlife energy, La Brasa delivers on every level. Whether it’s a date night, group dinner, or just a place to sip and vibe, this spot never disappoints. 📸 Pro Tip: Come early for golden hour shots—the neon lighting, plush seating, and artistic decor make for epic photos. #LateNightVibes #HiddenGemsOK #NomNomNomOKC #TastyTreasures #BrunchVibes #CraftCocktails #OKCExplorer #EpicEats #FoodieFinds #SnapAndReview #NextLevelGuide #RoadToLevel9
First off, the whole atmosphere is THE vibe! Beautifully low-key, but classy. The food, the FOOD! Everything we ordered was amazing: Brussel sprouts, queso, shishito peppers, chimichurri steak, and pollo y carne: all perfectly cooked and seasoned. I am addicted to crème brûlée and this may be the best I've ever had! And the drinks were spot on: tasty and potent. Last, but not least, our server was Gauge and he was absolutely amazing! He picked up our table just because he thought we'd been waiting long (it had been 5 minutes). He was personable, sweet, and knowledgeable of both the menu and what people tended to love. He was super helpful in making our selections. Early on, my husband knew he'd be leaving a big tip. I will come here every time I'm in the OKC area; I highly recommend it.
I took my gf for a date last week here. We both loved the atmosphere and vibe first entered there. Ee ordered a watermelon flavor cocktail which was a little too sweet for us. For food, we went with their big plate with two big sides (fried potatoes and broccoli), which includes all type of meat they serve. It was incredibly yummy and we enjoyed our meal so much. The fish was our most favorite as well as tender and juicy chicken. It was also my first time having S America style fried potatoes, which reminded me of Belgium potatoes that are the most delicious in the world. Our server was nice and very cool. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fancy date and delicious food.
My husband and I came here for a date night early Wednesday evening. We got seated right away and our server was ready to get our drink orders as soon as we got settled. We ordered the De La Brasa with fried plantains and jalapeno Mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely delicious and there wasn't a crumb left between the two of us. We love the atmosphere and the vibe at this place. It was quiet and slow paced, we didn't feel rushed at any point in our meal. We will definitely be coming back.
The food was super delicious. Drinks were basic but good. When we finally got service(we did have reservations a month in advance) it was good but our waiter told us there was only 2 waitstaff servant’s (Tuesday evening)with a full restaurant. The space was very tight (I got hips🤦🏾♀️😆)but very nice, dim, and romantic atmosphere. Overall I will definitely go back. The food well seasoned and so delicious 😋 so worth it.
I always have the best time here! My friend Sunny is such a gem — she’s super sweet, makes amazing drinks, and always makes everyone feel welcome. If you go, definitely grab a seat at the bar and say hi to her! 💛
The food and atmosphere are always a hit here! We love coming for special occasions to see our favorite bartender Sunny! She is always friendly and makes the best cocktails!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Really good food and a great atmosphere. The place just has good energy, relaxed but still upbeat. Everything we tried tasted fresh and full of flavor, and the staff was friendly without feeling over the top. It’s the kind of spot you can hang out, eat, and actually enjoy the whole vibe. Definitely one of my new favorites!
Braden was the best server. She made the entire experience. I brought friends from out of town hoping to show off the city. She impressed everyone so much we want to poach her to Miami! GIVE US MORE BRADEN
I had dinner here tonight & it was such a great experience. The food was delectable & our server Bianca was so friendly & efficient. 10/10 will be back!!
The De La Brasa is amazing, I’ve never had sea bass but I can say it was delicious!! Drinks were also very good and presented well. The service from Braden was great, we’ll definitely be back!
La Brasa is truly a standout dining experience in OKC. From the first bite, the food delivers a delicious, unique flavor profile that feels thoughtfully crafted and memorable. you can tell care goes into every dish and cocktail. The service was just as impressive; our waitress, Kayla, was attentive, friendly, and made the entire evening even better with her knowledge and warmth. Beyond the food and service, La Brasa is easily one of the most Instagram worthy spots in Oklahoma City. The moody lighting, stylish decor, and beautifully curated ambiance set the perfect vibe, and during the holidays the Christmas decorations are absolutely stunning and festive. Whether you’re planning a night out with a group of friends or looking for the perfect date night spot, La Brasa checks all the boxes: incredible food, drinks, excellent service, and an atmosphere that feels both cozy and elevated. Highly recommend.
What an amazing spot! I mean. This is a top 5 for me in OKC now. I can’t believe it took me two years to finally try this place! Austin was an incredible server, highly recommended asking for him. He made the place better. Food was phenomenal. I mean absolutely every dish was note worthy. Well, almost. The salad was average but the dressing were great! Not a complaint, a salad is a salad and some greens with all this food was a great touch! Nachos were my favorite, please get them. I ate the entire plate. My wife loved the Brussel sprouts most! The quality of all the food is high, the quantity is exceptional, and the price of it all is reasonable! You are getting your money worth. And that is what I appreciate. We both shared the pollo a la brasa, max and cheese, salad, nachos, and brussel sprouts. It was perfect! We had leftovers for a meal too! Why 4 stars? They sat us in a terrible spot next to the door when the entire restaurant was open. We asked to move, and the entire time we were here they kept sitting couples at this terrible spot and twice people moved too. La brasa, not sure what’s the strategy but I don’t think your customers appreciate it. The drinks were average. Couldn’t taste the alcohol, I love cocktails and I enjoy being able to taste the liquor but these two were high in sugar and ordinary. Excited to come again! Probably wont get any drinks. But we’ll explore more of the amazing menu!
I had the Machu Picchu Nachos . My cousin had Pollo a La Brasa and fries. The food taste great it wasn't that busy, however the waiter wasn't as attentive (he was nice) to our table we had to ask other waiters and even a host to get refills and sides of sauce.
We tried La Brasa for our first time and thought it was pretty good. The whole place needs a dusting and touch up though (the online pictures looked gorgeous!). The light fixtures etc were so dusty and almost every single one had bulbs out, or entire strands of lights out and the cheesy fake flowers on the bar and tables made it feel less elegant. The ceiling tiles are nasty- missing, falling, rusted (but it is a very old building). My filet was excellent but the chicken was very dry and my wife enjoyed the Lomo Saltado. Our waitress (Gwen) was so sweet and we found out it was her first night! We would go back but with different expectations for the atmosphere I think.
Very tasty. The Seafood Paella was the table favorite. Really well done. The Asian Wings were also a must try. The Limo Saltado was good, but overshadowed by the others. I didn't care much for the Truffle Mac and Cheese.
The food and drinks were very, very delicious! The server situation was kind of weird though- people that got there 10 minutes after us were attended to well before we were. When the first server finally got to the table she seemed pretty angry to be there. Pretty unwelcoming attitude. The second server was so freaking nice though! Based on the food I’d love to give it another go and hope for a better experience.
I've been here twice so far - first for a bridal dinner, another for my personal anniversary. Both times were good experiences, though the 2nd time was better in terms of service. Both times I couldn't help but get the chimichurri steak with elote, SO GOOD. My spouse loved the Brussels sprouts and the churros were good. Mango margarita is good, but nothing special. The 1st time when I came with a group of 5, when I arrived I gave the host the name I thought the party was under, she took me to a table that was not my party and then left me there with the strangers while I walked around the restaurant trying to find my party. Another girl in our party said this also happened to her when she arrived, so I found that experience strange. There was a gratuity tip already added onto my bill at the end of the meal too for our party of 5. The food is good, atmosphere is really chill and great vibes, but honestly service is kinda lacking for the price and mood set for the restaurant.
We didn’t expect a club vibe, but it was nice nonetheless. Feels like a date night or special dinner place. We liked the energy and the food was good, but my boyfriend is Peruvian and a strong critic of certain Peruvian dishes because of this. I had the vegetarian version of the lomo saltado and thought it was good. He was a tad disappointed because his food was not what he hoped it would be, but it wasn’t bad. Overall, solid meal. Fun place. The service was awesome. Austin was our server and he was the best.
I took my wife there for her birthday party of thirteen people and the service was awesome to have one person serving us and the atmosphere was amazing, but the chicken was very dry, the mashed potatoes were not good, be prepared to pay a hefty price for your meal and drinks. I paid $643.00 of course with a gratuity fee.
Everything was good, the food, the service, the vibe and atmosphere BUT the chairs are AWFUL we felt like we needed boosters. You sink into them like a 2 yr old. Its very bad.
The atmosphere was wonderful and the food looked great. My chicken was a bit dry, but was flavorful. My issues came with the bill. I was originally charged for alcoholic beverages I didn't order or receive. Once that was fixed I noticed I was being overcharged for my meal. The description of my food was accurate, but the price had been inflated. My friend who had the same order as me was charged the correct amount. When I pointed out the discrepancy our server got annoyed, took the bill and walked away. It took another 7 minutes to get the new, correct bill... with a 25% gratuity built into the price. I paid and left.
My friend celebrated her birthday there. We had a good time.
The atmosphere was really fun! I really enjoyed my Pisco Sour cocktail, and the fried plantains were delicious! We ordered the De La Brasa with mashed potatoes and grilled naan. The steak comes with an over easy egg on it, so beware if that's not your thing. I enjoyed it, the hubby, not so much. This is definitely a fun place I would plan for a girls' night out! We finished it off with an ordered of churros (stuffed with a sweet cream) and their creme brulee.
The apps were amazing! We had the ceviche trio and the candied brussel sprouts. The entrees were good but not as good as the apps. Will definitely be back for cocktails and apps when I'm on OKC again.
The food was so good. My favorite things was the drinks. staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. They knew everything about the menu and was able to answer all of the questions that we had even made suggestions. Prices are on the higher side however you get a lot of food for your buck. The appetizers were incredible and you would enjoy the food if that was the only thing you got. The lighting is pretty dark, we did have to shine our flashlights a couple of times to see the menu. I do think you pay a lot for the atmosphere which was beautiful, but if that’s not what you’re looking for then this might not be the place for you. I do know I will definitely come back to try other things and enjoy their drinks! Thank you for helping us celebrate our friends birthday.
What a unique place to dine. Never imagined just looking from the outside what the inside would be like. So much character with the furniture and decor. Food came out great drink tasted good not very strong. Taco app was very good, a great start to our dinner. Love the Asian Spanish fusion. Would come back for sure since they can host large parties. If I had to compare I would say it's like the willy wonka of restaurants in a very good way. Plus since it was Halloween everyone was dressed up.
Came here with a big group of 12 for a birthday and the vibes were great. The restaurant is super pretty, and they gave us our own area which was awesome. They were also cool with me bringing in a cake and even gave us plates for it, no extra charge. Food-wise, it was a mixed bag. The beef in the carne y pollo was perfect, but the chicken was super dry and bland. Mashed potatoes were great though. Asian wings were good but not spicy at all. Our table had a few pasta dishes and they were all under-salted, but asking for salt fixed it. Drinks were hands-down the best part of the night (White Lotus was amazing), though they took a long time to come out. Service was great, our server handled the big party well, and the 20% gratuity was already added (expected for our group size). Overall: great atmosphere, amazing cocktails, okay food for a higher price. I’d come back for drinks and vibes, but not necessarily for dinner
I decided to take my wife here for her birthday. Food was very bland but came out very fast though. Asked the waiter to light the candle on our table and she was so focused on other tables that she forgot to light it. Also forgot to place our appetizers order. When I paid for the meals, I used cash and she kept some of the change I was supposed to get back. Was very disappointed with the food and service was lack luster. Don't believe I would go back. The place is visibly beautiful. Would be a nice place to get drinks. Food, not so much.
Food preservation was great. Appetizers were 10/10, but the main course wasn’t good at all. We tried each other’s food and still wasn’t for us. Doesn’t deserve a bad rating because it may not be our type of food, but other than that, it was a great experience. They have couches for booths, and other soft and comfortable chairs. Dim lighting and lots of room to get around.
The restaurant is absolutely beautiful with great vibes and a very comfortable atmosphere to dine in. Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my meal. I ordered the Truffle Mac & Cheese, and it was not good at all. The flavor was very overpowering, and it tasted more like turkey than chicken. I could barely taste the cheese. That said, I would come back because the place itself is really nice, but I’d definitely try something different on the menu next time.
So I’ll start by saying that the food that we did receive was really great! However, some issues we had were: • late drinks • food not rang in • birthday girls dinner arrived after everyone had ate • multiple menu items were out of stock • half of the table received food before the other half • waitress denied a request for a “quick side” of mashed potatoes when she had forgotten to ring in the entree • understaffed and it is apparent Owners need to consider understaffing and close sections to ensure great customer service to the people who are paying $30+ a plate. Money grab. Also, it might be worth mentioning, there is no notice or mention of an Asian seasoning/flavor on the steak and when i received my truffle mac and cheese I was surprised that it was an Asian seasoned steak on top. Was not expecting that. Also the tuna ceviche tasted as though there was coffee grounds in it 😅 Overall 3/10 The truffle mac and cheese saved my experience. But the steak was NOT an addition I would do in the future.
I went here for my birthday thinking it was going to be a beautiful experience from the pictures online. I invited 10 friends to celebrate with me, I booked an area (which could have been nicer), I was late but I did call to let them know, which they said was fine. I check in with the hostess at the front, she says okay go find your seat, now I’m looking like, where? So I asked her can she show us to our area, and she did. We’re seating at the table waiting for the others to arrive. We’re seating had water cups but not straws. My friend saw the hostess walking by (seating other ppl) so she asked her for straws, she stated that was for our waitress to do while she’s handing her the straws. My friend was like oh they’re right there I could have gotten them. So were at the table having random conversations, my friend mentions she called me by my nickname so the hostess didn’t know where to seat her. I went over to the hostess to let her know my nickname and if anyone ask just show them to my table, she said okay. About the 30 minutes later the manager comes to us saying we had a confrontation with her hostess, I was confused. I asked about what and she kept saying that’s what I’m asking, she didn’t want to tell me what the hostess said happened, so this goes on for about 5 minutes. I tell her our whole interactions with the girl, and I proceeded to ask again, what did she say happened? The hostess said she got into with us because we called her an idiot (which never happened) why would she make up that lie is beyond me. I let the manager know how we were treated but that went uncared for and our waitress didn’t tend to our table often. If I didn’t have so many ppl coming I would have left from the first incident, why would I want to spend all that money with an establishment that didn’t care how we were treated as guest
The atmosphere was nice and all but what I did not enjoy was the food and drinks. The alcoholic beverages had basically no alcohol in it, it was like I just drank a mocktail. The food lacked flavor! I got the shrimp ceviche and the most flavorful thing was the cucumber. I also got the jalapeño Mac and cheese because I had a feeling the ceviche would be a small portion, and it also lacked flavor. I couldn’t even taste pepper or salt. Honestly for what I paid for I did not think it was worth it. Staff was very kind and patient.
We had a very disappointing experience. We made a reservation when we walked in and still waited about five minutes before anyone acknowledged us or asked us to be seated. Once seated, it took another 15 minutes before our waiter came by to ask for our drink order. After placing the order, he cleared another table and disappeared for an additional 15 minutes. During this entire time, we never received water or any updates. Eventually, we saw our waiter at the bar handling other drinks while we were still waiting, which is when we decided to get up and leave. The overall atmosphere felt unwelcoming, and most of the staff we encountered did not seem pleasant or interested in helping. It felt as though our presence was an inconvenience. Because of the lack of basic service and professionalism, we will not be returning to this establishment ever again.
