Jennifer and Chuck are the best people there. If I was corporate I would do whatever it takes to keep them there. Without them Dennys would absolutely fail

Riley Ingle is literally the best waitress ever!!!! She was so nice and respectful. My food came in a timely manner and she always checked up on us and made sure everything was good.

Our server Alisa was amazing. Very time efficient, caring, sweet, and everything came out perfect. We had a lovely dinner!

Denny's has always been a go to for me the food is always fire. Tonight I didn't want to leave my dog at the hotel behind them so I called ahead to see if someone could meet me outside since I had him with me. The women told me how to do it on the website vs door dash so it saved me money and she even threw in two sausages for my dog! Great staff great food. 😊

The staff at this Denny's has always been friendly and efficient. I have had great service from Amber, Anthony, Erica, and Debbie from the morning crew and Carlene from the evening crew. On the rare occasion that my order wasn't to my liking, it has been made right with no problem. I visited a Dennys at another location and realized how thankful I can be for my local Denny's!

I saw only a problem with the rest room the back of the toilet was leaking onto the floor & was poorly flushing & I told the manager on duty. A small problem ignored can become a costly repair. I did mention the food was overly salted.

I was having the absolute worst day ever, I was at the lowest point in my life, so I of course, decided to go to Denny's. While I was eating there I had the most amazing waitress. Riley. A sweet little southern bell, who absolutely lifted my spirits. She was so good as my waitress, this is the job for her. I don't know who trained her, but I do know she needs to train every waitress in America from here on out. Riley, I hope you work at Denny's forever, I love seeing you there.

Love this Denny's restaurant! The nacho appetizer is excellent and we're never disappointed by our breakfast. The only thing better than our meal was our waitress, Amber! She is friendly, helpful with choices and very quick with anything we requested...a 5 star waitress and all around very nice person! Congratulations, Dennys, on a great employee!

First time at Denny's ever, got there and wanted to sit on table not a booth. They only had tables on the empty side where there was no staff available. The lady, whom I did not get her name, sat me there and went back and forth and served me a great breakfast. That's what I call beyond customer service. She got a tip for the table and an extra cash tip from me as a token of my appreciation for a job well done. This was on 11-27-22. At around 9am so whoever you were, thank you!❤❤❤

I don't usually go here because I've only had bad experiences. My daughter was sick from school and after her negative covid test we went here for brunch. It was awesome. The eggs with cheese were moist and delicious. The red skinned potatoes were cooked perfectly and she was happy as a clam with her pancakes. Keep it up!

I haven't visited Denny's in years, but everything was better than expected. I was there around 3am. The food was fresh and delicious, as was the coffee. Our server was very nice and attentive as well.

The long and short of my many breakfast meals at this location is this: I have never had a bad experience with the food, service, or wait staff. My only complaint is that at times, there can be a substantial wait to get a table. But it's worth the wait for a tasty mea at an affordable price.

Normally, I get my eggs scramble because 9 times out of 10, no one can cook eggs the way you want them. The server promised me I would be happy with my eggs any way I ordered them. The service at the Denny’s in Oneonta was absolutely fantastic — Debbie was so friendly and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We're vegetarian and get tired of ordering a breakfast and having the meat removed and paying the same price. One waiter a few days ago charged us ala carte and the breakfast was ridiculously expensive. We went back today and had Amber as our waitress. After advising her we're vegetarian she showed us the best way to order what we wanted. The end result was much better. She was very gracious and made our overall experience much more enjoyable. We'll be back...and ask for Amber!

Stopped for a sort-of quick lunch during my travels. There was a gap of time between being seated and receiving service, which appeared to be a slow time of day. My daughter and I had a late lunch here. We split a burger and fries and a salad. Also an apple crisp type dessert. Our waiter was timely and efficient. Everything we ordered was good and seemed to be fresh. We were very happy with our visit.

It's a location that continues the classic Denny's way of restaurants. The foods are upgraded but prepared with the same level as the Denny's when you were a kid. Overall, it is a very enjoyable experience for the caliber of restaurants it is.

Compared to other Denny's I would give this one a satisfactory grade. Our server was polite but did spill some coffee and neglected to offer certain things. (We had to ask). It wasn't very busy on a Thursday morning. It was relatively clean. The food was average.

Normally food is very good. But not this time. Hashbrowns were soggy still. Sausage tasted frozen. Bacon burnt beyond belief. My wife's burger was very greasy. Not sure when we will be back. Very disappointing visit.

My husband and I went for a late lunch today. Denny's has never been a place that I had a bad experience in, until today. While the food was as good as it always is, I can't say the same for our server. She was very rude, had a horrible attitude and was very disrespectful. I asked where our toast was and with a very rude temperament, rolled her eyes and walked to the kitchen. I could then hear her mocking and talking about me from the other table we were sitting at. When she came back I simply said, "If you are going to talk arude about a customer, at least do it quietly so they can't hear you'. I did speak to the manager and while a credit to our bill was given, the experience left an impression enough to write about.

I decided to come here for dinner. With tax and tip, I paid about $30 for T-bone steak, a side of potatoes, and some broccoli. I mistakenly assumed that the portions would loosely resemble that of the menu, but I was wrong. The steak itself was maybe half an inch thick, and I was given an ice cream scoop of potatoes, and another ice cream scoop of overcooked broccoli. The staff was preoccupied with their phones so I had to go find someone to seat me. I’m not impressed. 😕

It was so busy we had a wait time of 45 minutes. We decided to go else where and while we were deciding three, other groups came in and left due to the wait. They were not prepared with staff for a Sunday. Update, went on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Still had quite a long wait there was four groups ahead of us one group decided to not wait so our wait time was cut to about 15 minutes. Took quite a while for our order to come out but the food was good and the waitress was very friendly.

Service was fine. Hash browns were undercooked and pancakes were burnt, but I was prepared to be like, eh, Denny's. I didn't go for the bestest, but to sit down and take my time. But I've been horrifically sick since about an hour after I left, and I'm pretty sure it's food poisoning. 🤢

Four stars. My wife got the Strawberry Vanilla Crepe Breakfast, and it was awesome. The bacon kind of tasted like bologna which is a little weird. I got a Country Fried Steak breakfast. The eggs were good, the hash browns were okay, but the country fried steak was not good. It tasted like a hot dog. I asked to have it taken off the bill and the manager was kind of standoffish and seemed like he didn't want to help. They ended up giving me $3 off the meal which was kind of lame. The high rating was for the quality of everything else, and our server, Gustavo, was the MAN. He's probably the guy that should be running the place because even he was apologetic about the fact that the country fried steak sucked while the manager just defended it. Bad customer service, man. Be better to people. If a patron doesn't like the food, fix the situation, don't argue with them.

Dirty, plates and cups were served dirty. Waitress was very rude, no tip for her. Got fried eggs, strawberry milkshake and seasonal fruit. The fried eggs were dry and tasteless, the fruits were good and the strawberry milkshake was decent but didn't taste like strawberry. Couple years ago this place was great now it's just not good. My parents and I walked in to eat, most booths on the right side of the restaurant were empty with piles of dirty dishes/food left on the tables, and the table next to us was very loud and were talking to someone on speaker phone. We could hear the same waitress in the kitchen complaining about us to the other staff members.. A man that was supposed to be our next server ignored us, swept and cleaned tables, waited on one other customer.. my parents and myself were starting to get annoyed after waiting long enough and talked about how nobody was coming over. He heard us and said he would be there in a couple minutes. He continued to sweep, clean tables, and wait on the one other customer. After waiting another 4 minutes for just drinks, we got up and left. I loved this Dennys but the service is the absolute worst. All of the employees we watched today moved in a slow pace, and had no personality.

After standing in line waiting for over 25 minutes for a hostess to seat me, I left along with at least 6 others who had been waiting. Tables were available and one of the waitress's who had to use the rest room stated we would be seated in a few moments that was 15 minutes before I left. Might want to think about your customer service there!!

The manager was rude! We didn't stay and will NEVER go back! They missed a $300.00 sale! We went over to Applebee's instead and our waitress was phenomenal. She ended up with over $150.00 for a tip!

Walked out of this place went in there with my wife and kids and soon as I walk in the waiter say oh hold on let me check where you can sit when there was several booths to sit in and why ask my wife what she wanted a booth or table but changed when I came in I would not recommend colored people to go to this place I'm Spanish and my wife is white so go else where to enjoy a meal with your family

Went to have Thanksgiving dinner and it was terrible. Looked bad tasted bad. For a joke got a hungry Man turkey frozen dinner the next day and it was much better. Dennys turkey was tasteless and dry, the dressing was way over salted, the mashed potatoes were OK. The side of broccoli, oh we didn't get one and realize we should have gotten one until after the meal. The only good part of the meal is we got to meet a lovely young lady who is working while going to college. We gave her almost a 50% tip because we enjoyed her so.

Sat in the waiting area for over an hour after being told it was a 15 minute wait. Then a woman spoke up who was seated at her table who hadn’t been served in an hour mind you at this point the dining room was empty and the staff was hanging around helping no one. If you don’t want to waste your time don’t come to this dennys.

Came to have lunch. There was an old lady already in the waiting line, kind of angry and told us that she's been waiting for a while. The 2 servers were going back and forth explaining to the front desk that they can't have more people to serve. Seeing all the commotion going on, we decided to leave. It is unprofessional to argue in front of people. If they can't serve us, just let us know and we'll go to another place, instead of letting us wait and wait, and seeing their unprofessional behavior. The management has to do a better job and assess the problem.

Went for breakfast. Sat for 10 minutes before the server Tyler came over for drink order. Received drinks and placed food order. Waited 30 minutes and watched other tables be served that got there after I did. Finally Tyler came over and said “I noticed you don’t have menus, did I take your order???” He forgot to put our original order in then forgot he took our order. I promptly stood up and left. I do not recommend this location of Dennys, even as a last resort. Dunkin across the street is a much better option.

In the past this was great place to go eat too.In the past ive asked for mango syrup in my sprite and every server would just make it for me since im not a fan of the mango lemonade tonight the server told me they couldnt do it because management would not allow it. Same managment that gave us an attitude when we walked in because there was six of us. They have become very unprofessional long waits for food to just get cold food. I just got up and left today a simple request for mango syrup in my sprite and them catching and attitude about it caused them to loose a customer. Most servers do anything to make the customer happy since that helps them get a good tip but the gentleman tonight seemed to not want to serve us at all everything was a problem.

Walked in here at 9:29 PM with my family - three young kids in tow - only to be told they were “getting ready to close.” This is Denny’s, mind you, where the posted hours say they close at 10:00 PM. I asked if, since they were starting to shut down, we could at least place a to-go order. The response? “The kitchen’s closed. No food.” Just like that - right to the faces of three disappointed kids who, oddly enough, had actually requested Denny’s for dinner. As a parent, it’s hard to watch your kids be turned away like that, especially when you know the place should still be open. What was worse was how casually the staff delivered the message - no apology, no effort, just a flat “no.” I really, really want to believe this wasn’t about race - but either way, Denny’s, if your team’s going to stop serving at 9:30, then be honest about it and change your hours. Or better yet, retrain your staff on what customer service actually means - especially when it involves kids.

We arrived at 4:48pm order by 5pm my daughter got the wrong drink after I asked if they had sweet tea they brought unsweetened, then we ordered she wanted chicken Alfredo so everyone's order went about after 32 mins the waiter comes out and tells us they don't have Alfredo noodles so she switched to a cheese burger, after an hr of waiting for food she bites into the burger and there is a huge hair in there. My nachos had almost no hamburger in it the manager Chuck never came over to make it right very slow service the bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. Horrible place. My husband said his food was good but the potatoes were old and the dinner bread was cold. Wouldn't recommend!!
