Very friendly employees. I think the owner was there. She was really nice. The food was delicious. The dining area is warm and inviting. They have a few TV'S this would be a fun place to come on football Sundays. I like this location better than Tustin.

Super welcoming from the start. I come here when I am craving authentic mexican food. I ordered the chilaquiles plate (not on the menu), and they were nice enough to make it for me. My husband got the steak burrito, it was so good. The interior is very colorful and lively. Will be coming here again!

I am a Chapman university alumni and I cannot believe in all my 4 years attending that I never came to Jalapenos . . . what a shame!! I would’ve been here ALL THE TIME! Their loaded carnitas nachos and wet burrito were standouts to us. They also do a heck of a soft ceviche taco. And when one margarita just won’t do… why not add a michelada, a paloma, a mule, a sangria, and a mojito to the mix? We were so happy to see they offer all these drinks here!! Seriously though: whether you’re here for the endless drink options or the fresh, mouthwatering dishes, Jalapeños really does have that authentic flair that keeps you coming back. Everything tastes SO good — and the service is excellent! They truly want you to enjoy your experience beginning to end.

Update: they no long have the special. It’s now $14 with no drink This is my new favorite lunch spot! I came in on Thursday they had a deal $11 for an asada bowl with a DRINK! You can find that kind of prices anywhere these days. It’s like chipotle better quality food and BIGGER portions. I got to customize my whole bowl. Everything was flavorful and fresh. I got free tortilla chips and salsa. Salsa was basic tomato salsa, not amazing but I like it. I’ve been to orange a few times but never noticed this place. I’d definitely come back. They have a special deal everyday, you can see on doordash. Nice ambiance and location

I came in expecting to order my food and sit quietly in the corner. I was impressed and very pleased with how attentive the staff was. Being brought chips at the table and being checked on during my meal made it feel much more like a restaurant than a cafeteria. The food was delicious. I'm happy that I live close by and I can come back again frequently.

The remodel is beautiful here. I've been eating here for the past 20 years and I gotta say, they are consistently good. This is one of my favorite spots in the circle. The crispy tacos and taquitos are on point.

Delicious Mexican food. Served with fresh chips and salsa. I ordered two shredded chicken enchiladas with rice and beans. The red sauce was sweet, not spicy. I ordered a drink of red hibiscus juice, called Jamaica. Everything was delicious!

The food here is priced accordingly. It is delicious with great flavor. They serve chips and salsa. And at times, if requested with Beans. I don’t know if Dimas is a manager or owner there. But that man is so respectful to everyone who walks into the door. He helps us out every time we ask for recommendations. Thank you once again. Apart from the big restaurants at the orange circle. This restaurant is perfect for family dinners. And lunch options. Thank you.

Having never been here before, we were skeptical, but the food tasted homemade and very good. The dishes were prepared fresh and fast. We both ordered two tacos, one with Carnitas and the other with Shredded Beef. The hard taco shells were crispy. The rice and beans were a pleasant surprise as well. Jalapenos won't bust your budget. The chips and salsa add to the value. If you're disappointed, it's on you. We will be back.

I came to Jalapeños Orange Circle last night, October 30th, 2025, around 6:20 PM, hoping for a taste of the nostalgia I remembered from high school. They were relatively busy, likely due to the "Treats in the Street" event, but that is no excuse for what followed. The Food: Cold, Skimpy, and Overpriced I ordered two Pastor Tacos. Quantity Fail: As you can clearly see in the photo, the amount of meat given should not qualify as a street taco portion. For the nearly $10 I was charged, this portion size is unacceptable and a complete rip-off. Temperature Fail: To make matters worse, the tortillas were cold. The Service: Zero Customer Care Disappointed, I made my way to the register to request a refund. The woman at the register claimed this sparse amount of meat was "standard for a 6-inch tortilla" and, unbelievably, rolled her eyes at me. She then stated they couldn't locate my order to issue the refund and "it will be a while as we have a line." I responded, "Don't worry, I'll wait," and patiently stood in line like every other patron. While I did eventually get my refund (verified on the receipt), the entire interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. It's a shame that since the new management has taken over, the quality of both the food and the service has declined so sharply. Final Word Please save yourself the disappointment. Better to take another 5-minute walk to "Taco Stand"—the quality of both food and service is miles better. This was a truly negative experience, and I will not be returning. Hopefully, they will improve, but for now, look elsewhere.

I came in on a Tuesday night, I wont be going back ,You think that cook would wear gloves ,No using his hands , And I had to use the restroom, same cook was in bathroom for long . Of time and then went back to not wearing gloves which is I find disgusting and unsanitizing

The food was mid, very little guac for the food, there was a HAIR in my friends tacos and it was NOT any of ours. The worst of it is that we both got FOOD POISONING!!!
