Had a delicious lunch after church at Sol De Mayo tacos! This small restaurant has enormous flavor and wonderful and fresh dishes right near the heart of Dalton! We loved everything we purchased! We got a wonderful gluten free taco bowl, a chicken (pollo) quesadilla grande with cactus salad on the side, kids taco fry with agua Fresca pineapple, steak (asada) taco, an absolutely fresh and delicious Horchata Iced Coffee, and delicious churros with filling inside. Everything was authentic and the flavors were right on! Plenty of parking outside. Five stars.

The weekend brunch specials are some of best breakfasts in Dalton. For both carnivores and vegetarians there are plenty of tasty options. The huevo del sol plate and the horchata coffee are my personal go to.

Good vegan and vegeterian option in Dalton. It has a range of vegan options such as vegan tacos, tortas, bowls, etc., all with vegan cheese if you would like and an option of corn or flour tortilla. I like the nopales (cactus), papas (potatoes). They also other vegan options that i have not mentioned here. The food is tasty as well. They do have good range of meat and fish options as well. Prices are reasonable for lunch as compared to native kitchen (which is good food, but very expensive for lunch) where a salad is 13-17 dollars!! At sol Mayo, you can get 3 tacos for 10 dollars or one taco for 3.50. So comparitively great price. They are located in the Mill.

I thought it was a little pricey for my beans and rice topped with just lettuce, tomato cilantro and avocado. I had asked for other toppings but they were left off for some reason. My husband liked his steak quesadilla. It was a good size. The chips are actually like pita chips, but the salsa was good. I was looking for some real nacho chips. Also, even though the young man (cashier) was somewhat courteous he was on his phone almost the entire time and walked away while I was standing at the register. I love The Mill though it is such a cute establishment for Dalton I hope it is successful. I have lived here almost my whole life but moved away. I was just in town for a couple of days.

Simple. Get rid of the guy at the register, who also takes orders. Your food is great, the factory makes a great atmosphere. Portions are good. But please, this guy had 2 other people waiting when nobody else was on the line. He was on the phone on personal calls, and my wife and I heard him. He had to go hide behind a column to continue his calls, my son had to wait in front of the register for over 7 minutes until I had to stand on the register for him to acknowledge and just to have me waiting 3 more minutes to say... no, we don't have any more juice (9/28 around 1pm). Unreal. I really have good reviews about good places, but when a restaurant has to make changes, I highly recommend reading my reviews.

Giving two stars because my husband likes some of the food. I would give one star for ability to greet and acknowledge customers. Ruben has always been nice to us but I can’t same the same for the girls up front. Don’t bother calling to place an order, they don’t answer the phone. This has been ongoing for the last year or more, so finally I asked why they never answer. She claimed to be busy but when I walked up (seconds after calling) all three of them were just standing there at the register. On other occasions, they have been on their cell phones texting and not bothering to acknowledge us. Seems like having customers are more of a burden so I’ll give my business to Native Kitchen where food and service are always high quality.

Food is great, love taco Tuesday, but the workers are very rude. They workers have very nasty attitudes! I have been a loyal costumer for over a year now and have never had good customer experience. The workers always seem put off and make you like a burden when asking for extra napkins. This is an exceptional restaurant, but please hire more friendly staff.

I sent someone to pick up dinner because I was exhausted. I sent a written order so that no mistake would be made. That order consisted of kids nachos with chicken. When my order got home, the receipt said "chorizo" which is Mexican sausage. I ate a bite of it before I realized it and I cannot have pork. I threw it up and I hope that I don't get sick because of this. In addition, I tried to call them for more than 30 minutes about this incident and no one answered so I drove over. When I arrived, I tried to call to see if I heard their phone ring. I didn't hear it ring and I can only assume they turned it off. They did replace and refund the order for my trouble but they can hurt someone with that kind of mistake.

My coworkers and I frequent this place and when they first open the ladies that worked the front were absolutely amazing! However they now have a young man whose attitude and customer service is unprofessional and down right disgusting and for this reason alone we will not return! This guy had the audacity to get loud with me after a called him out about his disgusting attitude. Further proving how unprofessional and disgusting he is. The food is usually good but not worth the disrespect. Bring the ladies back, they were professional, patience, nice and kind♥️

Don’t recommend! I waited for over an hour and a half for my food I noticed everyone else get their food. After waiting an hour I asked the girl that takes the order and she said they were waiting on tacos, but yet I kept seeing people get their tacos... everyone that ordered after me got their food! I never got mine. I even waited 30 extra minutes! After I asked her. I finally got tired and asked for my money back, and I asked again how come everyone got their food and she simply said sometimes the Orders fall in the back. I understand that, but when I had asked about my order the first time she could have checked in the back for it! I will never come here again.

My wife and I felt really bad about it but we took two bites of our food and tossed it in the trash. The food tasted incredibly fishy and we did not even order any fish. According to my wife she said the cheese didn't even taste like cheese. I do believe in American small businesses I hope this business does flourish but someone will always be a critic and we will not be going back to this establishment. Don't want taste any meats that tastes like fish.
