Didn't have a reservation for Sunday, but they kindly fitted us in. Food was excellent. I had the home made Pate, followed by the roast turkey. My husband the seafood salad, then roast beef. All freshly cooked and tasted amazing. We will be back, thank you.

The staff were incredibly attentive, even after we wanted to change our table to outside it wasn't a problem. I cannot fault the food it was fresh and presented very well. Definitely recommend saving space for a dessert.😊😋

For our first Christmas in Spain, we choose an amazing 6 course Christmas lunch in the Tavern. We, Pauline Thomas and I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Service was terrific, atmosphere was awesomely and the food was perfect. Have to mention the homemade truffles, that should be sold by the box. See you next time

Tried the menu del noche and was very pleasantly surprised. Really good food. Sizzling garlic prawns were delicious and the seared chicken breast in peppercorn sauce was the best ever. The peppercorn sauce was homemade and the chicken so tender. Great value.

Food was excellent , we had half roast chicken which was cooked perfectly, all food piping hot and the portions are huge, really tasty, didn’t have to wait very long for our food, very good value for money. Service was also excellent, our waitress was polite and cheerful and nothing too much trouble. Would really recommend and we will definitely return.

Had a great Sunday lunch here. The food was really good. And the service was even better. I can only speak for the set Sunday lunch menu because that's all I've had. But I can definitely recommend it as one of the best I've had in the area.

Have called in to the tavern for a few years now for drinks, never really fancied the menu. Recently they changed the menu and we decided to give it a try. has the sizzing prawn & sizzing mushrooms to start they were fab. I had the lamb special for main & husband had the burger. Both were very good. Will eat here again including drinks (wine) was £30pp

Myself, my mum and my two girls came to the Tavern today as we saw an advertisement for the Northern Soul event. The music was top notch and the atmosphere was great! We can imagine it only got better as the evening went on. We ate a late lunch which was delicious! My girls ate from the children's menu and we had the set menu! Huge portions and great value for money. The service was fabulous from the moment we walked in. Friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend a visit 😊 Thank you x

Our usual destination when having a traditional British Sunday lunch. Good value compared to other restaurants in the plaza at what I think is comparable quality. Have the option of 1,2 or 3 courses which isn't offered by all. Good humoured and relaxed staff.

Really friendly staff. Excellent fish and chips. Large portion for the price. Accommodated a surprise party of 8 with no problem.

Had a great Sunday lunch here. Sat inside as the sun was brutal that day. A/C kept us cool as did the drinks. Food was excellent as was the price. Value for money. Can’t fault it on those lines.

Nice place and I believe the food is really good. Unfortunately we have been to this place twice in the last few days Sunday and Tuesday and the service is so slow !!...shocking. We wanted to eat here but waited so long it was ridiculous...it wasnt even busy on a Monday afternoon. One person serving and ine doing drinks. Very disappointed.

Very disappointing, the roast beef was awful and there was no taste off of the fish they advertise as their famous dish. Even our 4 year old said the chicken nuggets were burned.

My steak luke warm and forgot chips. Battered fish, hardly any fish, chips over cooked, gammon tuff, again chips poor, new york strip bit tuff, menus greasey and dirty, service mediocre

when we arrived we were ignored by the staff, then my husband eventually after 20 minutes had to approach the staff to ask for service, We were eventually served drinks then all the staff disappeared so my husband approached the them for the second time to ask for food I found the place dirty and not enough staff to take orders for food etc when we finally got our meal which wasn't great we wanted pudding only to be told the chef said no as the "kitchen was now closed' at 9pm on a Saturday evening they didn't have the curtosy to serve us pudding even after eating a meal there if the staff had not taken so long to serve us we would have made it in time for the 9pm deadline for dessert, then they tried to overcharge us for a jacket potato to the sum of 7 Euro I can definitely say I WONT BE GIVING MY CUSTOM TO THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN the service was poor and so was the food that cost us nearly 100 euro!!

Don't go to this place!! The staff was awful! Moreover the cocktails were disgusting : we ordered Moscow Mule but it's was kind of iced tea.. for 7€! That's a shame!

The lady that served the food was incredibly nonchalant and rude, had to go into the bar to order drinks and then food after waiting for 20 minutes to order.

Worst experience I had in a bar in a long time. Both waitresses had the worst attitude and showed no intetest in their jobs whatsoever. They were on their phones the whole time and you felt like bothering them when you wanted to order something. Even making a joke to loosen up the situation could not make them smile. Terrible experience overall.

No vale para nada. Hemos pedido 3cócteles y me trae un cosmopolitan que encima te cobran 8€ en un vaso lleno de hielo y con sabor solo a zumo. Le pido más alcohol y se sienten ofendidas…. Si no sabes hacer cocteles no los ofrezcas. Y si no sabes recibir una crítica amablemente entonces no trabajes cara al público. Aparte que el cosmopolitan se sirve en una copa de Martini y sin hielo, y no en un vaso lleno de hielo. El sitio es bonito pero no volvería.

it is awful! i would not recommend. The lady who i guess is the owner threw my drink away when i was in the toilet. when i then explained that i had left it here and had a told a lady she was so rude, it took me 15 minutes to get a new drink. she shouted at the staff infront of me and really is just a horrible lady

Empezando por que el servicio del bar no tiene ni idea de español , te sientes extranjero en tu propio país , el servicio es nefasto , pides una cosa y no te la traen y se equivocan y lo tienes que pagar . Starting with the fact that the bar service has no idea of ​​Spanish , you feel like a foreigner in your own country , the disastrous service , you ask for something and they do not bring it to you and they make a mistake and you have to pay for it .

Had a table booked in for 2 people for 4pm on a Sunday, place wasn’t really busy. Had booked a table inside, was placed outside fair enough, had to ask to be served for drinks. Had to ask again 10/15 minutes later to be served for food. When the food was placed in front of us had to go in and ask for cutlery, thinking someone would bring us some. All other tables 4+ people were being served ahead of us after sitting down after us or didn’t have any reservations. Wouldn’t recommend.
