I recently experienced the three-course vegan menu at Kres Chophouse, and it truly exceeded all expectations. This is easily one of the best high-end vegan experiences available in Central Florida, whether you're plant-based or not. From the moment we arrived, the wonderful service and cozy atmosphere made the dining experience welcoming and memorable. We started with the Tofu Chimichurri Skewers, which were incredibly flavorful and a vibrant way to begin the meal. Every dish was beautifully plated, showing the care and artistry of the kitchen staff. The small touches made a huge difference: the vegan butter served with the bread was out of this world, rich and perfectly seasoned, and the side of sweet potato mash was phenomenal—easily some of the best I've ever had. The main course, the Vegan Wellington, was a true triumph. I was blown away by how much it tasted like meat; the flavor profile was incredibly rich and savory. While my puff pastry was slightly burned on the bottom, the incredible flavor of the filling and the execution of the dish still made it taste great. I was also impressed by the large portions, leading me to take half of the entree home—great value for the quality. The meal concluded perfectly with the brownie and accompanying salted caramel ice cream and sauce. The house-made ice cream was phenomenal, and the sauce paired with the brownie was equally delicious. This was a five-star finish to a remarkable meal.

Great food, service and location. Had a reservation in advance. Awesome vegan menu. We really enjoyed the Wellington and the lava cake. Brussels sprouts were delicious. Great service with wonderful attention to detail. Would recommend for a nice dinner downtown Orlando!

For impeccable service, food cooked to perfection and cocktails crafted just right you'll want to visit Kres Chophouse. The atmosphere is dark and edgy, almost a step back in time but yet modern, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about their products, exactly the service you want from a fine establishment. The steaks are superb and you will not find better truffle parmesan fries anywhere. For appetizers you cannot go wrong with the shrimp cocktail because it is a classic but if you are a more adventurous person then try the oysters Rockefeller or the filet mignon tartare, you will not be disappointed. Hands down Kres Chophouse is my favorite restaurant in Orlando and I always look forward to my next visit.

A fantastic night (birthdays for my twins who just turned 21 and were having their first legal dinner libation at Kres). What a great vibe inside the restaurant - high end city but extremely cozy. It was really a special night - service from front door to server was great, food was on point - with most of my fam getting the Wellington, while I got the 8oz Filet with wild mushrooms. An excellent calamari starter and a couple of their excellent specialty drinks.. By the way.. the IntoTheWoods old fashion was superb. Neighboring tables even commented how nice it smelled (arrived with a bit of trapped smoke) and along with the bourbon and cinnamon, was one of the best I've had. The icing on the cake was the birthday deserts for my birthday girls - each superb. I've been looking for a great central florida chophouse - and we all agreed, it was better than any we've been to yet. Return visits are a definite.

Kres Steakhouse is consistently amazing. Every visit is incredible, but the real hidden gem on the menu is the prime pork chop. It’s perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and somehow the silent winner every single time. Yes, it’s a steakhouse — but don’t sleep on the Prime Pork Chop with pork belly. We order it every visit and it never disappoints.

Food here is amazing! We had the Old-Fashioned and the S’mores Old-Fashioned — both were delicious and perfectly balanced. For dinner, we ordered the ribeye, asparagus, and parmesan mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and full of flavor. The ribeye, especially, was tender, juicy, and cooked exactly how we wanted it. The crème brûlée was also excellent, creamy, rich, and with the perfect caramelized top. Our waiter, Robert, made the experience even better! He was incredibly kind, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Justin was our server and he was fabulous. From the delicious bread to the olive oil concoction with lemon zest. And then our entrees, the Australian Wagyu Ribeye filet, best steak I’ve had ever. The Au Gratin potatoes were perfectly cooked, tender but not soggy. Exceptional Valentine’s Day!

As always, the experience was nothing short of amazing. DC, Kristy, and Mike truly made our night—DC went out of his way to ensure we had a seat, and Kristy was incredibly attentive and genuinely cared about making sure we were well taken care of. We enjoyed the wedge salad, beef Wellington, and lobster bisque, but the real standout of the night was the underrated pork chop—hands down the best dish. From the drinks to the food and everything in between, it was an exceptional evening, and we can’t wait to return.

Hubbie and I enjoyed date night at Kres Chophouse tonight. We were welcome quickly with a warm friendly smile. We had an early reservation time. John our server was the best! He was knowledgeable, friendly, gave prompt service, and really made the night special. Thanks so much John! Osysters rockefeller were very tasty. Hubbie loved the day boat snapper entree. I had the beef wellington. 😋 😋 😋 ( need I say more?) The roasted heirloom carrots were great. Wrapped up the night with dark chocolate molten turtle. Wonderful date night!!

We were in town for the Pro Bowl and wanted a nice dinner afterward . Kres did not disappoint. Highly recommend. Easily walkable from our downtown hotel. Service was top notch.

My husband and I have come here the last few years for our birthdays, and it never disappoints. He follows a vegan diet and I'll try anything, so this is a perfect place for the both of us! A genuine old style steakhouse. The decor, lighting, the white linens, the food and the service superb! We started off with two drinks Lolita and Passion & Spice. Then we had the calamari (so good we forgot to take a picture)flavorful and tender. We also had the warm bacon spinach salad (No picture either) very delicious. Now to the main event, my husband and I ordered NY strips and wild mushrooms with Three Cheese Au Gratin and Shrimp & Bacon Mac and cheese. Chef's kiss!! So much flavor and cooked to perfection. Mac and cheese and the Au gratin were so creamy, cheesy and delicious. Dessert we got the molten chocolate cake and praline vanilla ice cream, that just sealed the deal for us. The cherry on top of a perfect date night was our server, Justin S. He was so knowledgeable, made great recommendations, very personable and you can tell he loves what he does. Keep in mind this isn't a meal you go rushed to, they bring every course in a timely manner, they give you enough time to digest and don't rush you out. We will definitely be coming back. Lastly, for parking there's a garage across from the restaurant and yes you have to pay but definitely worth it.

Went to Kres for dinner on a Thursday night. I ordered the Porterhouse Lamb Loins, Truffel Fries, Four Cheese Au Gratin, and Key Lime Pie Cocktail. The food was delicious! The cost was worth the experience for me. Also, the cocktail was just enough alcohol and not too sweet. I would definitely order it again! Overall, it was a great experience. I saw after I ordered that they had an extensive vegan menu on the back. I will have to try it next time.

Had a fantastic evening at Kres in downtown Orlando. Our server Vali was amazing, the food was extremely good and the vibes are super lowkey and cozy. An added bonus being they have a very extensive vegan menu which is really hard to come by at a steak house. Highly recommend stopping in if you want a great dinner.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Kres Chophouse! From start to finish, everything was flawless. The escargot is amazing – rich, buttery, and cooked to perfection. The chargrilled oysters are sooooo yummy – smoky, flavorful, and truly unforgettable. I also tried the octopus and shrimp, and wow – both were incredibly tender, and the jumbo shrimp were bursting with flavor. But the real star of the show? The Filet Wellington – hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and wrapped in a delicate, flaky pastry that sealed the deal. Beyond the food, the service is top-notch, the atmosphere is elegant yet inviting, and the vibe is just unmatched. Whether it’s a special occasion or a night out, Kres delivers a 5-star experience every time. Can’t wait to go back!

Warm lighting and high ceilings in this wonderful restaurant. This is a legit steakhouse, but they also have a vegan menu and a vegan chef on staff. Visiting town to see some family and friends and we hit this place up for some good vegan food. The vegan menu pretty much mirrors the regular menu (vegan beef Wellington, etc) and it is delicious. Had the three course prix fixe vegan dinner. The caprese was delicious. The vegan “beef” Wellington had port shallot that really took it to another level. The churro waffle for dessert made me feel lucky that I still had some room to enjoy it! Cannot recommend this place enough. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

I give a lot of 5 stars to places I like because I want to see the restaurant do well. I came here and this was truly a 5 star restaurant. From the moment the hostess opened the door inviting me in with a warm smile to the hostess hold the door open for me when I waddled out. An absolutely incredible experience. Our server Lizzie was fantastic. I could not say enough nice things about her. The general manager Heidi introduced herself and I could not stop saying nice things about everything. All of the details were paid attention to. The drinks were tasty. The steak tartar was one of the best items I have ever eaten. My steak was cooked to perfection. My wife had the beef wellington, and it was delicious. My son ordered a lobster tail, and it was the best tail I ever had. You must get the bread pudding. Phenomenal. I can't say enough nice things to say about Kres. 10 stars!

Went for a birthday celebration, but the host didn't make reservations. They are a must, but the bouncer at the door was able to get us a table. Our server was very accommodating and attentive. The food was really good. I had a side of the shrimp and bacon Mac n cheese and a, a side of asparagus. They were huge. I didn't finish either of them and had a second meal. My friend is vegan, so they had options. They had a dress code that I noticed quite a few didn't follow, but that wasn't a deal breaker for me. Very intimate atmosphere. Nice girls/guys night or date or even solo. Be prepared to look for paid parking, and it can take a while since you're downtown.

It was an amazing experience for dinner. The place was great the server is very kind and patient. The food options are plenty. Vegan friendly, the steak is the best. Came for my Anniversary. One of the best steakhouses I have ever been to. Octopus is amazing. Ribeye and filet is great as well! The carpaccio was amazing and unfortunately forgot to take a photo of this.

I usually don't do steak at restaurants because I feel like I can cook it better 6 different ways. This is a great steak. Easily top 3 in Orlando. I'd wager money there's something in that kitchen that has open flames as well. Very tender and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the oysters Rockefeller as an app. Even if you don't like oysters. They're that good. The lobster may have been a tiny bit over cooked but still very excellent in my opinion. The filet Wellington also done traditionally and cooked to perfection. Also an amazingly eclectic vegan and vegetarian side of the menu as well. It's a little expensive but honestly you get what you pay for. Three of us, four adult beverages, two apps, three entrees and we were in the $280 range without tip. I have no regrets. So a great date night or celebration restaurant for sure. The only drawback if there were one is the parking. It's on Church so parking on Orange you're walking about a mile. If you're in the garage you also have to be careful. At 9:30p.m. it literally took us an hour to get out of the parking garage because of how backed up it was. So you may want to ride share. Will definitely be back.

Best steak I've ever had. Pork belly was perfect. The shrimp mac-n-cheese was delightful and just decadent enough. 5/5 food. Ambiance: For having such dark colors such as red and brown the place was actually very well lit. Comfortable seating and very clean. From the hostess to the servers and the manager that swung by everybody was great.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved the food. Brandon (our waiter) was very knowledgeable about the menu and very personable. Would go back just because of the service! The food was amazing. We appreciate that they offer a prefix vegan menu for my boyfriend who is vegan. All the food vegan and non vegan was amazing. Highly recommend!

Traveling for business in Orlando and happened upon Kres Chophouse in Downtown Orlando. It was a 5 minute walk from my hotel which made this an easy choice after a long day of traveling. The menu had numerous steak and fresh seafood options to choose from as well as several gluten free accommodations. I ended up selecting the shrimp cocktail as a starter-an absolute staple in my opinion. The shrimp came atop a selection of cocktail sauce, house made remoulade, and fresh horseradish which made my heart sing and my sinuses sting with just the right amount of oomf! The filet was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor, the chef absolutely nailed it. The sides are family style and I chose to enjoy a baked potato on my own, fully loaded of course-as if there is another way to enjoy a baked potato. I left no room for dessert but the crème brûlée did try to tempt me from across the room. I also have to say that I experienced some of the best service at a restaurant I have in a long time. The waitstaff was thoughtful, attentive and incredibly friendly. The ambience is also quite welcoming while being upscale. I’m someone who appreciates dim lighting in the steakhouse and Kres nailed it. I have to say I enjoyed the meal and experience so much that I was a repeat visitor the next night as well. This will become a staple for when I’m in Orlando on business.

There is absolutely nothing bad I can say about Kres. The food is always amazing. I go to Kres at least once a month. My favorite dish is the lamb loins but if I'm feeling for something light then I would do the mixed grill, and the oysters is a must have with every meal. The staff is always welcoming each and every one of them. David saved my life with a scrunchie on a rainy day and Aubrey makes a perfect French 75 every time. Seriously, Kres is the absolute best!

I usually don’t give five-star ratings, but this time everything was excellent. The ribeye was cooked Pittsburgh style and medium-well, just as I requested: absolutely perfect. Our waitress even took the time to cut the steak in front of us to check the temperature and make sure it was done exactly to my order. The house wine was surprisingly great, and the overall atmosphere made the dinner memorable. The only slight miss was a drink that turned out too sweet for my taste—but it was made correctly, just not my preference. I’m sure they would’ve gladly adjusted it if I had mentioned it. What truly stood out was how they accommodated my wife’s allergies. They went above and beyond to ensure the entire meal was safe and enjoyable for her. That level of care made the evening unforgettable.

Wow! What an amazing experience. Olivia and Maisha greeted us at the host stand with Anniversary wishes and promptly walked us to our table. Maisha even waited for me to take off my jacket before handing me my menu and offered to push in my chair. Bob was our server and I’ve never received better service. He was fun and funny while still maintaining such professionalism and attention to detail. Our courses were timed perfectly. I’ve been vegan for 9 years and I’ve NEVER had better vegan dishes. We had the Tofu skewers, Chickn Bianca, and “Beef” Wellington with the Churro Waffle for dessert. The prices were incredibly reasonable for the quality of food and drinks. Honestly the food could’ve been horrible and I still would be happy simply because of the amazing service from start to finish.

Ive always liked Kres. The food is great and the service is wonderful. My friend and I used to go there a lot. Our favorite dessert is the Bread Pudding. Its warm, gooey, sweet and creamy. Everything you'd want after a delightful dinner service. My friend got sick and I would order the bread pudding as take out. She recently passed away and upon my return to celebrate her life Heidi and Aubrey (bartenders) remembered me and helped me celebrate her. A year later and they still remember our story. They've gone from an awesome restaurant to a part of my journey through life. I want to recognize Heidi, Aubrey and the entire team who are both talented and compassionate. Im going to see my friends best friend and Heidi and Aubrey made sure I have bread pudding to take with me so I can share her memory in a warm, gooey, sweet and creamy way. They will always be part of my family and I will always recommend this restaurant to everyone looking for a great experience.

From the very first phone call i made to get a reservation to actually being present in the restaurant was amazing. Visited orlando for my birthday vacation and spoke to Josh who had great customer service on the phone and was the one who sold me on this restaurant. When i actually got there, my server kristie was 100/10 from the beginning and she went above and beyond for me!! The food was excellent, the service, the drinks and just everything about this place. I would definitely come back and recommend to everyone i know. again shout out to kristie for being amazing!!!

We came in because other areas were busy before a concert at the kia center. They had seating at the bar area but thankfully it was full service. The drinks were nicely balanced and interesting, plus they just generally have a very wide selection. The food was more upscale than we planned, but well worth it. I had the elk and escargot, and the half duck. Everything was cooked splendedly and came out in a reasonable amount of time. I am very interested in checking out the vegan menu.

I am so glad we found this place. I've been dreaming with a beef welington for years and this place made my dream come true. The environment is super nice and elegant, service is great and the food, I can't even describe. It goes beyond a meal, it's an experience, I feel so pleased and recharged. Absolutely blown away by this place! I found Kres while searching for romantic restaurants in Orlando and was so excited to see they offer a fully vegan menu! As someone who’s been vegan for 8 years, I honestly wasn’t expecting to be this impressed — but I was completely amazed. I ordered the Vegan Beef Wellington, and it was out of this world — probably the best vegan dish I’ve ever had. My 3-course menu started with a vegan escargot-style mushroom appetizer, then the Wellington, and for dessert my boyfriend and I shared a brookie, which was absolutely divine. He didn’t even want to try it at first and now he can’t stop talking about it! 😄 The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent, and the ambiance was just perfect — beautiful space, great music, romantic atmosphere. My boyfriend had a chicken pasta and loved it too (he said the pasta was perfect and the chicken could’ve been a bit better, but overall he really enjoyed it). I was also so impressed that they clearly label their vegan wines — that’s such a rare and thoughtful touch. I can’t wait to go back. Huge compliments to the chef and the entire team for creating such an amazing experience. This restaurant is now one of my favorites in Orlando. 💛

I came to Kres Chophouse in Downtown Orlando for my birthday and tried their 3-course vegan prix fixe menu with my partner — and it was absolutely worth it! We shared the chimichurri grilled tofu skewers and chickpea & artichoke "crab cake" to start (so good we forgot to take pictures). For entrées, I had the vegan “beef” Wellington and my partner got the vegan Salisbury steak. Both were flavorful, filling, and beautifully plated — we even took some home. For dessert, the churro waffle and brookie were decadent and came with housemade vegan ice cream. Since it was my birthday, they added a candle to my dessert, which was a nice small touch (though nothing else special was offered). Drinks were just as impressive. We tried the Lolita, Blackberry Smash, Watermelon Margarita, and Bittersweet Summer — all well-crafted and unique. (No photos of the first two because we dove in too fast!) Our server Matthew was excellent — super knowledgeable about the vegan options and very kind throughout the night. We spent around $200 including tip for two people, which felt reasonable for a full experience like this. Valet is available, but we parked about a block away in a garage for $15 due to limited street parking. Pro tips: The vegan menu is separate but extensive and creative — definitely not an afterthought. Great for date nights, special occasions, and vegans looking for upscale dining. Would absolutely return again!

The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Everyone was so attractive. Honestly, the best steak I've ever had, cooked perfect medium rare. Can't get any better than that. We are definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu, as everything looked amazing.

Our anniversary trip to @kres with @Vedgechef was amazing as always!!! The Peach Caprese is so good. We always get a wedge salad or 3🤣 The rigatoni turned out to be shells due to availability from their supplier but Jen’s cheeses are so good. The churro waffles are an awesome addition! So happy that they have added n/a drinks too! It’s awesome that there are excellent drink options!

We went for a birthday dinner and we were blown away.. our expectations were high and they were met. Santiago was our server and he took really good care of us, he answered our questions and guided us through the menu. He made sure our cup of wine was never empty, and that our table was always clean. The food was amazing, and everything was cooked to perfection. 10/10 experience!!

I rarely leave reviews on restaurants but I’m making an exception today. The service was great but the food was better! I had the salmon and it was cooked to perfection along with the risatto and kale. Dessert was white chocolate bread pudding. Try it and you’ll be next to leave a review lol. Thank me later!

Most of our food was absolutely delicious and well made. The waiter was knowledgeable on the ingredients and preparation process which I appreciated. We did have an issue with my main entree (half duck) it was extremely over cooked. But the staff went above and beyond to make it right the manager also approached us to apologize personally. We would return and recommend it as an excellent fine dining location.

There is truly nothing bad to say about this place, what a remarkable dining experience. Service is top tier from beginning to end. I decided to try the Vegan Pre Fixe 3 Course menu and that was the right choice. Every step of the way I was blown away. “Oyster” Rockefeller was incredible and the “Salisbury Steak” was uniquely close to the real deal. Finishing off with some “Ice Cream Cream Sundae” that could of passed off as not vegan. Drink menu offered some great choices and I went with the “Plant City Spritz” to fit the theme. Overall I recommend this place to anyone who’s visiting or is in town. Definitely would come back.

We really enjoyed our dinner here! We've lived in Orlando for years and have been meaning to try it out, and everything was really good and service was excellent. The decor is really simple, stylish, and dark in a way that feels elevated but not pretentious or gloomy; it's like a sleeker old Hollywood style. It's a steakhouse so it's not going to be inexpensive, but I thought everything was reasonably priced for the quality and service; we spent ~$250 and that included an appetizer, salad, a 16 oz ribeye and a 12 oz filet, two sides, dessert, drinks, and tip. We'll definitely be back!

This was the best filet mignon I ever had. My husband had the ribeye. It was the best he has ever had. We shared a baked potato and the grilled heirloom carrots. I had a florida bee cocktail (a delishous gin&honey drink). And for desert we had a very unique bread pudding that was so good I cried. This entire meal was an absolutely Devine experience. The loaded baked potato was underwhelming in comparison however it was still absolutely delish. We devoured everything. Our server was Jorge who was so friendly and attentive. (Thank you for supplying Coke Zero as a beverage option as most restaurants do not have this offered)

Best steakhouse we've been to in Orlando so far! Steaks were cooked perfectly, sides were delicious, and the dessert was familiar yet unique. Service was friendly, and prices were expectedly high. My favorite was the Steak Au Poivre with Scallops. I'd definitely come back. Edit: Came back. Steak just as good as last time. Wellington was better than expected! Desserts are always a must here

Come to Kres Chophouse for lunch or dinner, and expect a fabulous dining experience! You want to make a reservation before coming, even for lunch. But when you do, you are fretted warmly and the ambience is calm and lovely inside. I tried a swordfish dish, and swordfish is just a dense white fish which can be hard to work with. But it was just divine, all the flavors worked together perfectly and I finished the whole plate. Our servers were super nice and attentive, and it is spendier to eat here but it is well worth it with the whole experience.

This was an absolutely incredible experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with smiles, authenticity, and acknowledgement for our first year anniversary. We got a great table and an even better waiter. Sterling was knowledgeable, kind, and very good at his job. Our drinks were never empty, he didn’t leave us too long but didn’t come back too often either. His recommendations were incredible and we were extremely happy with the service. The food was even more incredible. From the starters to the dessert, each dish was the perfect temperature, seasoned well, and delivered promptly. My wife and I had a great time and this just might be our special occasion spot from here on out. The prices weren’t even too bad either for such high quality food and service. Kres has survived as a restaurant in downtown Orlando where few have. They have been serving up premium meals with steak and other meats as their specialty. Good seafood options as well. But their vegan menu makes this place really stand out! So wonderful to have an upscale vegan option in Orlando. So meat lovers, fish lovers, vegans and vegetarians can all enjoy. Great service and nice atmosphere. Lively without being boisterous. Nice drinks and desserts as well! Very happy to have revisited Kres!

Celebrated our Anniversary here and what an amazing experience it was, my girlfriend is vegan and finding such a fine dining experience that caters a full 3 course meal with various options for her was a delight. I absolutely love Kres. Every time I come the service is top notch, the food is unparalleled, and the experience never disappoints. Heidi the general manager has always came around and made sure we feel welcomed and appreciated each time we come. I always see her working so hard to ensure that everyone is having a great time. Mikey & the other Heidi are a fantastic duo. Their service and attention to detail made our experience even better. Even Chef Mary came out to personally make sure we enjoyed our meal. She was great! Going to a chophouse for vegan food might seem counterintuitive: not just in the world of dining out but also in today's macro- and protein-obsessed food culture. But when I heard about Kres' $49 three-course vegan menu (an absolute steal, by the way), I knew I had to try it. And let me tell you, Kres did not disappoint. The quality, portion sizes, and speed of service were all on point. Our server even mentioned that the chef behind their vegan menu has received so much praise that she'll soon be opening her own vegan restaurant. After this meal, I can totally see why. Appetizers: - Oyster Rockefeller: When a menu lists nine ingredients for a vegan oyster, you have to try it. The plating, oysters nestled in a bed of salt, combined with the dim lighting totally tricked me into thinking they had somehow snuck real oysters onto my plate. But then my brain kicked in: Wait, this is supposed to be vegan. No animal products. A closer look revealed tiny mushrooms, and the seaweed caviar? It looked and tasted just like the real thing. Honestly, I'm still a little skeptical. Should've saved some for lab testing. - Chimichurri Tofu Skewers: These chicken-like bites were everything a skewer should be -- flavorful, filling, and perfectly charred. The Worcestershire-spiked remoulade added a depth that I enjoyed. Entrées: - Beef Wellington: A flaky, buttery pastry wrapped around "beef" that seemed to be a blend of walnut mushroom duxelles and black bean seitan (both listed as ingredients). The mushroom flavor was prominent, and the texture was spot on. The port shallot sauce paired beautifully with the "beef," and the thick-cut asparagus, cooked to absolute perfection, made me smile. And I always smile for asparagus, but this one? This one made me smiiiiiiile. - Crispy Chicken Pesto: The least memorable dish of the night. The pasta had great flavor, but the Milanese-style "chicken" was a little underwhelming. Desserts: Both the Strawberry Shortbread Cookie and Chocolate Mousse Cake were rich, well-balanced, and hit that sweet-but-not-too-sweet spot I love in vegan desserts. That's why I prefer them over traditional desserts: they're lighter but still indulgent. These were no exception.

Absolutely enjoyed this place on every level. First I have to get a shout out to our server Anjelica, I can honestly say even if the food was terrible (WHICH IT WAS NOT) we would still of loved this place. Amazing personality and made the dining experience amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection on temps. Food was amazing along with the cocktails and wine selection. This is a great date night place or celebration, or honestly, you just want great food. Also shout out to the Bread Pudding, I am not a fan of it normally but holy cow that was amazing! If you are in Orlando and downtown, I would book a reservation, you'll thank me.

My wife and I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Kres Chophouse. From start to finish, every dish was a hit. We began with the wagyu carpaccio, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful, followed by the lobster bisque and caprese salad — both beautifully prepared and perfectly balanced. For our entrées, my wife had the beef Wellington, which was cooked to perfection with rich, savory flavors in every bite. I ordered the wagyu ribeye, and it was hands down one of the best steaks I’ve had — tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked exactly as requested. We finished the evening with the dark chocolate molten cake, which was the perfect sweet ending to an already outstanding meal. The cocktails and mocktails we ordered were superb — thoughtfully crafted and just as impressive as the food. Most of all, Justin, our server, truly elevated the experience. He was attentive to every detail, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided exceptional service without ever being intrusive. I had an exceptional lunch experience that offered great value for the price! The meal was incredibly satisfying, from the flavorful appetizer to the perfectly cooked main course. Each bite was a delightful combination of fresh ingredients and creative seasoning. I truly enjoyed every aspect of the meal, making it a memorable outing.

Everything about this place is phenomenal. We’ve been here 7 times and it is consistently great. I’m vegan and my boyfriend is not. We both leave incredibly happy and full. There is no other place like Kres. We had Matthew as our server tonight and he was so personable and knowledgeable. Chef Jen makes the best vegan food I’ve ever had. She is so creative and talented. I’ve been vegan for over 5 years and she consistently makes each meal special.

I’ve been coming to Kres Chophouse since 2019, and there is a reason it is still one of my all time favorite restaurants! I’ve been to some of the best restaurants around North America from Orlando, Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, multiple cruise ships, etc, so I don’t usually say this often. Everything from the food, staff, service, and ambiance was just simply top notch every time! Our server Deedee, manager Alin, manager John, and general manager Heidi were all amazing as well, and very personable! You can tell they are very passionate about what they do, and are great at taking care of their guests! The food is absolutely amazing, every menu item I’ve tried never disappoints, and Kres honestly has the best filet mignon in Orlando IMO which I highly recommend ordering if you are a steak lover. If you guys are looking for a top-notch steakhouse in Orlando, look no further than Kres here in Downtown Orlando!

i went to kres this wednesday for a nice date night out. i have never had such a wonderful dining experience. while the food itself was incredible, the truffle fries and brookie were everything i could’ve hoped, what made our dining experience was our server Canyon. We were paid attention to, had all of our questions answered and our requests accommodated for, without feeling like he was overbearing and gave us plenty of space. When our food took a little longer than expected he communicated with us and comped our drink and dessert to make up for it. the atmosphere in the dining room was upscale while still feeling welcoming. overall, we had such an incredible night thanks to Canyon and the amazing food

I was searching local restaurants on our recent trip to Orlando Fl and came across this gem. The food, drinks, service and atmosphere was A1 . I’m not getting paid to say these things I’m just a huge fan of great food and exceptional customer service and this place delivers. Everyone in the place from the doorman, to the hostess, the waiter and manager were all polite, courteous, and professional. My wife’s steak was juicy and tender and my duck was delicious. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Kres Steakhouse has classic steakhouse vibes with a great menu and an excellent cocktail and wine list—especially a standout Peju Cabernet. Service was spectacular from start to finish: host, bartender, GM, and staff were all warm, attentive, and professional. The loaded baked potato and wedge salad were excellent. The filet, elk, carbonara, and shrimp were cooked perfectly, though the meats were slightly under-seasoned and a bit dry. Overall, a very enjoyable experience, and I’d absolutely go back.

The other evening I had the opportunity to dine at this fine establishment. The food was delish and was made effortlessly. I ordered a Pear Martini and Chicken Piccata. They both were too good. The martini was sweet and refreshing. The Chicken Piccata was super fresh, the pasta was definitely made from scratch for that dish. The server we had was excellent and assisted with suggestions and substitutions with the menu. The atmosphere was very romantic and chill. You can go there with your friends or your lover. I will definitely be back to try more items off their menu and to enjoy that romantic vibe. That’s all.

Definitely a delicious/memorable meal!! The calamari was one of the most tender we had. The brussel sprouts and truffle fries were yummy sides as well. The vegan menu was a great option too especially when there are multiple diets at the table to consider. & you can’t go wrong with the complimentary bread/butter and dip. Desserts were tasty and pretty big portions so be sure to leave some room for that! Paid garage parking, menu prices, and kind of slow service were the only negatives. Must try if you can afford to!!

Cool enclave amidst a totally dead formerly vibrant church street with pretty good food. So Church street/downtown Orlando is continuing to die, and own this sketch unsafe vibe to it. We did valet parking, which made a small improvement since we didn’t need to walk much through the streets. We had a business dinner here, and I will say that upon entering two things struck us, first it was cooler looking than expected inside, and two the front desk staff basically ignored us for about a solid 5 minutes which was a huge turnoff for a “nicer steakhouse”. Once we were seated the wait staff were wonderful and attentive. The collard greens and Mac and cheese were awesome initial treats, and they did have great wine selection. We did love the black grouper as well. The ribeye was nice, and perfectly cooked. Presentation was fine. I would say in total, there are definitely much better steakhouses in the Orlando region if you are looking for a fine steakhouse dining option, but if you prefer something downtown and don’t want to travel far from downtown, then this place would likely satisfy you.

Reservations at 7:45 and waited 15 minutes to be seated. No explanation on what was taking so long. At first the waiter was friendly and attentive, but the minute our food came, we rarely saw him. Had to flag him down for water. There was a manager walking around, but he never came to our table. I will say the food was amazing. I just wish the service was as good as the food.

Felt like a million bucks walking in! The moment you enter K. Chophouse you get friendly faces and the service was exceptional. I ordered the vegan 3 meal course and everything was so good. Debated on giving 3 stars or 4 food was phenomenal absolutely the best drinks too! However service was only okay our server was polite and nice but service was pretty slow I had to ask for my glass of wine several times from several staff before it arrived after dinner had come out our server just wasn’t really present that much. They also swapped our table and the table next to us order however our server managed to catch it in time and for the price and how amazing the food is I just wish the service reflected that a little better.

Dinner was phenomenal! Food was excellent!! Steaks cooked perfectly. I would have given the restaurant 5 stars but sadly our service wasn't great.Our server was very short with us through out the whole dinner. Also said he "assumed" we would pay our check a certain type of way. Not sure exactly why you would make any type of assumptions being in customer service. Additional training wouldn't be a bad idea. We appreciated the gentleman (not sure if he was the manager) coming to the table to ask if we were enjoying our food. And the greeters were very pleasant!

Food was good our waiter was nice but honestly this place is way over priced for the experience. The dining room was extremely loud and didn’t feel like fine dining or intimate at all. The seating arrangement is just odd and weird different levels of seating and it was just so loud. Our Steaks arrived room temp and we told our waiter and he simply heated them back up. They were slightly warmer but felt like they should have been HOT! $80 piece of steak should arrive hot and not room temp and our baked potato was also not warm at all and butter wouldn’t melt that how cold it was. We were really unhappy with how long it took to get our food once we ordered our meal and the steak was bland and needed more seasoning. There was also graffiti in the men’s bathroom which was off putting for a fine dining steakhouse. Overall wasn’t worth the price we paid and we will not be going back.

Where to begin. I’ll share the good first. My group did enjoy both our food and cocktails/mocktails. It’s in a very central area to downtown, so easy to find and get to. They also have a full Vegan menu. Now to the issues. 1) Waiter started off asking if we were in a rush to get anywhere, that should have been a red flag. We said no and were given no additional explanation for the question. Well we sure learned that by saying no, they were going to take extra long to get us our food. 1.5 hours is wild to wait for food. 2) every other table got bread but we had to ask and when we did, said it wasn’t ready, cool, would have been nice to be told that. 3) the way the restaurant seating is formatted it awkward. Booths are staggered against tables on another level. So we can basically see and hear others convos well. It wasn’t fun when an obviously sick man sneezed a total of 17 times in the direction of our table and getting his mucus on our group and food. 4) our waiter was good in the beginning but we finished our food and he spent 20+ minutes talked to a table of 3. He absolutely saw me tryin to get his attention. But he kept talking and talking and talking. When we finally got his attention, he had an attitude. And even sarcastically said we’ll see you next time. Can’t say I’ll ever come back.

Tried Fres Chophouse recently and wanted to share an honest review. The food was genuinely excellent flavor, quality, and presentation were all on point and definitely matched the price. Unfortunately, the service didn’t reflect the same level. Our reservation was at 9pm and the restaurant wasn’t busy, yet our server (Andrea G. — I only saw her name on the check) never introduced herself, didn’t check in to see how the food was tasting, and simple things like refilling my seltzer with lemon and lime had to be flagged down even when the glass sat nearly empty. I totally understand hospitality can get hectic I’ve worked in restaurants myself but attentiveness makes a big difference, especially with a $300–$400 check at a higher-end steakhouse. I’ve honestly experienced more engaged service at more casual places. Amazing food overall, just wish the service matched the level the restaurant aims for. Hoping it was simply an off night.
