Bella esperienza in un pranzo in famiglia in un giorno di festa natalizio. Un buon pranzo ad un ottimo prezzo. Servizio eccellente e cura del cliente top. Mia mamma vegana ha mangiato un menù degno di essere chiamato così, nonostante il ristorante sia stato avvisato quando eravamo già lì. Complimenti. Cucina tipica, familiare molto buona.

Prima esperienza in questo locale referenziato da un ns amica. 8 antipasti dove la panissa,il suff le’ di zucca alla crema di ortica sono un autentico capolavoro,senza tralasciare il brandacujun, il tomino ai semi. 2 primi:polenta alle ortiche con sugo di porcini,tagliolini al sugo di porro anche in questo caso li considero un’ autentica delizia 2 secondi ,spezzatino di cervo con cipolle caramellate e roast-beef con salsa gravy,memorabili. 2dessert, evidenzio il semifreddo al pistacchio. In sintesi:locale di montagna con atmosfera d’altri tempi che ben si sposa ai piatti della tradizione e della cucina bianca. Rose ‘ della casa,caffè’ e digestivo al prezzo di 35 €. Oggi abbiamo potuto gustare la cucina del ristorante trattoria da Maria. Ci siamo lasciati travolgere dal menù degustazione composto da: 7 antipasti, bis di primi, bis di secondi, bis di dolci… per un totale di 13 gustose portate che ci hanno abbondantemente saziato e fatto trascorrere un interessante viaggio tra i sapori. L’impiattamento è famigliare ma curato. Il cibo è delizioso. Tutto fatto in casa con materie prime di ottima qualità, spesso provenienti dagli orti dei proprietari. Tra i cavalli di battaglia che abbiamo gradito maggiormente possiamo elencare: il lardo di colonnata con il pane fritto e il miele, il brandacujun, la polenta verde con le ortiche ed i funghi porcini, infine il tiramisù alla ricotta con il caramello. Di quest’ultimo abbiamo chiesto il bis. Il tutto in una sala piccola ma con spazi ben gestiti, pulita e con personale velocissimo, attento e disponibile a raccontarci qualcosa in più sul loro ristorante, sui piatti e sul borgo. Raccomandato, anche in virtù di un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

Proprio nulla da eccepire. Cibo buonissimo, leggero pur nella ricercatezza di abbinamenti sorprendenti, piatti curati e nelle giuste quantità considerando gli 8 antipasti, i 2 primi, i 2 secondi ed i 2 dolci. Servizio perfetto e gentilezza senza pari. Davvero una sorpresa. Consiglio assolutamente. Prezzi nella norma.

I had lunch there with friends, their customers, and I was surprised that despite the simple atmosphere, I found exceptional cuisine, fresh and delicious products, typical Ligurian dishes, which I had never tasted before and which I greatly appreciated, especially the appetizers, portions just right for enjoying everything right up to the desserts. I recommend Trattoria da Maria to all foodies, the owners, whom I thank, are efficient and friendly, we will definitely return.

At Trattoria Maria, you truly feel at home: it's a family-run establishment where kindness and passion make the difference. The culinary journey begins with a series of appetizers that immediately win you over—fried bread with lard, savory pies, crepes, and much more—and continues with first courses rich in character, such as red wine risotto and polenta with nettles and porcini mushroom cream. The main courses are equally impressive: the roast beef and venison with fried porcini mushrooms are tender and flavorful. But the real highlight comes with dessert: the pistachio meringue, a unique delight that alone is worth the trip. It's not a restaurant located on the main road; it's tucked away in a small village, but perhaps that's what makes it special. Book early, because tables fill up quickly. I'll definitely be back!

The atmosphere is traditional, authentic, and typical of the Ligurian hinterland. The food is excellent, and the staff is welcoming and helpful. Local dishes with a touch of originality. It's best to call to reserve; we were lucky because a group cancelled. The village of Cosio is worth seeing.

We stopped at this trattoria after visiting the nearby Acropark. Honestly, we weren't expecting anything; we just wanted a plate of pasta and some shelter from the summer heat. The service was excellent; the kids each ate two plates of fettuccine, while my husband and I had the house tasting menu. To call it excellent is an understatement! We had five appetizers, a first course, and three second courses. All traditional Ligurian dishes. Water and house rosé wine were included. Dessert, coffee, and a liqueur were included. The service was excellent; it's one of those trattorias where you feel at home, not like a stranger. The waiter, who I think was also the owner, even though the dining room was full, made sure to chat with us and our kids, making the experience even more enjoyable. The best part? The bill, which pleasantly surprised us; for a lunch like this, we would have been willing to pay much more! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely know where to go for lunch!
