Tutto perfetto!!
Ottimo cibo, personale super gentile! Ci hanno aspettato nonostante ci fossimo solo noi a cena. Una bella scoperta, ci torneremo!
Cibo ottimo, personale gentilissimo, ambiente curato e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da provare la pasta tipica: le Turle. Ottime!
Excellent pizza, well-topped, and cooked to perfection. Friendly and courteous staff. The atmosphere is refined, tasteful, welcoming, and very clean, pleasantly spacious to maintain proper distances from neighboring tables. The idea of a menu in dialect is delightful. Full marks.
I rarely feel so satisfied. I called a few hours before, doubtful about finding anything vegetarian beyond the usual fare. Instead, we had an amazing, unforgettable dinner, prepared with passion and the chef's experience. No dish was predictable. I ate with my eyes closed to better savor it. We wanted to meet the chefs because it was an evening I'll never forget. The owner is also a very nice, friendly person, incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about the town and the valley. As a joke, I asked if he was the mayor... and I guessed right. Thanks again. We'll be happy to return. The price is very fair considering the quality and craftsmanship (they make everything by hand).
We went there for lunch on the way back from a trip to Liguria, and it was a wonderful discovery. A very charming and well-kept place, recently completely renovated. All the products are local and expertly prepared by Giuliano, a chef with extensive experience (64 years of experience as a chef, managing the restaurant of a famous hotel in Pisa for about 18 years). Trio of appetizers, including a spectacular brandacujun. Egg tagliolini with Cosio (d'Arroscia) veal ragù, incredibly flavorful. I wanted to have a second helping... Ligurian-style rabbit and braised beef with a side dish, simply delicious. Trio of ortimo desserts, including a truly special lavender panna cotta with a perfect consistency. All accompanied by simple, authentic local white and red wines. A chat with Giuliano confirmed his passion for cooking simple, authentic dishes, respecting tradition and local excellence. At the entrance, there were also awards from cooking competitions in which they participated and won. A fair price considering the quality of the dishes and... the bottle of Vermentino we took home. In the summer, it's best to reserve a table on the terrace in advance, which offers a splendid view. They're active on social media and host themed Italian cuisine evenings. It's worth following them... There's a pizzeria available below the restaurant, which we'll try next time! We'll be back! Congratulations!
On Christmas Day we went to this restaurant. I would say it was more than excellent. The owner was very kind, helpful, and welcoming without taking anything away from the waiters. The food was very good, the wines excellent, the atmosphere beautiful. What more can I say? This restaurant deserves many more stars. Highly recommended, top notch.
We ate a really good pizza in a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere with friends. The dough is excellent, as are the ingredients. The place is located right below the Cadó restaurant, as the name suggests...I recommend going there! 😃
If you have the opportunity to drive along the Col di Nava road, just before the pass coming from Imperia, you'll find the turnoff that, in a few kilometers, takes you to the Cadò restaurant, meaning "lavender" in the local dialect. It's absolutely worth the detour, as is the charming medieval village. The tasting menu is truly worth it, but for those with a limited appetite, manager Antonio also serves individual dishes, local specialties. I'm particularly interested in the türle, large potato and leek agnolotti, an original take on stuffed pasta. The pork fillet is delicious and could be paired with a nice mustard. See the photos for the other dishes, accompanied by a local IGT house red, light and suitable even for those who have to drive. The service is competent and friendly. The price is super fair, considering the quality and attention to detail. Truly excellent, it's worth the detour or even a special trip.
Exceptional dishes, cooked with passion and then presented with equal love. I've known Tony, the owner, for many years, but I had never seen him as a restaurateur, and I was very impressed! I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for special occasions! Excellent!
On the last Sunday of September 2025, we stumbled upon this little village by chance, looking for a place to grab a bite to eat during a motorcycle ride with friends. This place was recommended to us, and it was a real revelation. The owner welcomed us kindly (unlike everyone, given the late hour) and seated us, recommending some truly delicious local dishes, cooked with true passion (we even met the chef, a delightful person). The service exceeded expectations, and the owner is brilliant and an excellent "singer" :) The prices are reasonable for what they offer! We'll definitely be back!
Amazing! Staff, food, view, location, just amazing!
Hi, we were hosted in this wonderful hilltop village, and they enchanted us with this splendid restaurant/pizzeria where the owner with his wife and their little child welcomed us with warmth and kindness. The chef was nothing short of brilliant in his presentations, the quality of the food impeccable.... If you want to live a unique experience, both from a culinary and landscape point of view, go there, nearby there are departures for fantastic trails.....💪💪💪💪 I will soon publish photos of the dinner dishes...... 🤯🤯
A truly positive experience at this restaurant, both for the service and the excellent lunch. The menu is delicious, from the appetizers to the trio of desserts. The service on the terrace overlooking the Ligurian Alps is commendable and prompt. All at a fair price. A well-deserved star.
Nice place, beautiful people and a great Chef! Typical local food and excellent choice of wines! Don't miss it !!
While visiting a friend who lives in the upper Arroscia Valley, we had lunch on the terrace of this splendid restaurant overlooking the rooftops of the village of Cosio di Arroscia. The menu features a variety of dishes, from appetizers to dessert, expertly crafted and prepared by the chef, who perfectly captures their freshness and deliciousness. The dining room and service are overseen by Antonino and his wife, he a sommelier and she a charming hostess, who expertly showcase the culinary offerings, paired with excellent wines from local wineries. Finally, a special mention goes to the lavender-infused panna cotta, which, combined with the lilac color of the location and the name (cadò, the local form of lavanda), made the day unforgettable in every way. Well done, guys!!!
Very friendly hosts and super food. The location is as breathtaking as the food and wine.
Tutti i prodotti s…
In the restaurant nestled in a beautiful Ligurian setting, We had lunch on the terrace overlooking the valley. The food was good, with a particular focus on traditional flavors and colors. I recommend the mixed antipasto, which is a highlight. The gnocchi were delicious. The portions are really small. They could be a little more substantial. The location doesn't have parking, but it's easily accessible around the restaurant. The staff treated us excellently. I recommend it.
A really nice restaurant with heart warming food, based on local ingredients. Tasty, Welcoming service and good local wine list. You must also explore the old village, with museum-like feel. Village feels like a time capsule of a lost era. ,,♥️♥️♥️
The owner's passion is the best calling card when you enter this restaurant just outside Imperia (35 km is really not far!), which offers the opportunity for a refined dinner, excellent wines and... why not a day trip? Cosio D'Arroscia is a gem: every corner is carefully designed, and if you arrive late afternoon, you can stroll around the village and then stay for dinner. The restaurant is accessible because there are no barriers in the dining room or at the entrance. Deliberately few photos: the restaurant and menu are waiting to be discovered.
Ho comunque trovato i piatti veramente ordinari, scarsi in quan…
