I had a very negative experience with Howard last year and I can not suggest working with them. Very unfortunate.

Unfortunately, I will have to warn others not to use this firm. They used to be great prior to being bought out by Bonadio. The most frustrating complaint that I will focus on (and there are several) is our accountant and the partner not returning our phone calls and emails (literally for weeks if at all) with serious accounting matters needing attention with deadlines, even after what became pretty agressive prodding for ANY response. It’s unprofessional, unacceptable and frankly bizarre… especially for the large amounts we paid. We have pretty complex accounting and business needs and they stopped having any sort of strategy meeting or even conversation year to year. I can only assume they are horribly understaffed and unable to manage their clients basic needs. We walked away with some matters that the new accountant will have to resolve from a prior year that we paid this firm to complete. ***adding - I don’t have the energy to go follow up on this, but if I were your firm, I would follow up with the partner that we dealt (hopefully you can search by our name). He was the one that was so unresponsive. The accountant we worked with had just been added to our account after our prior accountant left the firm.
