The soft serve ice cream was delicious. You could get it in three sizes with a cake cone to match, or if preferred, a plastic cup. Service was reasonably quick though the shop was busy both inside and in drive thru. Inside the shop is a quite narrow passageway between the 4 or so indoor tables and the counter area making it feel more crowded than it was. It was not clear where to stand in line to order. Also, people who were waiting for orders were also having to stand in this cramped area. But the staff member who assisted us was very courteous and got us everything we needed.

Im so excited that the DQ in Odenton has reopened! And the new associate said the new ownership hours are M-F 10:00am to 12 midnight! Hooray just like when I was a kid! I just got mine today and it's loaded! The line went fairly quick. Thank you DQ for extending your hours like old school!

I do like it here. I hate the wait. I enjoy the chicken here, but I hate that the pieces are smaller and smaller. I may as well order a kids' meal. Try the tacos! They're very good. ** This one here was from the 3 piece chicken meal.

Glad to see they've reopened under new management. They make the cookie dough blizzard the way it should be made. On another occasion I got a medium cup of vanilla with rainbow sprinkles and the sprinkles were sparse. Finally, if you're in the drive-thru, expect a wait because it's DQ. If you can't wait, you can go inside since it's open. I've visited multiple times since they've reopened and the service is improving.

So glad the Odenton Dairy Queen reopened. The new staff is top notch - active, polite and providing very prompt service (crowd size permitting) . Same great DQ menu - food isn’t all greasy like the 2 nearby fast food establishments. It seems less processed, although it’s still fast food. The only thing taking the review down a notch this last visit (2nd visit since they’ve reopened) was they didn’t mix the Creamsicle milkshake enough. Unfortunately that also revealed it is made with some powdered flavoring (not what I expected) because there was an insoluble glob of flavoring in the bottom of the cup as well as little beads that were sucked up the straw and burst into powder in my mouth.And it wasn’t good pixie-stix type powder. 😮😧

Mixed emotions to this dairy Queen only because their drive-thru as you come to speaker everything is good. But as you're about to wait for your food they always make you park and there's probably like six or four cars in front of you waiting. I don't understand why but this is every time I come and if you go inside to eat you order your food and for some reason you're still waiting

Used the drive thru, which is not my favorite! After payment I was ask to pull up & out of the way of the car behind me! Should have stayed put! Then I thought they'd (teenagers) would do something to my food! Rude at the speaker, rude at window! Ordered double meat cheeseburger, no cheese! My steak sandwich was sloppily put together & wrapped in paper! I undid the paper & the sandwich fell apart! Only thing good were the tater tots! I won't be back! Spencer location next to fire station! Received a reply from DQ "owner", using my 1st & last name! No apology, no reaction to my displeasure! Thought it was a standard form letter with my name inserted into a blank space! A response from A.I.? I think so! Owner wants me to visit again! Not gonna happen! I'm new to the area & have gotten food from her about 5 times, 1st time reviewing & 1st time using the drive thru! These kids don't know what organization & efficiently are! Supervision is lacking & it shows in the end result! No sir, I will not be back to this location! The one on Richey looks inviting! Next time I wa t DQ, I'll venture to this other location! Lunch time has a crown of cars in the lot! Might be worth my time! Surely it can't be any worse! Adios, Spencer DQ!

I had high hopes for the Odenton Dairy Queen with the new management, but was sadly disappointed today when we placed our order and got home and not only was the order incorrect, no one bothers to answer the phone when we tried to call to correct the order. I tried five times before I gave up. They also don't have any way to email a manager that I could find online or on their receipt. They do good blizzards, but I will just go to Burger King for drive through burgers from now on.

First, we’re glad they’re open again. They employees are very nice, but they need to do a better job of mixing the Blizzards. 3 times now since re-opening, the candy pieces are all in the upper half and nothing in the bottom half. If I wanted a McFlurry, I’ll go next door to the McDonald’s!

I love Dairy Queen but for some reason this location is hardly ever open. I've lived in the area for a few years now and have noticed that this location is hardly ever open and usually boarded up. I talk about it with my family all the time wondering when this place will finally open. I saw last week that they were open which I was so happy about and then I went online today and it says its temporary closed again. I just hope they they decide to open all summer for their customers.

Ordered 2 lg chocolate dipped strawberry .says choco chunks strawberry topping and vanilla soft serve.well as you can see it's plain vanilla very few specs of chocolate and 2 large strawberries in the whole blizzard I've ordered it before and always chucks of chocolate and strawberries and flavor of strawberry not just vanilla flavor

It's okay but they don't give you a decent portion of ice cream like other locations. Got a very sad banana split and hot fudge sundae.

Was excited the store opened back up but can we please get some consistency???? I knew I should have opened the order before leaving. Got the drink wrong and had to change it, and then asked for extra gravy for my chicken basket. Welp, I didn't need it because it basically looks like I got 3 nuggets and my toast is missing too. The only thing right in a $40 order is the cake I bought because it's already made. How hard is it to make an order without mistakes?? It wasn't even busy and I was the only one in drive thru.

I did an online order June 5 for 4 mini blizzards. The blizzards were melting when handed to me - needless to say they wouldn't have passed the upside down blizzard test - tho the drive thru person did do the upside down test for the car in front of me. If I had realized how melted they actually were I would have and I should have parked and taken them inside to be redone. They were in a carry container but still dripped all over my granddaughter and my seat. I'm thrilled this place is opened again but please do better DQ Odenton!

I ordered two chicken sandwiches they were both completely RAW only the outside cooked. Not to mention neither had lettuce. This is ridiculous I paid for cooked food not raw food.

Haven't been to this location for years. Tonight I brought my dad and family for some dinner and treats. They messed up my dad's dinner order and told him they couldn't make him a dipped cone after they took his payment and made him wait 15 minutes. I order they Cupfection and waited 15 minutes just to find out they had issues and couldn't make it, I told lady at register to forget it and just make me a blizzard. Thought it was weird they served my 9 year old son his blizzard in 2 cups. After my son swallowed Styrofoam, I took the cups apart to discover a big hole in his cup and Styrofoam in his blizzard. They really need to find new employees.

Half of my order was missing, went back just to get home and the order was messed up nothing like I ordered. Food was ice cold (gravy, mac and cheese). Wouldn't recommend everything was mess and staff look lost and confused

I always come here and have no problem. Well I went today and the girl didn't pay attention to what I ordered. I got home and saw they had my order wrong so I called and the young man I spoke to asked me to take the order and he will fix it. I went and he did add a 🍨 for free and a corn dog that I had originally ordered but wasn't in my order. I returned the other order just for him to toss it to the trash. It just makes me upset that I has just got out the doctor and just wanted my meal right and I ended up having to waste my gas to go all the way back over there just for him to throw that food away. Not only that when I got home with the second order of course my coke was watered down and the fries were cold. I can tell it had been sitting there. I wasn't trying to get a free meal or anything but that's how they made me feel. I wasted my time, money and gas. Smh

My family and I went through the drive thru this evening and was met with poor service. The gal that took our order made it obvious she didn't want to be there. The only time she said anything was to take our order and that consisted of...what do you want ok, ok, ok next window. Paid the gal and still nothing basically pushed our order out the window at us. Our orders were messed up and barely had any ice-cream. I don't know what's going on with this location, but I think we'll be finding some where else to go.

Waited in the drive thru line for 12 mins after placing my order of onion rings and 3 tacos w lettuce and tomatoes w no cheese. Instead the give me tacos with mo lettuce and extra cheese. This was a Friday lunch. Waiting that long I expected the food to be hot and fresh but instead it was cold and stale. I only had about 10 mins to eat before having to go back to work. Won’t be coming back.

I've come to this location a couple of times within the past month or so and every time I've been made to feel as if I was an inconvenience to the person working drive through by audibly sighing when we place our order. The bottom half of the blizzard was just plain vanilla ice cream, I'm already not a huge fan of ice cream so I feel like I wasted my money. I'm in a fast paced food service job so I get the frustration of a difficult menu item coming out but I'd never make the customer feel as if they are the burden. You suck it up and do your job.. at least where I work, we treat them nicely regardless of what they order. If it truly sucks that much you could always just go work another fast food job and deal with a different inconvenience.. it's life.

Never had bad experience here but tonight very disappointed the one taking our order wasn't really paying attention as we placed our order, so I ended up having to return my burger back twice. How hard is it to understand no mustard i want mayo instead w cheese they brought it to me the 1st time w mustard sent it back then got it back with no cheese like really. But bc she wasn't paying attention bc I told her twice no mustard good thing it's not an allergic thing.

I got the number 2 belt buster double.. n it's was so greasy ... Looked horrible.... Most definitely not coming back to this one..I'll stick to my go to by strawberry rd...

The teenagers working here are the absolute worst . Specially the ones working the afternoon shift talk bout rude . 0/5

Terrible experience. Food was bland, and the service was downright rude. My large order was missing two items, and when I called, the staff member was so unprofessional another person had to step in. When my daughters went inside to get the missing food, they were ignored despite being polite. The stares and attitude made us feel completely unwelcome. No respect, no kindness, no professionalism. Save your money and go somewhere that values its customers.

I came on to purchase a large caramel milkshake. The cashier greeted me and said yep. So I asked are you talking to me and he replied yep again. I asked what kind of professional customer greeting is that. I said you are to old and should know better. After paying for my milkshake, the employee handed the milkshake to me it was as if I ordered a cup of caramel milk not milkshake. They said that milkshake aren't supposed to be thick. They made it twice and both times I could pour it into a glass cup and drank it like milk or water. I will be having the Commander of Fort Meade place this establishment on the band list for all military personnel at Fort Meade. I have the rank to make that happen. These people need to be trained and or close this location. If this place is a representation of Dairy Queen you will be out of business soon in Maryland.

If you're looking to wait 30 minutes for improper melted ice cream, look no further! This is the place for you! My order was very simple (or so I thought) a large vanilla cone dipped in chocolate. I waited 15 minutes before realizing they forgot to fill my order (I had to remind them.) After reminding them I was a paying customer, I watched an employee scramble feverishly for another 15 minutes to perform the grueling labor of filling my order. After wasting all my time, the employee told me he couldn't fill my order because the ice cream machine couldn't keeping the ice cream cold enough to stand on a cone. I asked for a blizzard as a replacement but he refused that. What he handed me was soupy vanilla ice cream, dipped in chocolate with a cone slapped on top (A sloppy nasty mess.) What a terrible experience, I should have stopped at the Cold stone nearby. Terrible service, terrible ice cream, this place is a monumental waste of time and money. P.S Part of the problem is the location is overburdened. They have a drive through line that stretches out of the parking lot; they're serving crowds of people inside while running orders into the parking lot. They're trying to be as Sonic Drive-in without the proper framework.

The cheeseburger was salty and unrecognizable meat like dog food, the shake was good like McDonald's good not special. the heath sunday so little ice cream in a cup. You could order a small cone and have more ice cream. I always drive by this place and have only been there 2 times in 15 years this was my second visit. Well not likely to have a 3rd.
