I honestly love the environment of this restaurant. The owner asked me how my day was as soon as i walked in. Not just the customer service was amazing but the fries I ordered were great! They were $4 and it was enough to feed more than just me. Definitely coming back!
I very nice fried chicken place in Pasadena. I loved that their chickens were really crispy. Not sure how they did it but it was still crispy on the second day of refrigerator. The dessert was very good too. It’s jelly with fruit boba. The price was great for the amount and flavor.
Convenient location! Many people pass by cause their mascot outside is eye catching and funny looking :0) Walked here so I can’t comment on parking. Pricing is average (but the wings are a big size, so it is quality). But they do have some money saving techniques like giving out styrofoam plates instead of paper. They have many sauces to choose from and our favorite were Tokyo Spicy (wasn’t that spicy so I could handle it), Garlic Soy, this other sweet one that I forgot the name, and ranch. Their pickled radish was good too. We also tried their home made strawberry lemonade (a drink came with their food) and it was really good! We ordered the signature crispy in 12 wings. They were cooked really well and it was crispy! It def was hot and fresh. The fries were ok, a little over cooked. But a good addition to dip in the sauces or eat while waiting for the chicken to cool off. We dined there and I have to say, they barely have enough seating (only 3 tables and small bar seating style). Also, be prepared for your clothes to smell like smoke after! Like all the other reviews, I agree the employees are nice. The placement of the lighting and fans is awful. It creates lighting where it feels like you are constantly blinking and could get a seizure because the fan constantly moves in a way where it blocks the light for a second. It was very unpleasant. The bathroom is clean and only one bathroom for all genders.
We came here to eat while attending a TKD match at Pasadena convention center, their chicken sandwich is HUGE! Way bigger than the bun, their fries were tasty, the server was friendly and professional, Their dining area was kept clean though they only have 3 tables, they have a big enough area for more table. If you check in on yelp while there, you can get a free chick nightlight.
A great fried chicken spot in Pasadena with a fantastic variety of options as well as good service. We came late on a weekend and it was very busy - we were lucky to get a seat. There’s very limited seating, and to find parking close is kind of tough - we parked at town hall and walked over. The different flavors make it a unique experience and you can even get most of the flavors as sauces on the side as well. If you sign up for rewards you can get a free dessert too. We also got a cute tote bag, and we were told if we brought it back, we could get a free Spam Musubi (though I’m not sure how long this deal will last). Overall a delicious Asian fried chicken spot that if I was a resident, would be a common go to spot for me.
Chicken was crispy!! I love it! It also comes with fries at the bottom. The sauce was good too! I like the orange colored one, I can’t remember the name. They have different sauces you can try out by the soda machine. The owner is very nice! I ordered pick up and they have cool to-go bags. They are also reusable too. I would recommend this place!
So far the best fried chicken in the town! Their chicken is very crispy and the sauces are good too. The staffs are really friendly which is a huge plus!
We walked by and decided to give this place a try and we were happy we did. We were welcomed in by the staff who were very friendly and helpful. The chicken is made to order, very fresh and juicy with flavorful sauce. We ordered the 6 piece meal and the pieces of chicken were huge. They gave us a cute reusable bag as well. Definitely will come back!

Honestly, this place ruined all food for me. Not just chicken sandwiches. I think literally everything I eat now will just taste like grey ash next to how DELICIOUS this food was. The chicken was so crispy and light on the outside, and juicy and steamy on the inside. The batter was perfect with just the exact right amount of spiciness. And the bun... I don’t even like bread like that. But this BUN!… This place changed my life. There’s my life before that chicken sandwich, and now I embark on this new path as a new man.
The BEST! 😋 The tastiest fried chicken and the most wonderful service and attention to detail. The chicken sandwich is massive and so deliciously seasoned and perfectly crisp. The homemade sauces like the wasabi mayo and Tokyo spicy were so delicious! The wedge fries were also delicious! My new favorite chicken spot. Not only are the flavors amazing but the staff is wonderful and so very kind. The presentation of the food is so cute. You can tell the love and care they put into the food! My new fave spot! Plus I love their chicken mascot he’s so adorable! Also if you can’t find street parking there’s a lot across the street that’s 90 minutes free with validation (just run into H&M).
This is going to be hard for me to say, but this may be the best chicken sandwich in Pasadena! The picture I took shows how much you get for your money because it's a reasonably priced sandwich! Additionally, we also had the Korean fried chicken, I mean Japanese fried chicken, lol, and the curry play. The curry plate was fine but the Japanese fried chicken was excellent! Crispy wings that wasn't overly soft. This place is new and worth checking out!
Our go to fried chicken spot. The wings and boneless signature chicken are fantastic. It's crispy but light (no pockets of fried fat, stone like ), the meat is super juicy and flavor on point. They also have some great sauces like spicy mayo, teriyaki and wasabi mayo. They're quick and friendly. Def worth it! We usually order for pickup.
Chicken is delicious! "Signature Crispy" flavor is well-seasoned (unlike some other places) and the meat is tender. Fries are crispy and also well-seasoned. There are lots of dipping sauces on the side to try; we got spicy mayo and soy garlic and both were good. Overall, on par with Popeyes fried chicken, which is a massive compliment. Just know each order may take 10-15 minutes to prepare.
This place specializes in Japanese-style fried chicken, and it’s addictive. The chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside. The meal sets come with rice, salad, and sides, making it filling. The space is small but cozy. Always a great choice

This place has amazing marketing. The Tokyo Chick mascot can be seen roaming around old Pasadena and is super cute and funny. Probably the largest chicken sandwich I’ve ever had, whichever chicken they used it was jacked up with next level steroids.
Ordered a wrap and the wrap is good at approx $10. I got the free dessert milk thing and it was … really warm, kinda sour, and very unappetizing so I didn’t eat it. It seemed like it was left out for … a while. But they also have these super cute lights if you check into yelp and the rest of their food was fine. Just don’t get the dessert

Service was great. It was our first time going during lunch and the environment seemed great, staff was friendly. We got the original chicken sandwich combo. The chicken patty was massive and the meal size if good for its price. However for us we did not enjoy the meal. The chicken batter had a taste we did not enjoy. The sauces offered tasted horrible imo. I'm sure to others it's great but for us it was a hard pass.

Their food didn’t feel the same. We used to come here occasionally for their crispy, juicy fried chicken and appreciated their quality. It didn’t feel the same last night. The place wasn’t as clean as it had been (including the restroom) and chicken was too oily. Aftertaste was just oil. I noticed they pre-fried their chickens. There were baskets full of fried chicken by the deep fryer and they were re-frying some of them for our order. I wonder if that’s why our chicken tastes too greasy. Not sure what happened here. Quality control seems to have slipped.

If you can’t find street parking, there’s a lot nearby that costs $11 to park. We were promptly greeted when we walked in. The cashier was patient and answered all our questions. It took a bit for the food to come out. We overheard a worker apologize to another customer for the long wait. We ordered the drumstick bento box and a spicy chicken sandwich combo. They give a good amount of chicken and it’s crispy but it had a very oily taste. The veggies in the bento box had a weird taste, almost as if some other sauce got mixed into it cause the veggies on top tasted different from the veggies on the bottom. Also, the spicy chicken sandwich was not spicy and tasted like they forgot to season it or make it spicy. The bread they used for the sandwich fell apart really easily. My husband said it needed sauce to make up for the missing flavor. They have a self serve sauce bar which was nice but we weren’t wowed by any of the sauces. Check in for a free night light or an iced milk dessert with jelly.

Horrible fried chicken. The chicken was bloody and dark inside. Smells horrible. The wings have a lot hairs even after frying. They put a lot MSJ.
