The food was the most delicious Jamaican food I have ever had. The portions were big . Food were rightfully spicy and authentic. The lady in the front was very helpful and cheerful.

Now it may not look like much on the inside, but the food coming out of the kitchen is made by a wizard of cooking!! Had the LG oxtail...first of all, food yr carribbean and eat oxtail in restaurants you know how underwhelming the meat portions can be. NOT TRUE FOR G&H!! The oxtail felt like I enjoyed an entire tail to myself. So many pieces of various sizes and incredibly tender, nit chewy. Gravy over the rice abd beans solidified this oxtail dinner as one of the TOP 5 I've ever eaten. That's saying alot. Today I will try the jerk pork and hope to have the same glorious experience when I bite into the pork. G&H you've uplifted my expectations of Jamaican food in NYS. Thank you. Now if you could just work on that customer service you'd rival Golden Krust pound for pound hands down!! Blessings.

Laaawd have mercy! Disya place nice. Me and my honey pircjased two different dishes to try since it was our first time. The jerk chicken was succulent and well seasoned. It was not overly spicey. When my honey saw the dark brown sauce on the oxtail he knew it would be delicious and it was. There was little fat, it was well seasoned, and we enjoyed every bit of it. Run, go and buy some. This is my new and favorite spot!

Succulent oxtails - unfortunately couldn't taste any habanero and they were super mild but the overall flavor & texture made up for the lack of spiciness. Rice & peas + the stewed cabbage were also cooked well and tasty. Large portion will easily feed two people for a reasonable price. The older gentleman was lovely and provided great customer service. Really want to try the jerk pork next time!

The place does not have much curb appeal, basically a hole in the wall but the food is pretty good and authentic. Love their oxtails. Sometimes rice is hard and carried over from previous day- I know my old rice but if they made fresh rice everyday it would be phenomenal. I love to treat myself once in a while.

You may pay a little extra but it is usually worth it. Just ask... Good, pleasant and courteous customer service from the staff. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who needs a "hot, flavourful belly full meal".

First time ordering food from this establishment and I must say it was a awesome experience. The young Man at the restaurant was very polite. I ordered a medium oxtails w/peas and rice and veggies. It was delicious. The oxtails was so tender practically melted in my mouth. I would recommend this place to everyone.

I just ordered from here for the first time and it won't be the last. The oxtail and BBQ jerk chicken are both awesome. The food is flavorful and the portions are generous. I don't live particularly close (30 minutes out), but this place is worth the trip!

A small is really a mini, and you get two small pieces of meat and with the medium you get an extra small piece of meat just more rice…anywhere else you get plenty of meat and rice and peas and a true small size.

Stopped here for lunch and was surprised to see it was open. I had the brown stew chicken and it was pretty good. The only problem I have with this restaurant is there's no set time that it opens. They claim they open at 11 am but, I have been there at 12 or 1 pm and it was closed. A consistent schedule would be nice. Parking is not ideal however, there is a paid garage down the street.

Ate here once and I’m done. The rice was hard, dry and not hot. They didn’t have anything that was written on their board. 🙄. The meat was gross. The best part of my lunch was the drinks. This is not what real Jamaican food taste like. Not representing my country 🇯🇲 food. This is coming from a true yardy.
